I am actually really impressed. I’ve been looking for a closer pizza place as my favorite spot is a bit further out and it’s safe to say, I found my new go-to pizza place. I love how thin and crispy the pizza is! Also the mozzarella were incredible! Flavor and breading are both so good! I’m so happy right now that I tried them.

Very welcoming. nice live music. great customer service. excellent food, and great smiles. Plenty of parking and a definite come back to. This is my second time . And as welcoming as the first time . The customers all are enjoying a family environment and it’s glad o see how food brings everyone together. A smile on everyone’s face not just cause the environment but the great tasting food . Even the workers in the kitchen from this corner of the bar , they have a smile in their face . I truly recommend this place to those that enjoy great food and great time .. Dr Collazo

This restaurant has really good food. The pizza is hand tossed and the garlic knot sandwiches are really really good. The young man that waited on us was an asset to the business. He was on spot! Good place to go!

I truly found my favorite Italian restaurant in Port Saint Lucie! April, Mike and the entire staff are very welcoming! We feel like family! They have live music as well. I personally recommend the pops meatballs for an appetizer! They are to die for! No matter what pizza you choose, you will not go wrong. They have a nice thin crust. My personal favorite is the sausage topping. And the staff, they are awesome!! Shoutout to TJ. Amazing attention to detail and on top of everything! He gave us his recommendations and can I just say he mixed the perfect Ice Tea!! And when we were fighting up we were not rushing out. He took care of any last minute needs and boxed my wife’’s leftovers. I could go on about this experience and others but this would turn into a book. So if you are in the area, stop by and give them a try! Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed!

First time here are server was Samantha and she was so kind what a great attitude. We started with the meatballs as an appetizer and then went with the short rib pizza and the tiramisu for dessert which I would go there for just that to be honest it was delicious if you're looking for a great place to eat this is it. The pizza was thin and crunchy. We each got a garlic knot roll cuz we wanted to try them. We had one meatball each but if you got more you can make a meal out of it, yummy. Tiramisu was homemade some of the best I've had outstanding

I was recommended to try this place. It’s in a strip store front. very charming inside. we were greeted. We were greeted one of the servers , Told we could sit anywhere we wanted. Megan was our server who was very helpful with the menu, and trust me we asked to many questions. My friends earlier knew the owner’s mom who makes all the pastry from scratch every mor. Her name is Carmela and she is just the sweetest Italian woman you’ve ever met. She even sent a pie pizza over to us on the house which we told her wasn’t necessary, but she insisted she could not have been more warm and friendly and so generous. . so with that being said we certainly did not need any appetizers. The pizza was cooked. Perfectly crust is very thin, nice and crispy. Lots of cheese fresh mozzarella, The garlic knot s are so big, garlicy, I could of just ate them with a bowl of the fresh marinara sauce and I would’ve been happy but anyway I ordered the calzone with meatballs inside which came with ricotta cheese that was so creamy and thin slices of meatballs, , my friend ordered the white sauce with clams and linguine that was cooked perfectly. The clams were nice size and not chewy at all. I kept dunking the garlic knot in her sauce. My other girlfriend ordered the shrimp scampi, which also was full of flavor, not two garlic, but just enough big huge servings . We were so full you could’ve rolled us out of there. of course we had to try the hot apple pie dish, that’s not the correct name of it , Trust me you’ve got to get it. Let me tell you it was the best crust I’ve ever had in my life, the whole dish had such a unique flavor like I don’t know how to describe it, but I’m not a crust person and I couldn’t stop eating the whole darn thing. I just want to think Carletta for having such a beautiful family and for being so generous with us. I also have tried her cheesecake that is got the citrus flavor to it. You have to go there and try it. I can’t even describe it, but everything was like you were in Italy eaten dinner. Megan went beyond putting up with us asking 1000 questions ordering this getting stuff to go. We drove her insane she had patience of a saint so thank you Megan. A big shout out to you and I forgot the what’s his name the I think his name is Marcus the bartender he is so handsome so sweet patient with us also and the whole restaurant is somehow related in the family. I’ve never seen anything like it, but everyone could not have been more kind if that’s even a word as we were leaving Michael, the owner was walking and he went out of his way to make sure we all had a fun delicious mealso all I can say is give this place a try you’ll thank me, oh I also forgot we had shrimp bisque soup. so yummy. We all took a bowl home with us ❤️

Google
Pizza Lovers, must try🥰 Highly recommend trying their Garlic Knots, extremely lite with a crispy layer! Meatballs, yummy, try it out. We ordered a 14" Half Pep./Buffalo Chicken and was decent. Crust was amazing and layer was a little on the flimsy side but still good! Peroni on draft🤪 Service was so warm & friendly 🙏🤩

Google
Recommend restaurant in Port St. Lucie! The service was good, all the staff very welcome and kind. Always paying attention to us. The food was delicious. We tried the garlic knots, pizza (own customized) and meatball calzone. Good timing, good temperature, fresh and very good flavors. Good value/cost too. Tip: save some pizza leftovers for next day, it tastes really good at breakfast hahaha.

