From the moment she greeted us with a warm smile and spot-on recommendations (yes, the flan is a MUST), she made our experience unforgettable. Attentive without hovering, funny, and genuinely passionate about the food – she even shared a quick story about her abuela’s secret sofrito recipe. Elizabeth, ¡felicidades! What a delicious find! I love Cuban food, and this spot is definitely the best Cuban restaurant I have ever been to! Our hostess/waitress Elizabeth was amazing. She made sure we had everything we needed and was so sweet! I went here with my dad, who got the branzino (a delicious and delicate white fish). I got the ropa vieja. Both dishes were outstanding! The chef running the kitchen really knows what she's doing! If you have a chance to stop in for dinner, I would HIGHLY recommend it!

The food was outstanding. Elizabeth, our hostess and server, was fabulous. I had the branzino. A delicate fish, easy to mess up. It was perfectly done. Everything we had was excellent. Highly recommend.

Food was very good after an hour and 45 mins when the entire meal came out. We ordered 3 cuban sandwiches and a ham and cheese. Every meal came out 10 mins apart so when we got to eat together all the meals where cold but the one that came out last. Was the worst service of 5 days on vaction.

We have been to the Mora Grill many times, and we had yet another excellent experience there. Outside tables were full when we arrived on a lovely Saturday evening, so we sat inside for a short period but the host Andreas moved us outside as soon as a table became available. We had Lamb Stuffed Grape Leaves as an appetizer, he had the Lamb Chops and I had a Greek Salad with the addition of Gyro. Everything was delicious!!!!! But the most delightful part of the evening was the dessert that Andreas suggested - Knafeh. We had never heard of it - a traditional Middle Eastern dessert made with cheese, pastry and syrup. My husband isn't a huge cheese fan but was willing to try it. I know we will be going back again just to get the Knafeh! (I will note that our bill was a little on the high side because of the lamb, but we were happy to pay it. We understand how difficult it is today for small restaurants to survive. There are plenty of options on this menu for the more budget conscious.)

I’m so grateful to have La Terraza Cubana right here in Pompano! It’s such a blessing to enjoy delicious, authentic Cuban food without having to drive all the way down to Miami. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and our server Elizabeth was absolutely wonderful, attentive, friendly, and made the experience even better. So happy this place came to the neighborhood. Definitely a new go-to spot!

Wonderful food , freshly made mahi mahi mahi fresh and tasteful , grilled shrimp fantastic. definitely coming back.

The meat was bad quality. It was so thin and McDonald’s burgers meat is way bigger. I’m telling you it’s like so thin.

Fantastic classy Cuban restaurant in Pompano. Food, service and ambience are all stellar 5 star food: Cuban sandwich is always my test case when trying a new Cuban place. This was among the best I've had (and I've eaten a LOT of em) 5 star service: everyone was friendly and almost formal politeness, like you were the honored dignitary 5 star ambience: there's a low key classiness to the whole place. It's slightly pricey but the ambience and high quality food are worth it.

We came here originally because the Yelp description said Syrian and Cuban. When we arrived we found out that they no longer do Syrian just Cuban, but we decided to stay for lunch. They had just opened and we were the only customers for most of the time we were there. A couple came and left after no one approached them (they were in the back); and as we were finishing up a mother and son decided to dine in. The small restaurant has been a number of places. Last time we were there was when it was Moira Grill. It is located in the strip on the south side of the street near the Briny Irish pub and just a short walk to the beach. There are inside tables and a few umbrella covered outside tables. The menu looks a bit expensive. We asked about specials and they had a lot of lunch specials -- all for about $15. The server recited the specials to us. If you are not familiar with Cuban food, or Spanish, you'd have to ask for a translation. We both ordered one of the specials. They really should print these up or at least have one written sheet with these lunches listed to look at. They'd have a much bigger number of diners. My husband had the ropa vieja. He said it was quite good with tender meat, but the little portion served in a little bowl was small. It came with white rice and plantains. I got their lunch special of a skewer. You could choose either beef or chicken and I chose chicken. The chunks of chicken were grilled yet still moist. In between the pieces were slices of onion or slices of a cut up green pepper. It came with rice and plantains. This was quite good, also, , but could have used some additional seasoning. I'm glad we came to try them. Now we know.

Service was poor - most of the food was inedible. Asked for a few things - out of the items - then brought what they said they were out of after they brought something else. Terrible - would never go back along with their sign on the door of the only bathroom that works - it does ' not take paper'. No toilet paper. Just a mess of a meal. Never again. I should have asked for some of my money back. Terrible

This was my first visit to La Terraza Cubana, and I must say, the paella was exceptional--one of the best I've ever tasted, perfectly cooked with a balanced, flavorful profile. Even though I ordered takeout, the small place was inviting and well-maintained. We also enjoyed a Cuban sandwich that was expertly prepared. The ambiance was just right--calm and unpretentious. Looking forward to returning. Thank you!

Everything from ambiance to service was amazing. The owner came over to check on us and talked all about his family from Cuba and the recipes passed down to him. Definitely come here for great food and don't be in a hurry if you want to enjoy the experience.

The food was decent. I've had better. And unfortunately, the service was awful! However, it was not The waitresses fault as she was the only person waiting on tables in the whole restaurant.

First time but definitely not the last. We went with friends and all had sandwiches, but after viewing the menu we will try the entrees in the future. The original Cuban sandwich and the chicken Cuban sandwich were delicious. The trio of sandwiches were a fun option too. Andrea was an amazing server! Highly recommend

Amazing little joint! We were apprehensive at first, does not look like much from outside, fairly small place with only a few tables but the good reviews on Yelp helped our decision. Anyhow, food was fantastic, it took a little longer than expected but it was worth the wait. The presentation was exceptional, the seafood mix plate was unbelievable and every sides were carefully prepared. It is fairly low key but if you want a quiet atmosphere close to the beach and fantastic food, this is the place to go!

The location was right on the water with multiple other restaurants near the hotel we were staying. They had indoor and outdoor dining . We were a big party of 14 and they quickly made space for us inside. With any large party, is started out very hectic, but the server was able to get our orders in a relatively timely manner. The food and drinks were phenomenal! Everyone had something different and ever loved their meals. I highly recommend this place!

We love the paella here. The cozy live music is perfect for family gatherings. Mojito is highly recommended and I will definitely come again next time！

they sell fish substitute w blood lines they call it dolphin. yellow in color. horrible service. one waiter for the whole place old food. makes u sick.
