The second you pull down the block, you're already in vacation mode thanks to the decorations, the music, the buzz! The ice cream is phenomenal--the best I've ever had. Highly recommend the s'mores flavor! We worked with Lady Moo Moo this week as well for a farmers market back to school event, and they were so creative and accommodating in putting the order together. Lady Moo Moo is a gem of a neighborhood business, and we've loved the chance to work with them! We just did 250 cups for the event, and looking forward to working with them for future programming and staff events!

Had the donut ice cream sandwich, featuring an apple cider donut from Peter Pan Donuts, and honey, pumpkin, and cookies and cream ice cream. Not cheap at $12 but delicious, and the nice guy gave me 3 flavors of ice cream instead of the standard 2 when he saw I was having trouble settling on just 2.

I was surprised to see that this ice cream stand offered a vegan option. I wish it had more but it seems they rotate between 1 vegan flavor at a time. This is still better than nothing. However I unfortunately went when the vegan flavor available was Salted Caramel. I was not a fan of the flavor as it felt watered down and lacked a good aftertaste. The non vegan strawberry however got heaps of praise so I imagine the other flavors were great. I'll have to go back to try a different vegan flavor. Hopefully it'll change my opinion.

Come here pretty often. Great service and great sorbet/non dairy flavors. They let you sample and have Take home pints too!

Great tasting flavors that change weekly. Banana pudding, earl gray lavender, rum raisin (not to strong in a good way) & Thai milk tea are all home runs!

Very good ice creams and decent sorbets with innovative flavors (14 flavors (3 vegan sorbets)), decent portions and good prices (6.5 for 2 scoops), allow sampling and have a nice ambience and decent amount of seating outside. My favorites were the real rum raisin (nice tipsy scoop with great flavor and kick), vanilla with chocolate covered sunflower seeds (Very nice crunch) and the earl grey lavender. All of them had great texture and right amount of sweetness. The sorbets had a good amount of flavor but were a bit icy.

Every time I come here I am welcomed by the feel good music, as well as the amazing customer service. The ice cream selection is rotating and delectable! A perfect place to enjoy good music, and even better desserts! Definitely worth the wait in line!

This place is such a vibe. Nothing like a neighborhood ice cream window. Kids were drawing with chalk out in front. If you're missing the suburbs, sitting on the bench in front of Lady Moo Moo will scratch your itch. As for the ice cream, flavors are fairly straightforward/basic, but the texture is spot on (firm but creamy) and the mix ins are the right ratios. I really enjoyed the classic cookies and cream they offered. I hope to return when in Bed Stuy!

Amazing little ice cream place! This spot is a real gem with plenty of benches outside to sit and enjoy your delicious ice cream. You can tell that all the flavors are super thought out and delicious + not to mention all the amazing local collaborations they always seem to be doing! The service was so funny and sweet and very fast despite the line! Couldn't recommend this place more, definitely give it a try!!

This place has been on my list for years, and I finally made it here! This is a super cute ice cream shop, they had some really cool flavors, and the employees were nice enough to let us sample a few flavors. My husband went with the classic cookies and cream in a waffle cone and I went with the local honey in a cup. The cookies and cream was delicious, smooth and not overly sweet. The waffle cone was thin and crunchy, which was nice. The local honey was good, it wasn't too sweet and it was smooth. Definitely check this place out if you're ever in the area!

I LOVE Lady Moo Moo, and it's such a great addition to the Bed-Stuy neighborhood. Their tropical flavors especially were SUCH a gamechanger in the killer heat this summer. I really enjoyed their passionfruit and coconut offerings, but there wasn't a single person upset about any of the flavors they were slinging by the scoop. They have the best Lady Moo Moo mural and multi-colored decor surrounding the hole-in-the-wall shop, and they even had a bowl for thirsty doggos. This establishment goes to show that it's always going to be quality over quantity. The staff was lovely, efficient, and explanatory. In terms of parking, it's New York: it's easier to bike or walk.

Love lady moo moo! It's a Family friendly local neighborhood spot, when I had first moved into the area I remember the owner had gave me a complimentary pint because I came after closing trying to score some vegan ice cream. Love love love they have vegan ice cream options + the affogato is amazing if you need a lovely pick me up and you can customize it with any flavor ice cream.

