A local couple directed us here while on a day trip. Best advice ever! I couldn't stop eating the bread and dip so I had a couple bites of my veal parm and had to take the rest home. It was still wonderful heated up. Thank you for the delicious meal and outstanding service!

Hostess,waiters,servers, fantastic. Party of 8 everyone enjoy themselves. Meals were all delicious and plenty of food to eat. Togo containers with soup and food wrapped, so no spills while taking home. My sister 65 birthday and the staff sang also. Great time.......

Dropped about $25 on the veal parm and a side of spaghetti. The veal was a bit tough, and the spaghetti leaned towards overcooked. Service was friendly but a tad slow. The place has a cozy, old-school vibe, which I appreciate. Maybe it was just an off night, but for the price, I expected a bit more. Might give it another shot down the line.

Because of my previous times here I decided to have our teams Xmas dinner here and believe me I was NOT disappointed, the service once again was outstanding. Teresa & Sam were extremely accommodating. The food was delicious and my team had a great time. Thank you Highly recommend it. The best Italian experience in Chicago! This was a big treat for my friends and family. The Ambience was beautiful, service was prompt, the owner Christine was so nice and sweet, she treats you feel like family. And the food was impeccable and flawless. This is the best place for parties. They handled our reunion perfectly. Great food. I would go there for any occasion or by myself for drinks. Plenty of safe parking

Great restaurant! Our Aunt took us here and it was amazing. Our waitress, Rose, was great and very helpful to the older crowd of folks at the restaurant. The food was amazing. My wife had the linguine pescatore which was full of bold flavor and highly recommended. I haven't had veal in a while so I got the veal francese and it was in a while delicious . I'm glad I chose that, the lemon flavor wasn't strong and it worked so well together with the white wine sauce. These came in great portion too. During lunch they just have the side portion open, but they have bigger areas for banquets and other big events. Highly recommend checking it out.

We hired La Villa to handle the catering for our engagement party. The ordering was easy and took almost no time (my preferred way to do things!). On the day of the party, they arrived on time, handled the set up perfectly, and best of all...the food was incredible. Everyone raved about it. The fried chicken, Italian beef sandwiches, and roasted turkey were fantastic. The marinated mushrooms were a big hit. The veggies and rice and potatoes were all great. The pasta dishes were perfect, the chicken fingers and meatballs were tasty. The other munchies and appetizers were terrific. And probably the biggest rave was the mushroom risotto. It was awesome! Delicious, well prepared, and professional. Our guests loved it. Our only problem...we ordered too much! But have no fear, my fiancée's college age daughter had a gathering with friends the next night...they happily scarfed down the leftovers. I highly recommend La Villa if you are thinking of having a caterer for your next party. We are completely pleased with the outcome!

Went here for a birthday recently and was an avid customer before, and boy does la villa still know how to cook good Italian food that hits the spot. Their focaccia bread is so soft and pairs well with an olive oil and Parmesan cheese dip. I ordered the Steak ala Villa and for the taste and portion size, $30 is worth it. The meat is very tender and juicy, and they do not hesitate to load on the sauce and mushrooms. The staff were very friendly and served the food relatively fast, and never failed to keep on refilling the table with more bread. The restaurant itself is dimly lit, giving it a jazzy ambience that would fit well for a party or a date night.

Hello All and Happy Holidays Tonight was a stop at an oldie and goodie. It's been a long time since I sat and dined here and they did not disappoint. Cocktails, appetizer, main course, and dessert perfection at its finest Started with calamari , minestrone soup , lasagna and cheese cake I didn't eat all day looking forward to this feast. A cool Chicago Italian spot. It charming and comfortable. Wendell runs a tight ship behind the bar and takes care of business. The food is good, stop in and enjoy yourself.

Food was delicious! They give you some bread to start and then we shared an entree (comes with soup and salad) and pizza. We had a lot of leftovers too! The pizza was delicious - will be back for more!

Delicious thin crust pizza! The sauce was tangy and plentiful, the toppings were fresh and delicious, especially the sausage! The biggest sausage on a pizza I've ever had! The crust was a bit thicker and tougher than necessary. Nevertheless, the pizza was overall amazing! I can't wait to go back!

Once great pizza, now be lucky to get what you ordered. Ordered half jalepenos on the pizza got the whole pizza with jalepenos, pretty hard to serve the kids this. Thank you very much for spending 54.00 dollars on shit my kids couldn't eat.

