I was disappointed to my taco run at a different establishment last night and so I felt the need to redeem myself and try a different location. I am super glad I tried this food truck. The Birrria tacos was by far my favorite and I would say I would come back just to get this. Each taco I got was stuffed with so much meat and definitely worth the price. I would say I did order to go and I wish they gave avocado salsa verde sauce and red sauce. Also wish they put grilled onions on top and a side of chili for every order but that’s just me being picky taco consumer. If they did both those things, instant hit and 5 stars.

If you think $16 is too much to pay for three Quesabirria tacos, you haven’t had these yet. The quality, flavor and quantity of food is second to none. If you’re wondering if this place deserves the 5 star rating, it does! These are some of the very best birria tacos I’ve ever had. Rich and flavorful, good consume. And I’m a red sauce guy. I’m always asking for extra salsa roja. Didn’t need to. Along with these humongous tacos they served a really healthy portion of red sauce. I’m a red sauce snob, it can make her break a good taco. This stuff was really good. Unique

I believe this place is a front runner for best taco truck in Austin. I do not say so lightly. I measure the quality of a taco truck in a few ways: quality of taco, portion of meat, “homemadeness”, price, speed, and love. This place has it all in spades. SPADES. They also use the local beer to help with marination. I highly advise you come here!! Es lo más buen taco de Austin, de verdad está en la competición!!!!

I saw this place on an Instagram account and I immediately added it to my must try list…. After trying it I can 1000% say it should be put on the top of yours!!! I personally had the guacamole which was so fresh and delicious, I loved the addition of the pickled onions on the top! DELICIOUS! I also had the quesabirria and the consommé was incredibly flavorful and the birria was so so good. I would come back just to have this again, but there’s so many other things I want to try! My boyfriend also had the mole enchiladas which he dug into before I could get a picture 😂 Mole is his favorite food and he is incredibly picky but said this one was delicious! And the salsas are on point as well— it’s just a 10 all around!!

The food truck is located in a parking lot, next to a brewery. Ordering was via QR code displayed on their menu banner. I went here with my family and we were all very pleased with their flavors; their birria tacos are amazing! The chefs were kind enough to give us extra blue corn tortillas for free.

Cute quiet food truck with outdoor seating and next to a bar. The food here never fails to impress, easily my top pick in the east and worth the drive. Do yourself a solid and get a couple quesabirrias at minimum

Blue corn tortillas are so yummy! I honestly preferred the barria torta my partner ordered, although these tacos were generously portioned. Great tacos and then grab a beer at the brewery next door!

Some of the best birria I've had in a long time. The meat is tender, juicy, savory, and spicy. My order was prepared quickly and the operator was friendly. I would definitely return or visit the other locations

Delicious taco truck next to a great brewery (Southern Heights)! My partner and I stopped by for a drink and tacos, and we were not disappointed by either. The taco truck makes it easy to order by providing each table at the brewery with a QR code. We placed an order, and within 10 or so minutes, it was ready to be picked up. Everything was delicious! We each ordered 2 tacos, and then shared some chips and queso. I think this is one of the tastiest quesos I have had while living in Austin! The folks working the truck were extremely friendly, as well, which is always a nice plus! Don't hesitate to order here if you are in the area and in the mood for delicious tacos!

This is a hidden gem next to a brew house that makes some tasty beer. The food was fresh, brite and well portioned. The freshness comes out in every bite you take from these wonderful taco's. If you are in the area and have a craving for excellent tacos, give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

This is my secret (not so secret anymore) taco spot in town. I've tried nearly everything on the menu and I wanted to point out a few things they do really well. Barbacoa meat - atx is not known as a barbacoa town, more so pastor or carnitas. However, La Taquicardia put atx on the map for their barbacoa. It's moist, flavorful and priced well. Blue corn tortillas - they hand make their blue corn tortillas. If you stand at the counter long enough you'll see them making them several times a shift. These tortillas are authentic and delicious. Perfect size, thickness and flavor. Online ordering - they make it easy by having online ordering. You can't call in unfortunately, but if you search them online you'll find several ways to online order. This makes the 15-20 minute wait once you order non existent, really appreciate the convenience there.

We went to Lulus in south austin off Menchaca and tried this taco truck that's parked behind it. Here is what we ordered tacos from the taco truck: Birria taco plate- really good size taco, the plate comes with side of rice. Guacamole - Holly guacamole. Never gotten this big portion of guac anywhere and it was all made fresh with chunks of guac. Super yummy and recommended Cochinita pibil- this was hubby's favorite. Flavors were on point and this plate cones with side rice & beans. It has just the right tangy flavor. Love that you can get yummy drinks from Lulu's and great food from this taco spot and enjoy it either outside or inside the Lulus. When we arrived they had just opened up for lunch and service was great and the ladies were amazing. Will be back to try more menu items.

Was at a random coffee shop off of congress. Was so glad I tried it! Really enjoyed the birria tacos and hope to see it again!

We got tacos here and they were good! I usually think Al pastor tacos have too much pineapple but this one was so flavorful and the pineapple added to the flavor profile. The sauces were housemade and delicious! My husband got a quesadilla and really enjoyed it.

Tachycardia is exactly what this place will give you! First things first, I don't even want to tell you where this place relocated because I want to keep it to myself! On my first bite I knew that this would become a regular place for me. So much taste in just one small bite. I ordered the birria tacos and expected some mediocre tacos. Most definitely not the case and I plan on coming here as often as I can. Location: attached to Lulu's bar in S Austin

Trash the tacos suck , people from California don't eat here , the tacos are not good , I had one of each meat . The corn tortillas are microwaved

Portions are big. My taco was bursting. Really friendly people, great menu and great food. We got drinks from the brewery and this is the food truck next door.

First time we visited here was tonight & boy were we glad we did! We ordered online as we were headed here - it's a food truck right outside southern heights brewing co. The food was ready when we got there- perfect since we were starving! Very friendly folks working in the truck. I had the quesabirria which was amazing! Filled with lots of delicious meat, cheesy, and delightful blue corn shells! I dipped them in the consomme & it was to die for! So delicious! BF had cochinita pibil plate & he was impressed too! I tried his & it was as great as mine! We were both full when we finished and very happy! We will definitely be back!

The cochinita pibil tacos are some of the best in town. Great HH on Wednesdays too! Grab a beer at Southern Heights while you eat your yummy tacos.

Their loaded nachos are superb. So incredibly perfect. I just ate some and already want more. 12/10

I don't say this lightly: the best taco I have ever eaten. The Barbacoa on blue corn tortilla lightly drizzled with the green and red sauces ls simply amazing. The mole, pastor, and other tacos are only really really good, but the Barbacoa is unbelievable. Great taco! FYI: the beers at Southern Brewery are top notch too

The food is absolutely amazing and is so much more complex and delicious than any Mexican restaurant in the area. I would give it way more than 5 stars. I went to the one at Colton House and the ambiance plus the food makes it a must go...even if it is a drive away!!!