Yelp
Great Atmosphere Best Pizza that I have found in Florida to date Being from New England I'm use to Excellent Pizza this is the most acceptable

Yelp
Pizza was delicious and the wings were good! I would give it 5 stars but we did see a little cockroach running toward the exit from the bar area. He was leaving though so that was nice of him lol it is Florida so I know these things can happen especially when it's raining a lot, bugs tend to go indoors. Hoping this isn't an infestation issue because we finished our meal regardless of the little guy.

Yelp
My husband and I ate there for the first time last night. When we got there, the restaurant was empty which I would normally consider a bad sign. But the tables quickly filled shortly after we arrived. The server was very good! She was sweet and bubbly. We both ordered salads and the were very fresh and crispy. The dressing was served on the side which is always my preference. My husband ordered the Penne Bolognese and I ordered the New York Knotwich. Both were delicious and very generous portions! There was music playing in the background and it was at just the right volume. We could carry on a conversation without yelling. We will definitely be going back for the pizza. It really looked amazing. All and all a very good dining experience.

Yelp
Italian friends recommended LaMattina to us recently so we had to try it. It was very good. The pizza is New York style with tangy sauce and great crust. We will go back again as we ordered a take out pepperoni and anchovy pizza and then ran some errands. It was cold and our fault but this deserves to be eaten hot. The restaurant is nice and new looking, with a relaxed vibe. The young lady at the counter and pizza chef were both very friendly. Give it a shot!

Yelp
At LaMattina's no matter what you order your going to be happy. Chris the pizza guy is FANTASTIC, his pizza is always delicious. The servers Marcus,Erin, Sami, Heather, Anita and Lauren are so friendly and accommodating. LaMattina IS SLSO VERY, very clean. My BFF and I go to LaMattina's at least 3-4 time a month. I love LaMattina's

Yelp
Service, food and ambiance great. The pizza, wedge salad and chicken Parmesan the best.

Yelp
Return visits have been mostly positive. Tried the Stromboli and it gets a high grade. Very full with a diversity of ingredients in a crusty baked dough. However on a recent visit, service suffered because of two large parties (one was a birthday party for the owner's relative). Our wait took a back seat to the bigger orders. My particular order of the fettuccine Alfredo ($23.95) was bland in flavor and runny in consistency. And definitely not worth the price. Skip it. My wife's penne al la vodka was just so- so and maybe suffered from the deluge of others' orders but that should not be an excuse. I hope this recent visit was a one- off because we have enjoyed most of our menu selections.

Yelp
We just ate here for the first time and it was beyond superb! This is a local family owned restaurant; we were welcomed with open arms the minute we walked in the door. As we ate our dinner, we were introduced to several family members. The portion sizes were enormous and tasted like they were prepared in grandma's kitchen. The food arrived piping hot and fresh. Entrees included the signature garlic knotwich with meatballs and Shrimp scampi linguini. We topped off our meal with "Mom's apple pie skillet" a la mode. This is truly a hidden gem in Port Saint Lucie. It's a standout in this community and locally owned. Try it and spread the word!

Dawna H.

Yelp
Very pleasantly surprised. My husband got pizza, he's very particular and they made it just the way he likes it. I had the muffuletta garlic knot sandwich with pasta salad, both were yummy. Had to bring half the sandwich home. Our server Haylie was terrific. That girl was hopping busy and she was on top of everything. It's a very comfy place too.
google avatar

Yelp
Kid friendly and vegetarian friendly. The pizza is consistent. Service lately has been hit or miss, and long wait times on the weekends. My dine in experience turned into a to go order for a medium pizza that never came. Not sure what happened but with a a small kid in tow you can only wait so long. They are heavily staffed which is good, but they were more avoidant and not very proactive. Wish they were more attentive.

