The Best Philly Restaurants Where You Can Also Watch Sports

"You go to Landmark Americana in University City for some of the best wings in town, but you’re also there to watch a few games at the long bar or sit in their curved booths with all the TVs nearby. While their outdoor patio isn’t enormous, there are also a few TVs out there and a separate bar, so there’s pretty much no bad seat in the house. You could go for a burger or some baked chicken nachos, but the highlight here is a plate of garlic parmesan wings. They’re breaded, then submerged in a sweet and spicy sauce, topped with parmesan and garlic flakes, and each bite is more satisfying than a blowout Sixers win." - candis mclean

Landmark Americana Tap & Grill Review - University City - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Unlike the constant software upgrades for your phone, the wings at Landmark Americana should not be ignored. You can choose from ten options at the University City location, but the garlic parmesan wings are our favorite. They’re breaded, then submerged in a sweet and spicy sauce and topped with parmesan and garlic flakes. photo credit: Rachel Lerro" - Candis R. McLean

We enjoyed a lovely evening sitting outside at the bar, and I have to say, the Fruit Punch Paloma frozen drink was absolutely incredible! I ordered the lobster roll, and it was bomb, generously filled with lobster. My partner tried the jerk salad and found it good, although he felt it had a bit too much going on in terms of flavors. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely.

Google
The flavors in the food were outstanding and truly enjoyable. The wings make an excellent appetizer—highly recommended! The Garlic Parmesan wings were the best I've ever tasted, and the honey habanero flavor was equally impressive.

I’ve been here several times in the last decade between this location and the one they recently closed in Saint Joseph University. I loved the fries and wings but this visit was maybe my last. I took my bestie with me on a Friday afternoon to catch up after a long week. We ordered two cocktails the dragon punch and the old fashioned. We also ordered fries and wings. Both drinks were watery and horrible. I sent it back and just requested a bourbon straight. When I received the new drink the glass was filthy with food particles inside and outside the glass. The waiter was apologetic and I requested a plastic cup instead. When I received the plastic cup it had a small bug in it. As I brought the third drink to show the waiter our food came out but the experience was already ruined so I informed the manager and left without eating the appetizers. They need to change that bartender or how they do things or they will continue to loose customers.

Google
I went here for brunch and ordered the breakfast nachos and pancakes with berries compote. I enjoyed the crumbled sausage and cilantro sauce (i forgot whether it was cilantro queso or mayo) on top of it. The breakfast nachos portion size was great and on top of that college students get 50% off on Sundays (11AM-3PM I think, got to double check that yourself). Great food and prices. 3/23/25

Hello Jello

Google
Giving THREE stars because the food and service is always good..but I was a regular on 54th St Landmark that closed and why are the rules so different on Market St?... Me and my cousin have been going for years for the Chipotle Wings and the fact they are NOT discounted on Sundays at Market St is CRAZY!! 54th St was way busier and they got the job done every Sunday! Then when we get the wings there were only 8 per order when it used to be TEN..what on God's green earth are you guys doing? ...Come on guys atleast give us the TEN wings back if they're going to be full price!! Shout out to the bartender Julia.. she was a sweetheart!

Google
Landmark is an amazing restaurant! The food was outstanding, and our waitress was absolutely fantastic!! The entire staff are absolutely amazing and worked so hard to keep everybody happy!! I will definitely be recommending this restaurant and I’ll definitely be coming back again!!! We had a party of about 9 family members and we all had a great time!! Thank you again to the staff you guys are absolutely rocking it!!!

Google
I had never been to Landmark Americana before, so I was a little hesitant to go with my friend for lunch. However, when I got in there I was treated to an amazing experience. The staff were super attentive and made sure everything was right. The food was also fantastic, the burger was to die for, I def recommend it. Overall an amazing 10/10 experience, will def go again.

Google
I didn't actually eat here, but they were very polite about me, as a 9 months pregnant woman, using their restroom after the Wawa across the street rudely turned me away. The dining area and bar looked very nice and clean and the food smelled delicious. I definitely want to come back and try their food when I have more time!

