Hidden good brunch spot! First timer here and it is a spot I’m definitely coming back!! It was a popping spot even on a rainy Sunday! Food was absolutely good! Only downside was the iced coffee, tasted very water down but food was excellent! Had to try their highly recommended salmon Benedict and it was very good! The potato on side was perfect seasoning! Not super salty or bland. Parking is street but it isn’t hard to find!

At Larchmont Bungalow Cafe, the Steak Benedict was absolutely incredible perfectly cooked tenderloin with creamy sauce and soft eggs. The side salad with feta added a refreshing touch, and the toast was crisp and buttery. We also had the berry French toast, which was light, fruity, and the perfect sweet balance to end the meal 🍓☕ The atmosphere was cozy yet lively. Everything looked beautiful and tasted amazing — definitely one of my favorite brunch spots in LA. The only small downside was that the staff seemed quite busy, so they couldn’t pay much attention to each table. Still, overall, the experience was wonderful. Perfect for weekend brunch or catching up with friends ✨

I had a combo that was suggested and I ordered quinoa blueberry pancakes a chicken sausage with scrambled eggs, orange juice and cappuccino. Never had quinoa before the pancakes were great, loved the grilled chicken sausage Beautiful place inside and out, I opted to eat outside with the beautiful scenery and the Rain. It was the best Christmas eve breakfast very nostalgic it took me back to my childhood and made me feel like "A little Princess " thank you Larchmont Bungalow Cafe.

This place has been on my brunch must try list for a while. I was finally able to check it out. The vibe is so cozy and chic. It was worth the drive for me. Great place to grab food and chalk it up with a friend. Mexican mocha was great! Steak and short rib Benedicts were good!

This tucked away spot was peaceful and I enjoyed the coffee. You order at the counter and the order is brought to you. Breakfast plate was decent enjoyed the eggs. Service was good. Chicken sausage was huge and smelled good I couldn’t eat it.

Larchmont Bungalow Cafe is a classic LA spot for breakfast and brunch and it continues to be one of my favorite places to eat. I really love the atmosphere. It has a garden style indoor and outdoor setting that feels peaceful and welcoming. You can sit inside or outside and you are surrounded by flowers and greenery which makes the space feel relaxing and special. You order your food at the counter and then they bring it out to you. The service is always fast and the staff is friendly. The food quality is excellent and you can tell everything is freshly made. My favorite dish is the garden omelette and the chai tea latte with oat milk is amazing. The chai is smooth and flavorful and pairs perfectly with any meal. The portion sizes are generous and often enough to enjoy as leftovers later. This cafe is perfect whether you are grabbing a quiet meal by yourself or meeting up with friends or family. It is my go to spot for something fresh, satisfying, and served in a beautiful space. If you are looking for a great meal in a calm and lovely setting, Larchmont Bungalow Cafe is always a great choice.

Walked over from the swan boats on Echo Park Lake, which made for a nice day. I had the Impossible tacos on a lettuce wrap which were really good with some kind of crunchy thing, roasted peppers, and a unique flavor. I will try to make them at home. They were an appetizer but enough for a meal. My friend enjoyed her sandwich. The place was beautiful inside and out

This is a great spot, really nice patio, service is super nice and chill. Serving sizes are generous and everything has tasted great. Love the impossible burger, they put an entire half avocado on it and a big pile of delicioussss jalapeños slaw. No short cutes taken. And their lattes are yummy which is rare for a restaurant.

