Authentic Pizza, Great location and great service, friendly people! The pesto paste they give is absolutely delicious! Bruschetta is on point partner it with some burrata and you are good. The place is quite small but very busy, you know that the food is good. They pizza are stoned bake. Definitely would come back again!

What a gem of a spot. Walked in quite late on a Wednesday evening after a dip in the ponds. Super friendly staff, absolutely delicious pizzas and tuna salad. The special was amazing and washed down with an aperol spritz 😋

This pizzeria holds possibly the strangest set of waiters in London... 🥱The manager was utterly indifferent to our presence 🤔The young lady waitress brought us empty plates then changed her mind and put them on a different table 🥊 The same lady brought us two pizzas which weren't ours and then made a fast swoooop to the table behind, almost knocking my husband's head off simultaneously 🐴 The man with the pony tail noticed we had been waiting for our main course for over 45 minutes but didn't think to check until I asked him Overall, an odd dining experience. The starters were very expensive (£10-12 each) but didn't justify it. I had to ask for a finger bowl to use with my king prawns; perhaps I should have used it to add moisture to the poor BBQd crustaceans. The meatballs were average and the sauce was just undercooked and underseasoned passata. 6/10 overall. Our mains of two pizzas were forgotten and none of the three staff thought to check (it wasn't busy). When I checked, the manager finally jumped into action and was all charm and finesse with us after the obvious mess up (probably to avoid this review). As expected on a "rush" order, my pizza came out sloppy and under cooked 😭 but I was too hungry after being there for an hour to send it back. Had it been cooked properly I think it would have deserved its reputation as a top 100 world pizza. My advice: skip the starters and go straight for the mains but keep an eye on the pizza oven. It was our first (and last) time visiting - to me it seemed like the place is resting on its reputational haunches and keeping its prices high based on its location.

Initially, I believed I would thoroughly enjoy this restaurant. However, several incidents occurred that led me to believe a five-star rating is undeserved. Firstly, the pizza was excessively salty. Secondly, despite three empty tables being available, we waited an unreasonable amount of time to be seated. Once seated, there was a further delay before our order was taken. I observed that the tables were cleaned prior to our order being taken, which I believe should be done in the reverse order. Our initial serving of ravioli was rather dry and lacked any remarkable qualities. I would have expected a garnish of something green to enhance its presentation. It appeared that the kitchen staff prioritized speed over attention to detail. Fresh juice in a tiny not regular size glass. The service was severely lacking. The waiting staff did not seem to have designated tables, resulting in multiple servers approaching us at different times to ask the same questions. Assigning specific tables to each server would improve organization and ensure smoother service. After being presented with the dessert menu, we waited an excessive amount of time to place an order and eventually decided against dessert. However, upon receiving the bill, we discovered that the dessert had been added to our bill, which further diminished our impression of the establishment. Overall, the establishment appeared chaotic, unhygienic, and disorganized in terms of service. Despite these shortcomings, a service charge was added to our bill. While the dessert amount was removed upon request, I believe that the service charge should have been waived entirely due to the significant inconvenience caused. The lack of professionalism displayed was disappointing. It is concerning that dogs are permitted in such a small and crowded establishment. I have reservations about the hygienic implications of this practice. Additionally, the hygiene of the place left much to be desired. Regrettably, I can not recommend this place based on my experience and standards.

Very authentic! Absolutely delicious Pizza. Oven baked. Juicy tomato. I had the Alessandro Manzoni (aka Napoletana) with anchovies capers and olive taggiasche. A dream. To finish off a Affogato al caffè. Well done guys. Hey don’t forget a parmigiana to share as a starter. Divine!

The food is amazing! Proper Italian pizza! The tiramisu is maybe one of the best I ever had and I am a tiramisu lover! You should definitely try this place! Cozy and nice food! Very good service! ❤️

Great pizzas, tiramisu, and Nutella cheesecake. Probably one of the best Pizzas in the neighbourhood. FYI the restaurant is very "cozy". The space on the small tables is quite limited. Since there is very limited seating, there is usually a wait time in the evenings. They don't do reservations (as far as I know) but I'd recommend calling and checking the table availability.

