"This minimalist restaurant, an outpost of the famous Yam'Tcha, stands at the foot of Église St-Eustache. It serves simple and fragrant Chinese cuisine made with carefully selected seasonal ingredients. The concise menu features dim sum and bao with bold flavours, at affordable prices. Don't miss the Imperial beef stir-fry or the delicious fresh house-made noodles with minced pork, peanuts and Sichuan pepper. Home-cooked cuisine that takes you on a journey, for an interlude of exotic culinary pleasure." - Michelin Inspector

With no doubt really delicious dumplings and baos. Tasty and prepared with care. The staff is also really nice, but even for Paris standards, the price seems to be a bit over the top. If you are okay with that and still want dumplings, you won’t go wrong with this place!

Brilliant fusion. A lot more nuanced than what we'd find in New York. Flavors a bit more considered, some combos I've never tasted. Home spun wabi sabi presentation. Friendly staff. Not sure if other low-star reviews came on off days? Pricey, but worth the effort. Dan Dan Noodles. Pearl dessert. Yum.

It’s the second restaurant of the Michelin star chef at YamTcha. The 🥟 dim sum are nice, the dessert as well. It’s very good for the price. Waitress was very nice and helpful. If you follow me, do not expect a Michelin star level, it’s not. But for the price it’s really great. Follow me for all the Michelin Stars in Paris ( and more)

Only the atmosphere was good. The food was average, or maybe too fusion-style and lost its soul. The staff had a somewhat unusual attitude—maybe they’re too proud and came off as arrogant. We visited in winter, and the front door was supposed to close easily but didn’t. Nine out of ten customers managed to close it properly. We had already walked into the middle of the restaurant when a staff member, in a rather impolite tone, asked us to go back and close the door ourselves.

Google
Don't understand why it's only got 4.3 so far. Our experience was absolutely amazing, and that's despite the discomfort caused by the lack of AC during a heat wave. Yes it is "fusion" but the chef executed all the basics perfectly (e.g. the dumpling skin and the rice), so the invention & creation have solid grounds. The latter part might be a bit controversial. If you come and expect authentic flavors of any specific Asian region, you won't find your comfort, but it absolutely worked for us.

Visited Lai’Tcha with high expectations but left disappointed. The service was disengaged, and the food did not meet expectations; it was nothing special. The atmosphere was pleasant, but it did not compensate for the subpar food and service. Overall, it is not worth the price.

We happened to pass by the place on our way to lunch and was attracted by the fusion look. Entering the restaurant, I recognized immediately the chef from Yam’Tcha and her husband, so decided to change our destination. Today is Sunday so we had the brunch menu. The starters were brioche, served in two versions: the Cantonese version (polo bao) with caramel and fruit confit dips, and a la française with cheese and bellota ham. The brioche went very well with caramel even though after a few bites it became slightly too sweet for me. Then I had clams porridge, paired with roast winter vegetables. The taste of the porridge is authentic Chinese but somehow lacked character. The vegetables were tasty thanks to its sauce which embodied the idea of fusion. The next dish was pork belly sandwich. The pork was very well cooked and had a nice proportion of fat and lean meat. Dessert was sticky rice pudding paired with yuzu and grenadine. Overall, the price/quality of the dishes slightly missed my expectation but am willing to come back for the cozy environment and good service.

Visited yamtcha and boutique yamtcha already ! This new cafe has interesting concept - providing both take out and eat in service. I had the discovery menu which is a bit over priced comparing to other a la carte. I suggest to order one main , one side and a rice that should be quite enough for one person ( around 25-30eueos ) The discovery menu(40euros) is not bad , the Sichuan beef salad and the white asparagus is really yummy. The ravioli is not warm enough and the lamb massaman curry is missing a kick in the flavor. I think There is still some fine tuning to do here. However I think if all these food are available to take away , it is one of the best Asian take away lunch indeed because the meat and vegetables are very high quality here. Also it's much cheaper to take out than eating in. They told me that the menu change frequently it will be interesting to see what they have available in few weeks ! But to eat in I still prefer lunch menu at boutique yamtcha..! It's more reasonably priced and super delicious.