AMBIANCE ... Picture Ops... and feeling like you are far away from the city. This is your spot. I have been here three and it does not disappoint and I will tell you why... Food: 5/5 The food is a 5 out of 5 hands down. Everything is fresh and flavorful. The portions are just right to take some home and the prices are actually pretty standard especially with inflation. They have a huge menu of coffees, lemonades and teas and alcohol. You know how sometimes you get breakfast potatoes and they are kind of soggy and bland (hoping no one notices) no not here. Their potatoes have seasoning and are CRISPY but the inside is soft. YUMMY. Their fruits are sweet and their greens are crispy. We celebrated most recently my sisters birthday and most were saying what a great choice this was for Brunch as the food was good. They have vegetarian as well as vegan options. Plenty of pastries and cakes to drool over. Service: 5/5 Their service especially from the waiters is excellent. So you order at the front no one comes to you. Once you order you look for a seat and you get a number. Once your order is ready they will find you based on your number. The waiters were busting their butts off coming and cleaning and checking up on customers. Ambiance: 5/5 This place is just beautiful they have plenty to look at. They have lavender all around the outside seating area. They have cold water with cups to serve yourself while you wait. I love this place! Parking: It is LA and this area in the last couple of years has gotten more congested. They have a lot in the back that is always crowded so your next option is to look for street parking which is not that difficult to find. So that fixes that. You want some delicious food, photo opportunities due to their beautiful aesthetic and great service pay this place a visit. Toodles. ....

5/5: Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict with Egg Muffin and Fruit was one of the best I've had. Wasn't overly cheesy and the spinach was perfect to offset the typical (too) smokey taste of the salmon. Would get again! The fruit was also fresh and sweet and the bread was perfectly toasted. 4/5: Strawberry Tequila French Toast didn't taste like tequila nor strawberry... there's just strawberry on a normal French toast. It was good, but eggy at all, but it was very similar to the Eggo French Toast. Very thick cut bread, but I didn't mind. 4/5: Chicken Apple Sausage is pretty sweet. Never had a sausage quite like this; could be comparable to maple sausage, but even sweeter. Wouldn't get again since I prefer something more savory. There's a menu station outside the doors and you order inside and it gets delivered to your table. It's a cafeteria style. The seating area is super nice! Theres also umbrellas at every table for a sunny day. There's even a flea market nearby with a lot of vintage clothes.

Larchmont Bungalow Cafe is cute, chic and tucked away. This cool little big gem in L.A.'s very own Echo Park is an all day eatery from 730 am to 9pm daily. You can enjoy a meal, bit, sip, treat or casual cool trendy ambiance as well as free Wi-Fi, pup/pet friendly patio, and more. We popped in after a walk around the lake and area, close by on a Sunday late morning and walked in the order. The patio is shared with, Levant (Bistro + Bake Shop), Juice Farmacy, neighboring places and has an abundance of seating. You'll receive a number(s) for your table (per order if paying separate). They do have so limited table service, but it's mostly self serve. It gets pretty busy here, especially on weekends, but they run a smooth cafe. Aside from a huge assortment of food, the beverage list is plentiful as well. Anything from hot organic teas to coffee, wine, arnold palmers, smoothies, soda, brews, beers and more. I wasn't too hungry when we went, but hungry enough lol I ended up with a mega fruit bowl that was super enjoyable, but noted so many things to try for next time. The vegan and veggie options are many! Maple Bacon Tempeh Club Sandwich, Green Enchiladas, Burgers, Bowls, Salads, Tacos, "Chicken" Tostadas, Quinoa Blueberry Pancakes, Vegan Breakfast Burrito, Chilaquiles (vegan optional), so much! Really grateful for the good service and for bae for introducing me to this place. It's a bit on the higher side, but the portions are generous and the quality is thoughtful. LBC is immaculate and intimate, yet spacious. Has gender neutral restrooms. Shared lot parking with Levant and other neighboring business in a back plaza off Sunset Blvd. As well as street parking which allows you to enter from Sunset or the front entrance off Alvarado St. Definitely hope to pop back again soon and try some yummy offerings like their baked goods on display when you order.

Had brunch with a friend here and the food was delicious as always. I had the tequila waffles with a Swiss of house potatoes. I loved it! I also ordered a latte. This is one of my favorite brunch spots. Parking is limited in the small lot but you had always find street parking. I also love that they have so much seating.

Food was ok. I used to go to their former location in Larchmont. This location is definitely bigger! Parking might be a little tricky when it's busy. Good luck! The red and blue velvet pancakes are not worth it. Service was fast. Order at counter, pay, take a number, then sit down. The food will be delivered to your table.

