Very welcoming atmosphere with the tables spaced perfectly to have a private dining type experience. With an extensive wine list the host paired my partners wines to the DDay set menu we want for. Our host was very attentive to all our needs and explained in good English what we were eating (and when we couldn’t understand we used google translate which was not a big deal) We went for the D Day specially set menu which was a perfect choice and variety of amazing dishes. I’d highly recommend visiting you will not be disappointed.

An enjoyable meal when we visited in October. It was a private dining experience as we were the only table for a weekday lunch. Service was discreet and well-timed, if not a bit abrupt. The food was pleasant and highlighted a selection of local ingredients. Some dishes more notable than others in terms of taste and plating. We did not have wine, and were surprised that no alternate drinks were offered to us. I would return for dinner if I was already in the area.

The best oysters I've ever eaten, anywhere. My wife's prawn spring rolls were so tasty. Our main courses were delicious. We could only manage to share the dessert of fondant chocolate with ice cream. All in all, Superb.

We had dinner at this lovely restaurant 2 nights in a row while visiting the area. The food is creative and delicious (I love gaspacho and this one was definitely the best one I ever had), the staff is very friendly and speaks good English, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is great :) Super recommend

We had an amazing dinner at l'As de Trefle. It was a highlight of our trip to Normandy. All dishes were delicious. We tried fish carpaccio for appetizer and fish for the main course. All had a delicate taste with a hint of asian influence. The service was very friendly and welcoming. There was good selection of wine.

What a delight to dine here for my husband's birthday dinner! Who would have thought of savouring foie gras together with lychee sorbet? The exotic flavours were beautifully blended with French ingredients. Kudos to the chef...

Great experience. Not amazing but a very good rating for the overall quality of the kitchen. The chef, Anthony Valette, has both the experience and the subtile creativity that makes you [re]discover the Normand local food. The place is nice and comfy (in a place close to the D Day beaches but where you wouldn't necessarily go to). In conclusion: highly recommend.

We were late relative to our reserved schedule for 20 persons of the same family. We were so happy to be so well accomodated with short notice. We were very well received, we took the menu of the day which was very delicious with miniardises well done and a good Loire river wine . We enjoyed the duck as well as the salmon, this was so good that we would prefere larger portions. We shall never forget the chocolat dessert. We thank the team for their patience and professional service. In case of futur visit of the landing beaches we shall return with pleasure.

Aloha, wow what a find! Amazing flavors from this chef,definitely Michelin worthy. And so reasonably priced. Normandy has some really awesome cuisine with fabulous chefs. Every bite gave a mouthful of pleasure. L'As de Trefle is definitely worth the trek. Make sure to have a Rez. Enjoy!