Yelp
I was starving when I finally found a decent place to eat in Philly on a Saturday night after 10... I mean, it was so odd that all of the restaurants seem to close so early on a weekend night in a major metro city?! Pretty frustrating... Anyways, this was a sight for sore eyes. We ordered the cheesesteak egg rolls which I found were so good, until I sorta got turned off by the very last one seemingly being filled with "grissle" and almost being inedible...? But, the wrapper and the steak filling was well seasoned and I appreciated the peppery sauce that was on top. My chicken ranch wrap was honestly one of the best I've eaten. It was the perfect amount of chicken, that was well seasoned and cooked... great ratio of tomato and ranch dressing... the wrap itself was good. No complaints on the wrap, but the garlic parmesan fries were extremely salty. I liked the consistency and bite of the fries themselves but will keep that particular flavor option away.. it was just loaded with it. My sister loved her seafood dillas that came with shrimp, crab, and lobster. It seemed like all the real deal to both of us... no imitation, so that was impressive. We ordered ginger ale, which was super watered down... I guess they forgot to add enough syrup the fountain. On another note.... the bathroom was stinky and disgusting, which was really a turn off when I went to wash my hands before my food came... a note to management... But, service was friendly and efficient.

Yelp
Meh I've been here plenty of times before But, I knew it was a bad sign when I saw few people in there at 6PM on a Friday The food is still fine They've cut down on their menu a bit To their credit, they now take ALL Major Credit Cards But, their mixed drinks are too expensive and they charge a 20% "Service Fee". I'm always good for tipping 20%, usually on the Post-Tax amount, but I REFUSE to patronize businesses that FORCE me to do it. So, I probably won't be back anytime soon

Yelp
Drinks Overpriced, poor quality, delayed service from the host stand. Overall underwhelming. Server was nice, but the bar couldn't make 2 of the 3 drinks we ordered.
google avatar

Yelp
Came for the buffalo rolls and a good drink. Both hit the spot. Pretty solid rolls and not too greasy. Way too loud for me but I was also tired and had to remind myself it's a bar lol

Yelp
I haven't been to this location of Landmark in some time..now I see why...the wait staff are used to hustling students out of their funds w/dumb BS of not honoring Happy Hour prices and charging full menu prices when the bill comes! In our age of tech...taking pics of food..I clearly had my burger @ 6:50..ordered obviously before the 7p cutoff and when I disputed this charge..the wait staff blew me off! I had a great tip planned for this guy because he was generous with my group's drink orders, but after that blatant over reach..I pocketed my generous tip! The music bingo game made up for this disappointment...but I will not return to this location... If you do a look over my reviews...I rarely leave a 2-Star rating...it really is 1-Star for the treatment I received....Horrible!!

Yelp
Can sometimes take a while to get the check at the end of service but easily my favorite place to go for a bite on campus in University City. Each day has its own specials (marg Mondays and extended happy hour Thursdays are always a fave!). Never super crowded unless there's a game on. This was our first time trying the desserts, and I was craving exactly this! Lava cookie sundae and brownie sundae thing pictured below.

Yelp
It's been over 5 years since I've been to Landmark & the only reason I returned was because I was waiting for a friend and it was sweltering outside. Sat at the outside bar top during Happy Hour and it was decent service considering it wasn't busy yet. I enjoyed the frozen margarita and loved the sweet potato fries with the cinnamon butter. Service seemed to tapper off once my friend joined as the Korean Sticky boneless wings I ordered came out wrong, they gave be bone-in wings. Okay, they apologized and replaced for the correct wings with an extra couple pieces. Well when the wings came it must've summoned the fly patrol because so many flies and fruit flies came out. The wings had great flavor, but I stayed swatting flies away. Maybe the outside bar needs to be wiped down or something, but shooing flies in the muggy 80 degree weather was the nail I'm the coffin.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite spots and is on my weekly rotation. This place is underrated in my opinion. They have really good frozen drinks that are strong and delicious (I'm picky about frozen drinks because they can be too sweet or have minimal alcohol) and the service is so friendly! I always get the Cobb salad with chipotle ranch dressing. I love sitting around the patio, which they keep open as late in the season as possible (around November). I wish they would serve the frozen drinks year round because some people like them (speaking for a friend) 365 days of the year! They have 4 frozen drinks available: Froze, Pineapple Habanero, classic margarita, and fruit punch Paloma.

