"Thanks to loads of press and a swift global expansion in 2005 (there are now outposts in New York, London, Lebanon, Japan, Sweden, Hong Kong, Brazil, Los Angeles, and more), the Ladurée celadon green is almost as iconic as Tiffany blue or Hermès orange. It all started in 1862 at 16 rue Royale, when writer Louis Ernest Ladurée opened a pastry shop. Though macarons had been kicking around France since the sixteenth century, when Catherine de Medici introduced them from Italy, Ladurée’s grandson revolutionized the concept in 1930 by using a bit of ganache to create a macaron sandwich. Beyond sweets, Ladurée's dinner service is great, with a kid-friendly menu that adults can enjoy, too. Although the original Ladurée is a fixture on the Champs-Elysées, there are multiple locations throughout the city to enjoy. "

My daughter is a devoted fan of French macarons. So this time we reserved a table at Ladurée on the Champs-Élysées. You definitely have to book in advance before you go, because there’s usually a long line waiting. The space is beautiful, elegant, and spotless. The staff are gentle and friendly. The food was even better than I expected from a pastry-focused restaurant. The matcha latte was artfully prepared—unlike the machine-made, industrial-style matcha lattes. My daughter had a cheese-filled omelette roll, I had a Caesar salad, and my husband had mushrooms with chicken. Delicious.

A Glimmer of Parisian Grandeur on the Champs-Élysées Amidst the bustling grandeur of the Champs-Élysées, Ladurée's flagship salon continues to offer a delightful respite, a vibrant pastel jewel box that transcends mere retail. While the avenue itself can be a whirlwind of global commerce, stepping into Ladurée is to be transported to a softer, more indulgent Paris. The recent renovations have only enhanced its timeless appeal, with the refreshed interiors offering a charming blend of classic elegance and modern comfort. The delicate hues and ornate details still evoke the Belle Époque, yet the flow feels more inviting, more attuned to the leisurely pursuits of an afternoon tea or a relaxed lunch. And then, of course, there are the macarons. These diminutive confections, a hallmark of the house, remain as exquisite as ever. Each bite is a whisper of flavor — from the subtle floral notes of rose to the rich depth of salted caramel – encased in that inimitable crisp shell and yielding, tender interior. Beyond the famed macarons, the pastries are miniature works of art, almost too beautiful to consume, yet utterly irresistible. While some might consider Ladurée a pilgrimage for tourists, its enduring quality and the impeccable, attentive service suggest otherwise. It is a place where one can truly savor the art of French patisserie, a small pocket of perfection that, even on the world's most famous avenue, feels uniquely, wonderfully Parisian.

Even though our waiter was slow in service, everything else was exceptional. The French Toast is like no other you've ever had. Coffee was just right as well as the lattes. We have dined here before and have come back for their Macarons every time we've been in Paris. The flan cheesecake was delicious, do try it.

I believe this is a must-visit place in Paris for macarons and other traditional french sweets. The place is a marvel, the decor is stunning. There are two floors and space for a lot of tables. The stairs with the mirrors were so beautiful. There is even a white piano on the second floor! There was a short wait for a table, not too long and absolutely worth it. The prices are on the higher end, but for the beautiful space, great quality, and very good service, it was worth it once during our stay in Paris!

Google
Is it worth the hype and money?Definitely. The cappuccino was smooth and excellent quality and the best croque madame I had in a while. For a non macaron fan, I enjoyed them as well. We stayed there for a few hours. The staff was extremely friendly and kind.

Stopped with a friend for the Paris classic. There was a bit of a line but it went quick. We ate there and had drinks and pastries and it was quite lovely. The portions are bigger than expected so we left with a very full stomach. As well the staff was welcoming and nice from the start. Great ambiance and experience. Thank you!

Google
Always a classic, I would say a must visit in Paris. I know there are many Laduree locations around the city and the world, but this one feels like a classic. The menu has a good selection. Everything we ordered was delicious, as expected. The decor is perfect and the whole experience doesn't feel too "touristy". I also appreciate that they do not over pack the dining room so it was never too loud or crowded. The absolute highlight of the visit was our server Sahbaj - he was very sweet and took excellent care of our table. Thank you Sahbaj!

