A 24 Hour Itinerary to Eating at the Best Restaurants in Charlevoix’s Baie-Saint-Paul and La Malbaie | Eater Montreal
"For cheese lovers I make a pilgrimage to 75-year-old Laiterie Charlevoix — I come prepared with a cooler and ice packs to stock up on soft and washed-rind cheeses, cheddars, cendrés, and curds for the road." - Ivy Lerner-Frank
Beautiful place, lots of different products from local producers. They have a big place for eating, resting. The small museum in the back is very nice

Lots of local dairy products, cow and goat cheeses, hard and soft, and other local treats. Some ready to eat right away, but other than many many curds (poutine obviously!), Most of our purchases needed the cold pack!

Beautiful place to make a quick stop and eat delicious on a picnic table. We got the hotdog, the fried chicken and french fries with an artisanal cola. Everything is prepared with local products. Dogs are welcome in the picnic area.

Loved loved loved the meal my family had for lunch at the food truck! Delicious, fresh ingredients. The service was impeccable. The tomato salad was beautifully delicious. The cheeseburgers were scrumptious and the poutine was on point! I highly recommend the spot as it also values local ingredients including the cheese. Bravo to the team behind the idea!!

Great service, they offer many products from other retailers as well. A nice girl allowed us to taste half a dozen cheeses, and they were delicious, winners of many prizes. Prices are not exorbitant either.

Yelp
This is a Later-Yelp for their location at Le Grand Marche de Quebec. We ate an excellent chevre camarade and magie de madawaska here for a bread and cheese lunch at the Grand Marche. I absolutely look forward to coming to the laiterie and sampling more of their cheese.

Yelp
Definitely with a drive from Quebec City. Call ahead to schedule a tour. The museum is really cool to check out. The people that work here certainly have a passion for what they do. There is an operating biogas plant for processing the milk reject. Awesome experience all around.

Yelp
This is the place to stock up on Charlevoix specialties such as cheese, tarts, pates, breads, and beers. Plus, you can watch the cheese magic through the window, and they recently hosted a "Terroir" exhibit with vendors proudly discussing their products and generously offering samples. Tarte Grand-mere is delicious!!