Yelp
Great food along with phenomenal customer service. We had a variety of food and drinks which was enjoyed by all. The background DJ music was a plus

Yelp
I went here with my varsity squash for nationals weekend. We walked in with no reservation, but they still seated our group of nine. The wait was a little while for our food, but service was great. I recommend the Thai chili wings and steakhouse burger (very juicy omg it leaked everywhere).

Yelp
I have eaten at Landmark Americana Tap & Grill many times and never thought to Yelp it! My son likes to eat here because he loves the appetizers. I love to try the different drinks‍ This particular visit was with my cousin. We kept saying we were going to meet up and hang out. We came to Landmark because it was close to her job. We sat at the bar and "perused" the menu. I always order: Watermelon Sugar Hi -- Watermelon vodka, Simple syrup, Pink Lemonade, Lime Juice Cheesesteak Egg Rolls -- sautéed onions & American cheese served with cherry pepper relish and sriracha ketchup Soft Pretzel Sticks -- served with sweet & spicy mustard, cinnamon butter and American cheese sauce We also ordered: Baked Chicken Nachos -- Corn tortillas, melted Cheddar, Monterey Jack & Gouda cheese topped with Chipotle cheese sauce, roasted chicken, corn, black beans, pico de gallo, jalapeños & cilantro sour cream We sat at the bar, drank, laughed, talked without being rushed to leave for other patrons. The bartender was a lovely young lady who kept our drinks filled (whether it was just plain water or actual drinks). My cousin and I said we were staying for just an hour or two, but that turned into FOUR hours. We played Music Bingo and won a total of $25 in Landmark Gift Cards. Our total bill was $150, but it was worth it to spend time with my cousin. My son definitely wants to return to use those gift cards

Yelp
Landmark actually has some of the best wings in Philly, especially and only if you LOVE hot hot hot wings. The I Dare You sauce is truly HOT and I love it. The wings are cooked nicely and the employees here are always nice. They have a bunch of things on the menu but I always get the wings. Heard the Philly cheese steak egg rolls are good! The ambiance is like a spaced out sports bar.

Yelp
Food is decent and generally good. Decent beer list. What I cannot tolerate is going in there with my wife and son and the restaurant automatically putting a 20% service charge. It's a low rent move.

Nicholas D.

Yelp
Took 45 minutes to receive first round of drinks and any food. No communication from staff why, it was not too busy. Auto include 20% tip with no comped items after a ridiculous wait.
google avatar

Yelp
Very friendly! Food was great came out quick and fresh. Portions are big, and they have free refills on soda and lemonade(fountain drinks). Please PLEASE keep in mind that they have a 20% SERVICE CHARGE.

Yelp
We can't stop ordering from here. We've only ordered here through DoorDash and it's been amazing. Always tastes great and is VERY hot still. Good portions. The mac and cheese is delicious!!! I don't know how they make it but normally when you reheat mac and cheese it separates, theirs does not. It stays creamy.

tim l.

Yelp
Food was good but the happy hour bartenders are terrible to look at and interact with. Go sit down somewhere outside the bar to enjoy yourself
google avatar

Allison B.

Yelp
I was shocked how much I liked it here. The service wasn't very good at all - so so slow. But the food exceeded expectations. We got a lot of food but I got the lobster Mac and it was filling and extremely creamy. Very very good. The nachos were to DIE for. Some of the best nachos I've ever had! Chips were fried and thick and everything on it was portioned well. Sometimes nachos get gross when they're overly topped with mushy guacamole and sour cream etc. these were baked to perfection. My boyfriends chicken Caesar wrap was amazing too and I usually hate chicken Caesar wraps. The chicken was breaded and so good. Fries are good maybe a little dry but I love a good crunchy fry.
google avatar

Anny Z.

Yelp
Food is just okay, but always has space for walk in and 25% off brunch with PennCard or Drexel ID. Room for big parties.
google avatar

Daniela D.

Yelp
First time trying this spot. It was pretty good. We ordered for delivery and they forgot our drinks but honestly we forgot all about our missing drinks once we ate the food. The ribs were tender and fall of the bone good. The pretzels were soft and warm and the dipping sauces were good. Def will be going there again!