Lovely green patio! Quiet place for school work or meetings. Coffee is very good and its a big seeing size. You order your food at the counter, grab a number and then a seat. Inside looks real cozy. I love that it's dog friendly. The Country Style Plate had pancakes which were perfectly fluffy, bacon was nice and crispy, eggs cooked to your liking. The chilaquiles are crispy with the perfect amount of sauce, pork meat had a nice taste to it. The multicolored chips make it perfect for a picture. Staff is attentive, polite and they keep the place spotless.

My friends and I like to come here for brunch after long night shifts. They're open super early which is great because we are tired and ready for mimosas lol. The cafe is super cute! The patio has a super nice aesthetic and the inside is nice and cozy. I love how they also have a pastry display with a beautiful array of desserts and pastries. The food is a little bit on the pricier side, but everything is really high quality so it more than makes up for the price. Everything I've tried so far has been a hit! The menu has a lot of interesting food options. The latkes and lox and the quinoa bowl are no exception, but they're both super tasty! Definitely give this place a try!

The food was delicious! I feel like you get what you're paying for. I ordered the country lifestyle breakfast and everything tasted good! They don't skimp on the bacon and pancakes. The servers, cashiers and bussers were all really kind and helpful. We got our food quickly and it came out hot and fresh! If you're on a low sugar or sugar free diet, they do not have sugar free syrup, unfortunately. I would recommend bringing your own like I did lol. Parking was difficult since the cafe shares a parking lot with the other businesses in the plaza. It was a rainy day but we sat outside the restaurant which had a roof over and some heat lamps to keep us warm. I would definitely come back again to try their other items!

This is my second time here, and 2 for 2 - the food hit the spot! I like that you're able to come up to the counter to order, pick a seat, and food arrives quite quick. There's lots of seating indoor & outdoors - very pet and family-friendly. The vibe is super cute with lots of greenery, even some that you can take home. The only reason this review is 4-stars & not 5, is the lady who took my order this morning was rude.

I absolutely adore a cafe with pretty decor / nature-y aesthetic. My boyfriend chose well!! We walked in, ordered at the counter & opted for outdoor seating for the natural sunlight & cool breeze. There's ample seating both indoor & outdoor. Friendly service. Our food arrived within 15 minutes. We enjoyed every item we ordered. I got the salmon benedict with a side of fresh fruits - loved it. My boyfriend got the bacon egg benedict with fried potatoes and he also loved it. I couldn't resist ordering a slice of cheesecake which was creamy & yummy. Our lattes were good as well. I got the iced blackberry vanilla soy latte & my bf got the pumpkin latte. Both were good, not overly sweet & had just the right balance of espresso, milk & syrup. Overall, a great place for a brunch/lunch date. Would come again.

Super friendly waitstaff and welcoming people. Nice outdoor seating. Nice crisp with cheesy cheese. Bell peppers and onion nicely cooked down. Egg was fluffy, chicken was tender. Just needed seasoning. Please just salt and pepper pls lol.

Considering that I went at an extremely busy time I understand how the quality can slip a little bit, I enjoyed the chilaquiles flavor-wise however they were not hot. The French toast was perfect however! Very pet friendly and the seating can easily be arranged to accommodate small or big groups. Maybe avoid this spot on a weekend afternoon... the brunch rush is huge!

This place is so cute and clean! There's seating indoors and outdoors with plenty of space and it's all got a very earthy boho vibe. Was not too busy when I went. There is a parking lot for the attached plaza, it was pretty full but I was able to find a spot. The seafood lovers omelette was very generous with the seafood. I usually don't like hollandaise sauce but this one was good and not too thick so it had a good mouth-feel without being overwhelming. The potatoes were well seasoned crispy.

The food here is generally quite ordinary, the kind you can find anywhere and I didn't find the taste to be particularly special. Considering the quality, I felt the prices were a bit too high. Also, if you're thinking about ordering the "matcha tea," I strongly advise against it. It didn't taste like matcha at all more like the water used to rinse a cup that once had matcha in it. Completely flavorless and disappointing!

Really enjoyed the peaceful outdoor seating they had, of course, in addition to their wonderful food :) Honestly some of the best breakfast potatoes I've had in a while! We got a variety from sweet to savory breakfast dishes, and we all enjoyed it!

