Outstanding restaurant for any fun of meat. They offer an outstanding variety of cuts for bœufs, lamb and cochons. Meet quality is superb and renders traditional French way of cooking meet on fire with an impeccable tenderness and matching with sauces based on butter. Wine card is well crafted, you will have a variety of choice. Ambience in the resto is cosy, funny with lots of details that each meat fun will appreciate. Always take reservation, waiting time is at least 2 weeks and the resto is rather small and extremely popular. Price is high and fully corresponds to the quality you get.

It was pouring rain. Our booking was 7:30pm, we arrived and were the only customers there. We had second thought for a minute. After we were seated, within the next few minutes, other customers came in and the place was full house. We were excited and overwhelmed with the meat display and the menu. And yes, we ordered too much again. For starter, the two of us shared the Roasted Bone Marrow (Os à Moelle). Very filling for us... at the next table, four people were sharing this. For plats, we ordered the Tartare Limousin Classique and Entrecote Limousine 400g. The steak came with a potato gratin and we also had a side green salad. The meat quality was good and the taste was on the spot. The potato gratin was done perfectly with crispy top and well seasoned. Perhaps we should have just ordered two plats only... so we can finish the whole potato gratin. The restaurant is buzzling and can be noisy if you are sitting next to a large table. Staff is pleasant and generally accommodating. Although there is a long list of interesting fromages and desserts, we have simply no room for dessert this time.

Another level from the greatest level. My best experience in a meat restaurant ever. Staff was attentive and friendly. Ambiance is accompanied by good music and atmosphere. The cooks and employees are all friendly and helpful. The chef Sylvain and the host Emilie take the experience away from the classic service, they just make it unique and EXTRAordinaire. I’ll be back. Many many many times. Thanks l'Argot.

It’s my second time there! There’s nothing to say about the quality of the meat! It’s one of the best in all France! I would recommend to make a bit more effort with the potatoes! They are a bit dull compared to the quality of the restaurant!

A real heaven for meat lovers!! Very kind and polite staff, doing their best so you’d have a perfect meal there. We had Carpaccio and Italien ham as starters, lamb chops and cured “Aubrac” ribeye as main course. All perfect! Highly recommended. P.S. reservation is required and they’re always booked for the next few days, so the sooner you make that reservation the better!

4 stars because I asked for my steak to be blue and it was medium rare. I had a coworker with me who is American, I think someone on the staff may have assumed we would like our steaks cooked more because we're American. Both of our steaks were overcooked...still good, but overcooked. Marrow bones were good and the brioche was a delicious dessert. The wine was also very good. Service was good but seemed strained during peak hour. I tried to come back the next night...not specifically for food but to ask the sommelier out on a date. Well, she wasn't there and they were booked. Maybe if she reads this...

Wow... wow. I'm almost speechless. i just feel like I have to write a review before I fall into an amazing meat coma. If you didn't read my review of the Meat House, this is what you need to know- "All of the greatest steaks of my life have come from this meat house. There is nothing quite like the greatest steak of your life, I'm convinced it gives you slight superpowers and a feeling of euphoria." They have officially been beaten, but let it be known that Lyon has an unfair advantage. This place is clean, sleek, and smells amazing. There is a pristine glass case where you can see dozens of perfect-ten types of meat from the best regions in the world, and you can pick whatever you like. That is, if you don't want to order from their awesome menu. Best part is, the prices are fantastic. You get incredible quality for a price that is much lower than what I'm used to for product like this. Best steak dinner at a restaurant in my life. Make a reservation atleast a week in advance, or you lose.

By far the best steak I have ever had. There is a window where you can choose from an enormous range of quality cuts. Personally, I had the t-bone limousine and it was fantastic. They only charge 14 euros on top of the meat price for you to eat it in the restaurant. The bone marrow starter was also simple and excellent. The decor is quite nice too and the prices are excellent!