Yelp
I haven't been to Landmark in over 5 years and I remember why. I always feel sticky when I dine in one of the restaurants (they have the Market St location and N 54th St). The service was fine. Our waitress was nothing special. She did come and ask if we wanted anything else so the three kids at my table ordered more lemonade. I ordered the chicken quesadilla with old bay fries and chicken tenders. The quesadilla had more tortilla than chicken and didn't come anything; no peppers, no salsa, no guacamole. Other restaurants I have been to come with the extras so their version of the quesadilla fell flat. To their credit, their menu tells you that it comes with honey mustard, sour cream, and American cheese sauce. The chicken tenders were basic and the fries were good. Not overly seasoned with old bay like Chickie Pete's so I enjoyed the fries. I asked for lemon to put in my water but was told they didn't have any but placed an order for fruit so they will have some in the restaurant soon. This just don't make any sense. There's a Restaurant Depot nearby, a supermarket, produce stores, and 9th St Italian Market with a plethora of fruit vendors. Heck drive down to the Wholesale Fruit warehouse on Essington Ave near the AutoMall.

Yelp
I visited with some friends for a late dinner at 9pm. The burger wasn't dry, but there was too much meat for me to enjoy the flavor of the other parts of the burger. The ambiance was nice. I would come back if someone in my party wanted to.

Matthew H.

Yelp
Food and service were fair if I'm being generous and my grain bowl was a joke and had cashews in it even though they're not listed on the menu and I'm violently allergic to them, I will probably not sue them even though also they deserve it. They were also out of the first 2 draft beers I tried to order off the beer menu all around disaster of a restaurant hostess was Mia when we arrived to boot.grsin bowl if not the move I promise it shiikfbt even be on the menu it's that sad. Kitchen should be embarrassed sending food like that out.
google avatar

Royce D.

Yelp
This bar is a nice place to hang after school and grab bar food with friends. I got the lobster, shrimp, and crab quesadilla which was good, although the shrimp was a bit chewy and the portions were a little small. Great vibes with excellent service.
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
Great service. Caesar salad had way too much Caesar on it, crispy chicken on it was pretty good. Sweet potato fries were on the soggy side. The cinnamon dipping sauce is delicious though!
google avatar

Mariah W.

Yelp
This place use to be my go to spot when I lived in u city. I would highly recommend their nachos, Buffalo chicken sandwich, salads, hamburgers, and tacos. Their drinks are also good and they have tons of fun events as well. Inside is a typical bar type restaurant and there's plenty of space.

Shirley F.

Yelp
would've given five stars if you guys didn't get rid of your brunch menu :( otherwise solid place to get food on drexel campus
google avatar

Christen G.

Yelp
Best Cobb salad I've ever had! Really picky about my salads and this one was fantastic! Absolutely delicious, really fresh and generous portion. Cobb salads can be really boring with the way the ingredients are prepared and presented but this was very unique. And the tiny ciabatta roll was a perfect compliment. Other members of my party loved their meals-salmon sandwich, drunken fish tacos, pretzel sticks. All yummy and lovely looking dishes. Making a reservation on Resy couldn't have been easier and the service was also really great!
google avatar

Jackie S.

Yelp
Landmark Americana is open and you can make reservations online beforehand. There are plenty of tables available but the tables don't have much shade. The restaurant takes your temperature before you enter and requires you to wear a mask if you're not sitting. Note that a 20% gratuity charge will automatically be added to your bill. The food was okay but nothing spectacular. I got the Monte Cristo ($14) which is smoked ham, egg, gruyere, and dijon mayo between slices of French toast. It was a bit oily and also, in my opinion, overpriced. I was really disappointed by the Iced Mocha Latte ($6). I thought it was a homemade cocktail but it was just a canned drink. TLDR: I appreciate the COVID measures the restaurant takes, but I've had better brunch food in this price range.
google avatar

Mini R.

Yelp
The food was great but the only problem was it took us 30 minutes to be seated and the place wasn't crowded so I don't know what that was about
google avatar

Gia I.

