The 26 Best Things Made in Michigan’s Cities | Eater

"Long before there was talk of trendy craft beers—heck, back when every brewery was a microbrewery—the Lansing Brewing Company was pouring pints for the laborers and tradesmen who were building a city worthy of being the state capital. One of the first breweries in Lansing, it was famous for its Amber Cream Ale but had to close shop during Prohibition. Luckily, it was resurrected in 2015 as Lansing’s only full-production brewery. They brought back their iconic Amber Cream Ale alongside a full range of styles to suit every taste. Even the food menu incorporates beer into many of the popular recipes." - Vox Creative

Fun, downtown brewery close to the Lugnuts Stadium and the Capitol. Seating was plenty, both indoors and outdoors. The food was delicious with a variety of menu items to choose from. We enjoyed the Spartan Dip and Garlic Parmesan Bread Bites for appetizers. For dinner, we had everything from the Sweet Potato Salad, Ribeye, Mac & Cheese, Chef Salad, to the Chicken Tenders. Service was a bit lacking. It was difficult to get our waitresses attention, and then when we were ready for the bill, we saw her clock out and leave. It was until about 10 minutes later another person from behind the bar came to our table and when we asked if she had left, we were told she could leave because it was slow and that tips are shared. It wasn't slow, and our 2 other tables of 4+ experienced this.

Burgers are good. The pulled pork wasn't drained so the bun was soggy that you couldn't pick it up and left a pool of water larger than the basket on the table. We've had better choices and experience at other places for the same cost.

I tried the peanut butter porter beer. Nice to try new beers. I'm not a fan of this one. The server didn’t write anything down and we ended up with 3 screw-ups. Margaritas with no salt, came with salt. Salad with dressing on the side, came with dressing on the salad with more on the side. Burger without bacon, came with bacon. I went for the beer and their vegan bean burger. Out of been burgers. My wife enjoyed her burger without bacon and Cajun fries. Why don't waiters write things down? Very loud atmosphere. Nice esthetics inside. One and done.

Drinks and fries were all delivered to me under 60 seconds! 🤯🤯🤯 like what?!?!? And Reese (spelling?).. he is amazing! Friendly and fast and HANDSOME! The good fries and good views definitely helped the situation! Sitting at the bar is highly recommended ❤️ lovely place and was happy to come and try it!

I went hoping to hear live music that was on the website but if they had it it must have been in the back room and there was a private party in another room. It was a really busy place. Hard to find parking. All 3 beers I tried were top notch but I will say the staff seemed a little stressed and not as attentive to customers. I got the impression that it was a brewery that has gotten too commercial to be down to earth. Does that make sense? Probably has to do with being so close to the ball park. I will be back again but will lower my expectations of it being a place where "people know your name." Like I said top notch beer, good prices, just not a small town feel kinda place. Will be back again.

Typical gastro pub. Food is not as important to most patrons as the drinks. Not that the food is bad, just average while the choices in each category is more limited than a normal restaurant. I tried the shrimp mac and cheese since I was told it wasn't spicy. It was spicy and the shrimp was on the side. Another in our party got the rock shrimp since she was told it wasn't spicy and had to take the breading off to eat it. Music a little loud, but still able to hear that people at the table. They seem to have lots of seating but on busy times you should get a reservation.

Google
We were excited to try this place, but our experience was disappointing. The noise level was so high we could barely hear each other, and we waited an hour to be seated — then another hour just to place our order. Service was slow and we had to ask repeatedly for basics. For a $200+ meal (before tip for 5 people), we expected better organization and attentiveness. The atmosphere and beer are great, but the service and acoustics need serious improvement. Maybe even some music ..?

Google
Great atmosphere and delicious food! They had a dj playing on the patio when we went, so we sat outside and enjoyed the entertainment. The fried pickles were so good, and I will order those every time I go now, and I will definitely be back! They also had games you can play on the patio too. I thought that was really cool! Overall, it was an amazing experience!!

Yelp
Great place to pop in and grab a bite after the Lugnuts game. Short safe walk. Food was good but service was extremely slow. Server was overwhelmed with too many large tables without additional help from runners.