Pretty bad from start to finish, so bad I had to make a Yelp account to post about it. The girl at the register was either tired or in a bad mood or something. Whatever that's fine, you do you girl. Put in my order and food came out surprisingly fast. My mom mentions her pancakes taste like they've been sitting, I tried it and it was cold and a little tough. My pancakes and French toast came out warm, but the pancakes tasted like nothing but flour. The French toast was a little better, but tough. I tried my bacon, good and crispy, but also cold like my mom's. Brought the bacon up to the counter and explained, she said they make it when it's ordered but offered to replace it. I went with that. The bacon they brought me was warm, but tasted worse. It was dry, not crispy, and tough, like it had been microwaved. I kept eating it thinking it'd get better but it didn't. Nothing good except the vibe of the place, but the food was awful, seemed like it had all just been sitting, and the service at the counter was terrible. She didn't even care. The guys that brought the food out were nice though, can't complain about them.

This is one of many delicious brunch spots in Silverlake / Los Feliz area. I went here with my family for Saturday brunch and it was not busy at all. You queue up to order and then get a number and sit anywhere indoor or outdoor. I recommend the outdoors for the ambience, but it's mostly up to preference. Water is self-serve, but utensils and napkins are only available upon request which can make it a bit of a hassle to flag a server down at times. We tried the Red & Blue Velvet Pancakes, Lobster Crab Cake Benedict, Wonton Seabass, and Grilled Sirloin Steak. The red and blue velvet pancakes are their signature dish and is in good timing as it was only a few days around 4th of July - colors of red, white, and blue. They're not the typical pancakes as they are really thick, but the pancakes themselves are sweet and flavorful on its own and I didn't need to use much syrup, if at all. The lobster crab cake benedict was delicious and has a lot of seafood. For $19.95 it was one of the better deal items on the menu. The egg is not really poached well though as it was a bit overcooked. Wonton seabass was excellent - the crunch from the wonton strips followed by the fresh seabass and grilled vegetables make this a hearty yet healthy dish. The grilled sirloin was okay, a bit on the salty side, but it comes with 2 sides so we opted for potatoes and salad. We also got a lemonade that paired well with the dishes but they forgot about it so we had to remind them halfway through the meal to get the drink. Otherwise, food came out fairly quickly. Overall, I enjoyed the food and the value is really good. This place is fortunately not as busy as other ones in the area so it's an excellent alternative or option to dine here. However, it fell short on the service and logistics that somewhat hindered our dining experience.

One of my favorite places to take friends and family when they come to visit. Mainly went for brunch but went for dinner for the first time this last weekend and it definitely exceeded my expectations! The food always seems like really great quality especially for the prices. The menu is also highly varied so it's easy to get hooked wanting to go back to try everything else!

Love how cute this place looks! The inside is so pretty with all the hanging plants and decor. I came here to study - they do not have wall plugs but the wifi is fast, so come with fully charged devices. It was empty when I came on a Wednesday afternoon but I'm sure this place gets packed for brunch on the weekends. I ordered an iced chai latte and it was delicious, possibly one of the best chais I've tried. They also have tables outside (although inside is a ton better). Pleanty of parking near the cafe when I came.

3.5 stars. We have been there a few times now. It's somehow either really good or mediocre and that's very unfortunate. I'd like for a place to be consistent. Do they have different cooks depending on the day of the week? I've had the smoked salmon plate twice and I wish they'd put more lox on it and they replace the whipped salmon spread with just cream cheese. The chilaquiles were pretty good and the red and blue velvet pancakes are OK but they look really nice. You have to stand in line to order your food which I'm not a big fan of. Service is very fast and efficient. Parking is a little hard but nowadays that is everywhere in LA.

Their chef specials are worth checkinh out! My dad loved the chicken blt with sweet potato fries. I enjoyed the honey mustard salmon! The quinia with veggies was great and the greens had an amazing garlic flavor. Their smoothies are also a must have.

The food is mid. But the atmosphere is cutes. Go for the company. But don't take home the left overs. Trust

What a great place for brunch. Our dear friend brought us here on a Saturday morning around 11:30am and the place was buzzing. The service was attentive and fast. The ambiance is very relaxing and the people seem to be regulars. Parking can be tricky, but this is LA so like duh The food was delicious! I've never had huevos rancheros on top of a tostada, but I must admit they were really good. My partner raved about her eggs Benedict so I will add that they were also tasty. The coffee is legit, good flavor, tastes like coffee (which is like not common now a days, iykyk) Anyway, I'll be back to try more stuff hopefully soon.