Finally caught this place when it is open. For years I never seemed to sync up with them. It's super pricey for ice cream with minor frost bite and $2 cones. But since it is out of the way and I doubt I'll catch it open again its worth the 6.50. The single scoop is tightly packed with two scoops and the flavor was everything. I ordered the earl grey lavender and got just that. A beautiful blend of slightly flowery lavender and subtle bitterness from the e.g. Service was quick for this quaint little shack. Overall it's definitely tasty cream but do be prepared to fork over all your money for only a scoop ice cream.

I absolutely love the ice cream here! It is delicious and they have a wide variety of flavors! I've had the Earl Grey Lavender, which was great, as well as the rooftop honey, which was to die for! The staff here are friendly and will offer samples if you can't decide on a flavor. There's outdoor seating and you can pay with QR code or cash

Lady Moo Moo is based out of Bed-Stuy, serving up small-batch gourmet ice cream and sorbet. They're pretty good in keeping their social media updated - flavors offered include vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, rooftop honey, banana p.b. cups, real rum...raisin, etc. We tried a scoop of their cookies & cream ice cream - it was creamy, had plenty of crushed Oreo cookies throughout, and was well-enjoyed. i am an ice cream lover. that being said, ive been in search of a go-to ice cream spot in brooklyn for a while and i think ive finally found a winner. it honestly saddens me that this spot is seasonal. went on a monday evening and there wasn't a huge line thank god. it was also so awfully hot and humid out-- an ideal day for a cold sweet treat. i was there for about two hours and yes, we had two rounds of ice cream!! for my first i opted for the vanilla sunflower and cookies and cowfee. the ice cream here is smooth, creamy, and not too sweet (my favorite. real thick dairy. the cookies and cowfee was solid, i feel like its a standard flavor one cannot go wrong with. it paired great with the vanilla sunflower which has little chocolate coated sunflower seeds dispersed throughout. For my second round which i took on the walk back, i opted for the rooftop honey and vanilla sunflower again. the rooftop honey was delicious (a bit sweeter so would recommend with a more neutral flavor if you get two flavors). the people working here were also super nice and helpful. next time im pretty determined to get the ice cream sandwich which, from the photos ive seen from other reviewers, looks like a dream come true.

Our summer in the neighborhood will not be the same without Lady MooMoo - best vibes, best ice cream, the team is so sweet! It just feel good to eat your ice cream from there! Thank you!!

When I saw a review mentioning Earl Grey Ice Cream it just made me think of Van Leeuwen and unpopular opinion, but I do not like Van Leeuwen's ice cream. It has a weird aftertaste for me and I don't get the hype surrounding it. When I came here, they didn't offer that flavour, so I was thinking I would get two scoops - one ice cream and one sorbet, since I saw they offered Strawberry/Basil and Yuzu Lemon. Which I love both flavours and the guy was nice enough to offer me a taste. I love Yuzu, but this version tasted like those Korean Citron Tea with Honey rather than Yuzu and so I had to pass on this because this just wasn't representing Yuzu well. Strawberry/Basil - I didn't get a sense of strawberry or basil, it tasted a bit too water down for me. I want to say sorbet needs work here, so I ended up getting their ice cream and their ice cream wasn't a fail. I tasted the flavours in each lick or bite. We tried the following flavours: Vanilla Pistachio - it was true pistachio colour, not like that neon green that you see in Italian Ice or Gelato that you pass by in Little Italy. Butter Pecan Chocolate I am a fan and I love how they offer wooden spoons rather than horrible plastic.

Just stopped by to get some Chocolate ice cream on a waffle cone. Mmmm, good! My mom got her favorite, Strawberry, in a pint. She even tried the Banana Pudin' flavor and got a scoop! The service is friendly and quick. I coming to this spot for my ice cream!

Lady Moo Moo is in one word - cuteness!! This is a true neighborhood joint serving some delicious pints, cones, sandwiches, and more. It's a unique spot in that it's basically just a to-go counter with some benches for seating. The people around the space and the music they play definitely make it a vibe. When I visited, the line was long but it was made entertaining with all the dogs that the neighbors brought with them. I thought I would be the only one with a dog - nope!! The ice cream here definitely gives homemade vibes. It is like the ice cream my grandma and I used to make with her ice cream maker. I picked up a couple pints and they were great throughout the week. Service is really friendly and kind. I really loved the vibe of the person taking my order when I was there. It's just such a cute spot overall with great variety of flavors and a lovely vibe. Can't wait to try an ice cream sandwich next time!!

