Will def be going back whenever I’m in the area. Not only was all the food we got SOO food but the customer service was amazing. It seems like a smaller family owned spot and the owner was so kind and helpful. The portions are big and everything tasted fresh and hot. If you’re craving tacos or just Mexican food, def check this place out!!

Excellent! Legit! Flavorful! Authentic! I’d been craving chilaquiles for a while and these hit. Clean space. Good food. Nice people. Can’t wait to go back to try the tacos, tortas, nachos and flautas. They know what they’re doing. Keep the consistency. 👏👏👏🤩🤩🤩 3rd visit had barbacoa tacos 🤩

Loved it here! My partner got the fish tacos on special (pictured below). I got a couple veggie tacos - one mushroom. They were so accommodating about me not eating dairy and unbelievably nice.

A friend recommended this restaurant and it did not disappoint. We loved the authentic mexican food & the service was great. Our server, Raul, was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was delicious. We got the birria tacos, quesadillas and guac. Loved it all. Will be back!

Sweet spot for a casual yet lovely meal! Nice veggie options too. The food tasted fresh and made with love and care. friendly service. The quesadilla with flor de calabaza and enchiladas Rojas were delish!

Any of the tacos is great! I love their hot sauces, especially the green one. Tamarind juice is a plus and the mango sorbet dessert is a pleasant surprise. Staff is friendly and nice, family owned and run.

Best Mexican food in Ridgewood. Maybe even in Queens? Vibe is warm and comfortable. The people there are always kind and accommodating. Excellent service.

It's a quaint spot with enough seating for tone large group of like 8-10. The server was nice but they don't really give us enough time to make up our minds. The food though was fresh and good. I enjoyed the soy and I would come again.

Came in for a late Thursday night meal, something simple and light, and Las Chilangas' food surpassed my expectation. I like the food here!!! Chips and salsa were complimentary. Tortilla chips are the same as the one that they use in the birria tacos, so they're on a thicker side. Crunchy, but slightly too hard. However, they work perfectly in the birria tacos that I had. Once you pick up the taco, beef doesn't fall out thanks to the mozz cheese. And the birria dipping sauce is just perfect with depth of flavors, savory and salty. Although I love to sip on soups, this is on a saltier side, best as dipping soup. I love that the tortillas are slightly chewy, crunchy even after dipping, and they hold the shape once fried. Great combination of flavors and texture. Birria Burrito was good, and I had a few bites. The rice inside has good flavor, and that's another great must-order if you want something more filling. I cannot wait to come back and try other regular tacos, definitely interested in their Taco Tuesdays! birria tacos are some of the best I've had in NYC. Great price. Great service. Casual and humbling place that I see myself coming by so often from now on! I wish they make thinner tortilla chips though!

In an area that is full of awesome Mexican restaurants, this one really stands out. The food is incredible and Fernando, the manager, is awesome. We've spent a lot of time in Mexico and one of the best things about this restaurant is that they really know how to balance the different spices to create incredible flavors. The quality is really great. Fernando is also awesome. He is very knowledgeable about gluten free food and it's a great place to go if you have allergies. Also, we hadn't been for about 3 months between the first and second time we went, but without mentioning it again, he remembered from our previous visit that I had an allergy. That's an amazing memory and incredible customer service. It makes you feel like you are in good hands. LOVE this place and will go again and again.

Came in for dinner, i ordered steak nachos, and horchata and my boyfriend ordered Birria queso tacos and horchata. We loved our meal, it came out pretty fast and everything was so tasty and fresh. Will i come back ? Of course this is going to be my new go to Mexican spot in Ridgewood. Worth the money? Yes the total was only $35

This place is the bomb. Super friendly service, amazing food. Chips and salsa both homemade delicious and devilishly spicy . The quesadillas texture was Michelin star worthy and the molé was v complex!! Will def be back.

Was my second time coming here and wow the food is so delicious, everyone is really nice and attentive. I couldn't stress enough how good the birria torta is

Went here earlier today and was so impressed by how flavorful the food is. The birria tacos were incredible, some Mexican places I have been to in the past were no where near as good as these. The restaurant itself was decorated very nicely making it feel very welcoming. 5/5 service and overall very authentic food, highly recommend.

Went for a quick bite after work and I was not disappointed. The sopes were so good! It was pretty busy but our food didn't take too long :) I will definitely be coming back!

This is the most authentic Mexican food in the area! Service is great, and the tacos are just fantastic! You also always get the complementary chips and salsas. Their green salsa is to die for, I bought some from the store after eating theirs and they can't even compare so I think they make their own. Highly recommend!

This is by far the best mexican food I've had! I had the huaraches and my daughter had the tlacoyo, The service is wonderful :) I recommend it 100%. Both dishes felt fresh and had a strong homemade feeling.

Best tacos in Ridgewood! The Al Pastor and Chorizo are my favorites but they have a bunch of interesting specials as well. Highest recommendation.

As a native from Los Angeles, I have found it very difficult to find delicious Mexican food in NYC. This place was raved to me at a local bar & i decided to swing by. I'm so so glad i stopped by. This place was absolutely delicious! The carne asada quesadilla was amazing. The tortillas made by hand too? That's made with love! Also, the customer service was great. Would recommend this place to any and everyone!!

They actually DO have pretty cute outdoor seating- so you can eat there even with the city restrictions. My boyfriend and I were not sure what to expect but the food really was great. The burrito was classic looking but done exactly right according to my guy. My nachos were beautiful and had a really great balance in ingredients, which in my experience is not always the case with nachos. The waiter was very helpful and offered us an absolutely delicious and creative desert at the end - on the house! What we intended to be a quick meal in the neighborhood was turned into a really excellent date out. Love this place and will definitely be back.

