My go-to Italian restaurant in the neighborhood! The staff is great, the food is delicious and leaves you wanting more! Love the onion bread, the calamari and the pasta dishes!

I've been eating at la villa for nearly a decade. My absolute favorite thing to order is the fried mozzarella ($14) and the sauce is never enough so I always get an extra side ($2.50). $18 total after tax. Super expensive for essentially fried cheese, but super good, which is why I've never complained and simply just paid the price all these years. Unfortunately the quality has significantly decreased (something I've definitely noticed over time). Last night was the final straw for me. I ordered some for takeout last night and was heavily disappointed with what I've received. I received 6 pieces, 2 of which where the size of a chicken nugget, and they were all thin. All breading and little to no cheese. The quality has significantly decreased. I used to get 7 pieces double size of what I've been receiving lately and for less money. I know there's inflation everywhere but to raise the price and provide pretty much half the quality is not ok.

Best Pizza in the Brooklyn area. 💯Always the food is very delicious with fresh ingredients. Staff is very friendly and attentive to details. They are one my favorite list from long time.💜

I went to this place with my son because he wanted baked clams and they didn’t have any so we ordered other Appetizer And salad they didn’t even have Italian dressing I ordered a calzone and they told me they wouldn’t give me sauce unless I pay for it very disappointing at this place never again

Meatballs were amazing, balanced, moist and cooked through. Pizza was crispy and had great ingredients. Overall a fantastic meal. Will keep coming back.

The food is always fresh and the staff is quite knowledgeable. I wasn't sure what to purchase, so the owner didn't hesitate to help me choose. Took one bite of their food, we got a winner! My advice is to make sure your stomach remains empty upon arrival, for which you will want to try everything. Especially, their deserts. I guarantee you will return with good friends for a get-together.

We have been coming to La Villa since it has been opened. The food and service always great! They came around many times to refill our glasses and refilled our bread basket

The food is amazing here. I at least order three times a week every holiday. We do takeout from La Villa. My favorite thing in the world is a rice bowl from here. I can eat it every single day. I recommend ordering and dining here. I just wish they were open later, because I would order twice a day then.

Pasta seemed undercooked and hard. Asked for organic brewed iced tea & instead the waiter brought Arizona. As we were telling him our order he was in a rush to leave our table. It took multiple times that we had to ask for tea and the check, waiter kept giving attitude and seemed like he didn't want to serve us. Overall disappointed and should've just went with the 3.7 ratings that I saw before coming. Don't think I'll be coming again, overpriced as well. We came home (3 hours after we ate and my husband started feeling dizzy and nauseas after the penne La vodka. Food poisoning probably- really disappointed in the service of the waiter that we had. Low quality service. Took a while to ask for tea and the waiter kept passing our table pretending like he didn't see us. But then he has time to stand there and wait for the tip! Not coming again and do not recommend this place

DO NOT COME TO THIS LAVILLA! So I'm going to start off by saying I'm a regular La villa customer at the park slope location. However, I was closer to the mill basin location so I decided to try it out. I order a chicken caesar wrap for pickup. I get home and my partner and I start eating,keep in mind we have a peanut allergy. We both start having a reaction and we're questioning whether it might have nuts in the wrap which we've ordered before and it never did. So I call la villa and ask, they casually say oh yea we cook with peanut oil. My heart literally drops and I ask the guy on the phone why they dont have that on their menu its very dangerous not too. He goes ooo we have it on the menu in store but not online sorry about that. I literally explode on the phone because it is the most careless thing someone has ever said to me in customer service. He goes on to explain that apparently customers picking up are supposed to call in advance to let them know of any allergies. Which it does not say ANYWHERE on the website. He's like ooo yea sorry about that again if you want you can leave your number for the manager and he'll call you back. Never in my 10 plus years of going to la villa have i experienced such poor careless management. Extremely horrible experience and left such a bad taste in my mouth.

