This beautiful spot is good for trail walking and also offers fishing in the picturesque lake from several spots . Blueberry picking during mid to late summer is the highlight of this spot , there are thousands of blueberry plants to select from , and have fun time with family and friends. They also sell local produce and flowers during summer . The complete area is maintained and beautiful. Free Parking for 20-25 cars is available. The restrooms were quite clean .

Love to spend time here. Picking blueberries and just relaxing my mind. Very tasty blueberries and really good price. Also people are coming here with kids, and they both have a lot of fun.

Blueberries were great. But check out was awful. We waited 30 minutes to weigh the bucket. There were three people, but only one person was working. Two others didn't help him. Have your own big plastic bag to put in their bucket. It will save some of your time. You also want to have your own box or container to keep your berries after you.ve collect them.

⭐️ Just a heads-up for families visiting this area: We had an unfortunate experience during our visit — our kids accidentally stepped near what seemed to be a bee or wasp nest (possibly hidden underground), and were swarmed and stung multiple times. One of our kids was stung in six different places, and several others in our group (both kids and adults) were also stung. Please be extra careful, especially if you're walking through grassy or less-maintained paths. It might be a good idea to keep an eye out and avoid disturbing the ground too much in those areas. We hope the park staff can look into this for future visitors’ safety. Stay safe out there!

Unfortunately, they've employed an extremely rude young Asian boy with a terrible attitude at the front counter for months. We first encountered him Spring 2025, he took a snarky attitude after my Mom asked for the price of a bouquet and accused her of trying to haggle with him, when all she asked was the price, because they weren't all labeled and her vision is bad. He also mocked the way she spoke. He's incredibly passive-aggressive and has an adversarial attitude towards customers. I went back a few times myself, and witnessed him being nice and welcoming to people of different races, but taking the snarky attitude toward any white-looking person, including kids. This child cannot be more than 17 years old. He must be someone's son or cousin who works there, because he doesn't belong in any customer service position, especially not at a market stand. He thinks he is better than everyone else and the whole world is out to get him. The rest of the ladies there are lovely and pleasant, but for some reason they've stationed this terror to welcome customers. Drove by last week and was shocked to see he was still there. Usually a problem this big takes care of itself. I am begging you to find another job for this child. He is abusive and racist to customers, he does not belong at a farm stand. We will not be back until he is removed. The bouquets are all $35-40 also for anyone wondering. Not exactly direct-from-farm prices!

Google
Th BEST place for blueberries - never seen so many blueberries in my life. Please follow the pet rules so they stay dog friendly - it's the only farm that allows dogs. Parking is can be tough but it's worth it!

Google
The soil is black, great to grow blueberries, but bad for white dogs! It's nice to walk the dog through here. Many families come pick a bucket of blueberries and the stand has beautiful flowers to purchase also. cause your always surrounded by them🌱 Bring your own container a bag will crush them! 😁

This blueberry farm is quite lovely imo (in my opinion), there is limited parking that could probably fit only about 8-10 cars. Worst case if it is very busy i suggest to park in a neighborhood near by and walk over or the parking lot across the street (idk if u rlly can). If u have 2lb or under of blueberries u still pay it even tho u have less, u can also read the sign of the photo i have at checkout. There r restricted areas that i suggest u not to go to because the blueberries there are js pale and not at all ripe. The best blueberries i picked while i have here was “zone 3”, because they r fragrant, vanilla creamy taste. All of the zones do not say what type of blueberries they r. There r also cherries, apricots, blueberries ofc, and drinks offered at a whopping $2.50 what an amazing price rlly! Overall this blueberry farm is in a nearby area, convenient, and most importantly i think that this would be a great activity for the kiddos. cs usually the farms that r relevant and r unfortunately not nearby. I hope this google review is beneficial to those that r reading it :)

