The Hit List: New Mexico City Restaurants To Try Right Now - Mexico City - The Infatuation
"This Thai food stall, named in honor of a late chef and friend of the owners, is the city’s latest sensation—and it’s easy to understand why. The bold, zesty, herby flavors of their street food dishes are mesmerizing. Diners huddle around the stand—which is adorned with neon lights and an array of sauce bottles on the shelves—to eat tum khao pod, a spicy corn salad, and marinated spicy pork and coconut rice, and then counter the burn with a non-alcoholic Colima Cero beer (food trucks can’t serve liquor). Head to this Roma Norte spot before heading to one of the many bars in the area—just make sure to grab a picture inside the tuk tuk that’s usually parked in front before you leave." - guillaume guevara

Some of the best food I had during my stay in Mexico City and some of the best Thai food I’ve had ever. It was absolutely delicious and the service was quick and friendly. I waited about 20 minutes and then got my food within 10 minutes of being shown a spot at the counter. Will be recommending this spot to everyone

It’s an excellent place to discover the Thai food, the chef is very polite and the food tastes great. You have to arrive early ‘cause the waiting time sometimes it’s a lot, but it’s was totally worth it. The mango with rice it’s amazing I ordered 3 times.

We found this spot one night when walking back to our house. We wanted to do a take out but weren't able to do so, becuase they didn't have the to go containers. Which is alright ! We came the next day, waited for about 10 mins and got the spot. We got the somtam and the chicken on the stick (forgot the name of the dish). I really liked them both ! Service were nice and friendly!

Pretty good meal, we went at a time where there wasn't a ton of people which certainly helped, I'm not sure how keen I'd be if we had to wait in line. Decent, but could be spicier honestly.

I have to say that the flavors were excellent, but the portion sizes were quite small (especially considering the price, which is a lot for a street food stand). What should have been the size of a main dish seemed more like the size of a starter. But then again this is Roma Norte so not surprising
3/5 for the portion size and at that price level (also the food was not hot enough: Khao Suey should be served hot but it was lukewarm at best)
5/5 for the flavour!
So I guess if you are having a craving it’s great to go here because the flavours will make you think of Thailand, but you’ll definitely need more food afterwards.

The food is a nice experience, flavors are mixed and special, for my taste they were a bit sweet but it's up to each one, the service is great although it's a small stand in the street, in general a good experience you should try

The pork jowl was pretty good and spicy. The khao soi was quite disappointing. The noodles and soup lacked the flavour you’d find at other Thai restaurants.

The food was not bad but doesn’t really taste authentic
Quite delicious tho worthy of a try
There’s almost always a line there so be there early
Would be better if they offer some Thai drinks!
