A Beloved Taco Spot Lands in a Virginia Brewery — And More November Openings Around D.C. - Eater DC

"The excellent birria goat tacos and chicken tinga from popular Virginia taqueria La Tingeria now have a permanent home at Port City’s 13-year-old brewery. The popular Mexican chain started as a taco truck in 2013 and saw incredible growth during the pandemic when chef David Peña started selling halal meat options for the Northern Virginia Muslim community. The new taco spot serves specialties you can’t get at the Falls Church and Spotsylvania locations, including lamb burger sliders and Sonoran hot dogs wrapped up in halal beef bacon. where do I start? I am so passionate about this restaurant. You guys don’t even get the half of it. I love it so so so so so so much. One of the best places in the DMV. If you don’t go here for your quesadillas, tacos, churros, and everything on their menu. Then I don’t know what you’re doing. On top of that, they have great service, friendly staff, great atmosphere. Everything is just 10 out of 10. The most underrated place in VA. 10000/10 tell all your friends and family about this place, for great prices, amazing food and a great atmosphere. They also have multiple locations all over Virginia. So you guys have no excuse.

David and his team serves the best tacos,I would say in the northeast. The Birria beef and Birria goat are a must try. The Port city in your location it’s such a great area where you can come eat your tacos and grab a drink if you like. Oh and two dollar tacos from 11 to 4 on Tuesday. can you say taco Tuesday?

I used to always drive a while to the Falls Church location, but now that they opened this place, which I am so glad about! I will be visiting everyday. From the kind owner to the amazing food this place deserves nothing but the DMVs support!
