We were starving after a long day of traveling. Decided to stop in and sadly disappointed with the lack of portions. Inside was so festive and fun! We got the guacamole and chips they were delicious. Ordered the 2 shrimp tacos and burrito, so much flavour. Everything tasted so good. Wish we would have ordered another appetizer since we were still hungry.

Google
Really cute place with great food! Margaritas were very tasty, I ordered the Spicy Marg! Food was very fresh and great tasting. I asked for a picante sauce, and they brought a fabulous, spicy green sauce! Yuuum! My salad bowl was a generous size, fresh and delicious. Hubby ordered the quesadillas he said was great.

Google
The music and drinks are great. The food is good but portions could be better for the price. The deconstructed elote was not as warm as expected. The fajitas needed more shrimp compared to the peppers. The burrito had a ton of lettuce but not enough meat. Did have good seating and fast service.

Google
Great taco place right in Wynwood! Inside or outside, it is pretty festive here with great decor. Expect it to be busy and with music. Plenty of drink options. Margaritas, draft beer, bottle beer. The food is pretty good. The pastor burrito was very tasty. The mean was and flavored very well. It was something to savor and enjoy for sure. The guacamole was fresh and good and well. The churros and ice cream was a nice way to wrap up. There is a standard service charge of 20%. They do list it on the menus. I'm just not a fan of this policy personally. Also, when you settle up with a credit card, it makes you think there is no tip. The receipts also suggest leaving additional tips from 3% to 8% on top of the 20%. Another observation was that the food portions were a little small compared to the pricing. It's not much but noticeable on both ends. Would definitely come again with company for a good time during the day or night.

I went to try them out for the first time yesterday and In my opinion could be better. The only thing I was happy with was my margaritas! The tacos shown are the Brisket that comes with a cheese and sauce, the steak and Pastor that has pineapple on it... all lacked flavour and came out room temperature. Also the atmosphere is loud and obnoxious. Thankfully I had a table outside but the music was still super loud, and you can barely hear one another.

Google
First time visiting this restaurant. The venue is bigger than expected and the decoration makes this place very unique, it does feel like if you were in Mexico. The music is great but it can be a little too loud at times. There was plenty of seating outside when I arrived, minimum waiting time to be seated. I ordered the tortilla chips and guacamole ($11). The guacamole had a lot of flavor, hint of lime onions, cilantro, jalapeño… it was very good. The tortilla chips were hot and crunchy. I also ordered the carne asada taco ($15), this dish was very savory and the meat was tender, all the ingredients were fresh and tasty. very nice presentation however I wish there were tortilla chips served with It. Waited a while for the dessert to arrive but it was delicious and the ice cream was creamy. The margaritas were excellent and the overall experience was good but I do think service can be better. On a side note the menu states that 20% Service Charge will be added to the check. Make sure you read your bill 😉

Google
Two stars only because the food isn't too bad the service is one of the worst service I've ever seen I've been here many times, but this time pushes it over the top. Their service has always been horrible no matter how busy or how slow they are. We decided to go today on Wednesday for the advertise, a happy hour from 4 to 7 and then a ladies night from seven to whatever time I'm not 100% sure but as you can see in these pictures not only who we charge full price but when I asked the bartender, who seemed not very attentive to his job but after realizing that I only speak, English made me feel as if I was less important , mind you we speak Spanish but choose not to always use it. sad considering they add a 20% bull$hit gratuity charge The bartender was on his phone The entire time did not pay attention. There was two of them. They messed up the order when we asked for a chicken quesadilla. We only got cheese. When asked questions about happy hour they brushed us off. they rushed us when we're trying to order, we're not tourist we're locals we will never waste our money in this establishment again. I've managed restaurants for 13 years sand my wife is in the industry. It's pretty sad good luck with the tourist. If you can't take care of your locals, you won't last long.