First time ordering from this restaurant. Their hours said it closed at 10 I called at 9:10 and thought I wasn't going to have a later dinner!!! But thank God they took my order and delivered it asap. I really appreciate it , the food was amazing I can't complain. Thank you so much !!!! I definitely recommend this place. TACO TUESDAY! Las Chilangas never disappoints. $2 savory tacos on Tuesday, can't beat that. I love the roasted chile that they threw in, makes me feel like I'm back home in New Mexico! Love this place!

Las Chilangas has the best tacos in Ridgewood! Go for the $2/taco deal on Tuesdays but they're the best all week -- and year! -- round. Eat in to enjoy plentiful servings of their homemade salsas.

Delicious, well prepared food from Las Chilangas. Service is friendly, professional, and always accommodating. I have tried several new (to me) authentic Mexican dishes here, made with love and attention. I come here whenever I can for takeout and (finally, once again) indoor dining. Pleasant, airy and well-lit natural lighting thanks to large windows on this corner spot.

This place is great. It really stands out among all these tacos spots in the area. The food is delicious and the service is amazing. All their tacos have been great. Today I went for the birria tacos and ramen and I was not disappointed.

Great food and Service, definitely my number one spot for Mexican food from now on, I'm not a big fan of sweets but I have to say that their Flan is one of the best that I tried in a while.

YAL... This place is A-MAZING!!! Like if I'm being honest, I meal prep nearly every week. Though, I come here like 3x a week. It never gets old!! It's so delicious and flavorful, and fresh. I feel like I should be their ambassador because every time I see someone looking at their menu on the window whether I'm passing by, carrying out, or dining in, I say GO IN! Fernando is part owner and is so wonderful. The Chefs are fantastic and I feel like it's my second home (or kitchen). My favorite is the Chicken De Masa (is a quesadilla). I've never had one like this (authentic, fresh bread, seasoned chicken) and I cannot get enough. I got my roommate hooked too. Her favorite (my second favorite) is the chicken sopas. This place gives you a hell of a portion size. Though, I don't often share. Today, I ordered the Sopa De Birria and after one bite I had to write a review. Hell; if I'm being honest, I should've six months ago. Well, all I'm saying is DONT SLEEP ON LAS CHILANGAS!! You'll regret it. Anyways, here's a pic of tonight's dinner. The soup and two tacos.

Updating this review to add that I finally tried something other than the tacos. I ordered nachos and they are FANTASTIC. Absolutely wonderful flavor and it was enough to last me 3 days! Man, I love this place.

The food here is AMAZING. The service is too. I don't go elsewhere for this cuisine in this area, it is truly the best. Cant recommend it enough.

I dined outside and had the $2 taco Tuesday special. Writing a review because it was an amazing deal for the amount of food, I got some al pastor and chorizo tacos and the plating was really nice but more than anything the service was so good! The waiter offered me hand sanitizer after I sat down, the food came w complimentary chips, and they gave a little chiclets box with the check. So cute. I would recommend coming and trying the food :)

Best Mexican food in Ridgewood! Everything including the pambazos, pozole, and quesabirria are incredible. Truly an amazing atmosphere that makes you feel like you are in Mexico City!

Wow. This might be one of the best Mexican places in New York, and definitely one of my favorites in Brooklyn. Tacos, quesatacos, sopes, everything is really good and I totally recommend!

Desperately hungry today while in search of a fake beard. Wandered past several Mexican joints and even though I'll usually not be super picky because everything around here is pretty decent , but something told me to hold off. Las Chilangas called to me as soon as I saw it, and I didn't ask questions. Got the tacos dorados (1 potato, 2 cheese). Guy at the front was super chill about my questions and gave us chips and delicious tomatillo salsa even tho my order was takeout , just so we'd have something to munch while the tacos were assembled. When the tacos arrived, they were perfection. Golden crispy truly lovely things covered in the perfect amount of topping (crema + lettuce + tomato) for only six bucks. Currently scanning the menu; think I'm gonna go round two for dinner.

This spot is a cute little spot. They advertise $2 tacos on Tuesday but one thing to keep in mind is that it's smaller than the original which is $3. The tacos were good! I got the chorizo and al pastor and they were cooked amazing.

I'm really disappointed that I went to this place for the first time today and wasn't able to order a thing. I've always wanted to try their tacos because of their good reviews. Sad I'm leaving this low star review but the truth of my experience must be told. When I went Saturday afternoon 10/9, there was literally only two other people in there and the guy behind the register seemed friendly at first. When I asked to order he said yes and I said I would sit outside, then he asked for my vaccine card. In NYC, you can sit outside and eat without a card. When I stood up for myself he wouldn't budge and I couldn't waste another breath or my business on a place that was so clear on letting me know where I don't want to be, and left. That's ridiculous!! Bringing business and being turned away, I'm amazed places like this think they will survive treating others that way. You would think places would be grateful after these hard times and conditions we've all been living in. Not cool.

I've been on the hunt for a great burrito since moving from the WestCoast and found just what I was looking for at Las Chilangas. Delivery was fast and the food was even better. If you're looking for a classic big Cali style burrito, this is the place for you.

They offer outdoor seatings. They were extremely friendly and cordial when I visited with my friends. I had their nachos to share among three of us and three tacos to myself. Extremely generous portion, and I ended up taking two of the tacos to home. They are reasonably priced as well. I will definitely come back.

The food is always delicious. We had burritos, tostadas, tacos n enchiladas. They came on time, fresh and hot still.

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the neighborhood , enchiladas in green sauce are delicious the portions are big so I usually end up with half of my portion to go .
