Wow quality has seriously gone downhill. THIS IS SO DRY & NASTY! The dough makes this “fresh” pizza taste so stale. I’ve had better frozen pizza from the grocery store. Never ordering again boo

I have been going to lane splitter since it opened in Berkeley 25 years ago. It used to be amazing. but recently something has happened to the quality. it is now no better than the crappiest of the cheap pizza in California. You can really tell the quality of a pizza by the dough and the stuff they are making now is worse then the cheapest pizza parlors in the business. Business owners should have closed it but apparently they want to keep making money off the name even though they no longer live here, I guess a makes sense to run their reputation into the ground to squeeze out a few extra bucks off our nostalgia.

Google
Did they change owners? I started going to Lanesplitter back when they were in Grand Lake years ago. Was pretty good pizza then. But now, every time I order from here, the pizza is always different and mediocre. My latest order, the pizza was overcooked and there was no crust to hold onto. I think my days ordering from Lanesplitter are officially over. Just unfortunate. A word of advice, return to your roots

Google
So I go in and order a slice of pepperoni which I don’t see anywhere . I assumed they had a pizza cooking which is perfect. But too perfect for this establishment . After ordering my pizza, this homeless guy comes in and ask for me to buy his. After politely declining and I wait for my order . Someone else comes in and decides to buy the guy a slice. At this point they want him out the establishment so they then serve him what looks like a pepperoni pizza that was supposed to be mines . So now I’m waiting longer and they have to create me a new slice which they no longer have pepperoni ready so they re warm up a cheese slice with pepperoni on top and a dash of mozzarella cheese. Which they then drop getting it out the oven. So then she decided to warm up another cheese slice with pep on top. I get home to undercooked pepperoni on an old cheese slice. They do this often but this is one thing I don’t get . To me now the pizza is altered. Too much cheese or a crazy amount of undercooked pepperoni that falls off as soon as you lift the pizza. Great service 👎

Google
Was it tasty, yes, if you don't expect much as far as the toppings you selected. Yes, I'm glad I asked for extra cheese; that really made it. But the red sauce was barely passable and the amount of Italian sausage, onion, peppers and black olives were barely noticeable. Also, it's shaped like a Sicilian, but the dough is like a pan pizza, so not a Sicilian dough snd, it was bland and tasteless. My rating is high given the down sides of the pizza.

Google
Very good! Indian pizza shop. They have a good variety of hand made pizza. The best part is they make a pizza base then bake a pizza. Having limited parking space. However the place is good for any small event celebration.

Google
This place has really gone downhill. I assume it was sold since I was here last. There is zero vibe and even though I ordered a salad and pizza to dine in, my salad came in a to go box with a plastic fork and pre packaged dressing! Their home made dressing was always a favorite but this packed stuff just doesn’t compare. Sunday afternoon and there are only 2 other people here. It used to be full of energy and good music. All I can hear is the commercials on the tv.

Google
I'm here, it's fine. It's thanksgiving so I can't rate anything really but the pizza. The pizza took about 15-20 minutes and is completely fine in my opinion. I got the 16" chopper and everything about it is up to par with many other places nearby.

Yelp
GREAT Pizza!! I had a slice of cheese that was just lovely! Definitely a lot better than Arthur Mac's Little Shack!! Service was okay. I did come in after 10pm as they were cleaning up and getting ready to close. Will have to comment on the ambiance later when I come back later. Will definitely return again!

Him S.

Yelp
Good old-fashioned, solid pizza joint. Not for those who feel ambience is important for good pizza.

Yelp
Big restaurant with lots of seating. We went on a weekday and the weather wasnt the best so it was a slow day for them. Pizza was pretty good in my opinion. The only thing i didnt like as much was the cheese sticks. It was alright, nothing crazy. Pizza was cooked pretty good and they dont skimp on the toppings. Would definitely come back again.

