La Table de Colette

"With green electricity, energy-efficient appliances, seed saving and the carbon footprint of the dishes shown on the menu – everything has been thought out with eco-responsibility in mind. Vegetables and pulses, prepared in all manner of ways, take pride of place, eg the medley of lentils – stewed, emulsified and fried. And there is the odd nod to the chef's native Brittany, in the form of the cauliflower surf and turf, Guéméné andouille sausage and abalone." - Michelin Inspector

One of my favorite restaurants in Paris!!! So much thoughts went into each dishes, absolutely love the food, wine, and service!! For 5 courses it was about 75 euro, another 45 for wine pairing. Note that the portion is small but delicate and satisfying. If someone has big appetite, can fill up with bread. Anyway I highly recommend it!! Reservation recommended always, lunch not as busy. (2025-June)

Google
Vegetarian tasting menu for the most part at 75E for 5 courses. There was a fish option thankfully. The pumpkin soup had the consistency of baby food. Unpalatable for me. Cabbage roll was good. Cauliflower, while ok in taste, one just can’t eat a whole bunch of cauliflower as a course. The fish was great. First dessert was excellent. Second dessert was ok. I did the wine pairing for 45E and felt like I was not getting a proper pour. Only 3 couples were there at 8 pm. The furnishings and tableware are very nice. IMO the food is not worth the price.

We leaved hungry but drunk.:) food mostly vegetarian and small portions, although many wines , new wine for each course. That was too much alcohol for us and too little protein. Service and atmosphere was ok, food sorry, but should be improved. This surprise 3-5-7 course menu is really disappointment.

My wife and I are visiting Paris from Portland, Oregon celebrating her 70th birthday. LTdC was recommended by a neighbor and we can’t adequately communicate how pleased we were with the food, service and ambience. Merci!

Google
Fantastic dinner! The dishes are well thought out and executed. Deep flavors and harmony in each dish. Bravo! Will return in my next visit to Paris.

Google
We chose the 7 course tasting menu for lunch and it was a pure delight. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service was very friendly and attentive and the food was outstanding. With the exception of a piece of fish and porc it was all vegetarian. We have rarely had such wonderful food. Every little detail was perfect. Thank you!

Google
Highly recommend, we had a great experience. We were a couple, we ordered the 7 course dinner, one of them vegan, with the wine pairing. As vegan all the dishes were incredible, interesting and tasty. The wine was good and the service great. Totally worth it for the price.

Google
Good food, and I can tell they took care to prepare quality ingredients. I appreciated that they were able to make the meal vegan for me and remove pork for my sister. I have two complaints and it’s that some parts of the bread were burnt and the savory dishes were too salty. I liked that they let the ingredients shine, but the salt over powered some of the flavor of the pea and parsnip.

Yelp
Beautiful location, inviting ambience, impeccable (and kind) service, all topped off with exquisite food. Each course (we had 7) was carefully presented and each was delicious. It was awesome to find a fine dining place that treats (mostly) vegetarian dishes with the same reverence as meat. Love this place!!!

Yelp
I understand that, generally speaking, a Michelin restaurant experience puts more emphasis on presentation, service, and quality over quantity, but the most satiating thing about La Table de Colette was the bread. My wife and I each got 7 course dinners. My two children, young in age, received 3 course dinners at the advice of the staff. We had to ask for our bread bowl to be replenished twice just for our children to feel some notion of nourishment. The first dish, a soup, was by far the largest dish and yet consisted only of approximately twenty tablespoonfuls. Another dish, a "celebration of celeriac," was quite literally a single bite with a few spoonfuls of sauce. I had requested no seafood with my meal, assuming any seafood items would have been substituted with some other meat; I was wrong. In each instance that my wife received a dish with seafood- perhaps two or three times- I received a substitute of additional vegetable. There was only a single course that consisted of any type of meat whatsoever (shredded beef) and I tried to make the most of those three bites. Of the seven courses we each had, there were two that my wife and I both severely disliked (they were quite bitter) but forced ourselves to eat them hoping it'd curve our hunger. The desserts were quite lovely, but completely out of place in the sense that I felt like I hadn't even yet begun to eat a true meal by the time we received them. For all of these negatives, I must say that the staff was superb. They were friendly, attentive, and accommodating; they could not have been better. Overall, I believe this restaurant is a bit of a trap for people who are looking for a Michelin starred experience but also not wanting to pay hundreds of euros per plate. And although La Table de Colette delivers on these two fronts, you don't receive much for what you pay. They were the only restaurant after ten days in Paris that went out of their way to request a tip for their efforts, something the French simply do not do, and which leads me to believe this establishment is taking advantage of tourists. I suggest you look elsewhere for your fine dining experience. Update: I added photos so you can see how incredibly small a "course" is.

Yelp
While the presentation and novelty was definitely at a high level, the flavor left a bit to be desired. I opted for the 7 course meal. Overall a good experience but not something I plan on repeating. The service was excellent! There was never a time where I had to ask for anything or wait. Kudos. The ambience was modern and slightly cold IMHO.

Yelp
One of the best lunches we have had! Super creative and delicious experience, enjoined it thoroughly .

Yelp
Fabulous location. Great staff. Delicious and creative cuisine. Selected the 5 course tasting menu, and was stuffed to the brim. Favorite items include the lentil soup, carrot selection, fish, and (amazing) chocolate dessert. Lovely evening, all round.

Yelp
I truly hesitate to write this review, but feel a responsibility. The staff, from arrival to exit, was perfect. They could not have been more friendly or efficient. We ordered the 5 course meal as I was afraid more would have been too much. I was wrong. This is a very upscale place, but, IMO, they are a bit too caught up in their own hype. One of the 'courses', was small portions of pureed carrots served three ways. Tiny portions. With the 5 course meal, we got a fish course. Both of our plates were significantly undercooked to the point of not having good flavor. I overhead the table beside us complaining, though we did not complain. Clearly, I am in the minority on this place, and it does do what it does beautifully. It just misses the culinary mark for me.