Google
I thought this place was really overrated like the one in NY, but THIS PLACE IS THE REAL DEAL HOLYFIELD. The pastries were phenomenal and the service was exceptional. There was a super cool vibe and the staff were very friendly and patient with us. A must visit in Paris.

Yelp
This should be on everyone's bucket list when they visit Paris if they love macaroons! It's a cool tea room and the decorations are on point here. We did not get a chance to sit down because the line was too long and there was also a reservations list. Thankfully, we were able to walk around the corner and go order directly to the counter to order, and we were able to find some open seating. There was so many different flavors. I was kind of overwhelmed because there were so many options and I just wanted them all, but I couldn't swallow the price lol. I would still recommend experiencing it and trying them out. They're really good as far as texture and the flavors!

Yelp
Just wow. Laduree has been on my bucket list for years now. I am so glad that I was able to make it during my Paris visit. This place is amazing. Ambiance is like a fairy tale story. It is decorated in the most loving and amazing way. They have the cutest chairs and they have the nicest color(green). This cafe is usually by reservation based on my understanding, since there can be a long waiting time. We were lucky to get in with no reservation. Host told us the wait will be around 20 to 30 minutes which was fine with us. We were seated within the promised timeframe. Our server's name was Sunam. I hope I spelled his name correctly. He was amazing and he went above and beyond in providing customer service. I can give him 10 stars for the amazing service. For food, we ordered macaroons and coffee drinks. They were all out of this world. Macaroons were so flavorful and tasty. They were the best ones I have ever had. I would suggest asking your server for recommendations since they know which ones are the best. We asked our server for suggestions, the ones he suggested were the best one we had. All the staff were nice and friendly. We didn't have any issues with ordering and waiting time. This was an incredible experience for me. If I am back in Paris, I will go back to this cafe and try new flavors of macaroons.

Yelp
tl;dr at their best, these macarons are unlike any you've ever experienced; however, for the least exciting flavors, it may be hard to swallow the $3 price Macarons were toward the top of my list of must-try Parisian eats, and the two shops that seemed to top every list were Ladurée and Pierre Hermé. Of the two, Laduree is better known for its classic flavors -- no surprise, since the brand was established in 1862 and is often credited for inventing the modern macaron. Nowadays, Laduree shops can be found across the city. I first visited the outpost near the Latin Quarter. Wooden tables and woven chairs sit underneath the forest-green awning. Indoors, the warmly lit indoor space encapsulates Parisian upscale cafe vibes: white marble surfaces, checkboard floor, minimalistic lime-green color palette, and classical music. The queue loops past a bright pastry display and a rainbow of macarons. Across all varieties, I was impressed by the light, slightly crisp cookies and full-bodied flavor. The moderate-sized pastries will each last a few modest bites. My favorite flavor was the Cafe, with a taste that rivaled a premium espresso beverage and a hint of brown sugary sweetness. I also enjoyed the eye-catchingly blue Marie Antoinette, which reminded me of a sophisticated iced tea with lemon. The only flavor that I didn't fancy was the Fromboise, which felt oddly artificial. Service is efficient, and there is no challenge for a non-native speaker. At nearly $3 per macron, a flight of flavors will quickly add up. Nonetheless, both the price and quality are better than similar shops in the States. Be sure to stop in -- even if just for a single, on-the-go macaron in the airport.

Yelp
The magic of having a perfect macaron on champs Élysées while looking at the arc de triomph is unlike any other. I have had several macarons around France and the world but I have yet to taste one as perfectly crafted as the ones at laduree. The flavours of rose, lychee, lavender or just plain chocolate are all made with the best quality ingredients and prove consistency across the board. You truly can't go wrong with any flavour you choose but make sure to spend a pretty penny for these pretty little treats. I promise your tastebuds will be thanking you even if your bank account doesn't.