Yelp
Stumbled in one day and ordered the Hawaiian split pizza and bacon cheesy bread. SO GOOD! Had a 20 min drive home but it was still hot and fresh. Bread/crust baked to perfect crispyness and flavored well, did not feel like they skimped on toppings. Lady who helped us was also friendly and prompt. May become our new go-to!

Yelp
Okay, it's April 1st, 2022, April Fools Day! DoorDash sends me this offer of "40%-off or $9.00 off" any pizza from Lanesplitter Pizza in Emeryville. What? Is this some kind of joke? Hey, I'm taking this deal. But wait, what's up with all these mixed Yelp reviews? Yikes.....oh well, time to earn that Maverick Badge. Ok, so I ordered a 15" Medium Neapolitan Pepperoni Pizza. It arrives in a plain brown box. No coupons, no thank you card. Nothing to try and get repeat business. Also, no free Parmesan cheese or Pepper packets. So it's like a generic pizza. This is not a good sign. So, this is supposed to be an East Coast style pizza. What's that mean? -large slices -thin, crispy crust, sometimes charred -traditional and classic style pizza -made with marinara sauce, mozzarella, and meat/veggie toppings Yes, that's what I received, an East Coast pizza. Big, thin, foldable slices. I warmed up my pizza in the oven for 6-mins @ 400*F. It came out hot, with beautiful colors and good taste. A little on the oily side. I like my pizza with more cheese. When you're hungry, any pizza is good pizza. This pizza was okay, so 3-stars.

Yelp
Order a pizza to be delivered. Drive never showed up. Owner refused to refund my money. Never do business with these people!

Yelp
My first time going here. WASTED FOOD AND WASTED CALORIES Pizza is mediocre! Wayyyy better pizza around town. After driving 2 hours this was on my way to my location. They did make it fresh but not good. I order garlic bread and it was thee worst garlic bread. I had one stick and did not like it. The marinara sauces was ice cool to did it in. I ask if I can swap it out for a salad or something they REFUSED! The staff gave a hard time . Place cleanliness was very poor. Bathroom was disgusting. Around the corner that MacArthur pizza is way better is taste, ambiance, and professionalism...

Yelp
Chiming in to echo these reviews. While it's sad to see this East Bay institution nearly demolished, it's even sadder to have the mask that remains in its place. This is not only NOT Lanesplitter, but it's barely passable pizza. For the uninitiated, Lanesplitter was sort of like Pizza My Heart cooked by Gioia Pizza. It was a little pricey, but always fresh, quality ingredients, and a thin, chewy crust. It had an ambiance that can be described as quirky and vibrant. If you went in, you could see the baking counter, with the dough proving in its containers. Way overpriced (even for the Bay Area). We got an over-salted Tankslapper (if you can even call it that anymore). It had the manufactured quality of Costco pizza, with flat dough, and claggy, undercooked cheese. The garlic bread tasted like burnt garlic powder sprinkled on their flavorless dough. Go to Namaste, Rotten City, Spinning Dough or even Pizza Amigos in the same area for infinitely better pizza at the same or lower prices. New ownership would be better off starting a place under a new name; half of the people will stop going because they feel duped that it's not the old Lanesplitter, and the other half because it's not the Lanesplitter others recommended them. But make no mistake, all of them will stop going because it's just gross pizza.

Yelp
Lanesplitter should be toward the top of your list if you get a craving for pizza while in West Berekeley. I *always* go for the "Lanesplitter Gourmet Pizzas" on the menu. My favorite is the Chopper Pizza, which has pepperoni, sausage, salami, bacon, and Canadian bacon. A close second is the Hawaiian Split Pizza, which has their house four-cheese blend, Canadian bacon, and pineapple. For each pizza you select a size.... 10", 14", 16", and 18". Then you choose a crust.... neapolitan, thick pan, or sicilian. And you can always add extra topppings... try the artichoke hearts! The best deal is the 18". We usually bring it home and have lots of delicious leftovers. Parking is typically available within 1-2 blocks of the location.

