"Thanks to a hot tip from Mike Pak who runs the @koreatown Instagram, we recently checked out this new late-night tofu spot on Vermont Blvd., and loved every aspect of our meal. For starters, there’s parking. Secondly, there’s parking. Third—and most importantly—the food was delicious. The menu isn’t much different than other popular tofu spots in the neighborhood (we’re looking at you, BCD), but the quality is higher. There are 10 or so different stews on the menu, ranging from Korean tripe to ham and sausage, but know that each one comes with the same perfectly soft tofu that hits the spot whether you’re on a solo lunch run or it’s 1:30am and you just stumbled out of Go Pocha next door. The hot stone bibimbap with nicely crisp rice on the bottom should also make it on your table." - Brant Cox

We came here for the dinner after a show. Such a nice and clean place. The waitress was super sweet and friendly. Took care of us all the time. The menu is great. Easy to make the decisions. We had the tofu soup with pork and also the spicy beef soup. Both very good. Highly recommend the tofu soup. Silky and full flavoured. Just wish the portion of banchans was a little more. Definitely come back again!

New favorite soon tofu restaurant in K town. Easy to get table, food delicious, not fancy but if you looking for good korean food this is it! I recommend it.

So many things wrong with this business. Waited over an hour for food, after having to remind them three times. They prioritized take out orders over actual dine in customers waiting for their food. After multiple tables including ours complained about the hour long wait, they still continued to take on more take out orders when they clearly didn’t have the capacity to do so. When the food came we were missing one persons order. Instead of prioritizing our last item on the menu to ensure everyone at our table could eat, they served food to other tables who came after us? One person had to wait an additional 15 minutes for her food, while the rest of the table finished eating. The worst part was that the tofu soup was terrible, it was watered down. Overall not a great restaurant, I wouldn’t waste your time here.

La Tofu House is a Korean restaurant that specializes in tofu-based dishes. Overall, my experience dining at La Tofu House was very positive. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and welcoming, with traditional Korean decor and warm lighting. The staff were friendly and attentive, and were happy to answer any questions about the menu.

Like many places in a strip mall, this restaurant looks very unassuming from the outside, but the food was superb. I went out with several friends, and one of them wanted to split two dishes with me which is a great way to vary it up. We got the bulgogi bibimbap and galbi which were both incredibly tasty. I’m a fan of slight char on grilled meats, and the cook did a great job with just the right amount. I would come back in a heartbeat.

I feel like this spot is slept on! Been here almost 10x. First the side dishes are really good. Fresh and flavorful. They have the fried fish and spicy squid. Iykyk... The portions are huge. I get the soon tofu and side dish, but the side is like a full meal. The staff are so nice all the time and service is fast. The place is clean, cool, and parking is never an issue.

I like LA Tofu House’s soup broth more, it has more complexity and is well seasoned. A lot of friends love BCD because it’s open late but so is this spot and I think this place has better flavor.

Hello hidden gem!! This spot is clean. We felt safe with the kind security outside. It was past 2 am and their food was perfect after LAX! So generous + delicious. This is the kind of place you’re so happy to accidentally find + will remember to go to every chance. The staff checked on us very kindly and made us feel very welcome. Thank you for a perfect experience!!