Yelp
Lansing Brewing: A Comedy of Culinary Errors Oh, Lansing Brewing, you tried... or did you? This place feels like it's auditioning for a sitcom called "How to Disappoint Diners"--and it's nailing the role. The Brisket Debacle: Picture this: a slab of brisket so tough it could double as a CrossFit resistance band. I'm chewing, I'm sweating, I'm questioning my life choices. Did they cook this in a microwave? No, worse--they cooked it, re-cooked it, then gave it a PhD in dryness. My jaw deserves a Purple Heart. The Soggy Bun Mystery: How does a bun get this wet? Did it take a dip in the Grand River before landing on my plate? Why is it soggier than my hopes after this meal? I'm no detective, but this bun's a crime scene. Cold Sweet Potato Fries: These fries were so cold they could star in Frozen 3. I didn't know fries could achieve arctic temperatures while still being served. Were they chilling in the fridge, plotting their revenge on my taste buds? The Barmaid's Vibe: Our server was channeling "I don't get paid enough for this" energy so hard it was practically a performance art piece. She sprinkled in just enough apathy to make the experience feel like I was intruding on her bad day. Ambience? More like a masterclass in awkward. Parking Lot Chaos: And don't get me started on the parking lot. It's like everyone decided to park with the precision of a toddler playing bumper cars. Cars half out of spaces, diagonaling like they're making room for the Holy Spirit. Is this a brewery or a parking lot interpretive dance? Lansing Brewing, you're down bad, and I'm down worse for thinking this was a good idea. If you're gonna serve food this tragic, at least throw in a comedy show to distract us. One star for the unintentional laughs.

Yelp
We made a day trip to Lansing and needed a quick bite to eat for lunch. We love trying new breweries and this one did not disappoint. We had great service. Great food! And great beer! I will definitely be coming back to this place, next time we are in town. I would highly recommend the Fried Briney Spears (fried pickles). The batter was delicious and crispy. We tried the Michigan Hot Chicken sandwich and the Italian Sub. Both were great sandwiches. The fries were good! Hot and crispy. Also, they have a good kids menu too. My kid ate all of his mac and cheese. Tried a couple of the IPA's on tap. Both were very good. There is tons of seating. And even outdoor seating for warmer months.

Yelp
A friend and I stopped in for a drink and snack before a conference and we definitely were not disappointed. My friend ordered the poutine (which was very good, but I did not get a picture) and I tried the pretzel with beer cheese. I consider myself a pro taste tester when it comes to beer cheese and theirs did not disappoint. We sat at the bar, and our bartender made us fantastic drinks that we very much enjoyed. If ever in the area, would definitely stop in again.

Yelp
Had a great burger and fries here on a trip back from the other side of the state . Clean, open, industrial vibe. Friendly hostess and wait staff. Great beer. (The peanut butter comes highly recommended from my associate and we almost took some home - this close (pinching fingers together).) appears to be close to stadium! Great walkable area, plentiful parking lot.
google avatar

Janelle P.

Yelp
The pimento burger on a pretzel bun was definitely the move. Really liked this place - chill vibes, super friendly service, and the food was decent. The outdoor patio is huge too, can only imagine how nice it is on a warm summer day.

Yelp
I have visited LBC many times over the years and have had a good experience every time. Even more than that, I think the best cocktail I ever had was here. Do I know the name? no. Can I tell you much about it other than it had the turmeric simple syrup in it? No. Can I tell you if I had more than one? Yes, and I did. And it was awesome. Food wise I have never really had anything other than apps, and they have also bee good and tasty. I have never actually had a full meal here I don't think, and that is usually the way I roll at a brewery. They have a huge room in the back that you can rent out and has its own set of taps. Their Oktoberfest is delicious and I recommend it highly.

Yelp
Hot Popper (3/5): This grilled cheese was decent, but it was stuffed a little too full with peppers and onions. The cheese was also very gooey which resulted in an overall texture that was a lot softer than I prefer. The bacon got a little lost in the mix, so I would've loved a little more meat. The jalapenos added a nice little kick. The parmesan kettle chips that came with it were ok. I liked that there was seasoning on them, but the seasoning was too salty.  RATING SYSTEM 5 - Great (Need to get this again) 4 - Good (Would get this again) 3 - Ok (Might give this another shot) 2 - Not Good (Won't get this again) 1 - Bad (Telling people to avoid this)

Yelp
I have learned that breweries most of the time use food to sell more drinks so their food will be remembered as great for the demographics they serve. Since I don't drink and old, I judge the food and service differently. Very close to the ballpark and downtown, has a private lot that might not be enough on busy weekends. We walked or in my case rode from our hotel. Handicap accessible. The room setup for moving around but still loud if you have a large group to hear the other end of the table. Limited menu compared to other brewery pubs I have been to in 2 different states. 2 of us asked about the spiciness involving shrimp and was assured by the server that they were not. Wrong, both, shrimp mac and cheese & firecracker shrimp was very spicy to our much older pallet. Others were not impressed by their selections. Service friendly and knowledgeable expect for the level of spiciness. Don't know if I will be back.