Yelp
What a shame! Lanesplitter used to be one of my favorite neighborhood spots, but it seems they're under new ownership and everything I loved about the place is gone. The service is terrible, the atmosphere is chaotic and dumpy, and the restaurant itself is dirty. I didn't try the food; everything looked and felt so off, that I canceled my order and left.

Yelp
Very middling pizza but at least it was open for delivery on Christmas. Fast delivery, mediocre food.

Yelp
Update; the plain cheese or pepperoni pizza is amazing!!! (But skip the BBQ chicken pizza from my previous review ).

Yelp
When ordering my pizza the woman was so sweet. I ordered a vegan pizza With a bunch of veggie toppings togo. I also ordered a precooked pepperoni Slice as well to eat there. My pepperoni slice came out burned And she offered to give me another slice. The 2nd slice was just a cheese slice with pepporoni and MORE cheese added on top before being reheated. Came out very greasy with Pepperoni Slices barely done on top. This place is not very clean and although the lovely lady taking orders was very kind and sweet they need to do better. Won't be back to this location.

Yelp
I want to state everytime I've gone in the past year there's always a young lady alone and she does amazing ! I understand that things have changed for Lanesplitter as far as new ownership and certain people are upset but fail to recognize it has nothing to do with their cashier/cook!!... I appreciate her service everytime and hope she'll be able to get help around there as it's tuff dealing with the hectics of Oaklanders who can be rude towards someone whose fault isnt to blame for lack the of associates .... She rocks! And the food still hits :)

Yelp
3/18/23 update: new LS seems have finally found it's stride. And while the new crust still isn't as good as the old LS crust, this Green Stingray add feta is gotttdamn delicious! The crust is crunchy and I worked out how to get the right amount of pesto, like the old LS pizza. Also, pints after tax are $6.62, which is better than most places these days... Increasing from 3 to 4 stars. Thank you for not ruining my favorite pizza ever!!

Yelp
I'm so hungry. Is it lunch time? It's dinner time. I'm look happy. I love it. Yummy! Yum!

Yelp
A trip down memory lane led me to the Emeryville location of Lane Splitter Pizza after fond memories from their Berkeley outpost. Sadly, the experience was not as I remembered. The ambiance lacked the charm and warmth I so fondly reminisced about. The biggest letdown was the pizza itself, which felt like a mere shadow of its former glory. With a heavy heart, I say I won't be returning. What once was a cherished spot is now a poignant reminder that some things are best left in the past.

Yelp
I live around the block from this place, and I so desperately want them to do better. I order from this restaurant once every two weeks or so for the past 8 months. Old counter staff was super friendly but I don't see the same people anymore. I think I'm gonna throw in the towel and go elsewhere in the future. Pizza has become super lackluster lately. Each piece of topping separated by an inch or more on the pie. Crust is soggy and greasy this last time and kinda flat. Tried to call in an order on a Monday night and no one picked up the phone. Walked around the corner into an empty restaurant with two staffers behind the counter chatting, not much going on. Ordered a pie and mozzarella sticks. Got cheesy breadsticks, which Im fine with, but I guess there was a misunderstanding. $37 and I got a soggy pizza, sparse toppings, and after asking for marinara and ranch for the sticks, tiny cups of each. Around the side of the building, there are junk tables and chairs piled on the sidewalk for weeks. Looks trashy and not the cool pizza joint we saw months ago. Hopefully their food improves and they clean up the place.

Yelp
The highlight here is that Lanesplitter has vegan options. My wife doesn't eat meat and can't have diary (not vegan by choice), so it's great to find places that can accommodate us (I am not giving up cheese or meat). There aren't many vegan pizza options, so this was a good find. The pizza was good, but, I gotta say, it was extremely disappointing with how stingy they were with the toppings. I ordered the Hawaiian pizza and added cilantro, but what I received was basically a cheese pizza with some ham, pineapple, and cilantro garnish. It was embarrassingly skimpy. Based on that, I probably would not order from here again unless I'm getting food for or with my wife. I will also add, though, that their mango habanero sauce for their wings is FANTASTIC. I've had better wings, but it's tough to say that I've had better mango habanero sauce. I'd be tempted to order these again.