Yelp
The scenery is very nice. I once walked around here in cooler weather, and it was beautiful. I knew one day I'd be back to pick their blueberries, and that day finally came. When we arrived, the person at the register did not give any info or seem like they wanted to converse, they simply asked how many buckets we needed, and took our payment. Thankfully I had already seen online (and there was a sign posted on site) that there is a minimum fee of $5 for 2 lbs of blueberries. If you pick less, you're still paying $5. I was ok with this, but determined to pick at least 2 lbs because I like to get my money's worth in everything. So, without any info of what kind of blueberries were being offered, or where to go, or really...anything, I was happy to see a map at the entryway of the orchard. However, it showed that a lot of sections were not available to pick from. Once we started heading to the first few "open" sections, it was a little sad to see that the blueberries were on the smaller side and sparse. I was easily confused as well, because the "closed" sections were not visibly marked as closed, so it seemed that actually, anyone could pick from anywhere and no one would know. As we got further away, we found a sweet spot with a lot more blueberries. Again, they were not as big as the ones I've picked from another place, and not quite as tasty, but they were good enough! It was a great way to spend our afternoon. I thought we picked around 5 lbs, but when our bucket was weighed, it was only slightly more than 2 lbs. Whew, at least we picked the minimum! Overall, service could use improvement & they're not my favorite blueberries, but the experience was nice, and the ambiance is great- if not for blueberry picking, then at least to go for a pleasant walk. P.S. Does anyone know what the pinkish/purple flowers in the blueberry are and why they're there? I was told that they're NOT blueberry flowers!

Yelp
This is a great spot to kill a few hours in the outdoors and with the added bonus of having something to eat at the end. I went around 11 AM on a Saturday and the parking lot in front of the farm with about 20 spots was already completely full. There is a neighborhood across the intersection that you can find plenty of street parking in though, which is what we ended up going with. I went the weekend that they opened and was surprised to see that many of the areas of the field that were open for picking were already picked clean, especially near the entry and on the lower branches. For folks who have yet to go, I'd definitely wander quite a bit deeper (10 ish minutes in). I was a bit worried about flavor of the blueberries as they looked very small, but they were genuinely delicious and I definitely regret not picking more! FYI, you definitely want to pick at least 2 lbs otherwise they charge you a flat rate of 5 dollars rather than $2.50/lb. At the farm stand, there are also plenty of vegetables and fruit on sale. Everything looked amazing and I dropped $10 bucks on a bag of Rainier cherries that were SO DELICIOUS. If I was short on time, I'd swing by just for those.

Yelp
This used to be our family's go to for berry picking. Unfortunately the ownership changed and now they're only focused on making $$$. They were going to give us just one bucket for picking for a family of 5. They had hundreds of buckets stacked and were claiming they're out of buckets. The individual at check in was extremely rude and confrontational - very poor customer service. They sent us to the field with picked out and dried bushes, the good fields are saved for them, where they charge $4 for a half-pint (one cup) of berries. If you pick under 2 lbs (you can't really get two pounds from the fields they send you to) there's a flat fee of $5 plus $5 per bucket if you leave it in the fields. There's a "cash shortage", but if you use a card, it's a $5 fee, and they ask for tips. We won't be returning to this business

Yelp
Two lovely ladies and I decided to go blueberry picking, and made it to Larsen Lake Blueberry Farm at the end of July, our first time there. Pros: 1) The Pacific Northwest weather during blueberry season can't be beat. 2) The field was quite large, so we found tons of opportunity to spread out and get lost among the blueberries. 3) Price - $2.50 per pound 4) Blueberry picking is relaxing Cons/Caveats: 1) The parking lot is small, so be prepared to park off site 2) No one is available via text/phone to answer questions. We arrived about 10am, and plenty of people were already on site. Saw a sandwich board that mentioned extra parking on 8th St. We kept driving until we found 8th NE, but knew we had to be way, way off. One of us called then texted for help but no one was available. We drove back toward the farm to try again, and we saw 8th SE - aha! So, if anyone is arriving later in the morning, especially on a weekend, you may want to forget about the lot, and instead turn onto 8th SE, which is just south of the farm, and park on the street. The Farm has buckets. How many? Not sure. Wanting to avoid the risk of a shortage on a busy day, we brought our own buckets. I also thought ahead of time (I do that about once a year) and brought a garbage bag to line the pail. Upon checkout--there may be a line, but with two people checking customers out, it didn't take long--I was able to take the bag out of the bucket and hand it to the employee, who could easily weigh the fruit. Expect to pay $5 minimum in '23. We were picking for about 1.5 hours and each of us managed to grab about four pounds of B-berries.

Yelp
This is my favorite u-pick blueberry farm to go to! The blueberries are so full and ripe right now. My toddler loves coming here because after we finish blueberry picking we go on a walk around Larsen Lake and see the ducks and water. Parking is free and easy. The small lot fills up fast so I just go street park for free and cut through the pathway. It's a very Covid friendly activity with staff wearing masks and everyone is maintaining their distance. Bonus for parents - the farm is next to Kelsey Creek shopping centre which has a drive thru Starbucks to grab an iced coffee before or after blueberry picking.