Yelp
This is the real deal!!! While I will admit I know the family who owns it, I went 3 times with completely different people to ensure a balanced review. This is a true family owned and operated restaurant - any given day you will see 2-3 generations contributing to all aspects of the operation. This is in a new plaza in the entrance to the Torino area, and is our new favorite place. From pizza, to wings (hubby highly recommends the mango habanero), to salads, calamari, and THE BEST KNOTS ANYWHERE!!!!! My husband loved the Muffaletta Knotwich, though the meat could have been slightly warmer - and he's a Cajun who can cook, so doesn't give compliments if they're not deserved. *reheated in the air fryer is even better! There is indoor and outdoor seating, and while it's a cozy space, we've never felt crowded. The wall by the bar has 3 big TVs, the kids can color on the tables with chalk (as can the adults!), and you can watch them cooking in the oven right in front of you. We didn't get to try the app-driven jukebox, but will next time. The service is always good - the food always arrives timely, and is hot, and fresh! There is a lot of menu left to explore, so we'll be back soon, and hope to see you there!!!

Yelp
I was on a date night with my wife, so I decided to take her to this hidden gem Lamattina 's ! As soon as I opened the door into the restaurant, I was greeted by staff (Heather) who was amazing ! The pizza was delicious and fresh. The restaurant was busy and festive! ! Kitchen was very organized and the bathrooms were clean. I am definitely going back! Soon

Yelp
Amazing Place! On a recent trip to Port Saint Lucie FL we found ourselves looking to try out some of the locals favorite restaurants. I had screen shot several interesting recommendations from a PSL Facebook page. LaMattina's won first pick for our first night in town. And.... It did NOT disappoint! So.... Let's review: Walked in and were greeted promptly, sat at a high-top. Our waitress/bartender "Heather" gave us menus and took our drink order. It was a Tuesday night and this place was full (good sign). Heather was spot on.... Attentive to our requests and never had us waiting. The restaurant was clean... bathrooms clean! Food: Appetizer, fried calamari with a creamy dipping sauce.... Truly Devine I ordered the Knotwich eggplant Parmesan sandwich with cold Italian pasta salad. The Knotwich is a huge garlic knot ..... OMG, garlicky goodness, lightly roasted, and top dusted with parmesan cheese. Inside were layers of eggplant parmesan& a lovely tomato sauce. This thing is HUGE!! .... A great item to share. The pasta salad was lite & refreshing. My wife ordered spaghetti with a meatball.... Ok, so giant meatball! Meatballs go one or two ways...Great or Not so Great. This one was GREAT! A true old school of the boat Italian meatball. The sauce had super tomato flavor... not too sweet, not too heavy on the Italian spice.... Perfect recipe! This is another dish that you could share because the portion was very generous. We give LaMattina's 5 out of 5 Mai Tai's from our Restaurant Mia Tai rating scale: 1. Restaurant cleanliness & ambiance 2. Service : personable & professional 3. Menu offerings 4. Meals ordered..., outstanding 5. Price point/quality of ingredients This place is a standout locally family owned restaurant in PSL.... Do not miss out... go out and dine there!!!

Yelp
We ordered take out, but the dining room was full...and it's for good reason. The food here is great! I highly recommend the meatballs...outstanding (says the Italian from Jersey). The pizza is also very good. I ordered a meatball parmigiana sub and it was delicious as well. The order was ready when they said it would, so great service as well. I highly recommend this restaurant, for dine in or take out.

Yelp
Great pizza my kids are tough critics and they loved the pizza and calamari graeat service too!!
google avatar

Joey R.

Yelp
Great pizza! Service is great too. The LED lighting could improve but overall good atmosphere.

Marisa Sobel ..

Yelp
The service was so fast and everyone was nice. The food was delicious, especially the garlic knots
google avatar

Katrina M.

Yelp
Feels family owned. We had the knot sandwiches which were larger than I expected. Very delicious, garlicky and full of flavor!! The salad was fresh and large enough to share for two people. If I lived closer I would return to try out the other options on the menu because everything sounded amazing!!

Victor P.

Yelp
The pizza here is solid! Very delicious and it's close to home which is awesome! Only complaint is that I wish that large pie was a bit larger but it's definitely delicious! Outstanding pizza!
google avatar

Jeremy D.

Yelp
Had a wonderful dinner sitting at the bar where the guys make the pizzas. Evidently no one ever sits there, but we really loved it and our kids thought it was the best thing ever to watch them through the pizza dough and make the pizzas right in front of them. Delicious food
google avatar

Piper B.

