The food is delicious and the portions huge, especially for the price. Haven’t been here in a long time and they changed a couple things. Their menu is now on tablets and they increased their prices a little. I love their outdoor seating area, very nicely done. Staff was nice, but they mostly only speak spanish, so it is easier to order if you have some spanish knowledge. I ordered breaded chicken with salad and rice & beans. My boyfriend ordered a mixed platter (see picture). Both plates were delicious. We also ordered two drinks, they are beautifully decorated and have a good amount of alcohol in it. The food and drinks were served very quick. There is street parking available. Recommend this restaurant!

Decent chicken and excellent pork as well as sides . The delicious food, flavors are look like home made and frish . Lot of chose bakery,smoothies and the service is great, first language is Spanish. Hopefully, friendly and nicely attentive Lorena is professional service gives .Reminds me of eating at home. Clean and spacious.

This place is so dirty. There were flies in the restaurant and the girls working in there obviously did not care. I do not recommend this place to anyone. They don’tt keep it clean and they added the tip to a party of 2. As per NY state the tip is only allowed to be added to a party of 4 and up. I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone. The owner needs to make sure that his or her employees keep this place clean and they don’t.

Our server was accommodating, the food and drinks were amazing. I have already recommended to several people and I haven’t even left the restaurant yet

Everything was perfect about the restaurant just that they spoke mostly Spanish and service was slow but there were a lot of people and the food taste great so forgiven 😉

Coffee taste so bad. The empanadas were cold, stale, hard and flavorless. My husband bought 4 what a waste of money.

I came here because their Instagram page popped up in my newsfeed and I just had to have one of those drinks. They are artistically done and worth the visit. I ordered the fried whole snapper with salad and the tostones with shrimp. The tostones came out piping hot with melted cheese and was really tasty. Fish was crunchy, a little under seasoned for my liking, but it was still good. I sat outside because the weather was nice but the tables and chairs was really dusty. I asked the hostess could she wipe down the table in which she did, but she did it with a sour smelling rag. The kind that leaves behind the smell of feet. I was instantly annoyed and almost cut my visit short. She didn't spray any disinfectant and that rag was probably a rag they used all day and the day before. Gross! I had to wipe down the table and my seat with my disinfectant wipes I carry in my bag. I think they may store the table and chairs somewhere once they close because when I wiped down the chair seat, it was extremely dirty. I was so mad I even sat on it not realizing how filthy it was. The restaurant wasn't crowded at all, I was seated quickly. They have a nice covering overhead to shelter you from the outside elements. They also have the plastic igloo covering over some of the tables in the back. My hostess was really nice and hospitable. I still tipped her despite the mishap with the cleanliness of the table. The food was just ok! But that drink was the bomb! I'd pay another visit during happy hour.

One of my favorite Colombian bakeries! I can't really speak to the dinner or drinks but the baked goods and breakfast are delicious. I love their outdoor setup and sitting here for breakfast. My favorites are the chicharrón, chorizo and empanadas. Everything is really reasonably priced and has good portions. The service is friendly but can be a little slow sometimes. Highly recommend!

Best Colombian coffee in college point prob Queens in general. Great baked goods pan de bono great pan con queso great soft stays soft even the next day.

My friend and I decided to have dinner at Las Delicias. The have plenty of outdoor seating in the back, side and in front of the restaurant. We arrived and there were only 3 people in the back, but the time were leaving the restaurant was packed. I ordered the seafood soup with white rice and beans. It was amazing with lots of shrimp, clams, fish and noodles in the soup. The rice and beans complimented it very well. My friend had the rice with chicken, it was tasty and delicious. I had the sangria which was a great blend of flavors. The only downside service was really slow because they only had two servers for the night.

The food at Las Delicias is amazing. The service is good and the staffs are so nice. The place is always clean and well decorated. If you love Columbian food or just want to try it , this is your place to go because you won't be disappointed.

I really like this bakery. Not sure why it has such little reviews but the food is good and I like to stop by to get a delicious pollo empanada or some buñuelos. Good place!

