Where To Eat Outside In Palm Springs

"Before the pandemic, Las Casuelas was unquestionably the place to be for dinner if you were in town with a big group. Obviously, things have changed a bit, but the popular Mexican restaurant in downtown has reopened for socially distant outdoor dining on one of their many patios. Just be sure to take it slow with their margaritas - they’ll catch up to you in a hurry. Call (760) 325-2794 for reservations." - brant cox

"A Palm Springs classic, Las Casuelas has been serving live music and killer margaritas (the blood orange with Casamigos is our favorite) since the ’70s. And it’s the perfect spot to hit before a night on the town, thanks to the central location. Foodwise, we love the crunchy taquitos, tortilla soup, and the achiote chicken lettuce wraps (for health-conscious LA weekenders). Whatever you do, don’t leave without trying the house-made guacamole."

"If you’re going out for Mexican food, go to Las Casuelas Terraza. It’s a fun atmosphere. Just get tacos and margaritas, it’s not complicated."

Amazing, food is so good. Nachos the best I have ever had, highly recommend. Sitting next to the warm fireplace, so comfortable and relaxing. Large portions, can take some home to enjoy. The ambience of high ceilings and artwork very entertaining to look at. Thank You Team Las Casuelas Terraza :)

It was a stunning day to sit outside having lunch we ordered fajitas and the basic combo plate. Prices were fairly reasonable for this Day and age. The waitress was less than attentive had to ask for a refill and then again for water. I figured maybe they were just conserving g it or something? ONE never knows right? So the plates arrived piping hot, the food was beautiful and presented rather nicely. There was plenty of food for leftovers the next day. My disappointment began with the waitress getting attitude when I told her I had been given a ground beef taco instead of shredded. She brought a new shresdded beef taco but when i put some of their wonderful salsa on it i noticed it hadnt chamged it still had some kind of fibrous meat. It xoulfmt be real meat so i thought maybe vegetarian? No i was corrected its supposed to be some kind of beef? Petri dish or lab grown im not sure. Ive been around a long time and ive cooked a lot of mexican food, my fave! So she retreated inside im not sure what happened to her , other staff said she wasn't on any break. We couldn't get one last refill she was talking kicked back with the cook? The meal looked fabulous melted cheese all around looked so yummy. But these tacos ill never order again, the cheese enchilada left much to be desired as good as it looked the thick tortilla was hardly cooked and it was hard, and tough to eat too. The Chile relleno is what I had hoped would save the meal. But it sadly didn't do the trick I couldn't find the chile inside of it? Wth? Guacamole we ordered the chunky style, it was fresh and it was real avocado. I could tell that much lol It was great along with their salsa maybe the best around but we waited so long for the waitress but it was too late for them by the time we found her inside chatting. Nevertheless the food has great potential, but just like our govt needed a new president to get things right, this Casuelas in downtown Palm Springs, could use a new more mindful cook. Just a few tweaks and our $70.00 lunch no drinks would have been amazing. I guess anymore they expect us to eat just any old thing. I'm really sorry to say that! I really had my hopes up for finding some if not the best authentic and real meat, Mexican food in this Coachella valley. I'll stay home and make a sandwich next at-home. Save my money, hopes, and disappointments for some other time..

Came across Las Casuelas while walking around on a Thursday evening at the Village Fest with friends. Ordered a spicy skinny margarita and a two item combination plate (chile relleno and chicken enchilada). Everything was fabulous including the rice and beans that come with the meal! Service was great and would highly recommend!

We had the Su Seleciones with the combination of 2 dishes for 20 USD and the portion was huge! Too big for 1 person to finish. I recommend to take 1 plate with 3 different dishes for 2 people to finish. Tortilla chips were free and unlimited with salsa which was nice. Our service guy (Hugo) made sure we always had tortilla chips with salsa and water. Perfect service from him. The restaurant is huge. Many seating areas. At first we were seated next to the service station where they refill water and clean the dishes. This was outside but not quiet and relaxing. Then we were seated outside in the area where the band played. It was nicer but too loud if you want to relax.

