New restaurants to try in Las Vegas right now | Eater Vegas

"From the owners of Sister’s Oriental Market, this counter offers playful twists on Thai classics with dishes like pad see eiw, bowls of pad thai, light som tam plates, and khao kha moo, plus meat-free entrees and adjustable spice levels. Each table is served a complimentary kluay tod—deep-fried mini bananas in a coconut-and-sesame batter—adding a signature sweet finish. The spot operates late on weekends, open Sunday–Thursday noon–midnight and Friday–Saturday noon–2 a.m." - Susan Stapleton

This Laos Thai restaurant is fantastic! The som tum and larb are really delicious, full of flavor, and taste authentically Thai. The prices are very affordable, and the service is friendly and attentive. If you’re looking for great Thai food without spending much, this place is definitely worth a visit.

A small restaurant with excellent food. I ordered Lao Jerky, Nam Khao, Thum Mak Thang (Lao style), Isan Sausage, Sticky Rice, and a side of Jeow Bee sauce (made special, not listed on the menu). Enough food for 3-4 meals! I liked everything, though the jerky was a bit tough and chewy. Very friendly staff, and willing to accommodate your wishes.

Best Thai food in Vegas so far. Big portions, great flavor, great service! Careful the spicy level but overall amazing! The surrounding area is not so good but still a gem! Tom yum soup, veggie egg rolls, the curry, omg so good!

Wow, I’m Laotian, this food is incredible! And the service was great. The sausage tasted homemade, the papaya salad very authentic and flavorful, and the pork laap was delicious. Officially our new favorite Asian restaurant in Vegas! (and not too far off the strip)

Incredible Thai food. Don't judge the book by its cover. This place is the real deal. Went with some friends that were in town from Thailand and Taiwan, they agreed.

Coming from Wisconsin and visiting Vegas highly recommend this place for authentic Laos food. Restaurant seemed busy. We ordered hot papaya salad and it never came with our order but that’s ok we didn’t stress and asked they just remove that order from our check. Also it is located off the strip but not too far.

The food was super yummy. We tried Laos papaya salad, Nam Khao, and cooked chicken larb. We went with an 8 for spiciness. It was still pretty spicy — our tongues were burning! The Laos sausage and beef jerky with sticky rice were also really good. My hubby is totally obsessed with Thai iced coffee.

The food was incredibly tasty! We started with the papaya salad Thai style. Be careful when specifying the spice level on this one because it was very spicy Next course was the Nam Khao which was crunchy and flavorable. Final entree was duck curry with raisins and pineapple providing sweetness to the dish. Prices are very reasonable and portions are generous. Plenty of free parking.