Wish I ate here sooner. I've been here for Colombian bread years ago but didn't realize they served food until I came across their Instagram page recently. When my husband and I realized this is the place across from our regular spot we were shocked and couldn't wait to try it. Of course I checked Yelp to see what the reviews said and was surprised there wasn't any recent customer photos and better reviews. And so we hesitated. My husband is Colombian and picky. We are also creatures of habit when we find something we like and we like another place in the area so when we came for dinner we sat outside and looked at the menu for 30 minutes and almost resorted back to what we knew. GLAD WE DIDNT! This place was DELICIOUS! Just like it's name. I had the salmon with garlic sauce which has shrimp, rice and beans. Absolutely delicious. The portions are big and I was able to save half for my lunch the next day. My husband had the typical dish and liked that they give chorizo instead of pork or chicken like other places. Something refreshingly different. He's also very picky about the red sauce because his mother used to make it best and isn't always impressed but he loved the red hot sauce here. I'm picky about beans and won't eat just any. These were very flavorful and hit the spot. I am so glad we tried this place and can't wait to try more dishes. There is a large outdoor seating area and even one of those bubbles (in the back patio) that are popping up all over the city for social distancing. The staff is friendly and welcoming which is a reason alone to return. I'm a new regular!

Why do ppl leave more than one star reviews the food here is trash the meat was uncooked and the fish was unseasoned that says a lot because Latinos love to season our food. And soooo over price liek if you gonna make food this expensive please make it good is not even cute you are literally seating in a house backyard Instagram is so deceiving do your self a favor and don't come here with high expectations

I stopped in here after my weekend errands - figured I'd buy dinner to bring home. But after reviewing their limited menu, I opted to buy their baked goods as a snack instead. Nothing on the menu jumped out at me right away except the empanadas. I was looking for French fries and a creamy chicken dish but they didn't have either. At least the servers were friendly and quick to pack up the items I requested. I ordered one of each variety of empanada "to go" - cheese, chicken, and beef. The cheese one was pretty good flavor wise but a tad greasy overall. The beef and chicken sadly were on the dry side. The meat filling inside was shredded meat (not ground) but that didn't help with the flavor or texture. On the flip side, the pan con queso was good. The bread was still soft but would've been better if warmed up. They didn't offer and I didn't think to ask. Oh well.

Had an awful experience! Ordered the "Day Special" which was lentil soup along with rice, carne guisada and salad. I started with a beverage that had a hair in my straw. Secondly the rice tasted old and the sautéed meat had nothing but fat and was dry. I informed the waitress and she stated well that's the special of the day. She didn't ask to change it for something else and on top the restaurant still charged us for it even though it wasn't consumed.

This place is horrible the service is horrific I saw them on Instagram and wanted to try them out first no one speaks English second they took 45 min to tell me that the food I ordered they didn't have then an hour to get my drinks and by then time the food came 2 hours later it was not what we ordered. This place has potential but they need to hire more staff and retrain the ones they have and get it together.

Not sure why the place has such low ratings but they are friendly and food was delicious. The rice was on the saltier side but nonetheless, the food was fresh and yummy. Wish we had a larger variation of margaritas but the drinks are yummy and strong! (Just tne way I like it.) Had to wait longer than quoted but their deals are amazing. Can't beat their price!

Food was delicious, Tables were little small for all the food. Yes we sat outdoor it was a beautiful set up. They make beautiful adult drinks just ask for one from their Instagram page.

Large selection of Colombian food. It's not anything to write home about but fairly decent. Service is slow but waitresses are very friendly. Outdoor seating area is nice. Overall good but there are better places.

Honestly we love the food ! However the customer service is really bad ! 1 hour waiting for drinks and food is unacceptable! They should hire more people ! 2 girls to take care of all the tables, Drinks and taking orders on the phone is ridiculous! The owner should hire more personal !

This place has been here for a very long time. They upgraded it recently. The place looks beautiful. They have delicious empanadas which everyone from college point comes to for. They have delicious Colombian pastries. They also make meals here like salads and such. They also sell drinks such as margaritas and pina coladas. Which I will totally be coming back for.

NUNCA EN LA VIDA E PROVADO UNA EMPANADA MAS MALA. Translation, never have i tasted a worst empanada. Asked for mixed only recieved chicken than smelled old and dry had to open all of them to see if they all had the same weird odor. The service wasnt very welcoming either I didnt dare go back in to request a refund. They could keep my money but they could also hold this 1 star.

Ive been to this place for years... It was always a hit or miss with the food (the bakery portion was always a hit). However, they really stepped it up. Im not sure if its new ownership or perhaps a pandemic wake up call, but whatever they are doing now they are doing it right. Try their picada ... your welcome.

