Lapis Room Art Gallery + Gift Shop

I had such a great time at this art gallery. The curators and staff were incredibly friendly and engaging, making the whole experience feel welcoming and interesting. They were genuinely excited to talk about the different pieces, offering insights into the artists and their work, which made it easy to get drawn into meaningful conversations. The variety of art styles was impressive. I especially liked that Grand theft auto video game style picture. Whether it was bold contemporary pieces or more traditional works, every corner had something unique to admire. It felt like a space where creativity was alive and constantly evolving. I've always wanted to walk through an art gallery with a glass of wine and soak in the atmosphere, feeling a little sophisticated in the process. If you're into art and good conversation, I highly recommend checking it out.

The Lapis room is an incredible art gallery, provisions store, and community hub! There is extreme thoughtfulness in every detail of the space and they highlight some of the most talented local artists in the gallery. An absolute must-see if you’re rolling through Albuquerque!

Possibly the best art gallery in town! Not just Old Town! I love the curated collections they choose to exhibit, and I've even bought one painting called "El Pescado" by Rachel Tapia recently. You could also buy different flavors of sparkling water, candles, soap, cards, and more! Run, don't walk, to visit a staple of Albuquerque! It's also connected to Noisy Water Winery. If you get wine, you can bring it into the gallery!

Was in the Lapis Room and I had a very intrinsic visit with some of the art. I like Reyes Padilla’s style of painting by sound.

My favorite local art gallery with a beautifully curated selection of modern art, and a lovely gift shop with so many cool art inspired items! The best part is the people - everyone who works there is so wonderful. And bonus, you can sip a glass of wine from the attached winery while you browse. Highly recommend!

Lapis Room is an amazing new imagining of the art gallery for a new generation! I love the eclectic mix of work from large paintings to gift-able items and from contemporary to figurative and even sculptural works. The entire team cares about art and artists above all else- I am not writing this from my bias of being an artist represented by Lapis Room but because I’m honored to be represented by such a generative and inspiring hub in the New Mexico art community. I hope every business I work with going forward treats me as well as they do!
