I come at least twice a month on Friday for Jazz Friday night at LACMA it's a great place to be on a Friday with your friends.

Give them a shot! We didn’t have high hopes because of the bad reviews, but the food was great! We decided to have a snack during our visit to the museum, and the Cali Burrito and Fries were both delicious and well-seasoned. Everything was fresh and prepared with care, including caramelized onions and flavorful salsa. Service was quick and food was tasty with plenty of vegetarian options. It all exceeded our expectations in the best way!

Having brunch in this casual place is amazing! People are friendly and kind, the atmosphere in the restaurant is the best. It's so curious where they save the silverware, It keep them clean:). I really had a very nice time here. For sure I will back soon.

Last Friday, I ordered a hot dog from a food truck. I left a tip as usual. When I got my order, it turned out the bun had mold on it! I returned the order and asked for a refund. The vendor called the manager and said they would refund the money. It's been 4 days now - no money, no apologies. Terrible food for a high price. Not recommended.

The cafe is closed. Google hasn’t been updated. They only have a small cold case with stale sandwiches and cold noodles and a food truck with fried food. I’m sure they can do better and invite small restaurants to open a pop up to serve real food. And it’s way too expensive for what they are serving.

Good tasting food. About $11 for a sandwich. $2.50 to add cheese, avocado etc. About $3.50 to add fries. Lemonade is pure sugar. Takes a while to receive your food and orders are sometimes incomplete, we had to ask for our fries. Salad bar looks great. Lots of good options and priced by the ounce. If I return I'll do the salad bar to get my food right and fast.

Poor management, food and service. Who could ask for less. Earlier this month made the near fatal error of ordering their pork banh mi sandwich. The pork was a SOLID SLAB OF FAT, with a few grains of meat in it. The service was appalling. My two friends were brought their sandwiches 10 minutes before mine. When I walked up to find out where the other food was, I was treated rudely. That's when I got the slab of pork fat - but unfortunately, I couldn't send it back after that much time and I didn't want to make a scene. Just because this restaurant is run by a museum, that doesn't mean it can get away with such a poorly managed restaurant and kitchen. And $9.00 (plus tax) for any beer in the name of art? Holy cow - I should cancel my membership for this affront, but I won't. Museum patrons just be forewarned of this overpriced and pretentious little rip-off of a cafe with a menu and ordering system which is guaranteed to confuse any first time customer who eats here.

Pretentious overpriced swill. The menu was barely comprehensible. The food was far too salty. No effort went into making it. Some noodles with a few bits of squid. Fried Brussels sprouts with bits of bacon. A 5-year-old could have cooked it. Portions too small. And to top it off, they short-changed me. They falsely use the Trip Advisor rating for the Museum for their restaurant. Beyond belief.

Yelp
My daughter had the kid's chicken strips with fries. The steps were cooked well, and were actual meat chunks, not processed like nuggets. The fries were crispy, and properly seasoned. She could only finish half, as the portion was quite generous for a kid's meal, especially given the price and location. I had the falafel sandwich. It was fried crispy, seasoned well, and the veggies tasted fresh. I was quite full after eating it. Service was fine, but it was a relatively slow day. I would recommend.

Yelp
My significant other ordered the smash burger and I ordered the chicken tenders. Quite mediocre food but to be expected of a tourist hotspot. The fries were way overly salted and the chicken tenders were simply standard. The smash burger couldn't even match up to a standard burger rather it just looked like a slider with a Hawaiian bread bun. The lack of inclusion of more ingredients and lack of flavor depth that could've matched up to its price point was apparent. It was devoured simply in a few bites. Very "smashed", eh? In fact, an elderly couple before me in line complained about their specific smash burger experience being lacking, due to the cafe's negligence of missing pickles and onions. Due to this mistake, the cafe gave them chips on the house. Despite this complaint, we decided to try it ourselves and wished we had followed their advice. Most of the food here isn't worth its price and would recommend going elsewhere for food. Ambiance was busy but lacked enough seating especially for bigger family groups. Lots of kids running around.