Yelp
Came on the very last day of blueberry picking this season. No appointments needed any more. I brought my own container, which they tared for me at check out. The fee was $5 for entrance, which covers up to 2lbs of blueberries (at $2.50/lb). Because it was the end of the season, they had put up signs everywhere telling people that berries would be smaller and harder to find. This was true, but I was still able to pick over 1.5 pounds (even after snacking some haha). The berry rows are beautiful, and it was a nice activity to do with my baby, who loved sitting near the bushes and crawling/walking a little close to me. Not too many other people around, though the parking lot was pretty full. I have to remember to come back earlier in the season next year!
google avatar

Long K.

Yelp
Scouted this place out since least year, but it was already past blueberry season then. Finally made it around this time under required online reservations (COVID season). The check in process was easy and they assign you a field to pick from at your pace. The blueberries are fresh and abundant. Some bushes really produced huge berries, while others were still blooming, so it seems there are plenty to go around for everyone. For $2 per pound it was a nice, casual experience. Tips: Although the grounds seem dry, your shoes will get dirty. Parking lot availability is limited at times, so go early. Other limited fresh produce and flower bouquets are available to buy. Credit card accepted.

Yelp
Oh my! Still one of my favorite places to go in any season as it is just so pretty. My very first review in 2011 is still spot on, but wanted to do a new review just saying that in 10 years nothing has changed! Still absolutely beautiful and a must go spot for anyone wanting to get great blueberries when in season, or just go for a nice walk during the rest of the year. Put this on your list to go visit, you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
I was bored and wanted to do a fun activity. Larsen Lake Upick Blueberries was open and I decided to try it out. I personally don't know how the process went in previous years, this process for picking berries is definitely not a free for all. You have to sign up for a time slot through Eventbrite with a max of 5 people per ticket/slot. The slots are free. I would recommend signing up with the intention of going weeks in advance as dates coming up shortly may already be out of contention. It is definitely easier to sign up for a time on a weekday as a pro tip. I would also recommend putting said time slot in your calendar because Eventbrite didn't do its usual reminder 2 days before the event so you definitely want to make sure you don't forget it. If you are not going by car, the 226 bus is relatively close by to the farm. Once there, you join a social distanced line to check in. If possible, have your ticket ready (on your phone too) and also have everyone who is in your group ready. There were separate sides for those who are entering the farm vs those who are leaving. I received a bucket and I was given an area to focus my picking on. I don't know if that was typical practice or if it was just to limit the amount of people in a section (social distancing). In any case, it was effective in making sure I was not close to other people and I had enough blueberries that I could potentially pick. I had about an hour to pick and it was fun. The sun was hot so I would recommend bringing water to hydrate and sunscreen to protect yourself. There are bugs in the areas you are picking but not having them would be unnatural. After finishing picking (I would study in advance how to pick blueberries if you are inexperienced) you go along a path and depending on the day you are there, they also offer produce to sell along the way. When you reach the end, you get them to weigh your blueberries and pay for them & any additional produce you may have picked up. Overall, I think it would be a great group experience whether as a family outing, date or just hanging out with friends. And it is relatively inexpensive

Yelp
TLDR: Really great, fun, spontaneous experience! I believe the season goes until August, so head over ASAP! Pros: -Inexpensive, outdoorsy fun. $1.50/lb for blueberries -You get to pick what you eat! Eat a few blue berries while you pick also -No cover charge Cons: -A lot of bugs, be careful of bees here -Small parking lot Tips: -Wear closed-toe shoes (I wore flip flops, so it is doable) -Park at the shopping plaza about an 8 min walk away (since their parking lot is probably going to be filled)
google avatar

Ting A.

Yelp
Rows and rows of bushes to pick blueberries from for only $1.50 per pound! Upon checking-in at the building, they hand you a bucket (already lined with a plastic bag) for you to drop your blueberries into. We had a great time, and the berries were perfectly juicy and sweet. There's also a trail surrounding Larsen Lake with a dock for people to take in the beautiful view. Be warned that the parking lot is tiny. We made the terrible mistake of trying to get a spot afternoon before escaping to park in front of the Walmart Neighborhood Market.

Jyotsna N.

Yelp
I love going to this farm every year at least once for blueberry picking! They are organized, take cash/cards for payments and the blueberries are juicy and tasty. We went early in the morning and there was no crowd and lots of ripe berries to pick. This year they have put a minimum limit of 2lbs(you pay $5 even if you pick less than 2lbs). At 2.50/lb, it's a bargain plus fun activity with kids.

