"Since opening in December 2008, L’Artusi has become a West Village fixture. I watched everything come to a halt when the pandemic shut down restaurants in March, and the team quickly pivoted—jumping into delivery and takeout lunch service a few months before indoor dining was banned and then expanding into a more robust takeout and meal-kit menu throughout the pandemic. The pizza is baked in a traditional wood-fired oven, which gives it an amazing flavor and perfect texture. A little bit waiting time, but it's ok.

Nothing special about this place...The pizza was ok, the grilled branzino was ok, although it was supposedly served with a vegetable risotto, that was not a risotto, just rice ....And last but not least, the "cafe gourmand" was extremely disappointing; the tiramisu you can buy at the local supermarket is way better...!!! I'm sorry to leave such a negative feedback.

What a fantastic place. The food was amazing, and I’m a very picky eater. The waitress ( I’m sorry I can’t remember her name) was wonderful. I asked what she would get and she happily told me her favorites. And she did not steer me wrong, it was all great. At the end she brought us a limoncello, it was sooo good! We will definitely be repeat customers💕