How someone can take a neighborhood gem and completely destroy it is beyond me! I just received my delivery (Zucchini deep dish) only item that's still good at that place. My pizza was RAW have you ever had Raw dough ? You don't have to even dig for it, you can see it the second you open up the box. So they placed this inedible pie in a box, looked at the Raw dough and said ah who cares ! Biggest fu to the client (me) I picked the Raw Zucchini off the dough and paid $35 for that. Pissed is an understatement how careless the establishment owners have become to not over see what food is being put out to the public. Clearly I won't be returning or ordering again (this wasn't my first time having an awful food experience but that time I thought maybe it was just an off day and now I realize every day is an off day !) The delivery guy was very nice though happy New years

I have been a loyal patron of La Villa on Ave U for over 30 years, drawn back time and again by their delicious food and usually fantastic service. However, my recent visit left much to be desired. The waiter/busboy Chris, displayed unacceptable behavior, being rude and unprofessional to the point where I felt compelled to leave before ordering a meal. Despite requesting to speak with a manager, my concerns were not addressed as no one came out to address the issue. It's disheartening that the actions of one staff member, like Chris, can tarnish the reputation of an otherwise great establishment. I hope the management takes steps to ensure such incidents are addressed promptly to maintain the quality of their service.

Being celiac, gluten-free is a tough one. However, for 25+ Years, they did deliver several times a week. Now, I drool as my husband eats the pies less frequently. This past week, I just dove in! I so forgot the incredible taste of Original's Pizza! I have nothing but positive things to say. Adding toppings is yummy. They have added food (pizza-related) to their menu, which adds deliciousness you can't imagine. Thank you also for the quick delivery! If you have any?, give it a go! One issue: cash only!

My neighbor and I came here for a quick lunch. We decided to share a Margherita pizza ($16) and chicken parm ($25). I thought the pizza was tasty and delicious but, it tasted like it need a bit more seasoning. The chicken parm was tasty but, even better when I added extra cheese. I felt like the sauce used on both the parm and pizza to be a bit bland and need a bit more spices/kick. The staff here was terrible. They charged for things that we never ordered and rarely checked in on us. I felt that they looked at us and made a snap judgment and decided that they could treat us like crap. I noticed they didn't bring us any bread for our pasta like other tables got. I had to follow up for our drinks we did order. Isn't it standard to bring water for each table when a guest sits down? We had to flag someone to get water when our ordered beverages didn't show up. Personally, I thought the food was tasty but, the quality and taste doesn't match the prices. I mean $25 for a plate of chicken parm that was mediocre at best plus sub-par service, it's an easy pass.

Went here today for a birthday lunch with friends. My first time, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the meatball parmigiana, which was absolutely delicious; full of homemade Italian flavor. The portion was generous enough to take home. My friends had the pasta primavera, and a margherita pizza that they raved about. Of course this being a birthday, we made sure to share an Apple Brown Betty with ice cream for dessert. The place was busy, and very family friendly; nice to see. Very pleasant, and our server, Nikita, was attentive and very helpful and nice. No doubt now that I know about it, I'm definitely coming back.

Pretty expansive menu. Local appeal for sure as I'm sure we were the only out of towners. Wanted a spot off the ridiculous traffic headed to JFK for a good bite to eat. Three of us settled on a large pie, calamari arrabbiata and a Caesar salad. And there's nothing left....all was great. The focaccia they brought out before hand was also great. Crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. We're stuffed to say the least. I'm a small shopping center but non stop traffic coming in for carry out and most of the patrons knowing each other. Staff was excellent. Definitely recommend.

The texture of the crust, everything! It was a small thin crust from a wood oven I'm big on customer service and our waiter was so sweet. The only thing missing was milk for people who can't or don't want regular. I really wanted a cappuccino but I can't have whole milk or I'd be screwed. And it's weird because cheese and icecream don't bother me at all ‍ I had just a shot of expresso which came in such a cute set. And for the dessert we split the affogato. The icecream melted too quickly, so I drank it but let me tell y'all the taste was perfect! I would 110% come back for the pizza! And definitely to try other things on the menu. Definitely recommend

I can't understand how people hype this place still. Just had it last night after a long break and was quickly reminded why I should stick to Gino's, La Casa Bella or Brooklyn Roots if you want authentic food. if you like paying overprice for average "Italian food" then go ahead this is place for you.

Great menu... desserts are Ok. Had pizza, veal Milanese which was wonderful. The chicken was amazing too. Definitely coming back

$4.75 for a cheese slice?? More expensive then any of the to 10 famous pizzas in New York. How do they get away with it? Never again for me.