Yelp
Macarons are always a treat, and you can't go wrong with the ones from Ladurée. The store by Champs-Élysée is absolutely charming, and the elegant green or pink boxes evoke the feeling of old Paris. There's usually a long line at this iconic store. Always great to bring back right before you depart from CDG since they also have kiosks at the airport.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant with faux flowers a bloom throughout and an adorable mint green decor. We didn't have reservations so the line was long but the wait worth it for the delicious macarons, tiramisu and drinks

Yelp
Laduree macarons are some of the best macrons that I've had. They had tons of unique flavors to choose from and each one that we tried was amazing. They are not too sweet and have great balance. The shop was very cute and the service was great. Overall would highly recommend.

Yelp
Amazing!!! The place is beautifully decorated & the macarons are amazing. We did take out but you can also have a meal there.

Yelp
I took a box of macaroons to go so I can't vouch for the sit down service. They were just ok. I think there are much better macaroons in Paris. The shop is lovely though. Very cute little store front.

Yelp
I've always enjoyed picking up pastries and macarons from Laduree when in New York, but the flagship store seems to be the Parisian fantasy of my dreams as a little girl. It's pastels, frills, puffy little pastries, perfect little porcelain dishes and even the Bridgerton soundtrack playing throughout the store. Aside from the macarons and pastries that are quite exquisite, it's a great place for a quiet breakfast after a stroll along the Champs-Elysees. Make sure you plan some time in your trip for an actual meal at Laduree, not just stopping in for a pastry (or seven).

Yelp
I came here after listening to a review in Rick Steve's tours. The restaurant is very beautiful with pistachio and pink decor, gorgeous chandeliers, art deco motifs and gentile waitstaff. My partner and I ordered the hot chocolate and four macarons. The hot chocolate was thick and very decadent and was served in hot tea kettle's with a bowl of fresh whipped cream. All the macarons were delicious, especially the pistachio, my favorite, Amazing experience!

Yelp
Iconic. Something you must do in your Paris visit. However I did miss the old decor and footprint before they added the restaurant and cafe. It doesn't feel as special and grand as it used to. I do like the new added gift items tho0ugh an I'm mad at myself for not buying a few of them while I was there. They are all expensive obviously but I do wish I had gotten a reusable tote and water bottle (both around $30-$50 UDS) They have a "new" flavor - the signature flavor they are calling it. I say "new". because it was not a thing the last time I was in Paris (but that was 10 years previous this trip. I get it and it was really good but ti is bright Smurf blue so I could see it being off-putting. It was good, kind of floral, I would get it again but only one. I wish I remembered the name. I would book the resturant next time just to have the experience but I imagine it woud be a bit overpriced for the novelty. You are not allowed to walk upstairs to see it without a reservation. We walked in about an hour before close on a Tuesday evening and there was no line or wait for the classic counter, and there were plenty of tables available for the cafe (though we did not do that on this trip)

Yelp
Ladurée stores are located in various places over the city. They are specifically known for their macaroons. I visited a few of their stores and they are all really nice and clean. The staff at all of them were also very friendly. I felt this store had a larger selection of macaroons. It also had a full restaurant that you can dine at. I grabbed some macaroons and one of their most popular jams. All very delicious!! I'd recommend stopping at a Ladurée store and grabbing some macaroons!

Yelp
Elegant French pastry and Brunch place. Went early without reservations and luckily got in with a few minutes wait. Service is excellent and decor is superb. Omelette has a velvety texture. Waffle is tasty with a surprise macaroon. A great experience in Paris.
google avatar

Yelp
Everyone is saying this is the best in Paris but actually is not true It was Ok but Paris surely has better macaroons on other places I tried it and didn't care that much I think Pierre Hermé is better .