I'm not a fan of their onion rings, but their mozzarella sticks, pizza, lasagna, and shrimp DeJonghe are all winners for us.

Always consistent! very good food. Great vibe and a treat every time you go. Was the first place I ate when I moved to the neighborhood and if I ever get back to the neighborhood to visit, I always try to stop in for at least a drink and an appetizer at the bar. Old-school restaurant awesome.

Had a delicious seafood Alfredo this past weekend at When can you meet me at La Villa 3638 N Pulaski Rd, Chicago Highly recommend, great date night Ambiance.

Love getting pizza and wings here now my parents do when ever they come over they say let's order la villa tried this time one side Pep and the other side ground beef mushroom and jalapeño holy Mack roll was it amazing it's was like fourth July in my mouth lol good combo guys if you haven't had this pizza spot yet missing out and the staff are quick and responsive when you pick up I like that wanna make sure if you been taken care of highly recommend

First time at La Villa and I cannot wait to go back. We had the special appetizer of arancini - which was soooo good I could've ordered 5 more and just had that! But we had pizza - classic Chicago thin crust with sausage, onion and garlic. It was absolutely delicious! I took a tiramisu to go - it's homemade according to our server - and it didn't disappoint. We sat in the bar - the booth was a little snug, but the ambiance was great. Super old school feel - which is amazing in this day and age to find a restaurant like this - and even live music on the weekends. I can't wait to go back! PS: Free parking lot across the street, too! Can't beat it.

It's upsetting to see such a nice place have mean workers! I love La villa i think their food is fantastic and the ambiance is super cute and super clean and my best friend got married there, truly it's beautiful! But last night was our staff Christmas party and the bartender assigned to us was rose and legit kept yelling at everyone last night. She would yell that we couldn't order specific things, or that we couldn't get more more drinks at the moment, she even closed the bar EARLY when we paid for 3 hours and then told us to go away:/ it did ruin the Christmas vibe of the night we don't understand why she was so upset we were all nothing but respectful we just asked some questions and she didn't like it and even stomped her feet at us and walked away.

Best pizza in my life! My mom moved out of the city and still makes me buy her one on my way out of The city to visit her.

Pleasantly surprised to come and seriously enjoy not only the food and company but the atmosphere. Very Italian and so quaint. At first, we were told that our reservations weren't found. But when we let them know "who" made the reservation, all of a sudden they found the reservation. (he's highly respected) person in Chicago. I'm realizing that maybe this restaurant was trying to be a little funny. Okay ill let this slide, but I will make another reservation soon with some dignitaries and see how that goes. After all "restaurants never know" who is coming in, especially due to mask-wearing until seated. But I'll digress. I ordered a salad and it was quite fresh. And a side of pasta, and there's where I give them hoorahs: the sauce seemed to of been homemade and thick. Not the watery kind that many establishments put out and try to pass as homemade. This one was seriously not lacking any seasoning and was very thick. Oh, this is the way I like sauces and just like an Italian mama's kitchen, this was perfection! I need this marinara sauce bottled because as a patron of great sauces, this one matched my top 5! Great job and poor mama Celeste has no chance! Old school Italian restaurant with ample parking is great, the food is great, and the waitresses (is that still PC) are awesome. Come through and see for yourself, they don't play when it comes to food!

Tasty gluten free pizza and absolutely loaded with topping! The crust was thin, soft and chewy - not hard as a rock like some crappy gf pizzas. 10/10 would try again!

Terrific Italian food in a genuine family-style atmosphere (unlike Maggiano's for example). We had arranged for a large party of about 20. It was easy to do so and the manager was very helpful with menu choices, pricing, and other details. The day of the event the waitstaff were incredibly helpful and friendly, serving family style dishes. They have lots of events there it seems so you might see a high school graduation party in another room or some other celebrations.

The pizza here is quite good - the thin crust is a bit thicker than the traditional tavern style, and loaded with cheese. Very tasty. The wine list is limited but affordable. Good rye Manhattans. There is a parking lot and a few handicapped spaces in front, but the handicapped spaces aren't spaced out as they should be.