Wow, my first restaurant experience in Brooklyn - so great. Walking in, the wonderful smells hit you in the face and you know you're about to throw down some good Italian. The service was spot on. The food was amazing. The Caesar salad was perfect. The Italian Mac and cheese was absolutely everything. I really enjoyed the pizza as well. Ended it all with a cappuccino. Absolutely no complaints.

Food is delicious, a bit pricey. No more free soda refills. Other than that I like the food & pizza

I am giving this restaurant a 3.5 because I didn't like what I experienced last night being my birthday celebration. The food was very good and the server was very friendly and curtious. Everything was good until they brought the cake, which was a small piece of turamisu with 2 candles for a birthday of 2. It felt so cheap on the part of the restaurant and I felt very unpleasant about that due to being my birthday celebration. I don't want to celebrate another birthday due to that experience. My friend and I had to share spoons of cake and dinner being expensive. I don't recommend this place for birthday celebrations and I hope this restaurant improves that. In other places, they give you full deserts and coffee as a compliment. One small cake with 2 candles on the side for 2 people felt like a complete joke, and I want the manager and owners to know about this. Another thing about the restaurant is that it was freezing inside. Even though we were wearing sweaters, it was very cold. The restaurant needs to ease on the AC.

I've been coming here for 25 years. I use to live in this neighborhood so it was a regular go to. The baked ziti is fabulous and huge! The Siciliana pie is a favorite, made to perfection with the best cheese and tomato sauce is to live for! $20 for 8 slice's of amazing pizza is a deal. It's cool they offer outside seating but they need to clean a little maybe spray the tables not just wipe down with a wet towel. Also a broom is needed people are slobs these days. Definitely the Best pizza hands down. My daughter was disappointed they were out of tiramisu. I will definitely be back to my old neighborhood favorite pizza and other Italian yummies!

Place is terrible. It's so overpriced and food isn't even cooked there. It's pre made. The chicken taste like rubber. The veal taste like plastic. The manager is douche bag and won't listen to my argument. He acted like he the king of the land. Pizza was decent. 159 for pizza veal ck parm n salad n they charge for refill of soda. The waitress ask if we wanted we said yes not knowing we be charged. STAY AWAY

If I could give it a 0 I would. I don't know what happened to this place. I'm living in this area for over 30 years and La Villa was a family staple. Went yesterday for a late lunch ordered drinks, La Villa salad and plated chicken parm w rigatoni.. Waitress was rude and stuck up.. brought us the huge salad with the entrees!! We asked if they could return and hold our entrees till we enjoyed our salad.. she said @ We can't to that" you should have said you wanted your food in steps!! What!!!! Use your common sense as a waitress and what about pleasing the customer. She didn't check on us 1X ..., we needed grated cheese , water and some extra salad dressing ( we asked for balsamic and was given something that looked like pudding) ... had to hound the bus boy for things we needed. My husband remarked maybe tgey should have brought the coffee and dessert to the table too with the salad!!! Ridiculous!!!! We couldn't eat our food staring at our meal getting colder by the minute. Again had to hound someone to bring us supplies to go.. Never again!!! There are soo many places in the mill basin area that we don't have to settle for mediocre.. at a high price.. Being Italian .... The sauce was sub par.. like tomatoe sauce poured from the can and heated up. No taste.

Ordered the La Villa wrap cane with two pieces of chicken and some salad with cucumber and corn. The menu says mixed greens and roasted red peppers. Definitely not what I received. Also order Margureita Pizza. Absolutely tasteless! No EVOO! Just a small amount of sauce a piece of basil and a single slice of mozzarella! Not worth the money!! Order from Damore Pizza!

This will be my last time visiting this establishment. The food has always been mediocre but today it was just awful. The salad had many pieces of wilted lettuce and the chicken was over cooked and burnt. They supposedly ran out out of the focaccia but then served it to other tables. Our server was aloof and would disappear for long periods of time. Maybe the problem is that the staff are teenagers who are just not that interested.

Let me preface this review by stating my friends and I walked out after viewing the menu and almost ordering. First we wanted a bottle if wine. The waiter(who was so nice and patient) brought a small bottle of Barefoot. For $36. No No No. Ridiculous Then he told us we can go to the liquor store next door and buy a bottle. He would open it for a cork fee of $10. Can you say ripoff? Then we looked at the menu and a parmagian dish was $21. Came with nothing, nada, zero. If you want pasta an extra 7 bucks. How dare this restaurant take such advantage!! And this is a neighborhood place. Needless to say we went bye-bye. Never to return eva!!!