Yelp
Pre pandemic this place was amazing. Amazing food, service ambiance. Post pandemic this family favorite is anything but. Like a lot of restaurants affected by the pandemic, this place is short staffed and the quality of the food has declined significantly. The place was empty and we waited over an hour to get one pizza. I am assuming it's under new ownership.

Yelp
The food was ok. Not the best pizza but it gets the job done. Crust is on the thinner side which I like, not much sauce and very unevenly cut. The delivery service is really what makes me not want to order from here again. Usually drivers leave the food at the front door. I got a text saying my food was delivered but didn't see it outside. Later I heard honking outside my door and realized the driver wanted me to walk to his car to get the pizza?? Not only does this sound dangerous as a woman, but why should I have to walk to go get my pizza if I'm paying a delivery fee and tipping? I told him my family had covid so we didn't want any contact and had to ask him to bring it to the door. I've never had a driver honk at me to meet them at their car instead of just delivering it to the front door.

Yelp
1 star off because they don't include Parmesan and red pepper flakes! Wish I had the option to include this. Luckily, I had extra in my kitchen like I'm sure many of us do lol (save those little packets!). This pizza was pretty good. It wasn't amazing/life changing, but I would do it again! It hits the spot. I wish the crust was just slightly crispier. It could also be that my pizza wasn't perfectly warm since it had to be delivered and I was too lazy to warm it up. They do include recommendations for warming the pizza on the box. The serving for one was easy to go down, lol or maybe I was just hungry. For just one person, I might recommend ordering a serving size for 2-3 so you can happily have have leftovers for breakfast! (YES, I am PRO pizza at any time of day lol). Also, I love leftovers lol. I got this delivered through DoorDash. It was just for me. I ordered a 1-topping pizza ("serves 1", but there are options for serves 2-3, etc.). I chose mushrooms as my topping! Finally, I appreciate minimalist packaging when it comes to delivery especially! There are no extraneous plastic/paper bags or napkins, so I didn't feel super wasteful. DoorDash hand delivered this cardboard pizza box to me just as-is. I do wish they would include parmesan and red pepper flakes as mentioned, but otherwise I was content with my experience.

Yelp
Not technically a food review, more of an experience review. Particularly because I'm still waiting for my pizza and salad... We came in, sat down, and ordered on their website through the QR code. The waiter was actually mostly friendly, but he couldn't handle our requests. We were starved, so I asked about our food several times. When we finally got our salad after 45 minutes, the dressing was wrong. When we got our pizza after an hour, it wasn't our pizza. We were nice enough to not eat it, as it belonged to an equally hungry family nearby, but I wouldn't want a pizza that sat on someone else's table for 5 minutes. And worse, the waiter just moved it from one table to another. That seems pretty sketchy post-Covid. We tried talking to the actual manager/cashier, who had put our pizza in a take out box and had forgotten about it. He was super rude and unaccommodating. Like not his fault or his problem, and we are being crazy difficult and rude. Anyway, we went up the block to a KFC. Their fried chicken sandwich is nowhere near as good as Popeye's. I hate to leave a bad review, but this was just a completely frustrating experience.

Yelp
I'd never tried this location before, after my experience I'll never try it again. the under cooked flavorless "garlic cheese bread" which was seriously lacking any actual garlic flavor and seemed to have a few shreds of cheese over it was disappointing to say the least . But bruh when they grabbed a old dry slice of pepperoni pizza and added toppings and cheese to it and called it "fresh " I was done, I had a few bites and asked them to switch it out for a plain cheese ... . I barely ate half a slice and a few uncooked bread sticks and have been sick as fuck since ! Legitimately feels like a midget has been fighting it's way through my intestines all night with a pitchfork ....I'm glad that I'm free today and able to stay home and close to a toilet. that pizza was wack as f!! The lady at the counter was sweet, and super apologetic . Totally not her fault I get it, new management clearly cutting corners .
google avatar

tara f.