Yelp
I'm actually pretty surprised to see I haven't penned a review for this park yet... I used to go jog & walk this lake all the time during college a few years back! We decided to come here to walk a couple laps with our dogs. The parking lot isn't massive but I've never had any issues getting a spot. I think the only thing to note about this place is that there isn't any designated restrooms (at least I didn't see any) and there are no water fountains around. So, just plan for those two things if you intend on walking around for a little bit and or are bringing little ones. All the times I've been here I've only come to walk - I've never actually blueberry picked here but I think it'd probably be a ton of fun! The trails here are very well-maintained and it's part of the Lake to Lake trail. You can make your experience here pretty long if you'd like depending on how far you want to walk. There's trashcans along the way which is nice if you intend on bringing your dogs or want to picnic or anything like that. There was hardly any trash, if any, when I went which was really nice to see. The lake is fairly dirty/murky looking but it's not meant for swimming. There's actually a few spots that are pretty picturesque with the amount of lily pads that are in the lake. You can fish here and they have recycling areas for the fishing line. I'm sure we'll be back here again in the very near future - I don't have too much longer here and I'll be ready to start trying to walk this baby out, and this would be a great place to do so!

Yelp
Just magical. The tastiest sweetest blueberries and super affordable to pick 10 pounds worth if you'd like. I wish I could come here every single day, or ok, once a month at least. A perfect family friendly day!
google avatar

Mifa S.

Yelp
This place was easy access and easy check in/out and that made my life easy! I took my 4 year old and 18 months old and was hesitant to do it at first. Can I do this all by myself? I'm glad I did. We went there on Friday and there were a couple of parking spot open on the premises. There was no line at check in when we got there. Huge field of blueberry bushes and plenty of blueberry for them to pick at their height. They got tired so it only lasted 30 minutes but it was all worth it. There were about 4 picnic tables there and we sat for quick lunch. There was a huge bathroom where I was easily able to bring the stroller in. There were fresh vegetables and fruits stand. It has a narrow pathway but people were courteous and trying to keep social distance. This is a clean and well organized place and I would love to return next year.
google avatar

Greg B.

Yelp
I'm shocked at this business. They had a tiny parking lot which could accommodate probably 15 cars and they have signs directing people to overflow park on the street of the nearby neighborhood. I will never support a business which prompts their customers to curbside park and completely overrun residential communities. The owners of this business should be embarrassed. Anyone interested in berry picking can choose between several more ethical options in Carnation.

Yelp
What a beautiful weekend to pick some blueberries! We went to the minority-owned Larsen Lake Farm in Bellevue and had so much fun. It was beautiful there, especially with the lake and water lilies. During the pandemic, I like that you pre-reserve a time slot, and they assign you to specific pods upon arrival so you can safely distance from other families. The advance planning is worth it! Self-picked blueberries are only $2/lb, and they also sell pre-picked fresh and frozen blueberries along with other fresh produce and flowers at checkout. We picked over 2 lbs of blueberries, so I made the Smitten Kitchen's Blackberry-Blueberry (Black & Blue) Crumb Pie which is absolutely heavenly. We saved the rest to go with chia puddies and salads for the rest of the week. I call that a successful trip to the blueberry farm!
google avatar

Lisa D.

Yelp
Apparently we came at the end of the season. There were lots of blueberries to pick but most were small. I assume it was much better a few weeks ago. This is the last weekend this summer! I think they will close after 8/22. $2/lb is a great price.
google avatar

Janet N.

Yelp
Blueberry picking has always been something I've wanted to try and I finally went amid the pandemic. I've had Larsen Lake bookmarked for years, but never had the time to go or was too lazy lol. Larsen Lake is located in Bellevue, just a few minutes away from i90 and a short drive away from Seattle. It's kind of unbelievable to me that there's a blueberry farm so close to the city. Due to covid, reservations are now required. I recommend booking a reservation as soon as possible as they can get booked out at least two weeks in advance and with it being the middle of the season, reservations are selling out like hot cakes. With each reservation, only five people can attend. Buckets are provided and lined with plastic bags with two buckets being allowed for each party. After you check in, you get assigned to a section and you get to pick from there. There are an abundance of blueberry bushes with many in the middle of blooming and many ready to be picked. This is a labor intensive activity, so be prepared to put in work! It took my bf and I a little over an hour to pick four pounds of blueberries. I recommend wearing shoes you don't mind getting dirty in. I made the mistake of wearing my white converses and they were so muddy and wet by the time I was done. The blueberries were $2/lb which was a steal in my opinion. As others have mentioned the parking lot here is small, but I was lucky enough to snag the last spot. Larsen did send us an email a couple hours before our reservation providing directions on where to park if there were no spots, so that was greatly appreciated. This is a great place to bring your family or friends for a fun activity, especially during covid!