I was taken aback by the resounding five star reviews for this spot and having experienced this spot, I can totally see why. They don't take credit card but they accept all kinds of cash transferring services (venmo, cashapp, paypal) and of course actual cash. Service is probably the best I've ever had. Employee at the window was super patient, helpful, and bubbly. It's clear there's so much passion behind making and serving the ice cream so no doubt the product is gonna be awesome. Prices are fair (better than you see at many competing ice cream places) and the flavors are far better. There's lavender earl grey, cookies and cowfee (cookies and cream but with coffee base), and rooftop honey (it reminded me a little of maple or a deep caramel). It's a walk up stand essentially but there are benches around thank goodness to sit and eat peacefully. Would be back if there are other fun flavor combos in the future (which I hear they do sometimes!)

I can't say enough good things about this place! I've had wonderful service and amazing ice cream. Worth the cost and the trip! PLEASE try the Earl Grey Lavender ice cream; it is nothing less than remarkable.

The deor of Lady Moo Moo Ice Cream is adorable with lots of painting on it's exterior wall. Their flavors weren't in a great variety but decent enough for an afternoon treat or a dessert after meals. We had their Chocolate PB and it was delicious and well-balanced between chocolate & peanut butter. Just a reminder that credit cards are not acceptable but Cash & Venmo only.

We love it here!! The customer service is great, the staff and of course the SORBETS AND THE ICE CREAM!!! Forget about Van Luewen (or however you spell it!) Lady Moo Moo is the truth and the rum raisin is unmatched!!! We're going to miss our summer walks for evening ice cream when they close at the end of the month. I say we start a petition for year-round, ice cream stand service. (Evil laughter!!!)

Absolutely love this hidden gem in the neighborhood! I wish they were open all week but I guess that is based off of demand. Service is always fast but each order is prepared with love. Prices aren't bad and they even have pints to take home. I love the gym all machine; when you get a golden gum ball you win a free scoop. PLEASE make the red velvet ice cream more often Lol

This is one of my favorite ice cream shops in NYC and I'm lucky its a 15 min walk from my home. They make fantastic small batch ice cream and sorbet. They opened for a small window at the end of December and I snagged some pints and a 2.5 quart to hold me over until they open in the spring.

Friendly neighborhood homemade ice cream shop that commands lines wrapped around the corner. I stopped by a few weeks ago, only to find out they weren't yet open for scoops, just pints. I was sad, but the guy told me to come back July 19th. Today was that day! And also, National Ice Cream Day. Thinking I was going after the rush, I hopped in line just after 5:30 on a Sunday. My wait was about 45 minutes. Is this a long time? Yes. But during covid, what else do you have to do on a hot afternoon? I had my headphones and Pokemon Go and settled in. When it was my turn at the counter, I placed an order for Better (butter) Pecan and Cookies & Cream on a cone. A scoop is $4, add an extra for $2. Two scoops for $6 really is a sweet deal. The ice cream was delicious. Butter pecan is always a solid choice and the cookies and cream was full of chocolatey cookie chunks. The added bonus was the guy remembering me from that time before. They have a pretty long list of ice cream flavors, and for the dairy-averse, sorbet! I'll be sure to check out the mango sorbet the next time I go (which will be soon!).

Such a cute ice cream spot!!! My friend and I randomly decided to stop by on our walk home and I'm glad we did! We shared a scoop of the banana peanut butter and it was super tasty! I think I'd need to try more flavors to really know the place, but just based on that flavor I thought it was solid ice cream. The workers were also super nice and the aesthetic of the store was adorable.

Love this place. Every flavor is different and interesting. Cookie sanwhich is very good. Cookie tastes like chocolate chip with cinnamon. It's huge though. Lava cake is also very good but on the small side. Both$10.

It my birthday week and I was in the mood for ICE CREAM. I put the kids in the car and head to Lady Moo Moo. As I pull up I see a small line of people enjoying their ice cream and a party of two being served. I also notice three different QR code (Venmo, CashApp and PayPal) of which I have NONE. I started to panic because I have the kids, you can't renege on ice cream with kids. The owner/server hands me the ice creams and allowed me to download venmo. I would like to say thank you to him and add in a world that we are moving away from person to person into action it good the see people who still love what they do, have a great product and good customer service. I will recommend this place.

If you're looking for delicious ice cream, this is the place! It's a cute little spot in the neighborhood. I got a pint of cookies and cream ice cream and I was not disappointed. I know I'll be back a ton during summer. This pint probably won't last me the weekend!