Yelp
My very first dry pizza! I had to just laugh at it when I opened the box. Comically bad. It's so dry that the tips of the pizza are curling up in the center. Getting this pizza is a great reminder as to why I stopped ordering from this place. This used to be good back in the day... like 10 years ago? It's lost it completely. Like the toppings were all on the side of the box because it was so dry, we had to put the toppings back on. Enjoy the laugh! There are sooo soo sooooo many other places to choose!

Yelp
The best of the best! Wonderful, attentive service. I ordered 18" Alfredo spinach feta pizza with Italian sausage DELICIOUS!!!!! & yes i will be eating the leftovers for breakfast lol....

Yelp
They are open, They are welcoming The pizza and brews are fresh! Seating outside and vaccine cards allow you to sit inside in their sanitized seating! Love the wonderful group working here, great vibes stop by!

Yelp
My nephew was performing in a winter concert, so we needed a place for dinner before the show. Family and friends, both kids and adults - added up to at least 14 to 16 of us. This place is great for groups, they have a huge accommodating space and tables can be put together for larger groups. I ran in and let the server know we had a large group with a short time frame. He sprang into action and put tables together, grabbed water and utensils for everyone. We ordered 3 pizzas for the tables and a big salad, which was enough food for everyone and came out fast. Everyone really loved the food and we gave our server a good tip for his service and being able to keep up with our crowd. Good place to watch the game with groups, birthday parties, book clubs and any other type of get together. Everyone loves pizza!
google avatar

KT T.

Yelp
What happened to this place?! This was literally the first restaurant I ate at in the town when I first moved here in 2013. The pizza that was delivered to me about .2 seconds ago was not the pizza I remembered at all. The pizza was raw, like RAW RAW! Not to mention it looked like it was thrown in a furnace. Y'all need to get your act together.
google avatar

Sam W.

Yelp
Didn't realize it was under new management. That was a mistake. I walk in and nobody is sitting at the bar or hanging out like they used to.. first red flag. I look at the menu to get my favorite vegan pizza, and I noticed it's changed a bit. I ask if they have that cashew ricotta cheese I like still, and the dude says no. He was being nice enough, but then some senior manager walks by and mutters "why didn't he just call" in a very condescending way. Quickly realizing this place is a shadow of its former self, I said "f*** you guys" to the douchey supervisor and left. Unreal customer experience from a place that is obviously in quick decline. Hopefully a better place opens up here where it's nice to stop for a beer again.

Queen_bin L.

Yelp
The staff that helped me at the register was very rude. I was trying to order and she cut me off (I didn't mind that because it was busy, I used to be a sever) then when she came back she had a visible attitude. Later after waiting 20mins for my pizza I went to go ask about how long it take, I didn't jump in front of line, I tried to wait until it wasn't busy in the front. Before I could ask she asked if I had a problem with waiting and it was already in the oven with an angry face. I was taken aback by comment and asked her to repeat herself. She quickly tried to back track and walked off. Another staff ended up handing me my food. I understand being overwhelmed and irritated that things are busy but don't take it out on customers just trying to get their food.
google avatar

Sara D.

Yelp
Ordered pizza and breadsticks. The pizza was edible, a bit thin on the base and not cooked enough to give it any structure which was disappointing. Having done ny style pizza for 15 years it was tossed too thin and not cooked long enough or the stone was colder than the oven. The breadsticks though.. trash. Burnt garlic flavor was the only flavor, burnt on the bottom you can see in one of the photos, just gross. Ended up throwing it away.