Yelp
I came to this farm without knowing much about it. It turns out the land and blueberry bushes are owned by Bellevue City, and they just contracted a business to run it. Let me tell you why you should skip blueberry picking in this place. First, upon arriving, the farm/park has a very small parking lot, and there was no one, no sign to direct traffic. Cars kept coming in while the lot was full, resulting nobody could get in or out. A cluster F****! Second, they make you check in here. You HAVE to give them your driver's license, or no blueberry picking for you. In this day and age, I don't know about you, but I was really uncomfortable handing my license. I do not trust strangers not to deal my personal info. All it takes is one bad employee. Third, although the farm is huge. The blueberries are small here. I do not think they get the care and fertilizer comparing the private farms. They charge around 1.55 for a pound of blueberry. A little cheaper than private farms, but they are small. I much rather support small farms who really cares about their berries instead of giving money to Bellevue city. Please see my other reviews for a great blueberry farm in Snohomish. And no one but them dare to take away your drivers license away while you try to support their business.

Yelp
Wow! What an awesome blueberry farm! It's clean and berries were every where. We went to pick them on July 6th and the place was packed! The staff were very nice. They will provide you a pail to pick as much as you can then pay when you finish picking. They also have already picked vegetables for sale. Somewhat expensive vegetables but no doubt extremely fresh. Parking lot was small and full so we parked at the shopping plaza down the road. It was a nice walk with fragranced roses blooming along the way.
google avatar

Nikki Ning Z.

Yelp
Kids were so excited coming here after reading the reviews. Their website clearly said the farm closes at 6 on Saturdays. Got to the farm at 3:25, the sign in the parking lot saying closing at 4 today. We were glad that we got here early enough until we went to the stands, they told us that self picking blueberry closed at 3 already today. Kids were disappointed:( please be more Business like if you ran the farm as a business. Be aware before coming, they may change the schedule anytime.

Yelp
This farm was a great option for getting out there to pick some blueberries but also not being TOO far. Right off of 148th, it was super easy to get to and find. The only problem is parking. It is a hot mess when busy. We ended up waiting for 10 minutes just to give up and find some nearby neighborhood parking. Once we trekked back, the line to get into the farm was super long. We waited about another 20 minutes to get a bucket and wristbands to be on our merry way to pick. You'll need to leave an ID in exchange for a bucket so make sure you have yours! Once you get through those two hurdles, you're all set and ready to have fun picking.
google avatar

Madelyn R.

Yelp
Absolutely loved the blueberry farm! There's a lot more fields or rows of blueberry bushes than you would think driving by! It's super family friendly and great for all sorts of groups that may stop by. It was a great casual date idea, I would definitely do it again. Happy blueberry picking!
google avatar

Renny K.

Yelp
What a fun experience! This is such a great place for a date and just time to spend with friends and families. Of course work is involved, but man, these blueberries are not only fresh, but also they're way cheaper than trader joes. Parking is a hassle, we parked in the neighborhood nearby because their parking lot is quite small and easily filled up. We went directly to the back because there weren't alot of people and those with kids tend to stay towards the front. Lots of blueberries and very sweet.
google avatar

Darlene B.

Yelp
This place is a gem! You drive by it on the fairly busy road of 148th and it's so pleasant to see. I love the greenery, the little pond/lake, and just the openness of this area. I've gone here all seasons, and it's just the perfect place to walk around and enjoy the outdoors without having to drive out or trek too far. During the summer, I like to come here and bring a book, sit on one of the benches and read. Also, blueberry picking seems fun during the summer - mid July through late August!
google avatar

Thuha N.

Yelp
It was our first time blueberry picking and we can't wait to do it again next time we're in town!!! To check in, you'll need a driver license (since we walk there, one of the 11 of us had our, just sayin'). The staff would then give you a bucket and note the area(s) you should pick... The berries are sweet and fresh, we ate our way through and ended up with a couple of pounds to bring home. $1.50/lb is an absolute steal!!! They also have a decent selection of fruits and veggies for purchase. We came at the very end of the day, so most of the fruits and veggies are old since they had sat out in the sun for a while.
google avatar

Katie S.