Yelp
So my friends and I went here after visiting Cira Green and I was very disappointed. The bathroom was soooo unsanitary and nasty. We told the waitress and she stated that she'll advise someone about it but no one cleaned it all. I ordered the drunken fish tacos with fries and the lettuce was old, the food was "warm" and wasn't tasteful at all. My friend said her cheesesteak rolls tasted old and neither of us finished our food. By far the worse food I ever had in Philly.
google avatar

Sonya E.

Yelp
I am extremely disappointed by the service that I received here both from the waiter and as a response from the managers. The server was new, which is understandable, but after multiple reminders and more than an hour, my food order still was not placed despite the promise from the waiter and the manager that the order had been placed. The waiter often took the wrong food and drinks to the wrong tables. We were only offered plastic forks and knives as if this were McDonald's. The food was acceptable at best, but it is difficult to judge because of the amount of time it took to get each item. The manager comped one drink per person after offering a desert that we turned down. The part that was extremely offensive to me was that despite the numerous complaints to the manager and the acknowledgment of extremely poor service, our party of five was charged an automatic gratuity. I understand that waiters in America are unfortunately not paid minimum wage, but our party should not have been forced to "tip" for inadequate service. I am very disappointed at what took place here today. Don't let the 3 stars here fool you. This restaurant is unfortunately not worth the one star that I just give it.

Yelp
A really awesome place! Located in University City in Philadelphia on Drexels campus, this place has an ideal location and is very safe and family friendly. The dining area and layout itself are also very nice. Staff and friendly and will make sure you are happy and well tended to. The food here is exceptional, many specials and a bounty of great dishes to choose from. There are also many variants so it is a place one would want to return to. I personally got a simple classic mac n cheese and an order of the garlic parmesan fries which are dusted in truffle salt. An excellent meal and they give you a lot for your money. I also tried some pancakes and a few other items on the menu which were all delicious and pretty large. The pricing is not bad at all and is totally worth it. The only thing I would have to say was not as good was the issue with splitting the check. I went with a group of people and we wanted to pay individually, but we could only get a check split 2 ways. I know a lot of establishments have a problem with this, so I don't blame them, but it is definitely something this place along with others need to work on. Other than that, this place is awesome. One of the best places I've eaten at in U city and definitely would come back many more times.

Sakshi S.

Yelp
There are so many rules for happy hour!! It's horrible make sure you are ordering drinks that at count because the waiter won't tell you. Also you will be charged a 20% tip automatically. It gets real expensive.
google avatar

Yelp
I go to Drexel, so I was recommended Landmark about a million times! All of my visits here were pre-covid, so I cannot speak on any of their current precautions! I've been here twice for brunch/lunch with my roommates and wow it was absolutely delicious! I remember the wait never being long and the service being great! The two items I have pictures are the Eggs Benedict and the Breakfast Nachos. I remember the eggs benedict being very good, like an average dish. However, these breakfast nachos were AMAZING. I didn't really read, so I didn't expect the "nachos" to be potatoes! Holy wow the flavor and components in this dish were amazing!! This will definitely be my go to order when I'm back! We also had their parmesan garlic fries (not pictured) and they were delicious! Cannot wait to come back ASAP!
google avatar

Yelp
Average food, service and décor with average University City prices. Tomato soup was good, Cobb Salad was just OK. Brunch items looked like a better choice but I am low carb and many entrees were super high in carbs and/or calories. Crowded even on a Sunday for brunch. Family Friendly (Surprised at how many little kids were here in addition to the college crowd.) Good but not great. A safe choice.