Yelp
There was a kids birthday party they say us next to that had about 30 people and that was really annoying. They rented out the back room and they were so obnoxious I wish they would have shut the door so the rest of the patrons could have enjoyed our meal. That was the only bad experience. The food was great! I tried my husband's bbq wings and they were fantastic. I had the pork sandwich and it was really good except the bin gets really moist due to the pineapple. Next time I'll ask for my bun on the side. Service was alright except we had to search for our waitress a few times (I don't think she wanted to come by the party). I do not like their regular fries and our waitress did allow me to switch to sweet potato fries and they were great with honey mustard sauce!

Yelp
Excellent service, great drinks and cocktails, fun menu for kids as well as adults. Nachos were a hit, so were the wings and fried pickles. Salads were fresh, burgers were on point. Plenty of seasoning, flavor, and good memories.
google avatar

Nicole S.

Yelp
We've been here several times. They have really good food that is different from most breweries. Their beers are so good. We did not like the Hard Nose Cabaret wine we took home. And the Hard Nose Vodka was rough, even with cranberry juice. The service is hit or miss. Sometimes, you get a bartender/server who is on it. Other times, you get a bartender/server who has forgotten why they are there. They have a nice bar and lots of inside seating. Their outside patio is nice with umbrellas over tables and outdoor games to play. All in all it's worth a visit just for the food and drink, which is normally the main reason we all go to these places. Cheers!

Yelp
I was tempted to give three instead of two stars due to prior experience, but in the end could not. Still love the ambience of LBC, but food and service were lacking this day. Despite not being overly busy, there was very little server attention. Staff saw me grabbing straws from the server station, which didn't lead to more attentive service. After appetizers arrived, I still got back up to help myself first to appetizer plates, finally to silverware. One of the guests in our party finally received her glass of wine, after the server returned to get orders for a second round of drinks 10 minutes later. For dinner, I had the Poutine fries. Like always, the dish was right on, high marks! Another guest received the wrong side (server, not food issue), the salad was good but the extra shrimp ordered was so salty, they were barely edible. As a matter of personal taste preferences, I have to note that nobody liked the tomato basil soup, which should more properly be advertised as tomato based Herb Soup. The usually well executed Spartan Dip (spinach artichoke) was a tasty, but overdone thick paste. Sorry, I know this place can do better. This wasn't it.
google avatar

Bernadette B.

Yelp
I'm bummed out. I had higher hopes for this place, but it just landed with a dull thud. The service was fine, but we kicked it off with the garlic parm bread bites. What is this? It's barely better than cardboard. The rest of our entrees were marginally better, but not by much. I'd heard rave reviews about the sweet potato tots, but again, this was something that just didn't work for me. They had a decent selection of beers, but if it's not paired with good food, let's be honest, it's not that hard to find a good craft beer spot anymore. The best thing they have going for it is that it's a cool space, but other than that, this place felt like below average for what it advertises itself to be. We won't be coming back here anytime soon. There are too many interesting places in Lansing for this place to be so meh.

Yelp
Planned to meet some friends for lunch at Lansing Brewery, last week. I was last there in 2016, and didn't rate it very high. This time, it was much better than before. Their beer selection has expanded, with more variety and creative styles of beer and other beverages. I settled on the peach cider, which was refreshing. We both settled on the tomato soup and a cheese sandwich. The soup was cold, and a bit boring. My spouse ordered a chicken salad but found the meat to be cold and dry. The inside is inviting and warm, with Drew serving as the friendly host and Grace as a friendly and competent server.
google avatar

Noah S.

Yelp
I felt ambitious walking in here I had an amazing time and the food was horrendous The service was top of the line and I really appreciated it
google avatar

Jessica Cole R.

Yelp
Always a good and tasty time! The servers always seem happy to be there. We frequent for musical guests. The beer and food are both taste bud winners! It's definitely one of our favorites in the Lansing area.
google avatar

Christina C.

Yelp
Haven't been here in a long minute so maybe our stop in was an off day. The service at the table wasn't great, lots of time left needing beverage refills, never checked to see how the food was nor made the server handoff after their shift was over but we were at the table. We were a little disappointed w/ the lack of creaminess of the creamy tomato soup. The cauliflower wings definitely had enough batter to cover a whole head f cauliflower...very excessive. The chili was just that...chilly. All in all, it was a rough day for both the service and food for us.
google avatar

Kerry S.