So I'm still here sipping on my bottle of prosecco and decided to leave my ratings will I'm feeling a bit wavy. I ordered calamari as an appetizer and it was too oily and soft... definitely wasn't fried long enough and placed in oil that was hot yet. My son got meatballs which he devoured (4 balls.... pause) lol I tasted a small piece and it was salty. For my main course I chose sauteed spinach with roasted. It was tasted but the spinach needed to be drained a bit more. Besides that I enjoyed it. My son had a pepperoni pan for himself and he was beyond happy. I wouldn't race back here to spend 90 + dollars including a small bottle of wine (not Including tip)

Food is great, the staff is rude. They limit you on bread. They claim it is in the oven for your entire meal. Could be a place I'd consider under new ownership

A no frills nice Italian restaurant serving tasty dishes and wood fire pizzas. It is a worthwhile trip to visit their branches in Mill Basin, Dyker Heights, Park Slope and Howard Beach locations if you're craving for pizzas, pastas, soups or salads. I do love their red sauce mainly because it tastes fresh and delicious. It doesn't give me a massive heartburn like other sauces from some good Italian restaurants that I've visited in the past. There are times when you have to wait 30mins to an hour just to get a table, it gets busier on Fri and weekends. Oh, I almost forgot to mention my favorite dessert. The honor goes to their homemade creamy and mouthwatering tiramisu. I will be dreaming about it tonight...yummy!

An institution in this part of Brooklyn. A modern take on Italian classics. Went with a buddy and loved this spot. A great wood fired oven greets you when you enter. Ate: Onion bread Lentil soup Grandma pizza There are nice booths and friendly folks though I thought it was a tad overpriced for the location- Hearty lentil soup and the onion focaccia is off the chain. if you live in Milll Basin or Bergen Beach this is your neighborhood joint.

Yet another place that doesn't check for vaccination cards. Maybe it's just my hood. Oh and while most wear a mask most don't including the guy making pizza! Customers also walk in not wearing a mask! The servers were supper nice and the pizza delicious though but I won't be back until the pandemic is over.

Amazing Italian restaurant! I live pretty close to La Villa so we stop by once in a while. Over the years, the quality of their food has not changed... it has remained absolutely amazing!! From the salads to the pizza to the pasta to the main courses there is nothing that I could even think to complain about. I usually am not a fan of tomato sauce (I know how not New York of me!!) but their tomato sauce is to die for! I also love the Alfredo sauce over tagliatelle pasta! Everything is freshly made and you feel like you're in grandmas kitchen! I also love how their bring out the wine in little pitches with a wine glass. Service is great and their delivery service is great as well. If you're in a mood for a great Italian meal, you found your spot!

They rejected my order from UberEats today. The only thing that I can think of that would cause it is the everything pizza, which you can put as many toppings on it as you want, well, I chose all of them. If you're not willing to do what you advertise, please don't bother. I will not try to eat here again.

I wish I could give it 4 star coz the stuff who works there are really nice people and they deserve it. Hard working people and they do their job I do visit this place often, since I do live close by... no more choices .... their food is good. Pizza is very tasty as well.. but they prices become ridiculous.. slice of regular pizza for 3.75$!? Kidding me? And it's not even a big slice .. I'm very disappointed because it was my place to go. But now with those prices I will rethink ....

Eating at La Villa is like eating in Italy! The food is delicious! For appetizer I had the fried calamari, which was perfectly battered and the marinara sauce was flavorful, pairing well. For Entree, I had the Gnocchi which must have been the biggest Gnocchi's I have ever seen and very good. For my drink, I had the Chianti which was smooth and flavorful. Portions are HUGE, so expect to be taking home left overs. The place is not too big and it gets very crowded, but it's worth the wait!

First off: Not much variety on the menu. I ordered shrimp Parmesan and the dish was actually insulting. I've never seen such small shrimp used in this classic Italian restaurant dish before. Plus, they had the nerve to butterfly them! Thin slivers of shrimp hiding in mounds of underwhelmIng breadcrumbs that were not cooked through in some parts. Save your money and go to New Corner Colandrea in Bay Ridge or Peppino in Bay Ridge/Park Slope....or any OTHER place!