Cozy environment, lots of choices, very fast service (we didn't wait longer than five minutes for the pizzas to arrive), delicious pizza, with super fresh ingredients. Good value for money. Inventive menu with pizzas named after famous Italian figures.

Pizza tasted fresh but poorly executed. We tried the Napolitano and margarita , margarita was good but Napolitano was way too salty. Both were too doughy and not fully cooked. Service was ok. This place is open until 1 am so it was the only pizza option and we were craving pizza , otherwise I would not recommend it and don't plan to visit again.

Hate leaving a bad review for a small business. We tried to call and have the issues addressed by the restaurant, and they basically told us they wouldn't even rectify the issue so .... From Saturday .... Ordered 2 pizzas and an parmigiana via Uber eats - I could count the number of onions on one hand (see pics) that they had as our single topping. And the mushrooms were less than a handful. It was like no love or care was put into making the food - just thrown out! and at £14 for an individual size pizza including the topping (£2.50) not really what you would expect! Also came cold when the journey is 5 mins down the road. Really disappointed.

This place had large groups of people waiting out front so we thought it had to be good. Maybe I'm not sophisticated enough for this place as clearly a lot of people were waiting, but pizza was horrible. Doesn't pizza have cheese?? It was like a tortilla (that thin) with tomato soup on top and spec of cheese here and there. So gross!! Made my husband eat a bit of it and then we will eat somewhere else. Personally I would not recommend or go back but maybe someone likes this type of "pizza". On the up side our waiter, Albert, was awesome!!

Pizza was very nice. Spot on Napoli. The house red wine was a great value. The staff were extremely friendly. They have a challenge managing a very popular restaurant with only 24 covers. The tiramisu was disappointing hence the rating of only 4 stars. The lady-fingers were hard not soaked. The ingredients were not melded but separate.

The atmosphere was nice. Man at front was nice and woman manger or owner was Unfriendly. Waitress was nice. Overall pizza is OK. UK style. Margherita Pizza is as flat and somewhat tasteful.. Not impressed... try it and get something different lol!

Came here after visiting the Sherlock Holmes museum. Ordered the fried pizza (which is basically a calzone) with thick dough and all cheese with pieces of ham. Didn't like. Bf ordered the marita which was fine but super thin and soggy. Can't pick up to eat, which is fine, but it was extremely mediocre at best. Don't come here if you're from the US... pretty sure you'd be disappointed.

Pizza was great, service was brusque. Just as a note: the pizza here is...for lack of a better word...'wet'. The crust is puffy and light and slightly charred (see: delicious) but either due to the thin crust or the abundance of tomato sauce (or both)...the pizza has a fair amount of liquid to it. This is not a slice that one can pick up, as there is just not the structure to the pizza to afford that. There are plenty of options and configurations for toppings. That said, I recommend keeping it simple: tomato, cheese, basil, olive oil. The Dante Alighieri is my go-to choice. Salads and pastas also available, but with such excellent pizza on offer...why bother? #pizzafiend Yelp note: also do take-away! Otherwise: reservations very strongly recommended (it's popular, and space is tight).

I came here on Friday night after hearing raves about the pizza and left a little bit disappointed. The good: - My gnocchi was delicious - The aperitif comes with a little bowl of olives and two pieces of bruschetta, which I thought was a nice touch - The pizza tasted fresh and homemade The not-so-good: - The service was... I'm not sure how to sum it up. The blonde waitress couldn't figure out which gnocchi I was referring to (despite there only being one gnocchi dish on the menu), I had to ask two servers for the snacks that came with my aperitif, and no one came to check up on us despite my trying to get attention to ask for parmesan. - The pizza, while nice tasting, was very wet. The crust was very thin (the floppy kind of thin) and the sauce was a bit too liquidy. It was nice tasting, but falling apart as we ate it. I'd probably go back if I wanted simple Italian, but make a reservation (the waitress was very flustered that we hadn't made one, even though someone else told us it was fine and that three of the six or seven tables hadn't been reserved, and to take a seat anywhere).