La Villa will always be so close to my heart as I fell in love with an Albany Park native and we had some very nice dinners there as a precursor to our eventual wedding reception happening in their La Strada event space! I have to say that the event planning there was perfection. I met alone with the coordinator, and she was willing to meet again with me and my husband to finalize details. They really do a fantastic job without an overwhelming price tag. On the day of our afternoon reception, everything was perfect. Sweet server Rosie seems to be the captain of the Strada room, and she was contacting us throughout the day to keep tabs on what was happening. Our reception was a few months after our small ceremony, so we really wanted an casual atmosphere with a classy vibe, and the La Strada space accomplished this with perfection. Note - they do have a larger banquet space that would accommodate a more upscale vibe for nighttime events. I cannot imagine a better space that would have complemented our vision to such perfection. We had La Villa dinner reservations for NYE this year and were seated in the Strada space, as they do use it for dining as well. It was fun to be back in that room and reflecting on our reception. What fully warmed our hearts...Rosie, who had been the rockstar at our reception, was our server, and she remembered us. She is a total sweetie, and I cannot say enough good about La Villa and the amazing team.

Old school, thin crust pizza is always fresh! Have been ordering from here for decades.

Got extra thin crust pizza for takeout and it was great. I hadn't had their pizza for 30+ years. Got a 2 lg pizza special. One pizza was double sausage and the other was mushroom and onion. Plenty of all the toppings. Asked to have it well done on top and it was perfectly done. When I ordered on the phone they said 30 minutes. I arrived almost 30 minutes on the dot and it was ready. Paid and was in and out in just a few minutes. Great experience. There are so many great pizza options in Chicago but I'll definitely go back to La Villa.

Well it's been since before COVID and la villa has never failed after. Anyways was dining here again with my mom since it's been awhile. Anyways I do support la Villa and I do suggest people to have either dining in experience or having their special occasions held at their banquet halls. I haven't had a chance to try their Pizza which is something I need to do next time but I always love their shrimp alfredo fettuccine

Had a great time at La Villa yesterday. I had lunch with my sisters, and we all had different dishes. They start you out with Foccacia bread and delicious warm Italian bread with a nice chew to it and a dish of olive oil, garlic, balsamic vinegar, and spices for dipping. It was very good. A lot of restaurants are charging for a house salad and fees for using your credit card, so my sister asked the server "does a salad come with the entree"? The server said certain entrees include both soup and salad and the chicken dishes includes both. Our soup choices were Minestrone or Chicken Rice, I ordered the Minestrone and my sisters ordered the Chicken Rice. My sister liked the Chicken Rice Soup so much that she ordered a quart of it to go. We tried each other's dishes and my sister said I wish I ordered what you ordered (Chicken Francese). One sister ordered Chicken Marsala the other sister ordered Chicken Parm and I ordered the Chicken Francese (lemon butter, white wine sauce). All entrees have a bed of Angel Hair Pasta, the menu says "over spaghetti" on some dishes but all of ours had Angel Hair. The Chicken Parm had two huge chicken breasts dwarfing the Angel Hair Pasta. One chicken breast is plenty for most people, take the other one home. My other sister said that the Chicken Marsala was just "OK". I thought my Chicken Francese was really good. The chicken was cooked to perfection. I ordered Tiramisu with three forks and coffee. The coffee was very good and fresh. The Tiramisu was smooth with lots of whipped cream but didn't have much of a liquor taste. La Ville charges a 3 1/2 pct credit card fee. Our server was Irena, she was very nice and willing to please which made our dining experience much more pleasurable.

We married here 32 years ago then back every five years or so. The food is still out of this world best Italian restaurant in Chicago by far I had the chicken à la Villa outstanding I had mine boneless my wife had chicken Vesuvio boneless and it comes with soup and salad also superb. It's nice I have an option with the chicken dishes if you want boneless or bone in. My Wife had a side of mostaccioli with marinara was very good. The staff is out of this world to do anything to help you Chris the owner very nice lady, she stop and make sure everybody is enjoying their meal even when she is at her busiest time she's always been like that the year that we've been going there. they just celebrated their 50 years in business. I think they can go another 50 years at least with the quality of their food, only getting better as years go by. If you like Italian food, old world with lots of flavor and lots of heart, this is the place for you.

Great pizza huge variety of Italian food cozy warm atmosphere, great location easy to get to near the highway off Pulaski and plenty of parking with their own lot even in the neighborhood if needed,. Food is awesome and well priced. A bar, and entertainment on weekends. Very old school. No one was threatened to be put into a car trunk, in exchange for this recommendation.

This place has been a staple in the area for many years for good reason. Great food, service and the owners are wonderful people. It's not just about the pizza (which is the best around) but everything on the menu is amazing.