Yelp
My sandwich was very good! I had a pickup order it was ready in under 10 mins. The staff was very nice i was helped by 2 people during my pickup. The bread was fantastic had tons of flavor it was like a giant garlic knot. only reason i gave 4 stars was because it has a too much broccoli for my liking had to pull quite a bit of it off since it was a little over bearing

Renee S.

Yelp
Food is amazing!!!! Service from Marcus was great!!! If your looking for deserts grandma makes the best !!!!!!!!

Susana F.

Yelp
The food was spectacular! We ordered a short rib knotwitch, beet salad, and lasagna. Everyone was delighted with the taste and portion size. Service was helpful and pleasant. Highly recommend!

Paul U.

Yelp
Okay! Late post. We had dinner here last night. The meatball appetizer was nothing short of amazing. Got two pizzas, a supreme and a deep dish, best pizza in a long time. The deep dish was called 18th Avenue. The whole table agreed on the quality of the pies! Ambiance was really nice. Welcoming bar. They had Italian beer on tap. Service was great. Very nice!!! Recommend!!!

Yelp
We went back to LaMattina Trattoria & Pizza this evening after our last enjoyable meal. April greeted us like we were old friends, (we love that!) and sat us down right away. We started with the sausage and broccoli raab appetizer, great choice. One of the specials was a burrata ravioli with a bolognese sauce, (delish) a nice portion considering they're big! My friend ordered the chicken francais which he enjoyed too. Glad we went again, love the owner April, she makes you feel so special, while her husband is behind the counter making pizza, it's a family affair there. Nice when you find a good restaurant in your town.

Rachel B.

Yelp
As Italians that love to cook, we never eat out for Sunday family dinner but we were traveling and luckily found this place. The meatballs were perfect, the garlic knot sandwich (and fries!) were delicious, and my 3 year old son loved everything too. We got a pizza to take home that I can't wait to try. The family was welcoming, kind and generous. Wish we lived closer!
google avatar

Deane P.

Yelp
We ordered a pizza from this place and was disappointed based on the reviews. The minute I see them baking the Pizza on a screen, I know it is not going to be the best. The cheese had no flavor and the sauce was flat. We will not be ordering from there again.
google avatar

Leticia B.

Yelp
A small little quaint location, and yet, warm, fresh, delicious Italian food you'd expect to see at your favorite Italian eatery. The service was spectacular, quick and kind. They are clearly family owned and so wonderful at working together to make this restaurant thrive. I highly recommend the garlic knots!! The size of a baseball and so airy! What a great find!
google avatar

Kristi L.

Yelp
Amazing new pizza pasta joint. We have tried so many items. Buffalo chicken and vodka pizzas are delicious. Crisp and fresh calamari. Let's not forget about Stromboli's and calzones bigger then your head. These calzones have real ricotta in them, not just mozzarella cheese. The prices are a little higher than normal but so worth it.
google avatar

Alexandra R.

Yelp
My husband and I love this restaurant. The unique pizza combinations they have are delicious! We always sit outside and it is very relaxing and pretty. We go there with our toddler and they have chalkboard tables to keep the kiddos entertained. The service is always great and very friendly.
google avatar

Dee J.

Yelp
Wonderful food and even better service. What a treat and surprise! First off, a huge shoutout to Marcus, who was one of the best servers we've ever had. He was kind, funny, attentive (without hovering), engaging and helpful -- everyone in our party commented that Marcus was an exceptional server. Not too far behind was the excellent food; we had a variety of dishes -- from the house-made garlic knots (yum) and LatMattina house salad with burrata (yum) to the eggplant knotwich (yum) and LaMattina Stack (you know where this is going...yum). Oh, forgot to mention the french fries that came with the knotwich (yup...yum). Seriously, the food was delicious, the vibe was chill without any pressure to eat and leave and, as already mentioned, Marcus was the man! We wish we lived closer because LaMattina would be our go-to spot.

Yelp
This is officially our new pizza place. And we're so looking forward to much more. On the recommendation sf bartender April, we started with the meatballs. Those flew off the plate, so we ordered more while waiting for our Nonna pie. The meatballs are huge, extremely moist and savory. The sauce is impeccable and the dollop of whipped ricotta is exactly what you want to drag your ball through. Mangia! Next we're our calamari which we're prepared better than most. Tossed in fried peppers and mixed with rocket arugula, they almost tasted like health food (no greasy taste, at all). The pizza was perfection. Crisp, thin crust with amazing toppings. It was so difficult to choose, but Nonna won last night. The hubs was loving every morsel of his knotwich (I only tried the bread...drool...) and of course, leftover pizza the day after was devoured in our house. Along with beer and wine, a cool neighborhood vibe, lots of family on the floor, LaMattina's is where we'll be going to satisfy our Italian cravings from here on. Great place. Go get some!