Yelp
Hey, normal bacon is back! The menu is a bit "leaner" and "meaner", but all for the good. The mug club pours are consistently generous. Thanks for hearing the feedback!

Christy L.

Yelp
2nd time visiting. Food, service and beverage were all you can expect from a burger and beer place. I had the Bbq burger and it hit the spot! Fries were perfection also. Great atmosphere.... Spent quality time with the fam!

Yelp
Great atmosphere, food, and beer! I loved the large outdoor space. The service was also great and friendly and fast.

Yelp
Where do I begin? Let me first say I have been a fan of Lansing Brewery since my first visit 5 years ago. SO we were absolutely delighted. It was beautiful, hip, clean with great service and a better attitude from the staff who seemed proud to be working there. At the time, they had a lot of great beer they made themselves. My favorite was "The Angry Mayor" and second to "The Gov" which had a drawn picture of Governor Whitmer gracing the can. The food was delightful and healthy, heaping portions accompanied a decent price point. They also have outstanding pizza from (we suspect) a fire oven. My wife and I would share a Marguerite pizza along with an appetizer of fried pickles. We might get another set of drafts and be on our way with some swag from the front counter. We made several trips back, at least once a month. Then Covid hit and ruined a lot of things. Kept everything locked down for months after it lifted, venues were still struggling to keep it together. We expected and rolled with the punches. The food stayed pretty on par and slowly started to decline as prices started to go up and favorites disappeared from the menu. We attended a few times and found the oven not working - so we ordered other things and went on our way. Tonight, on a palmy evening in April we thought it would be great to stop in and enjoy the sunshine, atmosphere and some good food. We arrived to a half filled venue at about 5:30. Walked in the doors and were seated. We got our menus and water as we waited our server. We noticed the menu had changed again and our favorite sandwiches were gone. But that's ok. We can have the pizza. Our server dashed that quickly with a "sorry, our oven is not working". Ok. Back to the menu. We ordered some beer we knew from LB's line. We also ordered some different meals because our favorites were unavailable or deleted. We still had the sun and the promise of good food. The beer came and mine was absolutely flat. It tasted nothing like it had before, nor the 6 packs I would buy around town. Thats a disappointment. And our server was nowhere to be found. In fact, they never came back to the table. We waited and looked around and the fried pickles came. They were ok, but kinda burnt and greasy. Not the batter blown delectables from before. Our server must have left as we had another gal bring us our food in a to-go bag. We were confused and so were they. They thought it over and said, they put this on the wrong ticket and they disappeared and came back 5 mins later with platters and said she figured it out. Cool! OK. So we started on our sandwiches (that were 16.00+ with chips.) This was new to me. Chips. The sandwich itself was fair but very dry. It was a BBQ burger with Louisiana sauce, cheddar cheese and deep fried onions. It was also the DRYEST entree I have had in a very long time. My wife's was not much better. Her bun was soggy and the shredded chicken was just a smidge wetter than my entree. We waited for more drinks, or an offer of more water or something to finish. Nope. No one ever came back to the table. I had to walk to the cashier and ask him for a bill. He went and got it from our server and we sat there for a bit, noticed no one was coming and then I walked back and asked to pay. He then had to GET my server. They seemed irritated to have to come. They took the bill and card and handed it back to me. Didn't wait for me to sign or add tip. I did my diligence and paid/tipped. This was not good and alarming enough to write about, because in this day and age, $70 bills still are expensive for 2 people. I love this place and wish it would take a look at customer treatment when food and costs of the restaurant are more a factor than a pleasant meal and experience. I hope they fix it. I really do.

Yelp
I'm glad we got to experience the outdoor area at Lansing Brewing Company recently - the patio has cornhole, a fire pit, plenty of seating, and good vibes. There were lots of families with kids so it seems pretty kid-friendly. There's room to run around and everyone seemed to be having a good time. There was a Lugnuts game the night that Nate and I stopped in, so it was a bit busy, but we were able to snag a table on the patio after a group moved inside. They had almost 20 beers on tap when we were there, including a bunch of different stouts and a few lighter options, which was a bit refreshing since it seems so many breweries these days are doing tons of IPAs. We ordered the jive turkey reuben and upgraded to fries. The sandwich was just ok for me. The turkey had a slightly unpleasant mushy texture that was weird, and the slaw on the sandwich had a strong onion taste which I wasn't expecting. The sandwich overall tasted and felt like a tuna salad sandwich to me due to the onion flavor and texture, which was just weird when you're expecting a classic turkey reuben. I definitely wouldn't order this sandwich again, it just wasn't to my taste. The fries were good! And our server was great - on top of refills and very polite. I'd try some other menu items - the nachos looked tasty, as did the fried pickle spears. A fun spot to stop in warmer weather to enjoy the patio.