Google
Great little taco place to unwind and enjoy a cold drink after looking at all those street murals. I tried the Horchata (mainly because of the name...) and it was delicious. Also enjoyed the Street Corn / Elote- just the right amount of seasoning and cheese. My kids especially loved the smoothies. 🇲🇽 🍺 🪅

Yelp
Located right off NW 2nd Avenue, La Tiendita was my dinner stop this past Sunday as I started my daytime Baseling. It's a chill spot with indoor and outdoor space to enjoy classic Tex Mex bites and sips. The background soundtrack at least today was classic corridos and Luis Miguel on a strong sound system. It also makes for good people watching. The mangonada (mango margarita) I enjoyed in my outside seat had enough of a kick for Sunday afternoon day drinking and was served with a tajin-covered straw. It also had real mango flavor. The chips were decently crispy and I liked the fact it was served with fresh pico. My chicken burrito was nicely loaded and well flavored with plenty of chicken and a good amount of sauce.

Yelp
Came here one night because we were hungry, we had tacos and they were really good, the atmosphere was lively, the bartenders were friendly. The music was really good, and they had really clean bathrooms. Overall we had a good time but those tacos were really good. I will definitely be going back soon.

Yelp
My partner and I stopped by just wanting a drink and to try a couple new places on our Wynwood journey this evening. The waitress was nice and got us sat quickly as there were not a lot of people inside. We ordered a couple of margaritas and observed the establishment. We saw a couple order these mega nachos that came in a huge bucket but looked as though they were well overpriced for some melted cheese sauce on top of salsa all on top of a basket of chips. The jalapeño margarita was adequate and out of the two we tried the coconut margarita was the winner. They also had other flavors and are $5 on happy hour. I would like to come back and try the tacos as they noted to have an AYCE tacos special from 12-4pm. The decor was the best part and it truly felt like a local spot in a Mexican town!

Yelp
La Tiendita was super packed on a Tuesday night , the vibe was cool since they had a soccer match on by the bar and a dj at all times. The waitstaff was pretty overwhelmed with the amount of people packed in the place and unfortunately my chicken and carne asada tacos came out cold. There wasn't anything stand out about them the tacos. The Margarita was pretty good a bit on the weak side but still refreshing. I'd say if you work up an appetite while walking through the streets of Wynwood and in the mood for Mexican this spot is convenient and still a fun atmosphere.

Yelp
Honestly I wish we didn't stop here for drinks There were so many other places. First, We were sat at the most wobbly table, but my husband was able to fix it with some napkins before the drinks came. Next, the drinks were overpriced, full of ice, and barely any tequila. I ordered the spicy jalapeño margarita, but it didn't taste quite like it. Because of that, we were turned off on getting food and decided to leave after getting drinks. Two stars because the place was really cute and staff were very friendly. But otherwise we weren't impressed. Pass.

Yelp
5 star food, 5 star ambience, 6 star service... hey that averages 5.33 stars! Seriously good Wynwood pan-Latin place on a quieter side street with amazingly good service. 5 star food: Croquetas were terrific, among the best I've had, even by the high standards and abundant competition for that particular dish in the 305. The rest of the food was also very very good. 5 star ambience: the outdoor seating is more or less blocked off street parking, which makes for great people watching in a hipper than thou neighborhood. Along with quiet side street and the cool almost hallucinogenic interior, the vibe is laidback and fun. 6 star service. From the front desk to the server to the bar, everyone was incredibly nice and helpful. A small example: on a trip to the men's room THREE staffers saw my mild confusion ( or just thought they'd help gramps out LOL) and pointed the way.

Yelp
Came here for an event and the sample taco was pretty good so I stayed and ordered more. I got the beef tacos they were selling them 2 for $11.. not the cheapest in the area but I didn't mind since they were good . Chips and Guac were also really good as well. Also got a margarita and was surprised that it was $20 plus automatic tip. ($23 for just a drink) It was also good but I still feel that's pretty high. I would recommend checking out the food however... and maybe get drinks during their happy hour.