Came at 7 pm on a Tuesday. Website said no wait. Server said it would be 2 1/2 hours for a table. It's tiny inside and has only 6-8 tables. Ridiculous. Will not even try to come back.

The pizzas here may be the toast of the town but the service isn't! Ate here once and it was tasty, good pizza but it was all overshadowed by the rude server. The lowlight was when I asked for the delivered Diet Coke to be replaced with the ordered regular Coke. She snapped it away as if it was somehow my fault. Against our better judgement we attempted to eat there again one Fri evening, on a whim, as we passed by. We asked at the door about a table (totally prepared to either wait or be out of luck) and were haughtily told "it's Friday we are totally booked". How dare we presume to enquire about a table! Clearly we are morons to think they might have an opening...! No "oh no sorry guys" or "hope you can pop in another time" that other restaurants would offer in similar situation. Finished me with this place. Never again.

Satiated my craving for pasta here! Excellent food and service. This place is always crowded. We ordered Orecchiette Alla Siciliana and Scialatielli King Prawns. Both were delicious. For desserts, we ordered a tiramisu and profite roll. I loved the ambience and I was very satisfied. The prices are good and not expensive at all. Will come again to try the pizzas. They take bookings on the weekdays but not on the weekends.

Edit after first month or so of operation... Great food but terrible service. It's a small shop so there are bound to be queues. But you'll just stand in the front waiting for a long time until the staff bothers to speak with you, then they're rather unaccommodating and surly. Clearly they think they can just turn away business. Yeah, that's not a great strategy in this neighborhood where most restaurants last 12 months (see: their next door neighbors)

I really enjoy this restaurant. The pizzas are fired in a brick oven at the back and they are truly delicious. I personally had the gnocchi and it was lovely. Do call in a reservation if you wish to go on a weekend. There are only a handful of tables and the waits can reach over an hour without a reservation.

The place was really nice, pizza were great but I had pasta and the tomato sauce was a bit too acid... So it was disappointing for me but my friends were pretty happy with their pizza, service was great so, 4 stars anyway.

Stumbled across this gem after reading Gaucho menu and deciding to save that for when guests are paying..... Pizza from wood-fired oven is amazing. So delicious I'm surprised I wasn't arrested like George Michaels.... No Coke Zero, but Aranciata San Pellegrino was great. Service was a bit patchy, but the blond waitress noticed the Italian lads serving were busy conversing with Peroni-quaffing Ragazzos in the bay window, and she got me a menu and took my (custom) order. No Balsamico on the salad but Pizza, Profiteroles & Cioccolate Calda were sublime. £29 bill is maybe almost as steep as Heath St, but I realise the rent must be extortionate with Russian Billionaires and Air Stewards queuing up for the knobbly knees contest at the village fete.... Definitely going back with friends for dinner.... Profiteroles should be a permanent menu item not just a daily special

The best and real Italian Pizza in London! Wood fired oven, delicious desserts, typical Italian drinks and aperitif and a really good service! The guys are very kind and professional.

Solid homey Italian restaurant. Pizza (Marco Polo) was great. Ragu dish was tasty, yet tiny and identical to the kid's portion. Excellent Tiramisu.

Went to L'antica for lunch today and was really impressed. The pizza was very tasty, good size portions and reasonably priced. For pudding I had tiramisu which came in a cute little individual pot and I must say it was actually the best tiramisu I've ever had!!! Apparently they make them fresh each morning and it shows. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you're in Hampstead.

Great little Pizza place, can be very busy at peak times but its worth waiting if the queue isnt too long.

The best pizza in London! Fabulous authentic Italian experience

Alright little pizza joint- size of pizzas were ok, large wood-fired oven gives a nice touch. I was a little disappointed at the amount of toppings you get on the pizzas. They seem to just plonk a small handful of toppings onto the middle of the pizza- and thats all you get. Felt like we could of each have saved a few quid each by just ordering a margherita each-because it felt like that was what I got. Had the nutella pizza- again Ive had a chocolate pizza before (at Max Brehners) so maybe my expectations were a little high- but i didnt think it was done very well.

Incredible local place, which is rare in Hampstead! Great pizza and really charming staff.