Yelp
This evening I called the restaurant to ask about their gluten free crust. I have nut allergies and a lot of times GF flours have almond meal. So the first time I called the person on the other line didn't understand my question so I asked to speak to a different person and she hung up on me. I called again to ask if she found out anything about the gluten free crust and she left me on the line for 6 minutes before I finally hung up coz I got tired of waiting. This was a mild case of poor customer service. I've worked in restaurants before (as a cook and as counter help) and it should be common knowledge for the server/counter staff taking orders to know if the food they're serving has any allergens, especially nut's because they can be so deadly.

Yelp
I ordered this today via Uber eats. I ordered a 10" pizza: Feta cheese, artichoke hearts & sun-dried tomatoes. 14" pizza for my fiancé: Chicken & garlic For me, my pizza arrived late but hot. Assuming the Uber delivery driver was stuck in traffic. When it got to me, it was still so good and fresh. I loved the thin crust pizza & the ingredients were fresh. For my partner, he thought the toppings on top were a little sparse but still good tasting. Unfortunately for him, the pizza was cold by the time he had some. He ate 1 slice and one of the pizza slices had a chicken bone in it. Mistake, I get it. I'm just glad it wasn't super small & noticed it. I'm shocked of the mixed low reviews below mine because I had a good experience. Maybe I was just very hungry at the time it arrived so I didn't catch anything I disliked about it. I also am not a regular like half the folks below so if they lost their consistency, I don't know how much better it was. Would I order again? Yes. Do I recommend? Yes.

Yelp
Beer is great. Food is even greater! Staff are very kind and accommodating. Definitely recommend .

Yelp
I am guessing there was a change in ownership because Lanesplitter is nothing like it used to be. They went from amazing to completely mediocre - basically just tastes like Dominos at this point.

Amy A.

Yelp
This is NOT Lanesplitter!!! We took out of town family here and were positively mortified. The Caesar salad came with lettuce and large shards of parm - nothing else. When we asked, we were given commercial packets of croutons and packets of Ken's Creamy Caesar dressing. Water cups were dirty, water bottles were dirty, plates were dirty, no soap in the bathroom. When we asked for plates, he pointed to the stack at the end of the table, also dirty that I had to get myself. When we asked for clean cups, they gave us Dixie cups. Can't make this stuff up.

Yelp
Grade A amazing vegan pizza. I ordered a pizza with vegan cheese, spinach, and chorizo. I was skeptical of this place because it says on their website that the cheese is made from soy. Usually soy based cheese is not nearly as good as cashew based cheese. Take Daiya for example as a very bad choice for vegan cheese. But this place. I don't know how they did it. It's just amazing and exceeded my expectations. I will be coming back here again and again.

Yelp
I think this is the only Lanesplitter spot open for lunch Mon-Thur? Funky Wedge shaped dining area due to the angle of Adeline and San Pablo meeting up. The space sports an open industrial look and has a small-ish bar area with a couple of high top tables (https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/lanesplitter-pub-and-pizza-emeryville?select=BRk1mvOyjcEekTIy6Jh3VA). Table condiments include parm, chili flakes, oregano, and garlic powder (https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/lanesplitter-pub-and-pizza-emeryville?select=FCyMMV4SJAhXcve49QISgg) As per usual Lanesplitter MO, there's a handful of their special combos available as slices every day (https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/lanesplitter-pub-and-pizza-emeryville?select=0c4-hXU-9Hlmi5uB9Y3OHg). New since I last visited is a 10" personal pie (which is part of a Happy Hour special from 4-6pm (https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/lanesplitter-pub-and-pizza-emeryville?select=eBq99QIqUeUla-2fMoYyoA), in case the slice options don't excite you and you don't want a larger pie. I like Lanesplitter's thin crust pizzas (https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/lanesplitter-pub-and-pizza-emeryville?select=rRkzhZl1MrrY17E16fAh5Q https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/lanesplitter-pub-and-pizza-emeryville?select=9rfEcEd9joYlneSV-YCo-A) and this location seems to do a better job with heating up the slices to order than the folks at the Temescal outpost where I've gotten several that were bordering on burned. Friendly staff and bartenders.