Yelp
Came here for the Monday special... UNLIMITED TACOS!!! Located in the heart of Wynwood, this spot has such a cute vibe. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and they also played some of the best old school salsa. I had the coconut lemonade to drink which was fantastic. For the tacos, I had the carne asada, fish, chicken, and poblano vegetable. All of them were very tasty, with the dish being my personal favorite. I do wish they had more authentic Mexican hot sauces and the meat could have been a little more tender, but overall a great deal if you're a taco lover and in the area for lunch on a Monday.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick bite after exploring Wynwood with friends who were in town visiting. Ordered the Al pastor burrito and it was super delicious and packed with flavor! Waitress was polite and moved quickly with our orders. Plenty of seating, both indoor and outdoor. Lovely colorful decor that makes every picture Instagram worthy! Street parking.

Yelp
We visited this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. This restaurant is located in the heart of Wynwood. The tacos were great and very tasty. Tasted like authentic Mexican tacos. Our server was great and attentive.

Yelp
Was excited to go for a ladies night, which are Wednesdays from 7-11 and they offer free margaritas. Was not to excited about the initial greeting from both hostess and server. Due to high volume of noise inside restaurant and low mumble of server, there was a lack of communication that resulted in what seemed to be annoyance clearly seen on her face. From what I understood, free margaritas where with purchase of food. That was not mentioned on any IG ad or menu. So ordered some tacos that were mediocre at best. Corn tortillas were unmistakably from a bag but contents inside taco, which consisted of chicken and guac were decent. Automatic gratuity of 20% added to bill.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this gem located in wynwood. We heard the music from outside and decided to come in for a drink. The restaurant was decorated very nicely .. we sat at the bar where Carlos the bartender made me the best spicy margarita. The live music was also a nice touch. I would definitely come back to try the food!
google avatar

Yelp
Fun latin atmosphere, large well made drinks, tasty tacos and lots of space to dance! My only comment was that it was a bit too pricey, but I should have known that being that it's in Wynwood. Overall it was a fun little surprise. We enjoyed the music and food very much.Guac with chicarrones were fire. I would return, just not starving lol.

Yelp
Food was good but not great. We had steak, chicken and shrimp tacos. Great environment and very prompt service. Will go again.

Yelp
We stopped here for drinks! Mango margarita was 8/10 Queso Fundido 8.5/10. Pineapple margarita 8/10. Mango nata 8.5/10 it was very refreshing. Overall the place has a good vibe with heart shaped decor moving in the ceiling. Would come back with friends. Hidden gratuity!!!

Yelp
Came here for taco Tuesday was very happy about there being plenty of seating. We sat outside and the waitress came over shortly after. She was nice and check on us from time to time. She was very knowledgeable about the menu. I Ordered the guacamole as a appetizer and mangonada for my drink. The drink was strong very good and the guacamole while plain very flavorful. Tacos I got were, Birria which were very tough, shrimp tacos which were tasty, steak tacos tough as well, very dry. I ordered the mushroom tacos but never received them. Ended up getting desert which I ordered the churros and they were hot and delicious.. but how can you go wrong with those.

Yelp
My first time to this place, I live in Hollywood and come down ever week to go to dinner with my son and his wife. We pick a different place every week to go to. They are both in the industry and understand the importance to customer service. From the time we sat down I felt uncomfortable. The bartenders were more concerned about there phones. When they finally acknowledged us he rushed us and I had to say hold on three times to finish ordering. He messed up our order. While ordering I noticed it said free margaritas for the ladies at 7pm to 11pm. Also stated $5.00 for appetizers. When it came to checking out, they gave us no discounts when we asked the bartender he walked away. I felt like we were being profiled and taken advantage of. So sad because I promise I will not recommend this place or ever eat there again.

Yelp
Solid 3 stars. The service is extremely fast. It's a sit down place and you get your tacos surprisingly fast. The tacos themselves were OK. We were just starving and inhaled them down. The guac was pretty bland. The atmosphere was quite festive and seems like a great place to get drinks. I initially wanted to go to The Taco Stand around the corner but we were too hungry to wait in line. We had a nice experience but I wouldn't recommend La Tiendita Taqueria since there are better options close by.