Alice E.

Yelp
Food was not good. Dry burger (even tho asked for medium - it was well done) and pork very dry. Disapointing. It was not busy and hard to get wait staff attention. Beer...eh Won't be back. If we're going to spend money on food - would expect some love to be put into it.
google avatar

Diane B.

Yelp
Such a cool vibe! We came during winter, but their outdoor space looks awesome! To get a good understanding of the beers they offer, we got 2 flights. The server said they range from $2-$3 per pour which is normal for flights. Overall the beer was good, our favorite was Amber Cream Ale. For food, we ordered the cauliflower wings with their Parmesan garlic sauce. They left the cauliflower large and it was delicious, one of my favorite cauliflower wings! My husband ordered the hot grilled cheese with jalapeños, chorizo bacon, and three different cheeses. He loved it! If were ever in the Lansing area we'll definitely be back!

Courtney C.

Yelp
Good food and cocktails. The outside is a fun hangout in the summer. We brought our boys here for dinner before a Lugnuts game. Quick service and friendly staff.
google avatar

Chad B.

Yelp
The food was so amazing! I'm so impressed with my first visit and it's everything I hoped it would be. I will note then certainly be back.
google avatar

Jessica M.

Yelp
Love LBC. It's in a great location, and has a great outdoor seating area in the summer and those warmer fall nights. They have great beers, and the food is good to boot. My favorite of all time? The cheese dip. WHY is it SO good?! Also I'm a fan of the Caesar salads, and the wraps are pretty dang good too. To be honest, you'd be hard pressed to find any bad food here.
google avatar

Teresa L.

Yelp
Went in with a group after a taxing day. Our waitress was very personable and helpful, remembering nearly everyone's name by the end. The food was served fresh and hot. The drinks were good and plenty. Nice place for indoor or outdoor entertainment. Spacious and not too rowdy when we visited. Will certainly visit again soon!

Rozanna N.

Yelp
Came in Labor Day noon for lunch and a refreshment, and waitress was going to seat us at a rather dark area, and we preferred a different one -- she visibly did not act happy to make the change. She put down a couple menus and we didn't see her again nor were we even offered water. Not a word from her or any other server. We noticed there were not very many other patrons there, maybe a half a dozen others. We finally just got up and left after waiting a VERY long time. Disappointing. Probably will not be back again for a long time either.
google avatar

Brittany E.

Yelp
I've visited LBC numerous times over the past few years and it keeps getting better. Some items on the food menu rotate, which is great, allowing you to try new things. The Northern Escape IPA is a great beer right now. The wonton nachos are delicious and great to share; they do have a kick. Service is fast and friendly. Seating in or out.
google avatar

James H.

Yelp
I had a cheeseburger and chips and it was delicious. A member of our party had the fish and chips. Each piece of fish was the size of a fish stick!! This was very disappointing! I believe it was $18 for this. Way over priced for fish sticks!! The lady serving us was wonderful and very knowledgeable of the beers available.

Mike M.

Yelp
I had a $17 cheeseburger and my wife had the fish and chips. Soggy fries and average fish. Cheeseburger had a huge bun and thin slice of meat. Not a huge fan. I want to leave but haven't seen the waitress in awhile.....
google avatar

Elizabeth D.

Yelp
We love the wonton nachos. They keep us coming back because I always crave them. I do enjoy the location and atmosphere there as well.

Jackie S.

Yelp
I am a newly established event planner and just hosted a retirement party there. The entire experience was wonderful. From the moment I booked it there was constant communication and assistance. Arrival day the room was ready, I had ample time to access it for set up and the staff was friendly and helpful. The food came out timely and tasted great. The bar staff were great, the house made alcohol was unique, everyone loved it. The drink prices were very reasonable ( cash bar was our choice). I would definitely use this venue again and even go there as a customer when in the area. Thanks to all of the team for everything!!
google avatar

Danielle N.