It's amazing during this pandemic this gem is still open. Putting a smile on everyone face. I love the coconut and butter pecan flavor ice cream. At the moment they aren't accepting Cards payment. But they do have paypal, cash app and Vernon barcode where you could scan and pay. But preferable CASH!! Different varieties of ice cream flavors and sorbet. A wonderful added ice cream gem to the community.

We drove past these guys and were curious. They operate on a residential street, and the store front looks like an extension of someone's home or garage. We weren't sure if they were an actual business open to public but with an awning like lady moo moo and a rainbow gumball machine we just had to check. Sooo glad, because shortly after we parked we saw 2 people ordering and receiving tantalizing scoops of ice cream. It was pretty simple to review the menu, but not as simple to choose the flavors. We kept it conservative, as this is a cash only establishment. Was a bit disappointed and didn't want to drive to a bank and lose our parking spot so the 7 of us ordered 8 scoops. Hahaha...you would think its plenty enough but seriously, they are delish!! and did not make it to the car that was parked a few houses down. We are normally good at sharing, but my family are dessert fiends so very little sharing was done. Flavors we tried but did not get-earl grey lavender. Flavors we tried and did get-Tahitian vanilla, the coconut, mango, litchi (lychee), mixed berry. Of these flavors, my favorite is the lychee. Light and mildly sweet. Tastes almost like the fresh fruit. Next time I am in the area I am going to make up for this missed opportunity.

Five stars all around. Great service. Great ice cream and even better sorbet.... Mr. Steve came to the school I work in on career day. He shared his story with my students about the many jobs he has had prior to his Moo-Moo shop. He shared samples of ice cream and sorbet with the students in PK-2.. In addition to samples that he gave at the school, he gave each child a card for another free scoop if they stop by the shop. Every sample was devoured in the classroom. Delicious stuff. Twenty-eight happy students. The shop is only opened on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. So I decided after school on Friday I would go and get some passion sorbet, I also got the wild berry and some cookies and cream for my son. Everything is fabulous. The consistency, flavor and texture on the palate are perfect. I will be back for more flavors. Welcome to the neighborhood.

Super friendly staff and very patient. It was my first time stopping by and they let me try whatever flavor I inquired about. The lavender was surprisingly balanced as not everyone can do lavender well and the earl grey was superb. I will def be back. I def see why this place gets so many great reviews.

First things first, the ice cream is delicious and with fascinating flavors like the fragrant Earl Grey Lavendar and the subtley sweet Rooftop Honey, there's lots to choose from. The staff is friendly and happy to let to sample the diffrent flavors help you decide.You get the feeling that the guys who work here get a lot of um... "inspiration" to come up with these creative flavor combos lol. Extra credit for their rotating roster of flavors ensuring something diffrent every time. I had the classic Chocolate which was perfect; rich but not overly sweet. I always feel the classics are a good standard to measure by; if they cany get chocolate and vanilla right, what's the point? The Lava cake was bombbb!!! I could have happily died eating that cake! It was a little pricey at $8, but it was so rich, it could be a sharable portion. This ice cream stand is gentrification at it's best. Located in Ocean Hill/Brownsville, this is not exactly the parts of Brooklyn favored by shows like Girls and Broad City and I that's just the way I like it. The set up with the benches and umbrellas creates a nice community vibe that's relaxed since there's no rush of tourists. This ice cream stand is quintessentially summertime in Brooklyn and I'm glad that we have it.

Cannot state how amazing this ice cream place is! The only downside is they're seasonal. But all summer long until Thanksgiving you know I'll be here every weekend picking up a scope and shoving it in my gullet. Every flavor I've tried is outstanding, as the customer service at the window. The guys are friendly, easy to talk to, and will give you a sample of anything you desire. Beware of the ice cream sandwich, it is huge. Like the opposite of Trump's hands huge. Definitely could feed two people, and you can get multiple flavors in one if you're feeling frisky.

This is my go to place when I'm in the mood for ice cream. I'm only ten minutes away driving and I make it my mission to stop here at least once every weekend that they're open. I put every single one of my friends on to this spot and I encourage all of you ice cream lovers to do so as well! My favorite flavors: Matcha green tea Earl grey lavender Strawberry Peanut butter swirl Cookies n cream Mango sorbet Pear sorbet Every week there's at least 1 new flavor they add on to the board every weekend so it's always a nice surprise to see what they have available next. Lady Moo Moo always hits it out the park with their flavors, even the basic strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla. I advise you guys try samples bc you wont know which one to choose! PS: what I love most about Lady Moo Moo other than their ridiculously good ice cream is their always friendly workers. Nicest people ever :)

I got the earl grey lavender and cookies & cream. It was delicious! I rarely review places because I get lazy but I really wanted people to come try this place out. It's only open Friday-Sunday and it's cash only so take your cash!