Yelp
Decided to dine in this time. There was no wait to be sat. Had the coconut margaritas which didn't shy away from tequila. Shout out to the bartender. It was taco Tuesday as well as happy hour (our server didn't mention until I asked if there were any specials) so the margaritas were $8 vs $13 ( I think) and they had simple tacos for a $1. Tried the birria flautas. It was good but I wished the meat was inside and I thought the consome would come on the side to dip. Everything came in a skillet. Got the off the cob corn which I also enjoyed. Definitely fulfilling though. They do add a 20% gratuity automatically to the check. Tip: there isn't guaranteed parking as this is usually a busy street so I took an Uber to avoid looking for parking and paying for parking
google avatar

Adriana R.

Yelp
Not worth it. The atmosphere is nice and decorative. They offer outdoor seating. I decided to go on a Thursday which they have a special of "Ladies drink free from 8p-10p" which is their classic house margarita which is not bad. The catch is you need to order something to get the offer. I ordered the chicken burrito. It was good but I had better and more for the price (wynwood prices). They do not offer any salsa or hot sauce and you will need to ask the server, which is extra. The waitress, Julianna, was very sassy. I could barely hear her talk since she had her mask covering her mouth only and with the music playing (btw they have a great variety of Spanish music playing from Salsa to Mexican to Reggaeton). There is a 20% tip added already which, in my opinion, is not fair. The service was not great. I would rather go elsewhere than here. Coyo Taco is probably better.
google avatar

Heaven H.

Yelp
I really hate leaving bad reviews but this place is definitely deserving of one. I think of it as a bar that happens to serve food because the music is so loud you really can't do anything else. It was absolutely empty on a Thursday night during spring break which probably tells you something. The food was actually really good but it did come with a side of food poisoning so honestly not that good. I ordered a mangonada margarita for $13.50 but because of the loud bass thumping in everyone's head the waitress heard pina colada. She did rectify this and bring me the correct drink but it wasn't until I got home and saw the receipt I realized I was charged $17 for the pina colada! The waitress actually drank the pina colada I sent back so I paid extra for essentially nothing. The entire wait staff was taking shots after shots and completely inept at doing their jobs. If you're coming here for a hype party night then it's probably great, but if you want good food that's not going to make you throw up, good service, or not to be overcharged, keep looking!! Too bad no one there knows how to run a business or proper food safety because I would actually return had it not been for this experience.
google avatar

Stephanie W.

Yelp
A friend recommended this place and decided to try it out. I ended up ordering the al pastor tacos and a passionfruit margarita which were honestly both very good. We had also ordered the shredded corn which lacked a bit in flavor but it was okay. Guac was pretty good though. Service wise, the server was chatting in the corner most of the time and didnt seem to give us much attention. Overall, id recommend to come and try the tacos and guac but i wouldnt expect too much in terms of service

Yelp
Tacos, drinks and vibes are all amazing over at La Tiendita Taqueria. I love how approachable this spot is! Located in the heart of Wynwood, it's one of those spots where you can just walk-by it and end up drinking one of their delicious avo-margaritas! The music is lively, and the service is always great. I love their shrimp tacos, and guacamole! I love the decor and overall ambiance of the spot! It's definitely a great spot to dine-in over the weekend a enjoy some good vibes!
google avatar

Angie L.

Yelp
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the two (2) mini tacos, that was overly priced, of course after eating the small tacos I ordered a chicken quesadilla cause obviously I was still hungry. I also had two drinks that is not pictured for $14 each. The food was just okay. They also add an extra 20% service fee to your check.
google avatar

Yelp
Price : $$ Vibe : indoor / outdoor seating ! Super cute spot and it is great for late night eats! We went around 12 :30-1 am And the kitchen was still open for Tacos! I would have given the place 4 stars but our food was cold! Everything was cold and I feel that the guacamole serving was very skimpy! I loved the watermelon mezcal Drink! It was everything. I will try this place again and hope our Food isn't cold next time. We asked the waiter if we could get the tacos made again fresh and her response was " the kitchen is closed". Hopefully next visit our service would Be better!