Yelp
I was just disrespected and treated extremely poorly Today at 1:56pm I entered Landmark on Market street in Philadelphia. I ordered 15 wings, 5 hot, 5 honey Haberno and 5 Garlic Parm. The cashier rung me up and it came to $19.43. A few moments later she comes back with the Assistant Manager Joe, if that's his real name. He comes over after I'm already charged and says they cannot make just 5 of one flavor. Did I want to make it a second Order of 10. I said no. He tells me he will refund me the money for the 5 and I will get the refund in a few business days. I asked him, would it not be easier to not inconvenience the customer to simply fulfill the order and have the cook do what I ordered. He becomes irate and rude and gets nasty with me. Cutting me off and asking me do I want the order or not. I asked him why he was giving me attitude. If the cashier can ring me up for the order that way then it means the order can be done. He says have you ever made a mistake. I said yes but this is an inconvenience for me, when you can simply ask the cook to cook the wings. I have been coming here since they first opened. And during wing night they would do amounts of 5. He again gets nasty with me and says we haven't done a f'ing wing night in 4 years. Do you want the order or not? I say again this is bad customer service and he goes and returns the entire order. He comes back and dropped my card in my face. And tells me he's going to enjoy eating my wings. I said okay i can get wings anywhere. He says to me i get off at 8pm. I said okay thanks. This level of disrespect and attempt to bully and intimidate me is not how I believe you want your restaurant represented is the message I sent the owner Dave Goldman. This was uncalled for. I will be leaving my review on every platform until I get a resolution. If I was not a black man, Perhaps he would have been more respectful. I don't appreciate being treated like my business and humanity does not matter. I contacted the owner and will continue to share my experience until this is resolved.

Yelp
I loved landmark back in the day! I lived for music bingo. food wise, I'd highly recommend any of the following: the landmark nachos (a classic), the bean burger, the jumbo lump crab cake sandwich, and the fish and chips.
google avatar

Jam H.

Yelp
It was my first time here and we ordered ribs, chicken wings, and the Mac and cheese. The mac was my fav of the 3 and I probably ate most of it. The chicken wings were pretty good, I think we got some Asian chili sauce which was a bit on the sweeter side. The ribs were dried up and hard, probably wouldn't get again but the sauce was good. But anyway, get the mac&cheese!!
google avatar

Yelp
Landmark never disappoints. My boyfriend and I been coming here since our first do over date (the real first date is a whole different story ) lol. We love their cheesesteak rolls and wings ! So flavorful and done with love. We also love that they have an on going special of $3 oak and cokes . So great food and drink this where u wanna be. They even have late night happy hour specials as well and themed nights for when you want to have a little fun while eating. Check them out !
google avatar

Emma F.

Yelp
I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you are getting 50% off with the student discount for weekend brunch. It seems that they have downsized most of their items to account for the discount. Our waiter was quite nice, but the food was nothing to write home about.

Caitlin E.

Yelp
Idk whats more disturbing, the buffalo sauce fingerprints on the wall or the fact that they DONT INFORM YOU THE TIP IS INCLUDED IN THE BILL!!! I have been in the service industry my whole life. Now i have a business of my own. I feel quilty adding a dollar to my products because of outrageous credit card fees, inflation, AND UNBELIEVEABLY high shipping costs, to name a few. It is presumptuous of the owners and/or manager, regardless of the demographic of their patrons. Not to mention (probably) ILLEGAL!!! Maybe the server added it, maybe the owners are to cheap to pay the difference if they dont make minimum wage in tips. If i hadnt noticed, my mom would have tipped our server 40%!!!! Not unheard of, but its MY CHOICE what i spend my hard earned money on. And my choice where i eat.........

Yelp
Yelp , I think it's time for a ZERO stars option . Before you continue to read , turn around & just go to one of the lovely food trucks in the area instead . How do you say , "Never TF again!" in every language .... Please understand that I give 100% honest reviews . I couldn't wait to write this one . Idk how in the world this place gets business, other than the fact that they have outdoor dining . This was my first and LAST time coming here . Absolutely disgusted !!!!!!!! I wish there was something I could do to get my time and money back . I regret not leaving as soon as I was told they do not give out lemons or limes because of COVID . Please make it make sense !!!! We overlooked that weird behind ish and ordered 2 mango spritzers and 2 seltzer's . After a long wait , we got them and were finally able to put our order in : crab dip , Buffalo chicken rolls , & a salmon sandwich with the soy glaze on the side . Somehow the table of white men next to us that were sat long AFTER us received their drinks and food in NO TIME ! The mango drink was disgusting ; even the seltzer water was nasty ! (How the hell can you f*** up seltzer ?!) FINALLY , the food comes out . I did not ask for it to be brought out all at once so the apps should've been reached us . You pay $12 for 2 egg rolls that they chop into 3 pieces each , and as you can see , it's just sad ! Taste was bland & made my friend sick . The salmon sandwich is just a skinny over cooked piece of tasteless fish in a bun . I'm so glad I got that soy glaze on the side because it was literally one of the nastiest things I ever tried in my life . Garlic Parm fries were ok , nothing special . The Crab dip came out nice and hot , but it's definitely not good enough to keep me coming back . (The Green Turtle is waaaaaaaay better) It blows my mind to see people going here . I wonder if they have any taste buds . Oh , let me not forget the NERVE they have to automatically charge 20% gratuity - A SCAM ! I am a person who genuinely loves food & will spend whatever on some good grub , so please don't assume I'm being cheap . Applebee's would've tasted like 5 star cuisine compared to this place . I wouldn't eat here even if it was free ! I'm so upset , I could go on and on but I already wasted too much energy on them . I hope the managers & owners see this review ! The truth will set you free ! Please beware ! *rushes home to throw up*

