La Taverne Romaine

I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Taverne Romaine and was thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff demonstrated exceptional hospitality—warm, welcoming, and consistently attentive throughout our visit. Their professionalism and genuine friendliness significantly enhanced the overall atmosphere. The interior of the restaurant is tastefully designed, striking a perfect balance between stylish sophistication and cozy comfort. It provides a relaxed yet refined setting that complements the quality of the cuisine. Our party of three all ordered the same dish, and it was nothing short of outstanding. Each plate was beautifully presented, made with fresh ingredients, and delivered flavors that were both rich and memorable—undoubtedly among the best of its kind I’ve had in quite some time. The ambiance was lively without being overwhelming, and the thoughtfully arranged tables added a touch of elegance to the dining space. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, and I would not hesitate to recommend this establishment to others. Sincere thanks to the entire team for making our visit so delightful.

The restaurant "La Taverne Romaine" is a well knowed place in Abidjan. It's perfect for business lunches. The food is very tasty and the quantity is sufficient. Really, no need a starter ! main and dessert are largely sufficient ! Recommanded !

Very nice restaurant and very good service.

I'm assuming the easiest thing for a restaurant in a French influenced country to get right is a steak. I ordered the most basic thing to order so they wouldn't mess it up. But in vain because when the steak arrived it was chewy, and only reason it was moist was because of the blood. I had asked for the serve of mine to be medium-well done . Also The veggies tasted unappetizing and looked unappealing. The accompanied sauces are charged extra. I honestly don't know if I'd visit again. My money would've definitely been better utilized at a maquis(in terms of taste and money's worth). The 1 stars is for the service, ambience and decor.