Yelp
While on a trip to Paris with my mother, I wanted to make sure that we had the opportunity to stop by and try Ladurée. After doing some shopping nearby, we stopped in to pick up some macarons. The place was absolutely packed, with everyone wanting to partake in their Bridgerton-themed tea service. The line for the shop moved quickly, and we purchased a box of six different macarons to try. I believe the flavors we bought were vanilla, pistachio, coffee, salted caramel, smoked vanilla, and chocolate. The macarons were alright, but you can tell that they are now mass produced and overly commercialized. If I am going to splurge on a macaron, I would much rather purchase it from a small local business and truly be able to taste the authenticity. These macarons tasted artificial in their flavoring, but they make for a pretty picture.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant, great location, and amazing service!!! We came here for brunch! The omelet was made to perfection but what I wanted to talk about is the hot chocolate! It is hot dark chocolate, great texture and thick! You can't find this every where even in Paris! The creamy is lightly sweeten. Had every ounce of it!

Yelp
I always come here when I come to Paris for work. Each experience is amazing. I've never had dinner here just came for the desserts, especially the macaroons. I'll update when I actually set down to eat. There are times (because I've been several times) that the wait is a little long to get in or the line is long but it sooooo worth it. I've had many desserts here and every single one of them was delicious and so good. The bakery is amazing! I'm not a big fan of macaroons in general but I'll eat these up because they are the best ones! Every dessert you eat, you can definitely taste all the flavors, and the fruit. I hate chocolate, so I never ate anything chocolate but brought chocolate for my husband and friends and they said it was really good and moist. The staff was all so amazing and nice and helped with any question you have or helped with decisions, because there's so much to chose from. They also move really fast! The place is so cute, everything about is cute inside and instagram picture worthy. I always have a great time here and it's a must stop for me when I'm here in Paris.

Yelp
It's Ladurée, y'all--say less! From the moment you step in, you're wrapped in elegance and charm. The iconic pastel decor, delicate sweets, and rich Parisian history make this spot a must-visit. The macarons? Perfection. Crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful inside--each bite is a little luxury. Whether you're sipping tea or indulging in dessert, everything feels elevated. The service is polished, the atmosphere dreamy, and the experience unforgettable. A true taste of Parisian sophistication. If you're in Paris, don't walk--float there. Ladurée delivers on every level. Iconic for a reason. Oui, oui.
google avatar

Yelp
You cannot go to Paris without popping into this beautiful shop for an amazing dessert. We were in town in the spring and had an opportunity to utilize their outdoor seating, which provided an amazing view of the Champs-Elysees. The service was friendly and everything we tried was excellent and also beautiful. We also grabbed a box of macarons to go!
google avatar

Yelp
We were strolling on Champs-Élysées and decided to stop by Laduree for some coffee and a light snack. When we arrived, they were still setting up the outside dining so we stood in line to dine in. The line moved slow but when we finally got to go upstairs to the dining area, we were in awe with the decor. After a few quick photos, we looked at the menu. Mink ordered a Croissant with a Cappuccino while I just had a Double Espresso and we shared 6 Macaroons. We were able to choose the 6 flavors we wanted to try so our server walked me over to their display case to choose since we didn't know which ones to choose. It was a quiet atmosphere and everyone was dining leisurely so we enjoyed our visit accordingly. 6 Macaroons was a lot and we only finished 3. They brought us a small take out box when we asked for the check. This is definitely a great spot for photos and macaroons.

Yelp
Best macaroons we ever tried! Expensive, but worth it! We visited Ladurée on 75 Av. des Champs-Élysées in August 2023, during our tour in Paris. Ladurée was listed in all Paris guides as #1 macaroons place and it turned out to be the one! Macaroons were super fresh, soft, and melting in the mouth. They were expensive but were certainly worth it! Ladurée is a must try!
google avatar

Yelp
It was my first time to have breakfast at this place. Came in with no reservation but didn't have to wait that long to be seated. (Luckily April wasn't crazy time in Paris). This place looks really cute and fancy, also very colorfu. I hate that I can't remember the name of the breakfast food that we ordered, but it's Salmon (I believe it was smoked) with soft cheese and lime on the side. The other one was a sandwich with avocado inside. We also ordered chocolate croissant and macarons together with Laduree signature lattes. It wasn't a cheap breakfast but a great one for sure. Everything was amazing, from the service to the food and ambiance. I highly recommend this place :)

Yelp
I waited online for about 20 Minutes, it was worthed, the macaron at this gem melt in my mouth. They have different flavor for all of your taste. I had 8 macarons they packed it nicely. I got served like an imperial customer. Shopping at la durée it's an experience. They also have different type of dessert I got the palmier, flacky, caramelise and melting in your mouth.
google avatar

Stephanie V.