Yelp
Just had the Indian pasta and it totally took me by surprise! It is packed with flavor and spices and it is really delicious! Can't stop eating it !! Definitely a must try on their menu!!

Yelp
Pizza was too thin and crust was burnt. The flavors were good but ultimately snot a good value.

Yelp
I'm not sure if we ordered on an off night, but the food was awful. The pizza was terrible. We ordered a salad that we couldn't eat because it was so old the lettuce was brown, and the cucumbers were shriveled up and slimy. The price is the same as everywhere else. We'll get ourselves a quality pizza someplace else next time.

Yelp
I used to get Lanesplitter all the time to fulfill that NY style pizza urge, it wasn't exactly NY but it was closer than most. I ordered last nite for the first time in years and it was totally something different. Dough had zero bounce or crispy chew and was nothing what I remember. Dough was more like cardboard like cracker and had zero rise chew or lift. I also saw some lines like perforations on the underside of the crust which made me feel more like this is a template premade crust and no one makes dough or allows any yeast to rise or dough to create gluten etc. I gotta say it almost made dominos look better and taste better. Cheese didn't even have a great texture it was sort of thick and gummy. I got no time to spend $30+ on a pie with lazy dough anymore. Not sure what happened over the past few years to Lanesplitter but this was a sad discovery.

Yelp
It's an absolute travesty. I guess they're under new management. And new management doesn't know how to make a pizza. Not only do they pick up the phone half the time, charge more, and have a surly bedside manner, but the crust is absolute soggy garbage, the pie's not round and the pieces were...lets just call them, seriously irregular. No love in these pizzas anymore. Not sure what the plan is for these people, but they better get their ish together or they're gonna finally go toe up. Way to screw up one of the best pizza joints in town guys.

Yelp
I've been going to Lanesplitters for years. However, last night it seemed like a completely different place. We were the only customers dining in the restaurant. The back-of-house employees were yelling at each other. We ordered a few slices, and we were given a random number of slices that were not sliced (even close to) evenly. They pizza was not very good. The whole vibe was weird.

Yelp
Super sad to see the sale and consequent decline of all the Lanesplitters. Pizza quality is terrible. Confused pizzaiolas, backed up orders. Got my pie home and it was overly salty, crust was uneven and not round. I noticed a change of ownership sign application and conditional pass from health department. Decor is now non existent , TVs were off, no more bar etc. Sad sad

Yelp
Just received a burnt calzone. No utensils either! How am I supposed to eat it if I wanted too?

Yelp
Ownership must have changed because this is like lanesplitter from a different dimension....so comically bad I thought it was joke. We want the old lanesplitter back. Some highlights: -when I asked for a slice of pizza multiple times both workers seem confused. -pointed to the multiple advertisements on the windows offering slices and they said they aren't doing that anymore. I pointed to two pies next to the window and they said yes we have cheese. Looked at them closer and they looked days old and bad. -there were multiple menus for East Asian food. Asked him if that was now offered and he said no.

Yelp
Once this Jersey Girl's favorite pizza joint, Lanesplitters Pizza only remains the same in name only. The last remaining Lanesplitters in the area is cold, dirty, and smelled like paint thinner. Half of the seating is closed off with caution tape....a red flag right there. But we ordered a pie and a beer and sat at the grimy bar while we watched some bad movie. I k ew from the minute the pizza was placed in front of me that it wouldn't be good, and it wasn't. The once delicious hand tossed crust had been replaced with some pre made cardboard. The pie was over sauced, undercooked and had way too much cheese. The once crafted pizza was replaced with a domino's type product. All the love, attention to good food and craft beers in a funky setting was replaced by a take out window and a dirty counter. We will have to look for a new joint.