The place has good vibes, good people watching. Portions are big,my wife and I usually split it. Fun to come on Thursday night, enjoy a little food and drink, then go walk the market night.

Went here on a Thursday night and was seated within 15 minutes. The food was good, the seating was perfect for watching the passersby from the weekly village fest. I'd recommend this place.

The food was good and the live band was good. The interior design of the restaurant was also cool. It was kind of expensive but that’s to be expected with the location. I ate so many of the free tortilla chips

TL:DR - don't waste your time, money, or appetite here We arrived Sunday evening around 6:30 and told it would be about a 20-25minute wait and were seated right around 7 so the wait wasn't bad. Francisco was our waiter and he's seriously one of the best waiters any restaurant or customer could ask for! So friendly, lively, and attentive The food however was pretty sad. We ordered the combination plate combo choosing three items - chile colorado burrito, chicken enchilada, and a chile relleno. The plate looked like someone just threw everything on it without paying attention, you couldn't tell what was what apart from the burrito. The burrito was pretty gross, meat was chewy and bland, the tortilla was dry. The chicken in the enchilada was dry and bland. The chile relleno was falling apart. The carnitas plate wasn't much better. You get a huge portion but the "twice slow cooked" carnitas are dry, bland, and tough. The guacamole didn't taste fresh, and what's with that little teaspoon of congealed cheese on the beans? On both plates the rice and beans were so dry like they had been left outside under the Palm Springs sun all day. One and done

Yelp
I had an amazing experience at this stunning Mexican restaurant set in a historic-looking building that adds so much charm to the dining experience. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and perfect for a night out in Palm Springs. The food was outstanding--homemade Mexican dishes bursting with authentic flavors. The mole enchiladas were a true standout, rich and complex with just the right balance of sweetness and spice. The margaritas and cocktails were just as impressive, especially the mezcal cacao old fashioned, which was strong, smooth, and deliciously smoky. The only disappointment was the deep-fried ice cream. While I was looking forward to a sweet ending, it tasted like it had been pre-battered for too long, giving the outer layer a stale, corn-flake-like texture. Definitely not on par with the rest of the meal. Despite that, this place is a gem, and I'd absolutely return for the incredible entrees, drinks, ambiance, and attentive service. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We chose to eat at Las Casuelas terraza because it was so cute and located so perfectly. The server arrived promptly and delivered chips and salsa and water. Shortly thereafter, he returned for drink orders and we ordered two diet cokes. The prices were not posted and these were $5.95 each. There were free refills, but still, that is a very aggressive price. We ordered food. Hubs had nachos with shredded beef. I had a chicken quesadilla. Hubs was happy with his food. Said nachos were super loaded and tasted good. My chicken quesadilla tasted like it was filled with canned chicken from Costco. It really wasn't good. The ranchero sauce also tasted straight from a container. This quesadilla was large, but I didn't finish it because it was so disappointing. Also, no fresh salsa, just bland ranchero sauce. We enjoyed the ambiance. It is a VERY cute spot. I would recommend coming for drinks and people watching.

Yelp
We ordered delivery from Las Casuelas Terraza via Uber Eats during a girls' weekend in Palm Springs and it was just okay for me. I got a chicken quesadilla and the other girls got the nachos. The delivery was quick and packaged well. The quesadilla was large, but really soggy and wet. I realize that delivery can obviously affect how food is presented so that was a bit of a bummer but understandable. I really don't know why it was so wet but it was decently tasty. The chicken was a little bit tough in spots, but overall it was okay. I did enjoy the leftovers the next day more. The other girls said the nachos were really good, and the portion was big. I probably wouldn't order delivery again but I might stop by to dine in if I'm back in PS.

Yelp
My friend took me here and swore it was the best place to eat in Palm Springs. After trying it, I think I believe her. The actual design of the restaurant was stunning. It resembled a traditional Mexican house with multiple grand bars both inside and outside. I ordered a large Frozen Mango Margarita with Shrimp Tacos. I ordered the shrimp sautéed. Our food was so good we came back two nights in a row. They also had live music which made the area really lively with people dancing. Love this place and can't wait to come back!