Yelp
The Champs-Élysées location has a stunning tea room that spans across two floors. Each floor is beautifully decorated with fake flowers and glass chandeliers. Piano versions of popular songs played through the tea room during my visit. I booked online through TheFolk. I wasn't able to figure out how to switch the language on the website to English, but I muddled through with my conversational French and Google Translate to to book my reservation for afternoon tea. When I arrived the afternoon team menu wasn't available, so I got to pick from options on the regular menu including a toast and three macarons. I was brought tap water without me having to ask, which was greatly appreciated since many touristy places in Paris bring bottles of water and charge you for those bottles unless you explicitly ask for tap water. The hot chocolate I ordered was very nice and very rich even with adding cream. My favorite from all the things I tried at Laudree was the raspberry dessert made with macaron shells.
google avatar

Ryna D.

Yelp
Of course, I'm not saying no to Ladurée. But alas, knowing Pierre Hermé exists, I can't help but compare the quality. Still very good but if you can get your hands on some macarons from Pierre Hermé, then don't pass it up!
google avatar

Angela R.

Yelp
Went on a Tuesday evening and it was popping. There was a long wait for getting a table at the cafe, but we could walk in instantly for to-go drinks and macarons. The only hiccup of the experience was that after we ordered two specialty lattes, the barista mistakenly gave mine to someone else. Which would be fine on its own, but when I told her, she got flustered and just started making other drinks? Only when we said something to the cashier who took our order did my drink get made, so that was definitely weird. I'm not sure why they don't have a more organized system for drinks. Considering that they give out slips with numbers for macaron orders, you think they could do the same for coffees since it gets so chaotic? That was the only weird thing. The drinks and macarons were beautiful and tasted wonderful. We ate some of the macarons the next day and they were still amazing.
google avatar

Yelp
Best afternoon tea experience in Paris! Everything was so wonderful - service, food, ambiance. It was an enchanted romantic experience, even with a kid in tow in us.

Yelp
Always worth a visit for the best macarons in Paris. When we visit Paris our children always request we bring these back for them.
google avatar

Yelp
Everything is to love here! The garden room on the Champs is beautiful to sit in for lunch and or dessert! Each of the desserts are beautiful AND delicious. This is a family favorite for decades. We will return!

Yelp
Excellent food, service and of coarse ambiance it was so nice and one of our first restaurants while in Paris

Yelp
Before the arrival of Pierre Hermé and all its fanfare, I considered Ladurée the best macaron in France. When visiting Ladurée at the Champs-Élysées for the umpteenth time recently, I also bought pastries in addition to macarons. Their pastry selection is a bit threadbare, but it's all very high quality. Their "Pistachio Religieuse" and the "Plaisir Sucré" were very good (see photos). So Ladurée is a venerable institution offering excellent macarons, pastries, and other delicacies in a charming atmosphere. Ultimately however, you can find better macarons and pastries elsewhere in Paris (i.e. Pierre Hermé).
google avatar

Elle M.

Yelp
Sometimes I love a little something over the top decadent and delicious and Lauduree delivered with ispahan flavored everything. The whip cream on the latte was the perfect final treat in the City of Lights on the Champs.
google avatar

J E.

Yelp
After spending the day on the Champs-Élysées we stopped in here to enjoy the epitome of a French roadside Café, for tea and treats. This is probably the most famous and better of the patisseries in the area. The staff was friendly, the views of the Champs-Élysées were interesting and great for people watching. The menu has all the typical French Café items, but they are an amazing bakery, so get something special!
google avatar

Courtney F.