Great ambience and a lot of space for seating inside or outside! Was pretty hot when we went but there was a lot of shading from above to keep us away from the direct sun. Very packed but was quick to find a spot. I got the lobster salad. Pretty good but I wished there was more lobster for the price which almost made it not worth. The coffee we got was good! And the rainbow cakes we got were chewy and warm. Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambience: 4/5

Its been so long since I have been here. I came with friends and family today and i felt so bad as it was my first time here at this location so I didnt know where the parking was and we went cicling around until we found the parking lot. The omlette was little too salty. Other than that service was good and kids took great pictures

We came here on a Saturday morning after attending mass, at around 9am. First of all, parking wasn't a problem for us at this time. Second, there were a lot of tables available, so we found a spot that we all liked. We were a group of 4, and we ordered Chilaquiles, the Traditional breakfast, crepe and an omelet. Everything was superb! I loved how the chilaquiles was so flavorful, this is by far, the best chilaquiles I have ever had. The ambience was so nice, staff is awesome. I will definitely come back for more!!

Came here after church on a Sunday and was super impressed with this place! It was a total vibe! I LOVE IT! Tried their sirloin steak and eggs and their Red & Blue Velvet Pancakes and was blown away. I loved every second of it. Both outside and inside is really nice. Great for all occasions (friends, family, date, etc.)! Probably one of my favorite brunch spots I've had so far. Plenty of parking! Highly recommended and will definitely come here again!

Awful service. Had to wait 10 minutes in line to pick up my food that was already ready. Cashier told me there's only one line and she couldn't be bothered to hand me my bag of food. If that is the policy then it's ridiculous, or if she made it up then it's still ridiculous. Lame.

Came here for lunch yesterday, my boyfriend called to check if they were open bc it was a holiday and the person in the phone said, "I picked up didn't I?" RUDE AF If I knew that's how they answered the phone we wouldn't have even came here. It's a cute aesthetic but the food was mid. Ordered the fish tacos, they were good but they were like the most ripped up pieces of fish torn on top of a taco that was full of guacamole and mango salsa. Ordered the chicken Ceasar salad, it was okay, really finely chopped and the Ceasar dressing didn't taste like Ceasar. Got the wonton sea bass, the sea bass was a small portion and buried under a bunch of vegetables. Nothing was seasoned though. We asked for salt, and they told us they didn't have any!!!! Duhh of course they don't bc the food was not flavorful and disappointing. I will never come back here.

Cute little cafe hidden at the back of the parking lot. Ambience was super cute for brunch or coffee with friends. I had the honey cinnamon latte and it was delicious. Food was so yummy and did not disappoint. . Priced right for what you get. The food runners were extra friendly and kind. We will be back.

Someone cooked here.. and it sure wasn't vegan. Bright yet shaded outdoor patio with a low profile indoor seating area, you stand in line to place your order and take a number for your table in order to be served. You serve yourself your own water, and unfortunately there is no refills made on your black coffee. The Cafe is behind a small parking lot plaza, great for catching up with friends as the ambiance noise is comfortably loud. We ordered the 1. Chicken and waffles, 2. Steak and eggs, 3. 7 oz top sirloin steak, 4. Quinoa pancakes, and 5. Tofu scramble. Based off my families rating: 1. the chicken and waffles was a solid 8. However, they dusted the chicken with the powdered sugar instead of just the waffle, and there was no savory sauce included, just maple syrup. 2. Steak and eggs: 5/10. Would have been a 7 if they had not put the focaccia bread underneath everything, causing the bread to be soggy. 3. 7 oz sirloin: altogether a good meal! The sauce was savory and paired well with the rice and beans. A meal whose side dishes is hard to f*ck up. There was no fish included in our meals. I'm the only vegan member and opted to order the: 5. quinoa pancakes: delicious and soft. Hearty, nutty, with a decent portion of dusted sugar and blueberries. 8/10 6. Tofu scramble: what started off as a good rating, very quickly faltered into disappointment when I found fish in my tofu, supposedly vegan, scramble. I didn't wish to complain, as I was almost halfway through my meal, yet my sister insisted I take the dish back. The cashier only gave us two options: either remake it or issue a refund. Inconsiderate, as I believe it is under the restaurants courtesy to offer both and not just one. We opted for the refund. No apology from him, or the kitchen. Instead just a "thank you come again." Very robotic. Four meals and four drinks for about $140. Not too shabby for the price, but I do expect the service and food quality to be the same as what you pay for, which was not the case. Unsure if I would come here again, but if I do I'm really hoping to not find fish in my vegan dish.