Yelp
The best tacos and burrito ive Ever had by far. The service and ambiance was also good. Will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
My friend and I stopped by for Taco Tuesday to check this place out! We started with the mango and spicy margaritas and two orders of the birria tacos. I enjoyed my spicy margarita, it wasn't as spicy as I like it but it wasn't bad. The birria tacos were also super tasty and loaded with cheese, yum! We also ordered the pineapple margarita, carne asada burrito, hard shell tacos, guacamole, and elote. I recommend the elote and the hard shell tacos both were loaded and delicious! I appreciate the thin shell! Our server was Fernando, he was very nice and personable. He made great conversation. He also told us about upcoming events including ladies night! I also appreciate the order window for take out!

Yelp
This was my first time going to La Tiendita in Wynwood. When you walk up the establishment you can't help but notice all the nice drawing and decorations the place has. (The shifting Frida digital photos is my favorite!) I like the vibe of the place and inside the place it's so much cuter! There's even a back section that looks like a club area. I will say there is a HUGE communication disconnect amongst the staff. I mention to the hostess I'm there for a Yelp event she looked confused and asked another one if they knew. We were seated and a waitress comes by to take our order. She too was a bit confused so I had to show her my email to give her a clue of what I was talking about. She then went and got some one else that knew about the Yelp event. They brought out two birria tacos and two margarita's. The birria tacos were very delicious. The brisket meat was tender and juicy and their house tortillas were good. The margarita's were ok, maybe we got a bad batch because you could hardly taste any alcohol in it. After we ate the two birria tacos we figured we can try a few more items from their menu since the birria tacos tasted so good. We then ordered the elote desgranado. This is one item that I love to eat but I was highly disappointed with theirs. This should be called queso fresco with some corn. Elote is all about the corn and this one needed more of it. I didn't taste the jalapeño or white truffle oil in it either. The tacos al pastor were delicious and had great flavor to them but needed a little more meat inside the tacos. Same can be said about the carnitas burrito. It was pretty much all rice and and everything else and very little meat inside of it which is disappointing because their meats have great flavor! The one item that we ordered that was very good is their churros! The churros were crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. It's served with strawberry ice cream, some sliced fresh strawberries on a bed of dulce de leche. For the service we got and given the fact that we did order more food to try them out and support a local business, I think a 20% tip was too much. I would have fine with an 18% tip instead. I will say the tables were wiped down frequently and they'd come by to pick up plates and anything off your table. Sadly, I never got the cool Yelp Collectable that was mentioned we'd get with our visit. This is why it's so important to make sure that staff members are fully aware of events like these. Oh well.... some other time.

Yelp
Make sure to ask for your receipt and look at it. This restaurant charge for everything they can charge We had 1 Barria Taco's ( 2 minI tacos) with 1 extra mini taco, cheese corn Salsa with chips( $2.50 for tips alone) 2 drinks and the bill was over $80. with the automatic 20% tip. whatever we had was not good. Tourist BEWARE. CHECK YOUR BILL!!
google avatar

Stephanie G.

Yelp
The food was not good. Cold and they charged me for an appetizer & chips to eat with the appetizer they tried to charge me a 20% gratuity fee in my bill and then asked for a tip on top. My entire order was 1 appetizer of corn, 2 margaritas, 1 order of birria tacos and the bill was $80. RIDICULOUS. Bad food. Bad service. NEVER STOP HERE. Birria TacoElote Desgranado

Yelp
This place is great! This is a favorite lunch spot in Wynwood. I usually get their chicken quesadillas as its the perfect portion size, fresh and delicious! Will continue coming here and trying more items on their menu!