Yelp
Finally got around to marking blueberry picking off my Seattle to-do list, and I'm so glad it was at Larsen Lake. The staff was very nice, and the space was very accommodating to support COVID social distancing measures. Upon check in, the staff provided a bucket to my group and assigned us a zone to ensure we maintained social distancing. The provided directions to the picking zone was seamless, as there is plentiful signage at the farm. You can then pick blueberries at your own pace, and pick as many as you want! At $2/lb, it was a great, inexpensive activity and I am already looking forward to venturing back.

Yelp
I can't even tell you how many hundreds of times I've probably driven right past this oasis on the the outskirts of big city Bellevue! What a gem! Lake Larsen Blueberry Farm is just off of the main road with acres and acres of luscious blueberry bushes! It's one of the few homesteads from the early European settlers in the area that has been preserved and kept open for the public. Educational signs and historical buildings near the front tell the story a bit so you can get to know the Larsen family who's farm you're about to frolick on. No entrance fee- Pick up a city of Bellevue approved bucket at the start and get going! They do charge for the picked berries by weight as you exit. The going rate this Summer is a $1 per pound of blueberries. I'm either the slowest picker ever or it's a lot more work than you think- but it took me almost an hour to pick a pound of blueberries! Ha! I did do a fair share of wandering though - the farm is lovely and those quick teaser glimpses of Lake Larsen through the reeds are frustratingly beautiful! Lots of flowers and other plants to look at and appreciate as you meander through the blueberry fields. Bees, butterflies and birds are incredibly abundant on the farm as well. What would make this a five star place? Better marked trails and signage. I wanted so badly to walk to the Lake- but by the time I found even a slight entrance to the lake shore- it was almost closing time and we had to go. From what I can tell - the Lake is pretty well guarded enshrouded in natural vegetation in the center/back of the farm. Would be nice if there was a well marked path to some benches or a little picnic area on the Lake! Or if there is such a spot- it seems to be well hidden from the casual explorer. Also this place is cash only. A fact that escaped me when I walked by the clearly posted hand written signs saying cash only. They were patient with those of us out of the loop though and held my bucket of berries on the picnic table upfront whilst I dug in my car for enough change. Also their parking lot is teeny tiny! (Considering how many people were there that day visiting the farm as I was.) You can park on the road as well but it's a busy street and not for the timid. All and all- these complaint points are pretty mild. The Lake Larsen Blueberry Farm more than makes up for all that in its beauty and charm! I hope to return again very soon if only to find a quiet spot to lay between the rows of Blueberry bushes and daydream looking up through the berried branches at the clouds drifting by. This place is beautiful!

Yelp
Great way to start a Saturday morning! My friend and I came and picked blueberries for about an hour and we managed to pick a pound each. It was very therapeutic. The parking lot is very small, so we parked around the starbucks down the street and walked over.

Yelp
This is a lovely little urban blueberry far that we seem to walk through only during off season! Its hard to believe that this space is in a busy-ish part of bellevue. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful spot for a walk. Wide paths, little benches for taking a break. Some trees - and nearby lakes. Lots of walkers around. We did see one dog off leash. I'm pretty sure this is against the rules but the dog seemed relatively well-behaved. This is part of the Lake to Lake trail - we would happily visit again :)

Yelp
Went blueberry picking on August 27 so towards the end of blueberry season. We were a little discouraged because most of the berries left were small. It took some time to find medium sized ones but wow, they are so sweet! I've never had sweet blueberries before (either tart or tasteless, big, and juicy ones). So don't get discouraged if they look too small. This is a cash only place but the berries are so cheap you don't need much to carry with you ($1/pound). They also sell other fruits and veggies in the shed at cheap prices (less than $2/pound), and the peaches and nectarine that I got were incredibly sweet! This is family run business so it's very nice to buy from them. I highly recommend this as a relaxing activity.

Yelp
Went picking today, August fourth, and there are still lots of berries left for those wondering how the season is going.. In fact, the picking was more plentiful than any other year during which I've gone in late July! They do seem to have new management and based on a few reviews I've read, I'd like to set things straight. They do in fact ask for ID now in order to pick. They DON'T however take it from you as a form of collateral like others have mentioned. They only check your name and write it down on the clipboard as well as how many are in your party. They then give you a bracelet to wear while picking. I asked the lady about the reason for the new system and she said they have "park rangers" patrolling to make sure only those with bracelets are picking (of watch I saw none). This is nonsense because it's a city park. Plus they could still easily have theft with this system. However, the extra hassle was minimal so nbd. These are non sprayed berries and closer to where I live than the other blueb farms, a good price at 1.50 per pound, so all is well. (Yes, parking is awful. Just take a right on 8th and park in the neighborhood would be my best advice. )