Unfortunately the food was very below average. Besides the sweet potato fries that came as a side for my vegan burger, everything else was just not that great. The LB french toast was the biggest disappointment. It was straight up just barely toasted white bread with nutella slathered on to it. Like it truly did not have any semblance of french toast. I think you can see in the photo how undercooked and plain the french toast is. My vegan burger was okay. The aioli on it was the redeeming quality. My friend got the chicken pesto panini and she said it was very underwhelming. The mimosas were delicious. But unfortunately, overall would not recommend at all.

One of my favorite brunch spots! When you come here you need to first order and get your table number before you find a place to sit. This place has really cute backyard vibes and inside is filled with hanging plants and lilies. The food is really good, I always end up getting the breakfast panini with rosemary potatoes.

The service we received here was terrible! Our food had mold in it too! Would not come back again. 0/10 We were served moldy fruit and the worst of it was when we brought it up with the waiter he shrugged it off. He did not seem surprised by the mold. Alarmed by this we asked to speak to the manager to make sure these kind of molded fruit won't get serve to other customers. When the manager first came to us she claimed that we were lying since she said "our fruit is cut so there is no mold" (that brings up the bigger issue of letting cut fruit out long enough to mold). After we showed her the obvious mold on our fruit the manger acted nonchalant about this issue and did not seem to care as well. The lack of response to this problem and the fact that there was MOLD (on fruits) is a dead set reason NOT to come back. 0/10.

One of the best brunch places in Sunset Blvd. Au naturale dining is so chill and relaxed any day of the week. Week came in a weekend and the place is packed but the place is huge with both indoor and outdoor to accommodate the comin and goin of patrons. We'll priced and tasty meals available all day. The avocado toast is the finest so far. The clam Chowder can rival the most popular ones. Parking is free but tricky you need to get in early to avoid the weekend rush of people lined up to spend their morning meals here. Nice upper middle class crowd. Service is fast and courteous. Highly recommended!

If you didn't know about this place by living in the immediate vicinity, you would never see it. We stumbled on it by accident after parking next to it to go to a different place. I made a note to read the reviews and try it, and this is what we did. It is hard to rate any place using such a simple 5-choice system, so, while I am constrained by Yelp to use it, I can start giving a more granular rating, on a scale of 0 to 10, to each aspect of whatever entity I am analyzing. Parking: a 6-7: There appears to be parking behind this cluster of restaurants, but I haven't tried it yet. There is parallel parking on nearby side streets as well as on Alvarado itself. Give yourself 15 minutes to find the right space. Personally, I don't like lots because they are hard to move around in and can lead to nicks and dents. Neighborhood: a 5: This is a mix of craftsman beauty and seedy, run down 60s cheap concrete construction. The homes nearby can be beautiful or neglected. I believe Echo Park is gentrifying, for all the good and bad that brings. Dress simply, wear shoes with support, and wait for a pleasant surprise. Larchmont Bungalow Cafe, setting: 9: It's leafy, treed canopy shades a lovely patio festooned with cafe tables and chairs, clean, cool, and cheerful. The outdoor space is shared by three eateries. It can be a bit confusing but a sign points to LBC, where you need to head to sit inside, or order for either in or out. Make sure you find a menu as you pick your table. You will want to sit and review the extensive list of choices, many vegan and vegetarian, and then place your order, which will be brought to you. Menu: 10 - vast, varied, enlightened. You can get everything, for the entire time they are open. I didn't see desserts listed, but there are pastries in a counter near the cashier. Food: 9 - delicious, fresh in appearance, amazingly flavorful and cooked perfectly. I had the best roasted potatoes I can remember. The portions are generous and there are sophisticated touches, like mache sprinkled over the plates when they could have used a more pedestrian lettuce or parsley. Service: 5: The service is adequate. Nothing more or less than needed to order and receive your food. Still, everyone was pleasant and responsive when queried. No warm and fuzzies here, but then, you can just leave a modest tip in the jar at the counter, to offset it. This is largely a lunch spot, casual and quick. No need to linger, except! ... Interior ambiance: 10! So charming. I will let my pictures do the talking but notice how well lit from natural skylights each area is and the quality of the brick, wood, wainscoting, smooth leather benches, a wall of spotless mirror, wooden tables, and a stone floor. They decorated with whimsical pieces for Halloween. It was simply delightful to be there. The patrons are upscale locals, largely, because the prices are not cheap. Clean, quality, cheer, charm, extras -- I can't complain about anything here. It is worth a try. You won't be disappointed.