Yelp
Absolutely terrible. You seriously couldn't pay me to eat there again. The chips and guac are $12. Guac is terrible, lacks lime, salt, jalapeños, and onions. The avocados weren't even properly mashed. The carne asada burrito had 4 small pieces of carne asada. If it would have been a different time, I would have thrown that burrito to the chef and asked them to make it again. Flavorless for the most part and small. 20% service fee tip added automatically. Worst service ever. Blonde server was horrible, rude, and just plain bad energy. The atmosphere is negative and crappy. The only positive part about our visit was the nice short young hispanic man who asked us if everything was okay. He was so nice and courteous that I forgot about everything that was so terrible about the restaurant. People, save yourself the time and money and go to Bodega if you want a taco bar thing. This place absolutely sucks!!!!

Yelp
I honestly did not have high expectations for La Tiendita based off some of the reviews on here, but they really proved me wrong. I had a great time with good service! Our server was very attentive and polite and the manager even came up to us twice to make sure everything was going as should! I was very pleased that it went so well! The food and drinks were delicious! I had never had birria tacos and have been dying to try them and they were very, very good. I also had the chicken quesadillas, which were yummy. The sauce they have on top makes them so much better! To end we had the churros, which were probably some of the best I've ever had. They were AMAZING! Overall my experience at La Tiendita was a very pleasurable one. The actual place itself is also very cute, makes you feel like you're in Mexico! I will be back soon!

Yelp
We had a nice lunch today - the birria tacos with one classic and one mango margarita. It was good to sit outside, especially since the inside music was way too loud. Service, Hernan, was good and quick. The drinks came first, followed by the tacos. Here's what we thought - the tacos were stuffed, lots of meat and gooey cheese. Really tasty, but with no bite - I wanted some spice or even cumin. I recommend that they use 2 corn tortillas. Had we sat and talked, I'm sure the tortillas would have become soggy quickly. The drinks - well - again tasty, but the mango margarita tasted like it was made with a child's mango juice box. We'd go back for the tacos, not the drinks.

Yelp
This was my first time having birria tacos and I'm glad I had a chance to experience it at La Tiendita! They're located in Wynwood, and very easy to get to on foot. There's street parking, but it is a pain. I was seated outside and my server was super nice! There is happy hour featuring margs during the weekday. I had elote and birria, and every was very flavorful. My food was brought out quickly, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Yelp
Yelp
best birria tacos ever!!!!! Omg they were so good!! I am so happy i discovered this place, it feels super authentic! Also tried their tacos al pastor and were pretty good too. Came here on a saturday night and they had live music! Service was pretty fast and prices are ok so totally recommend! They also have a "club" in the back you can go dance after

Yelp
I love this taco spot in wynwood. The Al pastor burrito is hands down my favorite burrito and has become a go-to. I have also ordered the nachos, elotes, and guac - all decent but nothing special (the burrito is special). I have also noticed that I have ordered the burrito for lunch a handful of times, and it seems to be better than when I have ordered it during dinner time. The chicken seems to be fresher and less chewy earlier in the day

Yelp
$12 for 2 tiny little tacos that are smaller than my palms and that aren't even that flavorful. I make better tacos at home! They forgot to bring something as basic as water with ice. And when they brought the water finally when we were ready to pay, they forgot the ice. Their margaritas w. A beer turned into it are like $25+. I can't imagine that they get any locals here and plus there are way better taco spots in Wynwood. I'd rather just go around the corner to Uchi and get two premium martinis! NEXT!

Yelp
We were celebrating a birthday here. Overall a pretty fun place with loud music and food for decent prices right in the heart of Wynwood. Their tacos are good but tortillas can be done better, they fall apart pretty easy. Drinks were good, it has all Mexican classics and some alternatives too.

Yelp
First of all why would you put 2x1 ALL DAY and then tell me it was until 10 pm? makes no sense. Just put until 10 pm on the advertisement. Second, service was poor. Waitress wasn't even around most of the time and we had to literally go find her to get our check.
