The staff and service is great, they are caring, helpful, and care about the food quality. The hot dogs are amazing, some of best gourmet hot dogs I’ve ever had, no kidding. They have outdoor seating but the inside is cozy and welcoming too. Great place to hang out with friends for dinner and have a few drinks.

Goetta breakfast tots paired with their house infused peanut butter tequila & jelly vodka? Yes please! Add in their personable and jovial bartenders + classic arcade games + stationary sinks and you have me recommending Larry's to all my friends 😻

Larry's is the place that you didn't realize that you needed in your life. This hidden treasure is in Covington - off of the beaten path and that is part if the charm. It has the vibe of a dive bar, but clean, inviting while keeping all of the comforts of dive - pin ball, pool table, 80s decor. Hungry? Grab some crisp tater tots and be sure to check out the specialty dog menu- Dog of the day is a go to.

Nice bar. The "vibes" are right. Hot dogs are good but need to be bigger to compensate for the bun size.

Cool little dive bar; with a good vibe. Tater tots needed to be crispier but they caliente topping was fantastic. Tots, pickled red onion and guacamole.... Sounds questionable but was fantastic, will be back.

I had their special. I was definitely homemade barbecue delicious!. Staff was attentive and courteous. Hubby had Chicago style hot dog. Said it was close but celery seed bun really makes it and it was just a plain bun.

We came here due to the reviews, and fell in love, it's just the cutest little "dive bar" hole in the wall with delicious daily specials, and fun and creative hot dogs. I had the red beans and rice special, and my fiancé had the caliente dog. We shared the bacon ranch tots. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was fun and friendly!

Larry's is one of my favorite weeknight stops. It's a friendly corner bar with a selection of hotdogs and tots. Try the Hawaiian Dog, and thank me later.

Best Sunday funday staff is great!! The price always right and they have jello shots. One of the best dive bars in Covington, the atmosphere just makes you feel comfortable! Outdoor and indoor seating options. Extensive hotdog menu and the breakfast burrito might be a little basic but reminds me of home.

Came here for some drinks before the Covington Rat Races. I love the feel of this hometown/hole in the wall bar. Didn't have any food, but they have some hot dog options.

Larry's is everything a neighborhood bar should be. Tucked away on a quiet corner in Covington, it's welcoming, super friendly and has a great soundtrack. If that's not enough, then you need to know that it offers reasonably priced drinks and has a small, perfectly executed menu of hot dogs and tater tots. I had the Caliente (all beef, cheddar cheese, pickled onions and jalapeños, avocado and cilantro), my husband had the Cincinnati Cheese Coney and we split a large order of bacon ranch tater tots. Everything was good and the tater tots are a must have. Bartender Drew was great, learning our names and remembering them when my daughter happened to stop by later that evening. There's a pinball machine, pool table and a memorable ladies' room. We look forward to our next visit!

An extremely laid back, neighborhood bar. Larry's is famous for their hot dogs, a reputation that is well earned. I though enjoy their melt-in-your tater tots and one of the absolute best BLTs that you will find anywhere.

Great place to hang out and chill after a long hard day. Has a Cheers atmosphere with great staff. But don't come here, we want to keep it all to ourselves.

We popped into Larry's on a Sunday afternoon with some friends. The social distancing was SUPER well done, everyone was following rules and staying in their areas. The vibe in Larry's is really fun, the staff were incredibly cool, and the drinks were great. What more can you ask for out of a bar? OH! The hotdogs! It does get better! The hotdogs were worth the visit all on their own! We tried the chili dog and the Chicago style, which were both really stellar. I for sure see Larry's being a regular stop for us in the future. Y'all are doing everything right, keep doing it!

Living only a few doors down, I had been waiting for Larry's to open for quite some time. Now that its doors are open, I've been a couple times and can safely say that I'll be back! Larry's is, by design, a dive bar (and a great one!). You can feel the home-y vibes when you walk in the door. The drinks are cheap and the food menu looks great (hot dogs and tater tots), though I have yet to partake in the food. There is a pool table right at the front of the bar when you enter and there's lots of seating available (even a side patio area). The drinks seemed to be a decent price as well (vodka sodas were $4). There's almost always parking on Philadelphia street, but be warned...this place is the kind of bar that makes you want to stick around and have another. The bar staff are all super nice and are quick to put a drink in your hand. Since it's such a short stumble away (and the fact that it's just awesome), I'll be back soon!

Cutest little neighborhood bar with $4 drinks and world class hotdogs. You gotta love a place where you can get tipsy on less than $20 with hotdogs and tots. Totsxarw a total turn on for me...does it get any better than salty greasy potatoes? Not for me. If only my neighborhood had a Larrys life would be perfect.