Yelp
During the holidays, we stopped by Las Casuelas Terraza during a family outing in downtown Palm Springs, and it was a fantastic experience! We chose the outdoor seating to enjoy the live music which created a lively atmosphere. We ordered specialty drinks and the "Nachos Rancheros" and it was delicious. Our waitress was professional, pleasant, and provided excellent service, making our visit even more enjoyable. It was a fun and memorable afternoon--I highly recommend this spot for good food, great drinks, and a vibrant vibe!

Yelp
tip for newbies: put your name in then walk the street fair. Kirby was our server and was attentive. love the live music! got the marg and it was tasty. coming here for years and it doesn't disappoint.

Yelp
We love visiting this restaurant. The food is always on point and the staff is super friendly. Our host Malachi was super nice and made us feel really welcomed. Our server Allan and Hugo also went above and beyond being super attentive and helpful, which made our visit even better. The food was on point. We had the pomegranate guacamole. I had the two item combo with cheese enchilada and chile relleno, my wife had the nachos and my daughter had the tamale special and my son had the chicken quesadilla. Everybody's food was on point and the staff made the experience memorable. I can recommend this restaurant not just for the food and the staff but also for the ambiance.

Yelp
The food was amazing. The drinks were awesome. The service was impeccable. JC was so patient and talked through the menu with us. Beto checked on us a lot and took really good care of us. It gives off a real family vibe. 10/10 would recommend.

Yelp
My favorite Mexican restaurant in Palm springs!! Live music and the food and people are great! I love eating here!! So happy they were open on this Monday night!

Yelp
Loved the food, atmosphere and customer service! Great band last night. It was a really fun date place.

Yelp
Go for the music and vibes not the food or service. Live music is fun. Service is very slow when busy. No customizations. is very good but burritos are standard. Living on the fame of the Las Casuelas name.
google avatar

Yelp
We've been going to this restaurant for years. We sat at the bar. They had great live music. Bartenders were friendly and attentive. The tamarind margarita was great. We split the steak fajitas, they were very flavorful.

Yelp
Pretty cool restaurant, servers were really nice and on top of their game. We went on Sunday night on memorial day weekend, we got their late and our server managed to get our order in before kitchen closed. Live entertainment also was included with a live brand and they were pretty cool. Food was really good, meat was just and tender and filled with flavor. Complementary chips and salsa wasn't the best but they were okay. Only wished this place would have stayed opened longer, was packed when we got there, and check was dropped off right when we were done eating and we didnt have the chance to order another round of drinks. Overall its a good place and recommended.

Yelp
A group of four visited Las Casuelas on a Thursday evening and were able to get seated within five minutes. The hostess and servers were friendly and provided great customer service. My table ordered a variety of margaritas (mango, spicy, raspberry, and lime), which were all very good. I ordered the enchiladas suizas with shredded chicken and it was delicious. Other meals ordered were also delicious. They give you large portions for a great price. They also have vegan options available on the menu, which was a plus. Overall, definitely will visit again when in Palm Springs.

Yelp
I love this place. Always have and always will. As an avid helper- don't listen to the other reviews. Las Casuelas has fantastic ambiance, above average service and food and decent prices. I've been coming here for over 15 years and have had a great experience each time. Their cocktails are great and you can't go wrong with any of their tacos, ceviche or tamales. I'll be a life long patron of this establishment and I recommend coming by if you're in town.

Yelp
Las Casuelas is located in downtown Palm Springs and is a popular place amongst the locals and tourists because of their lively patio and live music . We always sit on the patio and love the ambiance of the casita-like architecture and decor . We always start by ordering one of their award winning margaritas! The Aguachile was so flavorful and delicious with the guacamole ! We also ordered the steak and shrimp and the shrimp was delicious ! For dessert we went with fried ice cream and it really hit the spot . The manager Beto was great as well as our waiter. They were both kind and always smiling! We have been coming here for years and will continue to do so !

