"This Thai food stall, named in honor of a late chef and friend of the owners, is the city’s latest sensation—and it’s easy to understand why. The bold, zesty, herby flavors of their street food dishes are mesmerizing. Diners huddle around the stand—which is adorned with neon lights and an array of sauce bottles on the shelves—to eat tum khao pod, a spicy corn salad, and marinated spicy pork and coconut rice, and then counter the burn with a non-alcoholic Colima Cero beer (food trucks can’t serve liquor).