Chris L.

Yelp
Terrible. Pizza was soggy and dry at the same time. It was just a chew from the low quality cheese. Rigatoni ala vodka. Was just macaroni and weak sauce. There was not one "1" piece of pancetta. And I asked for spaghetti and got linguini with my shitty chicken parm Forgot to add I paid 80+$ for two awful entries and one frozen pizza
google avatar

Renee I.

Yelp
Service was 5 stars food was almost 1. Alfredo was bitter and runny no cream or butter to it added grilled chicken so it was a $30 dish with a very bitter after taste couldn't eat it. Pasta fagioli was nothing more than salted broth and beans. Meatballs were more breadcrumbs than meat I would caution the hype behind the reviews. Pizza took a very long time, unfortunately was not worth waiting for! Waiter was amazing just doesn't have the right tools to work with.

Cynthia H.

Yelp
Great spot. The bartender/waiter was welcoming, cheerful and knew the menu. We immediately felt welcomed. It is clean and nicely appointed. It was our first time here and the food was delish. The garden salad was very fresh and a nice size. The pizza was very good and we will definitely go back to taste other dishes

John-Imre S.

Yelp
I don't care about how the food did or didn't taste, for some dude, who wasn't even my server to run my food to me and sexualize my food as he sets it down is unacceptable, immature and unprofessional. That individual is ether to young to be working around customers or too immature, ether way I wouldn't want someone who's so quick to make sexual comments be the face they see when they're being seated/served. Would recommend not going here if you'd like to be in a comfortable environment while you eat.

Garrett M.

Yelp
Amazing. You have to try the pizza and garlic knot sandwich!!! It was refreshing to see a men with items that I haven't see before. Good service and great food.

Charles M.

Yelp
From the food to the service everything was in point. Stopped on our way to Universal Studios on a whim and made sure to stop on the way back. Definitely recommend the knotwich's.

Emilie T.

Yelp
Passing by and picked this place from reviews. Did NOT disappoint. I had the beet salad, husband has the ceasar. Both delicious. The baby loved bites of the meatballs they were very tender. Pizza was good too, only complaint was it was a little salty (and I love salt) Great quick stop for a nice bite to eat. Would stop by again!
google avatar

Gail G.

Yelp
Great pizza and garlic knot's and everything best pizza in Port Saint Lucie. Thin crust and very tasty
google avatar

George L.

Yelp
Food was ok , service was fine no ambiance. Pizza was not as ordered. I guess because they are just starting out ! Not impressed , they need to work things out.

Jennifer T.

Yelp
Amazing pizza only exceeded by the great service!!! Eat the house specialty Nonon pizza with meatballs ricotta and prosciutto. The grilled romaine salad was great too. I can't wait to visit again!!!
google avatar

William-Cynthia N.

Yelp
BEST FOOD IN TOWN!! Everything is homemade and delicious. If you want genuine pizza this is your go to place. Service is impeccable and the atmosphere is perfect. Went there with a big group with kids and spent three hours enjoying our food, service and ambiance. You have got to try them. You will be back again and again.
google avatar

Eric S.

Yelp
Pizza was very good. We have ordered 3 times and it has been consistently good each time. Knots are also a must have. This is our new favorite local pizza shop.

Linda B. S.

Yelp
Best pizza I have had in Port St. Lucie ! Ambiance is neighborhood style but good hood for reasonable price. We been twice and will go again !
google avatar

Vinny I.

Yelp
We have been there twice since they opened and both times have exceeded expectations. First was for 2 pizza's for carry out, both hot, fresh and delicious. 2nd time for the bread knots, meatballs and a glass of vino. Bar staff was awesome.

Patti K.

Yelp
Another wonderful dinner at La Mattina's, exceptional service from Heather and hands down the best calamari ever!!!
google avatar

Justin P.

Yelp
I was excited to try this as people in our community were raving about it. We ordered take out. I ordered a pasta fagoli and it wasn't flavorful. It also was packed poorly and spilled in the bag. We also ordered a couple chicken dishes and they were supremely overpriced for the quality of food you're getting. Pizza was just meh. Probably won't be going again.

Dawn F.

Yelp
Fairly loud place not good if you're looking for a quiet dinner. We ordered a pizza which was pretty good but yet nothing to rant and rave over. Will not go back