Yelp
Cutest restaurant, authentic, outdoor dining, tiki hut bar, open airy space. The service was friendly and attentive! My party of 4 really enjoyed our meal and drinks. A couple of us got the 2 item combo, the enchilada and crispy taco was so delicious, the rice beans and sauce was made to perfection. Chips and salsa to start was so good, we ordered a chunky guacamole side, so fresh and tasty. Our drinks were the perfect addition to great food, we got margaritas and piña colada. Highly recommend visiting!! Bring your appetite and your friends

Yelp
Boring meal and significantly overpriced. 12.95 for a carne asada taco? Get real. 90 bucks for two mediocre meals w a cocktail each. Never again.

Yelp
Highlights: - taco crunch is on point! - chocolate old fashion was a tasty spin on the drink. - cerviche was very fresh and the perfect size to share. Staff was very friendly and conversational, professional and always made sure we had what we need. Steak on the fajitas a little tough but with seasoning still tasted really good. Best taco crunch ever on the chicken tacos. Delicious. We sat on the outside patio because it felt too hot inside. Would come again.

Yelp
Went with friends. Went early on New Year's Eve around 6pm. We had no reservations. We are greeted very nicely. White was not more than two minutes and seated in a nice area. We were able to talk not a lot of noise around us. I had not been to this restaurant in a long time. Last time I went to Service wasn't that good and the food wasn't as fresh. This time the food was amazing. The service was very good. I had the fajitas and they were really good seasoning was incredible . I had gone to the blue coyote the night before and this Las casuelas was just as good. Glad to see they have returned back to their old self from many years ago as being a good restaurant to go to in Palm Springs.

Yelp
Amazing food, very attentive service, and yummy margaritas. We were strolling in Palm Springs when we came across this gem. Looked at the reviews afterwards and was surprised to see 3 stars only. We ordered the chicken and steak fajitas to share and guac as an appetizer. The small guac was big enough for 2 of us and our kid. Would definitely return!

Yelp
Ate here for new years. Food was fire. Ambiance was great they had a live band playing mostly 80s 90s hits. Service was decent. They were slammed so he was stretched thin but made sure to get to use frequently. Fajitas were 4/5. A little oily but I think it was due to the bowl it was served in. Drinks were great. Make a reservation if it's a big night.
google avatar

Yelp
The top shelf Cadillac margaritas are something to write home about. So good! The bartenders were great . The servers were great and the band and atmosphere in the place was genuine. Would for sure come back!

Yelp
Food, service and presentation were excellent. Sat outside on the patio and has a very authentic vibe. Try the "Ranchero beans" they were great.

Yelp
Daniel Salas, Israel, and Ruben were absolutely amazing!! They made our trip fantastic!

Yelp
We have been coming to Las Consuelas since 2008. We've always loved this location and the original location.. it's such a pretty restaurant. Our food was good but have to say it was a bit overpriced. Over $20 for enchiladas suiza.plate. We sat in the back portion of the restaurant and it had a very weird musty smell. If anyone knows the area, they know that the back parking lot of this restaurant near the parking garage has a pretty bad sewer smell. I think that smell is coming into the restaurant. The waiter was amazing. I wish I could remember his name, but he was so helpful and was extremely attentive. I will still come back to Las Consuela every time I'm in Palm Springs.

Yelp
This place is Amazing!! Customer service is Impeccable! Got our food within minutes. Beautiful outdoor seating! I will definitely come back!!

Yelp
We came here to have the Chicken Mole to find out that they discontinued that dish! How disappointing this is! The service was average! Our server was wearing a mask and we couldn't understand him! However my wife speaks Spanish so it was ok. Our plates came quickly and hot! Mine was the enchiladas and they were good with the fluffy rice and creamy beans! My wife said here Rellano was wonderful and the tamale was filled with a lot of meat but the masa wasn't that great! Well it's been 20 years since the last meal here and yes taste has changed!
google avatar

Anastasia L.