My Italian restaurant in Brooklyn. Maybe in NYC. I always start with cold Chardonnay with their bread(onion is the best), and Caprese salad added with Arugula. I especially like them because I can taste the ingredients' true flavor. They use fresh vegetables, olive oil(just could tell). I was so happy to go back after a long break in Pandemic. I visited the different locations but the one on Ave U is the best(for me). My favorite dish is Primavera pasta with spaghetti(al dente).

So good. Even bigger portions than the Howard Beach location. Same great flavors. Love all the La Villa locations. Service is always fast. No complaints!

Cold food, a pick up which she said 20-25 minutes, ok get there smart person said o another 1o minutes, nothing go inside again 10 more minutes. Almost 55 min.now and its not hot.its just warm. And what i ordered should have been 60-65dollars 2 yrs ago was now $90. And warm. Should have just had it delivered . WTF!

I can only rate them on what food I have tried so far so this review is simply based on there pizza. The pizzeria/ restaurant is located inside of a mall so parking is not a problem. The food prices are a bit on the higher scale but there pizza is very much worth it. The Sicilians will cost approximately 3 dollars a slice and so will the regular slices, sicilians are better!! You bite into this hot pillow like textured slice and I'm pretty sure you enter pizza heaven.. The pizza itself is very soft and being a stickler for tomato sauce I usually go for the white slice but oddly there TOMATO SAUCE IS AWESOME. Its fresh, and very authentic and tasty. Definitely go there and grab a slice if you are in the neighborhood. With a lot of pizzerias in the area definitely choose quality over quantity and price. Service is professional quick and efficient. Will be headed back for a sit down dinner one day!!

this place advertises reasonable prices and they are false advertising. We ordered 6 baked clams, a salad with chicken and a veal parm entree that should've been 48 dollars according to their website and when we called to order, it was 68 and change. 68 dollars for an entree, a salad and 6 clams? What a joke.

La Villa always have great food. This is possibly my 5th or 6th time there. I've tried a few of their items. "LA VILLA" Fresh Pappardelle; Bolognese Fresh Pappardelle; Chicken Parm. Tonight I had the Spaghetti Vongole in the white wine clam sauce with baby clams. They were sold out of the mozzarella cheese sticks. :-( Over all this place have tasty food and will go back for more...the Pizza is delicious too. I'd prefer the thin crust pizza.

Tried the main menu today. Table bread- excellent focaccia flavors BR- one for guys and one for gals Parking- free lot Price- avg pizza joint Food Chik parm $20. Good size portion. Way too much sauce Pasta from a box. Over cooked. Horrible WIGB? Why?

Dear La Villa, Your food is great - really, I like it, and so does my family, BUT!!! WHY DO I HAVE TO WAIT FOREVER FOR MY FOOD!!??? Does matter what you order - a wrap, a pasta dish, or a sandwich - your minimum wait is 30 minutes plus. The longest wait is for the plain chicken and arugula wrap. It's so big, I usually split it with my sister. BUT!! We waited 40 minutes- why? The waiter told us it's because of the bread of the wrap is made to order. That's nice and all, but why can't you have these made in one shot for the day or something?! Ughhhhh! This place kills me. I can't understand why this place is packed any hour of the day; don't you guys wait as long for food as me?!? Until your timing improves, you're still only getting 3 stars from me. Love, Jaclyn

Awesome food and customer service. Never disappointed when eating here. Many options and quick for a bite. I'm moving and will miss this place. Sadly, these types of places are dieing, long live La Villa. It's underrated but maybe keep it tht way for us brooklynites.

Take out is good;/portions I feel are bigger in the restaurant. Keeping community restaurants in business is important to us. Fantastic salad, good ribs and chicken dinners

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! This is my go to place for good Italian food. Their bread basket alone is to die for. I love the rosemary or onion focaccia. I've actually never tired the pizza here because the pasta is too delicious for me to pass on! The baked ziti is one of my personal favs. It's LOADED with cheese (Im a huge cheese lover so that makes me super happy.) Definitely one of the best Italian places in Brooklyn.

Seamless pickup & amazing wraps and salad. The La Villa Wrap was the best wrap I've ever had and their Caesar dressing is a must have!