Yelp
The food was delicious and everything was nuanced with subtle flavors. For example, one condiment is house made smoke sriracha. The noodles are hand pulled and the dumplings are also fresh made. It's economical considering Adeline's other restaurant is around €170 a person. We walked out having paid €140 for 4, and we ate very well. It's a tiny noodle shop so make a reservation if you're heading out at normal dinner times. They also offer take away, a great option.

Yelp
On our last night in Paris, we decided to go a little untraditional and try Adeline Grattard and Chi Wah Chan's newest restaurant (open for just 6 months). Set in a beautiful little neighborhood with indoor and outdoor seating, and lovely service... not too far from the their two restaurants featured in Netflix's Chef's Table (Restaurant yam'Tcha and Boutique yam'Tcha). We are born and raised San Franciscans with Cantonese heritage and I'll just say... we were in heaven. Having already visited the Boutique, we already had high expectations and were definitely not disappointed. For three hungry people, we ordered the 5 tapas surprise, about 5 additional dishes, 2 traditional hot lai'tchas, and a peach juice for about €110. The octopus and black pudding won tons were excellent, as were the fish cake and the chicken curry. Everything we ordered down to the beverages made for a wonderful and beautiful Pan-Asian experience...one with obvious French care for ingredients and preparation. Get here before it's too popular to find a seat! (Tip: they don't seat past 7 or 7:30 so don't plan to get there less than an hour or so before closing) Emoric...I apologize for what I'm sure is an incorrect recollection of your name... your caring and informative service was such a treat. Thank you for making this last meal our favorite all week!

Yelp
ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! We stumbled upon this cafe and immediately had to eat here after setting eyes on it. We were immediately seated outside and our server was incredibly patient with my group not speaking French. We all did the prefixed menu and everything we had was delicious. I recommend this place to everyone! My absolute favorite was their caramel! Loved it so much I bought a jar to take back to the states, I should have bought 5! The raw cream was SO delicious and so fresh!! I believe one of the servers mentioned it was from Normandy (?)

Yelp
Same owners as Yam T'cha down the street (as featured on netflix Chef's Table. This place is awesome because its in between the other two, menu-wise. Not fine dining but many more options than just bao, dumplings and tea! Excellent selection of south east asian/hong kong/indian ocean cuisine that is rare to find in Paris in a tapas style, fun, casual atmosphere.

Yelp
We went to this place after been unable to get a table a Yam'Tcha and the hostess said this is also owned by the same chef. The food was excellent with a large variety of dishes to choose from. They have also a menu for 40 euros in which the chef will choose 5-6 items for you and it is a very generous portion that can feed up to two if you aren't too hungry. The staff is very friendly and if you are lucky you might even see the chef on her way to her office.

Yelp
Let me preface this with the fact that I lived in SF and I am spoiled when it comes to Asian cuisine. But this is a no go. the place is pretty and has decent food, but there is nothing exciting about it. Nothing creative, nothing new, nothing mastered, nothing out of the ordinary but the Bill. The prices are super high for what your getting, 2 chicken skewers for 12 euros with no rice or anything? Serious? 6 euro for a cup of tea? I love that they want to do an asian tapas concept. But seriously thats called Dim Sum, not new. Here's the other thing, this review is meant for people in Paris, that live here. if you are visiting, why on earth would you have a cuisine not native to the continent? I can see Italian or German, Spanish, but Asian food in France is pathetic. Vietnamese of course is different but we aren't talking about that right now. I love food. I love exploring, But this was a sad waste of tie and I don't want to do their fine dining now because i can see I will be overcharged and leave hungry. Service was great, atmosphere and location good. The food wasn't bad, but it just wasn't noteworthy. Save your time and energy, support a business that doesn't want to rob you. Sorry folks, I was disappointed. I have gone to other Tapas places and paid the same and was happy to do so, because it was really exceptional and innovative. This is not.