Yelp
Laduree is a must-stop if you are looking for over-the-top, fancy, Instagrammable macarons. We were so excited to visit and ended up waiting in a very long line for around 30 minutes before ordering. Once it is your turn to order, you have SO many options - it really is hard to choose! We got an assortment of macarons and thought they were all incredible. My personal favorite was the pistachio, but you really can't go wrong! I definitely recommend stopping in if you are visiting the area, but I know that there are many local places that have amazing macarons as well - with less of a line and hype.
google avatar

Racquel S.

Yelp
Very cute. Service was slow with long lines, but the macarons themselves were really good.
google avatar

Keith A.

Yelp
I'm writing this without having tried the macaroons because the Flan and raspberry tart were so so amazing. If you want to give a crazy yummy gift or have a crazy good Parisian desert come here. Maybe before dinner because it's easy to over indulge. Their main store is closed due to renovation. So they have a store front in the street. Besides macaroons , again, taste their Flan! They are so nice, with good English speaking service. One worker will follow you around boxing everything like gifts , but also easy enough for you to try.

Emily B.

Yelp
The bloom is off the rose. It's finally become a total nightmare to go anywhere near this over-marketed business. The quality is just ok, nothing like it was before it expanded. Waited over 30 minutes for a table and was finally seated by a rude hostess. Waited another 10 minutes for a waiter who never appeared and left. It was all disappointing and a waste of time. Booooooo! I also saw a woman who had just made a huge purchase turned away from using the bathroom. Horrible customer service.
google avatar

Yelp
Laduree in the spring of May! The outdoor line was a bit intimidating, nevertheless when on the Champs macarons is a must. Pay for the fame ~ when associated with the high end shopping, the beautiful packaging comes with high end pricing. The receipt over $100 to have the full assortment of flavors was shocking. Thought to keep the box as a souvenir only to throw it away days later lol.

Yelp
Not only is this place beautiful, it was so tasty. The service was nice and really felt Parisian. We got there early, and there was no line. I wish my home was decorated like this!

Yelp
Absolutely love this place with now seating down for foods !!! The services were great & we had on of their famous chicken puff pastries.. the mushrooms sauce was amazing good & their hot chocolate drink was to die for. Definitely will go back here next time we're in Paris.

Yelp
I had high expectations for Ladurée on the Champs-Élysées, given its worldwide reputation for luxury and fine dining. The décor and building were truly magnificent--elegant, sophisticated, and perfectly Parisian. The food itself was as good as you would expect, although the prices were outrageously high. I assumed this was for the service and experience, but I couldn't have been more wrong. The hostess was sweet and professional, setting what I thought would be a pleasant tone for the rest of the meal. That's where the positives ended. Our server, who was apparently named Sarah (according to our receipt), was shockingly rude and hostile from the moment she approached our table. She had round, thin-framed glasses and brown hair clipped up, and her attitude was one of sheer disdain. She rolled her eyes, crossed her arms, and quite literally slammed the menu on the table when I asked simple questions. She was directly and obviously trying to glare me down. Her aggressive body language and eye-rolling were so blatant that I had to turn to my husband and ask, "Are you seeing this too? Is something wrong?" We were both bewildered. It felt like we were being punished for simply existing in her section. Her behavior was so unprofessional that I was on the verge of leaving, but when I made a point of speaking loudly about it to my husband--loud enough for her to hear--her attitude very slightly improved. However, the damage was done, and the rest of the experience was completely ruined. This is supposed to be a high-end, luxurious dining experience, yet I've received better service at McDonald's. Sarah didn't just disrespect us, she disrespected herself and the restaurant with her utter lack of dignity. How does someone like her get hired at an establishment of this caliber? It's mind-boggling. On top of all this, the menu stated my brunch order came with two sides, but thanks to her unbearable demeanor, I forgot to follow up, and I ended up with a sad, plain omelette. So not only was the service atrocious, but I didn't even get the meal I ordered. Time is precious, especially when on vacation. Choosing where to dine is part of the experience, and this was an absolute waste--of time, money, and energy. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this place unless you enjoy being treated with contempt at exorbitant prices.