Larry's is the perfect example of the corner neighborhood bar. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. I live right down the street and it's been so convenient to be able to walk down for drink. They have a great craft beer selection. They also serve specialty hot dogs and loaded tater tots. Check out their Instagram page for occasional food specials such as BLT sandwiches and tacos.

Had to check this place out, since it was awarded Kentucky's #1 dive bar by Yelp. It's everything you want (and don't want) in a dive bar. Great neighborhood, cheap drinks, and AWESOME staff. Always a good time at Larry's!

Larry's is the best. It's our FAVE little neighborhood dive bar & I'm hesitant to tell people about it because I love the quaintness of it so much!! haha! I was recently telling some friends about it & they had NO idea it existed, which means YOU probably don't either!! They have gourmet hot dogs with unique & tasty toppings, a yummy beer selection, daily specials & the BEST tater tots!! Pre-pandemic you could play pool as well & there are two other arcade games (pac-man, i think? and a pinball machine). Speaking of pandemic - they've done an awesome job of following guidelines to make it safe for everyone. MOST IMPORTANTLY - the bartenders are super hospitable. Good service goes a long way! They recognize us when we come in (and it's not like we're in there all the time, or even weekly) & remember our drink preferences. LASTLY! They've always got a good playlist on. Look, it's all about the little things and I love that they've thought to curate background sounds that match the overall atmosphere. You should know, they only have a small TV - this isn't a sports bar. It's a place to catch up with friends & enjoy face-to-face conversation with some good grub. These wiener slingers know what's up. Bar with outdoor seating. Indoor has 1 pool table. Menu specialties are fancy dogs and tots, but don't snooze on the pulled pork and other items. This a top tier spot for me but I hang in dive bars. Check the drink specials on the chalkboard but do NOT sleep on the Flood of 37. Best bourbon cocktail for the money in the Cov.

Larry's is hands down the best new bar in Covington, and arguably, Cincinnati. A unique laid back vibe, with a great history and backstory. Amazing happy hour specials, and really great food as well. Bartenders are friendly, and also make killer drinks. Imagine drinking a custom cocktail (or draft beer) served in vintage glasses in a laidback cozy atmosphere with 20 of your closest friends. No pretentiousness here. Check it out, you won't regret it.

Went to Larry's for the first time last night and I have to say, was super impressed. They did a great job at revamping it. Perfect addition to the neighborhood. Great prices and the hot dogs were excellent. Get the loaded tots too. Super cool dive bar and had a nice crowd. Definitely hit this place up!

The perfect hangout for anytime of the day! The quaint architecture, flower boxes, and patio lures you inside! once you are in...the moody, warm and friendly atmosphere makes you not want to leave! The service, drinks, food, prices and amenities are 100% every time! We enjoyed signing our names on the wall and seeing others we knew. The owner/manager creates an environment that is welcoming and makes you feel right at home! We love this place!

Last night was my first time visiting Larry's. I couldn't have had a greater experience. The bar feels like one of those local pubs you can relax in after work or unwind with some friends for a low key night out. The bar staff could not have been friendlier or have provided better service. Cheap beers are always a nice draw. I tried a plain hot dog, which was fantastic. I'd like to go back and try other varieties. Looking forward to my next visit!

So happy this bar is in Covington! It fits in so well with the personality of the city but is also unique. The 70s dive bar vibe is fun without being campy and cliche. The drink prices are in line with what I expect around town, same with the food. Also to note, they use an air fryer to make the tater tots so no oil cross contamination for people with food allergies. The food is good - I will say the chili isn't quite there yet - maybe it's too sweet? Or not enough spices? That might be the non Cincinnatian in me Anyway, great vibe and awesome staff.

I used to be a huge fan of Senate in OTR. I started getting Take out from Larry's when Senate closed. The hot dogs at Larry's are not as intricate or themed, but they are also not as pretentious or as expensive. (Senate also didn't have carry out) I love the Hawaiian and the Frisco. My girlfriend says the chili is really good, too. The staff is always incredibly polite and helpful.

I had such a good time here on a Friday night! The bar is dive-y and home-y but clean, the bartenders are nice, and they serve hot dogs and tots! The drinks are pretty cheap so it's easy to get a buzz here and not go broke :) I really like this place and almost want to keep it a secret but I know I'll be back soon to introduce friends to it!

Going to Larry's is like taking a time machine back to the days when everybody had that favorite neighborhood corner bar... Everyone knew everyone and the beers were cold and plentiful! It wasn't about being fancy, it was more about having a good time! I'm happy they've made this the case at Larry's!
