"If the concept — a country-house hotel in a region known for extraordinary food and wine — is simple enough, it would be difficult to reproduce the care with which La Villa’s proprietors have crafted the experience, from the meticulous restoration of the historical elements to the judicious modern interventions." - MICHELIN Guide

We had the most beautiful and magical wedding for our daughter at La Villa Hotel in May. I cannot recommend this hotel enough as a place to have your wedding! The property itself with its hundreds of flowers, the staff, the food, and the spacious rooms was beyond our expectations! Everything about the property was amazing and wonderful.|Luna, Jemma and Nicola were absolutely fantastic to work with. Our wedding was 2 and 1/2 days of amazing parties, rehearsals, meals, the breathtaking wedding and the most fun reception! They coordinated everything for us and handled all of the details! The wedding was flawless. If you have your wedding here at this stunning hotel, you will not regret it.

Tucked away in the Monferatto wine area of Piedmont you'll find this beautiful La Villa hotel. A historic villa beautifully restored, with modern, spacious and comfortable rooms adorned with antiques. Beds are very nice and comfortable. You'll need a car to get around as it's not walkable to restaurants, but with a car its close to wineries, restaurants and beautiful winding drives through the vineyards and villages. Nicola, the owner was available each day and provided great advice for tasting wine and things to see. Front desk staff, who also managed breakfast were wonderful. The property is well-maintained with many beautiful spaces to relax. Views from this property are amazing. We had dinner one night at the hotel. Food was wonderful, but limited menu (changes daily) and rather expensive in my opinion to dine there more than once. As you would expect, they had a large wine list.

Fantastic stay with friends at this very special hotel . Recently spent 2 nights at this hotel & we were all discussing by the end of our stay how we could persuade one of our kids to get married here ! They can accommodate around 40 guests . Eating outside in their courtyard was magical , long tables , fairy lights , fantastic food & wine . Highly recommend the local red wine Nizza. We met the charming owner and you can tell this hotel has been a labour of love . However , apart from the fabulous pool , terraces and massages , this place is extra special because of its staff. It felt like a family, these were employees that were valued and it shone through. Can’t wait to return .

Amazing pool, exquisitely decorated and comfy rooms and decent air conditioning (vital in warm summer). Delicious and generous breakfast included in rate. Exceeded our expectations but be aware that the property is sometimes taken over by weddings.

The La Villa Hotel was the best stay of any place we have ever been. From the amazing rooms with views, clean and comfortable, to the hospitality of the owners and staff, to the incredible wine and food. We can't say enough about how much we loved this place. They go to any lengths to ensure you have a great stay and experience in Piedmont. It's a wonderful location with beautiful gardens, pool, spa, views of the Alps and surrounding vineyards. Family owned and personal touches that make it an unforgettable experience. Truly wonderful!

No words for how perfect this place was… our sister’s wedding and it was so perfect. Beyond perfect! Every detail was accounted for and the owner was super involved in every aspect. We feel so blessed to have been able to stay at this establishment and incredibly grateful to all the staff who worked tirelessly to accommodate any and every possible need from a rather large Persian family and wedding- haha!

We have just returned from 3 night weekend at La Villa Hotel celebrating my nephews wedding, and I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel.|The location, the quality of the accommodation, the attention to detail in every respect, and the warmth and friendliness of the staff made the whole occasion very special indeed. My 2 year old granddaughter really didn’t want to leave, and would have happily stayed by the pool for the rest of the summer!|I wasn’t familiar with this part of Italy before our visit, but I will most certainly be returning to this very special place.

La Villa is our happy place, it's a little part of heaven! Nicola, Gemma, Morgana & the team are amazing. We love coming back here & are never ready to leave at the end of our holiday.