Yelp
Cannot recommend enough. We were amazed with the food. We had the chicken and carne asada burritos. The meat was extremely flavorful. The salsa was outstanding. Found this place by accident on Uber Eats and now have it saved. Will definitely order again when we are are in town.

Yelp
In town for a night and we were fortunate to be there for the Thursday night street fair / art walk. As we were walking we saw las Casuelas and it looked nice with plenty of outdoor seating. We checked in and requested outdoor seating. About 30 minutes later they texted our table was ready. Well we did get seated outdoors but it was by the band and it was so loud we couldn't even talk. I wanted to move but my guy doesn't like to ruffle feathers. Horrible seating if you're not intoxicated and don't mind yelling. NO JOKE! The food we ordered was terrible. Abondigas soup was awful and should be taken off the menu. It was warm and served with 4 little meatballs and far too much cabbage. The carrots were not even cooked. Broth was bland. Carne asada burrito was meh. I believe at one time the food here was good but I think it's ship sailed and there are so many other options for dining in the area. Waste of money as well.

Yelp
DOG friendly patio so plus for us, BUT you can order something for your dog, but not feed them there so our pooch gave it some paws down for that. I do want to add, that the waiter was kind enough to tell us he checked and the chicken, we ordered for our dog, was marinated in garlic and such so not good for dogs. Asking about the other meats, he said it was the same so you'd have to go elsewhere if you want to gets some eats while out for your dog. We love coming to this place and listening to the band and dancing after we eat. Been coming here for so many years and the band is always good! Margaritas were too sweet for our liking and $25 a pop, but were big sized & did have a good amount of alcohol in them. My wife loved the crispy beer battered shrimp tacos and it came with rice & beans. Fresh toppings of tomatoes, lettuce & cheese and came with a tasty cream sauce and a taco sauce. I got a 3 combo - Chile relleno, cheese enchilada & chicken tostada that came with rice & beans. Good old standard plate of really good Mexican food! Will always be back when in Palm Springs.
google avatar

Melissa M.

Yelp
The atmosphere is fantastic, and this restaurant has a ton of seating and a great outdoor bar. The food was good not great, but the service was good. I liked the chips and salsa, but the margarita, which was top shelf, tasted a little off. I'm not sure why. Overall, it's a nice spot for a traditional Mexican meal.
google avatar

Vicente G.

Yelp
A cup of soda will cost you $5.25 + tax at their new airport location. This is ridiculously overpriced! They don't even have available Wifi at that end of the airport so you'll have to go to the main terminal if you want to get any work done. You're better off just grabbing a drink at the main terminal closer to your flight.