Matcha was bland, food was a lil bland too (especially for the price) but it wasnt bad either. It's a nice ambiance in the cafe which was best part.

Well, this place had my Hopes high, it has such a great ambiance but the food on another hand was disappointing, my husband had chilaquiles with a side of HAIR, there wasn't even a sorry about that, then I had the steak and eggs the steak was over seasoned which made it salty.

We came around 10 and there was just a short line. So you come up to the cashier, order your food & drinks, then go sit down. Nice outdoor sittings. Water stations are available around the place. Plenty of shades too. The drinks are mediocre. Nothing special. The food was amazing! Potato seasoned very well. Steak was tender & cooked right. just a little note, do not order the Benedict on the brioche if you hate soggy bread. Ours became soggy and disintegrated. Service was fine, nothing special. Food came out fast. Overall a very nice experience. Will come back again!

Very sad I have to change my review. I've been coming to this cafe regularly for going on 3 years now which the food has always been great but today I was treated very poorly by the manager Veronica. She's only taken my order maybe a hand full of times and she's never welcoming, kind or patient but I get you can be overwhelmed especially with such a popular place like this but what she did today was just unacceptable. I will be reaching out to another manager regarding this matter in hopes to at least get an apology for what she did to me today. I will say that the young man Alan was genuinely sorry and kept apologizing which I really do appreciate. Alan and another man which I think is the other manager are the ones who always take my order and I have never had an issue with them, they are very kind, professionally friendly and very accommodating. I do still love this place! The food is fantastic, they bring out the order so quickly with great presentation, they sometimes check up on your table to make sure you received all your items and all is well. Just very disappointed with the manager Veronica and her service today. As you can tell I love the turkey guacamole sandwiches, steak and eggs, chilaquiles and the Nutella platanillo French toast.

The ambiance here makes this cafe the best in my opinion in echo park. There used to be a few other great brunch places around here but they've all vanished while this stays as an awesome location. The food is as good as it gets for brunch. Highly recommend this place

Its "alright" and thats about it, the location and atmosphere is the main draw. The food was nothing to write home about. I got salmon benedict and my wife got jambalaya scramble. The eggs benedict was over cooked and let out a gush of vinegary water all over my plate when I cut into it. Barely any salmon and a heaping pile of spinach. The hollandaise tasted old, and capers were out of place in this dish. The jambalaya scramble was not very good at all. Side potatoes are over seasoned with seasoning salt and soggy. You order at the counter, you're given a number and you sit down. The food is brought to you quickly and efficiently by an attentive wait staff. Kitchen staff needs some work.

Stir Fry Vegetables clearly state what is included. It does not mention "avocado rice with egg" unless you substitute the side in. I clearly did not, as I am vegan so WTF do I have egg on my rice?

The food is good, but the service is really strange. You pay upfront ans then go find a seat. But you feel obligated to tip because you feel like the service is going to be good, but then all they do is drop off the food and take off. If you order a small side or extra syrup, they won't come back. Sometimes you're forced to go up to the register and ask again. But the food does have good flavor and different selections.