Yelp
Heaven! I'm not a religious person, but as we ate an immaculate meal with a perfectly paired wine at a table couched in flowers every color of the rainbow, overlooking the rolling hills of vines with the snowy peaks of the Alps in the background, beneath a purple-pink sunset, it did cross my mind that we might be dead. Nicola and the staff have crafted a masterful experience for guests from top to bottom. The attention to detail and quality, their tireless efforts on your behalf, the seamless beauty and charm of the property and rooms...it's all too much. My wife and I looked at each other as we were leaving and agreed being there was one of the highlights of our life.

Yelp
We found this hotel accidentally and couldn't have been more pleased. The proprietors are lovely people and the staff attentive and competent. The villa is in a very pretty spot, the pool is nice and we went for some beautiful runs in the morning. There is a gym filled with some older equipment. We were happy to opt for the hilly runs instead. I had a great relaxing massage there too. I will definitely return!!!

Yelp
This review won't do our experience justice, no matter how hard we try. Nicola and Chris, the owners and operators of La Villa, helped give us the wedding of our dreams this past September. Our gratitude knows no depths. Highlights: Hospitality: Chris and Nicola are funny, warm, down-to-earth, responsive, thoughtful, and -- most importantly -- experts at their craft. They are relentlessly focused on quality service -- from an excellent breakfast service and incredible wine pairings with dinner, to helping coordinate activities off the property -- not a beat is missed. Their team is family to them (many of them have been around since the early days of La Villa!), and every single person is focused on ensuring that La Villa guests feel valued, appreciated, and set up to have fun. Now, compound that over five days and 100 attendees -- and still not a beat was missed. Planning: Nicola knows how to get things done. We were planning our wedding from New York City, not knowing the language or the vendors. We'd give Nicola some high-level ideas and thoughts over Skype, and then she'd masterfully turn them into a stunning reality (and even make them better, in many cases). From tracking down sunflowers outside of sunflower season for our rehearsal dinner, and constructing a chuppah for our ceremony, no detail was missed. As a bride planning a wedding from so far away, knowing that you're in capable hands is critically important for everyone's stress level :) I trusted Nicola implicitly, and she delivered -- and then some. (One of my favorite moments was walking into the reception after the ceremony -- I hadn't yet seen the tablescape and was literally jaw-dropped at how Nicola and her team had perfectly transformed the space, beyond my wildest expectations.) Involvement: Nicola and Chris treated our wedding as if it were their own. They were there every single second, answering questions, carefully directing the flow, comfortably mingling with guests. The amount of responsibility they felt for the entire weekend was deeply comforting to us -- and, I have to imagine, exhausting for them. Before the ceremony kicked off, Nicola noticed my husband was perhaps a little anxious (compared to my room of bridesmaids, where we were laughing and drinking mimosas and playing board games). Despite needing to set up for the ceremony, cocktail hour, AND reception, she took time to bring him and his groomsmen a shot of whiskey to settle down. These little moments are among my favorite to remember. Property: The property is stunning, and the rooms are incredibly comfortable. It's a shame there's so much to do and see in the area -- you never want to leave La Villa! Food: You can't talk about Piedmont without talking about food. Chef Ian is a magician. Whether it's a meal for two, 20, or 100, the food is thoughtfully constructed and masterfully executed. Our favorites include: frito misto, chocolate souffle, and agnolotti. And our Friday night pizza party was a total hit with all of our guests -- incredible pizzas, cooked outside at the pizza oven, and served hot. But my favorite? The cheese board of my dreams at the reception. Value: Chris and Nicola helped us stay on-budget without cutting corners or making sacrifices. We ate well, we drank well, we were able to transform the space with the decorative details we wanted. We were able to host the wedding of our dreams -- five days of events! -- at a shockingly reasonable price. Chris and Nicola, we can't thank you enough for being alongside us during the best weekend of our lives. We are forever grateful. Like it or not, you're family to us now. We can't wait to come back and visit again soon. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Yelp
Spectacular, beautiful, delicious al fresco dining. We loved everything about our stay and this property. Our room was #6 (the 'small' one) but was still clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend staying here!!