Yelp
Went blueberry picking with a group of friends on July 22. We arrived around 11:30 am and were not surprised that the small parking lot was already full. Not a problem though, we drove a little further down the road and parked in the same plaza as the Walmart Neighborhood Market. It took us just about a 5 minutes to get to the farm. Once we arrived at the farm, we signed in on their check-in list and were provided with as many buckets (lined with plastic bags) as we needed. Then we were off and free to roam the farm. It took us about an hour to pick a pound of blueberries. Most of them were still a bit tart, so I think if you were to go in early August you would be able to harvest sweeter blueberries. When we were ready to check out, we took our buckets to the front of the farm to weigh our bags. It's a cash only place and $1.50 per pound. We spent under $5 today and had a great time picking. The farm itself is beautiful and very picturesque. Although very clean, i would definitely bring a pair of closed-toe shoes because there are random piles of wet dirt across the farm. I would also bring a bottles of water because there were no water fountains nearby and very little shade on a hot day. Worth it? Yes, for sure. I would bring my family and friends here again in early August to get sweeter blueberries!

Yelp
This is a cute place to go blueberry picking in Bellevue - you don't have to drive far to a farm to do this wholesome activity! The farm is owned and managed by the parks department of the City of Bellevue. There is a parking lot, but it's often pretty full on the weekends when everybody wants to go. Head over to the check in area so that they can get you a bucket lined with a plastic bag. Then you head over to the blueberry trees and pick to your heart's content! It takes awhile to pick a lot of blueberries. Definitely bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and water - the whole area is exposed to the sun, so on a clear day, it'll get hot. Also be careful where you step - there were some holes that I almost tripped on. I forget how much the blueberries cost per pound, but it wasn't very much. In addition to blueberries, the time I went for the U-pick, they also had other fruits and vegetables for sale. They had rainier cherries when I got there, but by the time I finished picking to pay for my blueberries, those were gone, so I just bought some sweet cherries instead (which were really good!). This place is cash or check only - no credit cards!

Yelp
Went stopped in today while waiting on an appointment, after going to the front, they handed us a bucket and said it would be 1.50 per pound and told us to have fun. It was pretty neat, we got to wander around the rows and rows of blueberries. Some of the rows are a little overgrown for walking through, but for the most part it wasn't too bad. Also, there we a few spots that the ground was soft. Honestly, blueberry picking isn't my thing. Growing up in the county, it just seems like a chore and I was never too excited for gardening. With that said, my wife really enjoyed it and when we went up front to pay they said it would be a dollar. Yeah, one dollar. We were only there for about 30-45 minutes, but you can't beat the price. We also bought some apricots, and raineir cherries from them. I don't think you can beat their fruit prices at any store and because of the entrainment my wife got I'll give them 4 stars.

Yelp
Had an awesome Saturday afternoon picking blueberries. The farm was not packed at all and felt like we had our own area of the farm to pick blueberries. There were TONS of blueberries to pick from. Staff checked us in and there was hand sanitizer at the front, plexiglass between myself and staff members. They provided us with buckets lined with plastic, however, they welcome you to bring your own buckets if you like and will tare it for you before you go off blueberry picking. The price was $2/lb and they also have blueberries pre-picked for you (for a bit more $/lb) if you like as well. They are currently only letting those with reservations on the farm and they have a list of those currently on the property to manage traffic flow and practice safe social distancing!! Also, there are fresh produce you can pick from too provided by Cha New Life Garden (refer to their page for separate post and pics).

Yelp
Can't beat the price on u-pick blueberries! Our 1 1/2 year old had the best time! Be sure to wear comfortable shoes & a hat!

Yelp
This is really amazing. First of all, it is in the middle of Bellevue. Secondly, it is a beautiful place just to go for a walk around the lake. There are a LOT of blueberry bushes here. So many, I lost my family for about 20 minutes. We were very impressed. At $1.50, the prices can't be beat either. This is by far the cheapest we have found. We also liked that we could buy other produce as well. We will definitely be back next year for more blueberry picking.

Yelp
We parked near the park entrance because we were turned away from the parking lot because it was full. We parked in the area where the staff person said the best berries were. We walked through the park and picked our way up to the front to pay for them when a staff member started "following" us and said we needed to check in. We said "sure, okay" and then suddenly felt like we were doing something wrong. We walked up to the front paid 5 DOLLARS for our berries and left. There is something to the saying "you never forget the way people make you feel" We won't be returning for sure and by the way the berries were mushy and mealy. I would take your business to a friendlier place for sure!