The ice cream here is beyond delicious. I like the green tea and honey ice cream. Those are my favorites but they're all great. They're made on premises. Only open weekends I believe thrus, Friday , sat, Sunday. Closed during the winter months. They have an Instagram and they post updates there

This may well be the fluffiest ice cream I've ever tasted. As I write this, am trying to decide if that's a good or bad thing: You see, the light, ultra airy ice cream here reminded me of Edy's Slow-Churned (French Silk forever; artificial additives be damned!). Alas, though, it wasn't as smooth 'n creamy as Edy's... Wound up going with Lavender-Earl Grey. Many places either go overboard with lavender or use it too timidly. This was a lovely, perfect balance. The tea flavor peaked through too, but lavender definitely dominated. For me, this and all the other flavors I sampled were a bit too sweet. Hubby, however, who went with Pumpkin-Cookie Butter, was happy with the level of sweetness, so I may well be an outlier, as per usual. It goes without saying that the kid enjoyed his pick of Cookies 'n Cream. Fwiw, the sugar cone I was given was several notches above the 'stale & bland Joy cone' that George C. describes. So maybe that is something that has changed for the better. This spot, located, if memory serves, along a random residential block in the heart of Bed Stuy, consists pretty much of a takeout window. I got the sense that it is a pioneering effort to bring an artisanal product to the immediate area; artisanal in that it is hand-crafted, but not, happily, in terms of pricing. My regular scoop of ice cream was $4, which is pretty reasonable in relative NYC terms. Plus, it was so generous that I couldn't finish it. I believe a kiddie size is available for less. The dude who helped us was super chill (get it?), patiently allowing us to try as many flavors as we requested. (Try doing that at Ample Hills!). Ulimately, if you don't live within the vicinity, am not going to tell you to travel out of your way. But if it's not a total pain in the a _s to get here, then I'd say it's a worthy stop if you're at all into ice cream. ps CASH ONLY

You ever stumble across a business with people so wholesome and food so good that you *happily* spend your money? Call me crazy, but I feel like the ice cream here is just that good. There is something so wonderfully delightful about this local ice cream spot. For starters, they offer samples and don't judge you for requesting some. Secondly, they have some pretty unique flavors (like Honey, Cookies and COWfee, Lavender Earl Grey) in addition to the classic staples (vanilla, choc, strawberry). I used to trek to OddFellows and Van Leeuwan's for my fix of interesting flavors, but these guys seem to appreciate the finer art of ice cream making as well. I wound up getting the Cookies and COWfee and Honey and both were divine. Thirdly, and this may be just as important as the actual taste, it is decently priced. $6 for two scoops of creamy ice cream is pretty solid in my books. FYI - during the pandemic they allow you to pay via Venmo which is absolutely brilliant and reduces unnecessary common contact.

Lady Moo Moo Ice cream is one of Bk gems. I can't say hidden because I have a feeling this ice cream Eatery will explode onto the scene. I was shocked to learn that this place has been open for two years now. For the last two months I was intrigued to go. When I typed best ice cream in BK Lady Moo was at the top of the list with others Like Oddfellows . Given the distance that it wasn't too far from the Jackie Robinson I had to give this place a visit. I have to say I wasn't disappointed. This store front shop that features unique tasting flavors that I was able to try all with the sample spoons except the flavors with peanuts in it (allergic ). Two flavors stood out and blew my mind the Earl Grey and Green Tea ice cream. Heaven on a cone! This place is so good and the switch up the flavors each month so I will definitely be back to explore new try. Give it a try!

Lady Moo Moo is one of my favorite ice cream spots in New York and is conveniently located by my apartment. I usually get the Earl Grey Lavendar ice cream, the Earl Grey part is subtle and the Lavender is the stronger taste. Being that I love lavender everything, this is my go-to. Today I had the strawberry flavor and it did not disappoint! There's something really special about this small-batch ice cream and the staff is so friendly.

HUGE scoops of ice cream. I got lavender earl gray and chocolate - both were really good. My wife had chocolate and strawberry - also great. And huge! I see that there has been some confusion around when this spot is actually open. We were there at 4pm on a summer Sunday.
