L'Anthocyane

"For chef Marc Briand, the experience is what matters before all else. Installed in the centre of Lannion, he rustles up modern Gallic fare, dotted with Japanese overtones, in tribute to his avowed passion for the Land of the Rising Sun. as a result, some of his high-precision recipes, based on super-fresh Brittany produce (langoustine, lobster, John Dory), are sprinkled with Japanese ingredients such as yuzu, shiitake, miso, etc. Lashings of imagination, art-directed plating, stylish elegance and high-flying technique complete this culinary score. Let’s not forget the warm, colourful interior." - Michelin Inspector

The Least Expensive MICHELIN Starred Restaurants in France

"For chef Marc Briand, L'Anthocyane is the culmination of an impressive career. Building on his experience in Paris, he chose to open his own restaurant with his wife Marie here in the town of Lannion. He serves up his own brand of contemporary cuisine, in which he masterfully incorporates top-notch seafood, Japanese flavours and seasonal vegetables." - MICHELIN Guide

We had a delightful Michelin meal at L’Anthocyane. The service is attentive. Each dish had a wonderful blend of flavors and texture. Visually each was very appealing. I have had Saint Pierre fish four times on this long trip - this was the best. The fish was cooked perfectly and was a great texture. The sauces and creamed carrot were delectable. The cherry & chocolate desert was a nice ending. You will enjoy your visit as much as we did.

Great food experience while our vacations in Bretagne this August. We’ve chosen this restaurant to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and were very satisfied with food and atmosphere. We’ve selected an option of full menu with a wine paring. Food was very good and actually it was even a lot for myself)) The only thing I’d recommend, it’s to work a bit on wine list and it’s paring with this menu.

Google
Highly recommended. Creative cuisine, beautiful dishes, delicious meal. Dessert (chocolate) was a little too sweet for our taste and the accord mets & vins is not what we preferred, but overall this place is outstanding.

Star experience in everything: food, service and atmosphere. Perfect match of food and wine, airy touch of Japan in cousin. Worth to visit! Deserved a Michelin star in every aspect!

Delicious Michelin star restaurant, the hostess was as usual extremely nice, and the food is always perfect. One of our must-try in the area.