Yelp
Dreamy experience! Did not go there to pick up blueberries (I think the season is over, although I am not sure, this was my first time at a blueberry farm). I just wanted to feel the fresh air of Autum in the 'countryside' of Bellevue, as I am in the area only for a few days. Lovely free activity to do. Very nice walking around the lake, observing the red, ochres and greens of the trees and these blueberry plants growing. Nice thing to do both for kids or adults (very meditative if you go by yourself, a cool contemplative activity). I look forward to come back again and be able to pick my own blueberries (as I really love them!).

Yelp
Being the first time I experienced a U-pick this summer, I'd say my party and I had a great time at the blueberry farm! Parking is limited, but seems readily available, and you are prompted to the register where you are quickly greeted and instructed on how it all works. Close at hand the blueberry picking, there were a good amount of local produce available for purchase at a reasonable price, and bathrooms were well kept & clean. Considering it was heading towards the end of blueberry season, we were still able to enjoy the experience and were able to find some really plump blueberries (alongside a handful of tart ones). Overall, it was a very straightforward, yet fun activity I was glad I was able to squeeze into the last few weeks of summer.

Yelp
Great experience blueberry picking over the week-end such a short drive away from Seattle! No crowds, $1.50/pound, plenty of delicious and ripe blueberries, easy parking. Great city escape for farm cravings without the planning!

Yelp
Blueberries are easily my favorite berries. Tart, sweet, easy to eat, easy to wash, good for baking. What's not to love! What I don't love is how pricey they can be. Even when they are in season. I probably only say this because every time I go to Larsen Lake I pick out 5 lbs of blueberries for half the price I can buy it for at the grocery store. When you get there you just ask for a bucket. Then, you head out to the field to start your berry picking! I usually ask the folks working there where the best area to start is. Once you're out on the field you are free to pick with all the time in the world! Or until they close. You just pay for whatever you picked by the pound. It's generally a pretty popular site and it's easy to find. Also, I've never had problem finding parking there either so that is a winner in my book. Suggestions: Wear comfy shoes. You will be trekking in grass and on dirt. Once you have paid, rinse them there and take it home to the fridge immediately! Or take them home to wash before putting them in the fridge. They're probably pretty dirty from the dirt and insects. In fact, I had a couple spiders in my bunch last time. It does take some work, but I think it is a fun experience and a worthwhile one at that!!

Yelp
Great u-pick blueberry farm! My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to pick berries and were pleasantly surprised to find this spot only 20 minutes from our Seattle neighborhood. You'd never expect an awesome spot like this in the middle of Bellevue. The grounds are gorgeous -- Larsen Lake is pretty and there's plenty of room to explore in relative solitude. We went on a Sunday afternoon and while it was busy, it did not feel crowded at all. There was plenty of parking and we were able to walk right up and get our blueberry buckets. There were LOTS of berries! We picked three pounds and could have picked many more. At $1.50 / pound, it was a great deal for some delicious fruit & laid back fun. We also picked up some local produce while we were there (cantaloupe, green beans, apples, and fresh flowers). Total cost? About twenty bucks. Well worth it. P.S. Cash or check only! And next time we'll bring a picnic to enjoy near the lake.

Yelp
The Larsen Lake Blueberry Farm proved to be way more fun than I anticipated with an infant!! My LO loved watching the blueberries fly into the bucket -- tons of giggles! This year, we made it over to the farm for the first day of the picking season and the staff was able to direct us to where we would be most likely to find some good blueberries. It really looked like "slim pickin's" at the start, but once we got to the spot they recommended there were lots of ripe, sweet, delicious berries to pick! We didn't even pick the bushes clean and we had lots of berries to take home! Added bonus, it's really inexpensive compared to the little bins you can buy at the store -- totally worth it! Walking around the lake and along the paths is very pleasant too. It's a bit noisy by the street, but by the time you're near the water it's really nice and more secluded. I'm sure that young children would get a kick out of picking ripe berries too -- I'd even recommend this as a good daytime date for outdoorsy types!

Yelp
This is such a great place to come pick blueberries, just to walk around the lake or even have a picnic. During blueberry season I brought my 1 year old almost every week pick blueberries. She had so much fun. In the off season we would walk around the lake and have picnics. It's very beautiful. If you don't want to pick yourself then they sell fruit already picked at a great price.

Yelp
Great place for blueberry picking around Bellevue with tons of blueberry. The parking is quite limit though. My boyfriend and I went there around end of June. There are tons of blueberries that are ready to be picked.