Yelp
Came here as our first stop in Paris which I was beyond excited for as this was a bucket list item for me! We got sat in the upstairs dining at the prettiest center table underneath the new(ish) display which was stunning! So gorgeous! I was a little bummed however when we were later asked to move tables from a gorgeous middle floor table over to a window table..? And it wasn't right away it was like 15 minutes in to our experience. +All for the table that they moved us from to remain empty and unoccupied until we were almost done dining and ready to leave. So not sure why we had to move in the first place? Maybe we weren't "spending enough money" in their mind to have the center floor so they tossed us off to the side is how it felt. Would definitely recommend Pierre Herme over Laduree. Laduree is iconic and a bucket list for sure but macaroons and service were so much more incredible at any of the Pierre locations and the staff was so so kind, knowledgeable and helped us pick our flavors based on our palette and taste preferences. Do better Laduree!!!

Sooooooo pretty! This was my first visit, and everything was perfect. The line was short and moved quickly. They had a gentleman directing traffic and he did his best to answer questions. We got macaroons to go. The staff behind the counter are kind and efficient. We made some great choices, and love the quality and taste - not too sweet and perfect texture. Again, inside is beautiful!

Yelp
Despite the language barrier, great service. Thought I ordered a cafe mocha, but got this delicious drink. Forgot what it was called.

Yelp
Ladurée was a must visit spot for me when on vacation in Paris. I had always heard about and seen their desserts enjoyed by tons of people in Paris. It did not disappoint! I loved the wide variety of Macaroon options and their packaging is so cute. I love the bag I received to carry items away. Their decor inside was so beautiful. Made for awesome photo opportunities. We visited on a Wednesday and they were pretty busy with it not even being noon yet. Service was great. Overall, the line moved quickly and we were in and out in a reasonable amount of time. I'm not a huge macaroon fan, but when in Paris, haha! Honestly, the macaroons were great. We really enjoyed them!

Yelp
I went here on Mother's Day this year with my daughter and it was such a lovely experience. A beautifully designed space with florals. The perfect girlie place for bougie ladies. The food and drinks were incredible, along with the service. Can't wait to go back. It's a must visit in Paris.

Yelp
Review of the to-go food only. My boyfriend took one for the team and stood in line at Ladurée while I took a yoga class at a local study by Champs-Elysées. He told me that there were two lines. There was one for brunch, which he accidentally stood in for 45-minutes until someone told him to go into the second line. The second line for ordering straight from the patisserie only took a 3-minute wait, so just a heads up about that when you see a long line out the door! He picked up a butter croissant, which was the first one I had on my trip. It set the standard high for croissants and was probably the best croissant I've ever had to this point based on how flaky and buttery soft the crumb was. I also tried two petites gateaux including Ispahan and Plasir Sucré. Ladurée's Plasir Sucré was just OK. Their Ispahan, on the other hand, was excellent. Ispahan is THE iconic French macaron cake with the flavor combos of rose, lychee, and raspberry. The rose was the more upfront flavor, but it wasn't too overbearing. I loved the surprise lychee right in the middle.

Yelp
Ladurée is iconic. Even if it's perpetually busy, loud, and the food is mediocre, the experience is worth it just once. The boyfriend and I went on a hot July afternoon, possibly the hottest day during the hottest week. There was no AC and even the water isn't ice cold. The least enjoyable part of the dinner was probably from the heatwave but the wait staff really tried their best. This is the Champs-Élysées restaurant so there were more tourists than ever. It felt like those theme restaurants at Disneyland over a romantic dinner for couples. Personally I wouldn't recommend Ladurée for large families with kids because your kids WILL get antsy. Plus I don't think kids really enjoy the full restaurant or afternoon tea experience, it's best to just grab an ice cream and go.