Yelp
*Las Casuelas es Pretty Buenos* Haven't been here since my childhood but wifey's never been so we decided to give em a try on a Saturday night with a resy made 2 days in advance. The restaurant is huge, the decor is authentic...and kinda reminded me/us of a Mexican Villa Resort while on vacation. Arrived 15 minutes early and nicely asked if it's "okay to grab a quick drink in the bar?" but Christain, the young snooty host, in an unfriendly tone says "no, you need to be seated now" WHOA (Strike One) yet the couple that was before us didn't even have a resy were seated right away as I observed lots of empty tables. Perhaps the host is the owners son or nephew and gets away with this type of behavior?? I requested a booth with my resy and it was confirmed while checking in with the snooty host. The sweet hostess that "showed us to our table" first escorted us to a booth right smack next to an open double-door that leads to the outdoor patio on a chilly night. When I asked to sit somewhere else, she had to ask (the cold snooty host) and then shown to a much better booth in a quiet corner. (Intentional Walk) Immediately after being seated, Brian, the awesome bus boy/dude/fine young man brought us chips & salsa & water. I asked him for some water without ice and he brought me a glass twice the size and said "I got you bro." (Lead-off Triple) Then our kind & friendly waiter, Javi, arrived to welcome us and after a little chit chat, we found out he's been there over 20 years (RBI Ground-rule Double) Their prices are reasonable...the menu is very extensive...and even though I knew in advance it was gonna be a chicken fajita night for me, wifey needed a little time to decide -- tho I predicted to myself & her that it was going to be a combo plate night. And that she did. Meanwhile, Brian appeared to refill another basket of their excellent fresh & warm tortilla chips without us asking...and he refilled our water glasses too. Because at that point, wifey decided to have a skinny margarita after dinner in the bar so we could listen to their house-band jamming. Before we know it, the food runner arrives with our "piping hot plates." The first thing I noticed was my fajitas weren't "sizzlin" like I'm used to seeing & eating...but the portion was enormous (like I read on the menu is a 1/2 pound of chicken) and I skimmed on lunch so I could devourer the entire plate & meal (Solo Homer) Unfortunately, they made a mistake with wifey's combo plate and brought a wrong item she didn't order (Strike 2) which we both noticed right away. They took away her plate and returned a few minutes later and corrected their error. (Sacrifice Fly) My fajitas were pretty good. I'm not complaining. But I've had better. The pinto beans were hot & good but the rice was kinda warm and tasted like it was made long ago. The corn tortillas were okay, but one of the 3 stuck to the parchment paper (not cool) The guacamole was lackluster and it had more filler than guac (perhaps sour cream?) Wifey thought her meal was pretty good/okay but had better and I agree because I sampled everything (see pics) but I thought the tamale was very good and stood out the most (She had leftovers to take home which turned into my planned-overs the next day :) 7th inning Stretch: After dinner we ventured to the busy bar for a drink & live music. Unfortunately, the skinny margarita on the rocks was dreadful and filled with soda water. Huh? (Stee-rike 3) But the bartender kindly remade it and was better/okay not good nor great. (Hit By Pitch) Post Game Show: Upon leaving, we exited the restaurant from the same main entrance we arrived. At that point the restaurant was empty and there were SEVEN young hosts & hostess (lead by the snotty host) gathered together engaged in small talk & joking around with each other, and not a single one acknowledged us -- which is one of my biggest peeves when dining out. As a host & hostess, your job is to do 2 things -- welcome & greet guests upon arrival then knowledge them at departure. (Ball 4 take your base) *Note to Management: train & encourage your team of hosts & hostess to be a little more hospitable* But all in all the service otherwise was outstanding and 5 stars. The band in the bar was tight and very good. The food was 3 stars but the chips & salsa deserve a BiG HiGH 5 -- rounding the bases to 3 stars due to the awful margarita and unfriendly vibes from the host. Juego Terminado~~Game Over

Yelp
This has always been a place we have loved to come for food and atmosphere over the decades but somewhere between 2023 and 2024 things really shifted. They are closed for several days out of the week, and they replaced their menu with basic dishes with very limited choices. This is the third time we've been back this season and I can tell you the flavor misses, as well as service. And yes, we all know we've had inflation, but the prices are ridiculous. Don't do it, it's become a tourist trap. I would go to their original location where their tacos are made the same, as tacos are not made the same here.
google avatar

Alvaro F.

Yelp
Came here because they had live music as we were walking by. This location is pretty neat because it has multiple buildings and it has a hardcore Mexican architecture feeling about it. We all ordered margaritas - I got the mango and it was 10/10. $25 for about 5-6 shots worth of tequila.

Yelp
Hadn't been here in a few years as we visited Palm Springs on their closed days, we finally hit it right on a Saturday when Palm Springs was bustling. We parked on 111 easily and made our way over to the hostess window. We requested patio shaded seating which we were seated immediately. We were greeted by a busser with chips and salsa. Our waiter came by a short while later. Our food took what seemed like a bit of a long time. It soon arrived and both plates had a very nice presentation. I opted for a two item combo and it was very nice though a larger plate could have been employed as the chicken burrito hardly fit on the plate. It was a very nice meal in very festive surroundings. I've always loved this place and am surprised to see many three star reviews. I looked around at the different rooms and patios and the place naturally shows some age but it's clean and pleasant, they had some pretty good live music on the left side patio with a pretty good crowd there. I can only say it was great service, excellent food and a very pleasant environment. I'm looking forward to being back there soon when they are open...they are closed Tuesday and Wednesday, being a resort town I can understand that. Do make a visit while in the area, it's a pleasant place.

