Country Inn Meier

We had an incredible dinner at Landgasthof Meier. We were seated in a cozy and intimate séparée with a window into the kitchen. The service was very attentive and welcoming and the food was a true delight. Flavorful, perfectly balanced and every dish was special in its own right. We especially recommend the crostini as appetizers -- a perfect blend of textures and flavors on a crunchy slice of baguette. The portion sizes were great and everything was extraordinarily fresh and served at the perfect temperature. We never had to wait very long for the next course or the next drink. All accolades are well deserved and we will come back in the spring, curious to see how the menu will have changed until then to reflect the season. 6/5 stars!

Had birthday dinner with my boyfriend here. Amazing food. Even the salad was better than city salads. It's pricey but not pretentious. It's worth the money. Expect to pay ~70 per person.

The food was amazing! Great kitchen! But unfortunately the empty plates and glasses were not cleaned in time ;( also the risotto was over-salted. My friend was left hungry. The schnitzel was amazing. Cozy atmosphere and very accommodating. Advice.

We have booked the New Year’s dinner at Meier well in advance. Unfortunately, the personnel gave us the table not in the restaurant but in the room which I assume is used for the office/conference room with the office chairs. This didn’t give us any festive feeling. As well we had to share the big table with another group of guests. The food was good, however the ambience ruined it all. Rather decline some reservations than downgrade the guest experience.

One of the best countryside restaurants in the region. All dishes are sourced from the very same village (or at least region), of very high quality, served in beautifully designed setting by the friendliest and most authentic staff.

The restaurant cultivates a warm atmosphere and the grounds boast plenty of natural beauty. The kitchen did a great job of elevating typical German dishes to an international standard. Great little gem tucked away in idyllic countryside.

Hands down best restaurant in the area. Great Bavarian food but also international kitchen. Kaiserschmarrn is the best I've had. Friendly staff, good atmosphere with outdoor and indoor dining tables. Must visit of you're in the area.

Meier is the perfect get away for our family on the weekend. Out of the city in a beautifully landscaped restaurant that cares for both the producers where they receive their produce from and the customer that is catered for in the most caring way by their staff and the owner himself (or his father!!!). If you care for high quality, local products and an excellent service/surrounding Meier is your place to go!