I guess it's time to update my La Villa posting, since over the years I have enjoyed visits here for get-togethers with friends, birthday and New Years Eve dinners, and last but not least - our casual but classy afternoon wedding reception. The brasciole is still delicious, the pasta is very good, and the pizza is quite tasty no matter what toppings you have. The service is also spot on, so you really feel good about dining out and supporting a neighborhood restaurant. Cheers to La Villa!

Wonderful food. Relaxing ambience & great service! Hubby & I came in on a Thursday dinner time. We definitely wanted a pasta dish with seafood. I had special order of Angel hair pasta with grilled calamari. So good! Put some lemon juice on that & I was happy. Hubby had the Linguine Pescatore & he loved it. We have plans to come back! Dessert was delicious and pizza was pretty good, wings were very sauccccyy but a lil dry, honestly would order pizza again from here and try more desserts

7/29 If I could give this place a 10, I would. This is by far the best hospitable, attentive customer experience I have ever had. Fatima, the waitress was Excelente, also the hostess and staff. We ordered the popular Chicken Vesuvio, fried calamari and lasagna which were all large portions. It came with soup and salad, fresh french & focaccia bread plus crackers. Everything was superb. Pomegranate martini is a must. A place for family dinner, date night or celebration. A delightful place. Live entertainment.

Cheese ravioli This was good. It came with large pieces of 5 ravioli filled with cheese. I got mine will marinara sauce. Jalapeño poppers (with cream cheese) this was not on the menu but we asked when we called if they have any. This was good. Not spicy at all but tasted delish Pizza - la via special We got the medium and it had a soft crust with lots of cheese. It came we onions, green peppers, sausage, pepperoni and we sub olives for jalapeños. Cannoli This hit the spot. We got just one not knowing if it would be good but I'm glad we did because it was amazing. It has chocolate chip inside with pistachios on the ends. We will definitely be returning to this place for the pizza and cannoli!

My husband's family has been ordering pizza and foods from La Villa since I met my husband 14 yrs ago. But even before that, they have been a customer to La villa. Foods are good! And its closer to home. Very reliable place for a hungry stomach. :)

We came here for take out pizza so I can't review them on their dine in service, although when I picked up the pizza, they were very organized and quick to get my order. If you're dining in you enter through the front entrance on Pulaski. They have a special entrance for take out on Patterson. We ordered their X-Large sausage and an order of bruschetta. The pizza itself was phenomenal and one of the best thin crust in the city. The crust was perfect, it was very cheesy and it had plenty of tasty sausage. It also had the perfect amount of sauce and completed the rest of the pizza perfectly. A very filling pizza and wouldn't mind ordering it again. Their bruschetta was not the best bruschetta, but came at a very cheap price and probably wouldn't mind ordering it again. The tomatoes just didn't taste fresh. It came with seven pieces loaded with tomatoes. Next time I'll probably order garlic bread as well. Overall, a very great value. We all got full and had a lot of left overs.

This was our first restaurant experience at La Villa. My hub & I split the chicken parm dinner. He had the soup while I had the crispy, fresh salad with creamy garlic dressing. The chicken parm had too much breading, too much sauce, too much cheese and not enough chicken, altho shared. Our friends shared a ribeye which we will get next time. We will be back! Great place to dine with friends.

I ordered a large LA Villa pizza, told the girl to skip the pepperoni, ok so they instead put olives instead of mushrooms. I hate olives. I was so upset. Come on Olives instead of mushrooms. I need to call and complain to them. Who ordered olives? Not me. The pizza cost $25.00 and wasn't what I ordered. I kind of expect the mistake from Mc Donald's cause they always make mistakes.. always.

Moved from the south side to Portage Park and couldn't find pizza on par with my faves from back home until I found La Villa! Best pizza on the north side and it's always consistent. They also offer some interesting toppings, my favorite being zucchini. Delivery is really quick too, usually before the estimated time. Love this place so much!

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE OYSTERS ROCKEFELLER ONLY. First, I have enjoyed the food I have had from La Villa including the oysters rockefeller for some time. Service has been very good; including delivery. Unfortunately, it seems the preparation of the oysters has changed. They now smother the "oyster rockefeller" with mozzarella or similar cheese, which overwhelm and dominate the spinach and oyster experience. Sorry to say, I will no longer be ordering the "oyster quesadillas". Being different isn't always good.

Went for my first time ever and have been wanting to go forever. I was so happy with my service, the food (highly recommend the Chicken Ala Villa) and the ambiance. Plenty of parking and very affordable. Looking forward to go back.