Yelp
We got seated very quickly for being a Saturday night. The waiter we had was horrible. He was moody and it felt awkward to order with someone who was not having a great day. The food was not that great. I had the ceviche appetizer and it was not that great. I definitely won't try this place again and probably should have listened to the previous reviews. I only tried it because a friend said it a popular place in Palm springs. Regardless glad I gave it a try.

Yelp
Great place ,wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff! We were there just for one night .Someone by the name Eric (I think ) was super helpful in mentioning some other hotspots and cool restaurants to try out before we left. Food was amazing and the drinks OMG you gotta try the Agave Margarita & guacamole is the best hands-down I've ever had! Got to try this place out you won't be disappointed!

Drinks are a tad to strong for me personally, but I drank em! They have good chips n salsa, the salads are F'ing delicious! Went two times in a 3 day trip to have the same salad. Bomb. Service was fast and friendly. They also had a live band playing, lively place. We will definitely return.

Yelp
This was my go to spot for food and drinks and I recommended it to everyone. We used to ditch high school and come eat here from LA in 2001-2002. However things have taken a turn. Went there for the first time in a long time and the bar has dropped. The service was great and the vibe was amazing but the food wasn't. The outer shell of the ice cream was stale, and the food was meh. The food missed the mark completely. I hate leaving a not great review, for a place I loved to visit, but I doubt I'll be back.

Yelp
Three greeters with no discernible system on checking people in. The waiting area to be seated is unbearably hot. Seated and was told they have AC issues. It's Palm Springs in July in the day. It's 116 degrees outside. Asked if Dan could be moved. They moved it but then moved it back. Did not have items listed on the menu. Server was slow and did not know the menu or drinks. It was bad, we fancied our order and left after paying for the drinks. Do not go here.

Yelp
To me, this is very average Mexican food. The taste is okay, I've never had anything incredible here. Really what i like is the ambience. It's a very beautiful casita style restaurant with fountains and a beautiful terrace. They also have live music and a very bustling bar area near the music. The food is just average though. But it's a nice beautiful atmosphere

Yelp
Despite the leisurely service, the restaurant delivered an unforgettable culinary journey. Opting for the enchiladas suiza, I was met with a burst of flavor that left me craving more. My friend enjoyed their tacos as well. The drinks were strong, striking a perfect balance without overwhelming. Despite the wait, the impeccable flavors made the experience worthwhile. There were a few TVs around, not just at the bar, so if you wanted to watch a game you could sit almost anywhere. I loved the room and the photos around it. The lighting gave a nice vibe. I would try to come back when it's less busy!

Yelp
Loved this place, very well decorated. Nothing over the top, very nice and spacious venue with live music. They have an indoor bar and outdoor dinning area. The food was pretty tasty, had the Mar & Tierra place (surf & turf), the only thing I kind of did not like was the shrimp and steak both being over cooked. The manager Eric came and checking in on us and made great small talk and even a few great jokes but I feel he spent more time with us than the actual server. We got one water refill at the end of the meal and had to wait midway to our visit to order guacamoles. The food did not take extra long specially as we ordered nine plates and they all were served together. Will come back to try more great food but will try another server.

Yelp
First off, this place is convienent for big groups and they provide free chips and salsa. Which were good! But the food, it's a no for me y'all. The aguachile is awful, the rice was very old. The food overall was bland.

Yelp
I love Las Casuelas Terraza. Their longevity in Palm Springs, CA speaks for their success, dedicated customer service and delicious food that's been shared by a beloved hard working family, fun management, including Eric N., and great staff. They're appreciated not only locally, but respected internationally.