Yelp
This place was really neat. It was in the heart of downtown Lansing and not only is it a brewery but it is also a distillery. We sat up at the bar and each ordered a beer, mine an IPA and my husband a porter. We both really like our beer, my husband even bought a 6 pack to bring home with him. We ordered an appetizer of some fried pickles which were good, not the best but not the worst. Everything smelled amazing and I would have been willing to eat lunch or dinner there. We noticed a big group of ladies seated in a back room and realized it was a baby shower. The place definitely had the space for having parties like that. After my beer I switched it up to an actual cocktail, gin of course. It was very tasty and super delicious which made me order a second gin cocktail different this time around. Overall I would definitely be going back to this place again and would love to eat an actual meal. When leaving they had a little station where you could buy 6 packs and bottles of their distilled alcohols and also shirts and stickers.
google avatar

Mariko I.

Yelp
Just your average brewery Pros: great outdoor seating, friendly employees, nice beer options Cons: pricey for the quality, has that classically unsettling bar smell, my pizza had an absurd amount of cheese on it and it was underbaked, and the burger came out cold and the fries tasted stale Overall, it was way too pricey for the quality. I won't be coming back any time soon.

Julie T.

Yelp
We are not from the area and are from VA. Overall it was a great spot. The bartender knows whats up because the cocktails were great! We got the spinach artichoke dip and it was amazing. Our waitress was so sweet and down to earth, I believe her name was Grace but if I ever find myself back in Lansing, I will definitely come back! Highly recommend!!

Steven B.

Yelp
I recently dined here with my wife. The location is nice and there is a cool vibe to the dining room. I can see where this place would be nice in the summer when they open the place up. Food wise, my wife reported the fish and chips were good. I had the chicken and waffle. I found the waffle tough, it was clearly over mixed. The chicken was fried at too high a temperature which caused the coating to separate from the chicken. The bacon was unnecessary. Flavor wise it was very good. The waitress was indifferent and forgot a side order which I ultimately didn't miss. Over all the place has potential.
google avatar

Kristin B.

Yelp
Great selections of beers and cocktails, we loved the rhubarb infused vodka and the Arnold Palmer. The outdoor seating accommodated our large party and fun with the dog accommodating atmosphere. Food was great, healthy salads and even some beyond Meat or vegetarian options. Great location with such close proximity to the ball field. Great staff, accommodating and quick on their feet!
google avatar

Brian B.

Yelp
I'm not BIG on beer but every once in a while you want a beer or two. Tonight was that night based on a recommendation of a popular spot for locals. I went, I saw, I conquered. Great bar service, very food fries. And a good burger. Well cooked, it was a burger and it was good but nothing to brag about. I would come back if I'm ever in Lansing.
google avatar

Refugio L.

Yelp
Loved this place. Passing through and had to stop on by. The setup is inviting. The service was great. And the beer and food was great. The location was great as well. Walking distance to baseball field, convention center, and blocks from downtown. If I'm ever in area again, definitely stopping by again.

Yelp
Stopped in here before a Lugnuts game for the first time ever. Beer selection was just OK. I had an Angry Mayor IPA and it was nothing spectacular (3.25 rating on Untapped from me). Also ordered their poutine. The pulled pork on it was moist, tender and very flavorful. I couldn't tell if there was an actual gravy on it or just meat juices settling on the bottom of the dish, but I was it had more of a traditional brown gravy. Also it seemed like there was very little cheese throughout the dish. Kind of disappointing.

Yelp
Quick service. Fun outdoor games. Good food. Touchless menu. Online seating reservation was awesome!

Yelp
This was so tasty!! I was hesitant at first because fear of spice! But I am so glad that I got this sandwich! The tater tots and beer were also so delicious!

Yelp
Can't believe I just discovered this place, I wish I found it sooner! This is a cool local restaurant & brewery in the heart of Lansing, it reminds me of something you'd find in Downtown Detroit. Great menu full of amazing food and drinks! There is free parking, lots of seating, both indoor and outdoor, and quick service. It does get busy but I've never had to wait too long. This is a really fun place to go for a night out or just to try something new. Great atmosphere, good music, and of course lots of beer! I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Clean and super thoughtful place. Good food but better beer and spirits. Definitely a fun place for drinks and gatherings

Yelp
Came here for the beer and stayed for the beer. I thoroughly enjoyed the brews on tap. Food was also delicious! If you find yourself looking for a brewery to go to in the Lansing area. This is worth a stop and you will enjoy it!

Yelp
Really rude staff and horrible service. Save your money and time and go somewhere else. The restaurant had a horrible cleaning smell.