Yelp
Landmark has good food but terrible service. Time and time again I hop into Landmark for a quick drink & apps and every time Im disappointed with my experience, yesterday was no different. We made a reservation through Resy and there was still a wait of 15+ minutes for a table. After finally being seated we had to wait another 15-20 minutes to order food and drinks. After ordering we waited almost an hour for food and drinks in the freezing cold. They could have at least bought out the shots so we'd be unaware of how cold it was since there were only 2 heaters for the entire side of the building that has outdoor seating (10+ tables). Was told that heaters were low on propane but there wasn't even a heater for our table. We're a year into a pandemic and most restaurants have adapted to outdoor dining and Landmark is ill equipped. Our server themselves weren't bad but clearly they (the restaurant) are severely understaffed. It was an entire unorganized mess. Tbh this location had issues pre pandemic. I'd only order food to go from this location in the future and I'd suggest you do the same.

Yelp
Fod unremarkable, reasonable selection of beers. WATCH OUT FOR THE 20% SERVICE CHARGE ON YOUR BILL. They don't want you to tip your servers in cash.

Yelp
I went here today with my coworkers. This wasn't where we originally wanted to go but that place was closed, even after taking our reservation. It's located right in University City, right off the 34th street train stop. There was know wait to be seated. We had a party of 4. We were asked right away about what drinks we wanted. The wait for our food was about 15 minutes. We all got the peach sangria and agreed they were good. Water with a side of lemon slice were complimentary. I got the Americana breakfast (bacon, eggs, French toast, sausage and home fries) with a side of grits. My bacon, sausage and home fries were good. The French toast was so so. With enough syrup I couldn't figure out what I didn't like about it. I admit I'm not a big fan of eggs from restaurants, I went out on the limb and tried it though. Now to the grits. They were soft and smooth, I give them that. My grits were served in a little bowel. I scooped some out onto my plate and initially they were good but when I scooped out more I notice a burnt taste. As if they were cooked in a pot with other grits that burnt but my exact grits weren't visually burnt. One of my coworkers and I must of gotten grits from the same batch because she said she tasted the same in hers. We split a brownie with ice cream and whip and I could taste the same burntness at the bottom of the brownie. Great for drinks if your trying to catch the game (a bunch of upset eagles fans today) and I hear the wings are good. Not so much for brunch.

Yelp
Landmark is not so appealing when you're always around the Drexel area, but when you actually check it out...it may surprise you! They have a decent menu and happy hour, and during the warmer days the back is open with the fire pit and outdoor bar. Like any other place, it all depends on what you get on the menu. Our fav things to get at Landmark are the grilled jerk wings and Parmesan fries and once in a while I really FEEN for the cheese grits. Overall great vibe! They offer discounts for Drexel, Penn and Temple students and on certain nights there will be a theme such as trivia night and etc. Check it out if you're in the area!

Yelp
Luckily this place closes at 2am so I was able to meet up with a friend after work to catch up. We had the Memphis pork sandwich with beer battered fries. The memphis pork sandwich was so juicy and good. We liked the fries so much that another portion of fries was ordered. Queso this time. But the service, I dunno, this is where the stars get decreased. Where was our server? And to get a fork or any attention was quite the hassle. Food was great but there is room for improvement with the service.

Yelp
Been going here for years, a Drexel classic. They really excel at finger foods, but anything will be good. All the desserts are good too!