I used to come to this place like 3 years ago when it was just a small place with nice people taking care of the to go orders , I tried two times after in different ocasiones and both were unsatisfied, the beef empanadas are not the same very little beef and dry , the chicken empanadas had bones and cartilage in it , the empanadas used to be the best now their quality decreased a great deal , it is ashamed that they are more concerned in making money , the lady taking my order in both cases was not welcoming at all , I was standing there for a good 10 minutes and she didn't even look at me , in general the place doesn't inspire me to eat the at all that's why I never did , not I won't even come back for the empanadas

Horrible service, the women taking my order hung up on me because I " asked her to repeat what she was saying too many times" but in reality only asked her 2x due to the connection. When I called back to try and finish giving my order she gave me a lot of attitude and mocked me on the phone.

Amazing Colombian food. Just came back from Colombia last week and still wanted authentic Colombian food so I gave this spot a try. Everything was delicious

I am leaving a one star because there is no way to leave no star and a review. My family and I decided to try this place due to their Instagram post. Let just say we were catfish. When we arrived we were told to dine in we needed to go to the back of the place. When we sat down we were advise that they were in the middle of changing the wait staff and to bare with them. Which we did. When we finally were able to order each of us order our plates and a shared appetizer. It took them forever to give us our food which they forgot to place the appetizer order. The excuse again was that their chief was also changed and it will take longer for us to receive our order. We cancelled it. The problem here was not only the service but also the food. I order the salmon with the shrimp in garlic sauce. Not only was my fish overcooked and dry on top but it was raw in the middle. When I finally was able to get our waitress's attention and advise of my dish we were ready to leave. She spoke with the manager and they removed my dish from the bill. At the end when we received the bill there was a tip charge of $11. They don't even give you the chance to tip yourself. I will never return to this place nor do I recommend.

The ladies who work at this establishment are the rudest humans ever! God forbid you're not Colombian! They yell at you over the phone, and when they don't understand you they hang up on you! The food is great, the service is terrible. The owner should fire all these b*tches.

I always come here on Friday's and the lady Susana always knows what I want, she if very kind and so are the other employees. I love this place.

My husband and I have been coming here for a few years. The only reason I know about this place is because my husband is Colombian. They have such amazing baked goods that its managed to find its way into this Greek girls heart! They recently did a major reno on this place, which I'm not going to lie, they needed it. Now the atmosphere is as wonderful as their goods. In addition to the amazing baked goods, their food is Omg delicious! I usually get the grilled chicken and it's super moist and flavorful. It's called pechuga de pollo and I highly recommend it. My husband mixes it up between chicken and skirt steak and has never had a complaint. I've also turned my Greek family onto their Pan con queso, which is bread stuffed with cheese!!!

Warning!!!!! False Advertisement! When you pay they add on dollars. When I questioned them, they were charging me items we didn't even have. On top of that the prices in the Menu are not correct, she had to explain to me how they charge. After her explanation, it still didn't make sense because the prices are different from what they advertise. I should get a lawyer and sue because after requesting a receipt and I still feel like they didn't give me my money back. Do not recommend unless you don't care about getting ripped off!

Extremely bad service . Very unhelpful. When I realized I ordered horse meat and asked to change it they refused . I wouldn't even give 1 star if that was an option . No regard for those customers and the food wasn't good either

Where to begin.. I'm so disappointed. I used to love coming here for empanadas, coffee and occasionally dinner but I just cannot continue to deal with the customer service. I placed an Order for delivery and both of my orders were wrong. When I called the restaurant the person on the phone got extremely defensive and insisted that is what I ordered... umm ok I think I know what I ordered. Anywho after going back and forth she finally agreed to give me back my money but that I had to come pick up at the restaurant ( this alone makes no sense seeing as they screwed up the order) anyway I get there and Michelle who is the person I'd been dealing with decides to tell me they can't give me back my money. Ok then why the did she make me go there to get it?!?! I just don't understand how they can keep loyal customers this way. Anyway is all good plenty of other Columbian places in the area!

Review is for service only - it was so bad I wouldn't come back or recommend this place. Noticed this bakery while in the area for desserts and bought some bread and pastries to try. Won't be come back due to the bad service and lack of hospitality. The surly cashier walked off while in the middle of our order and then our friend's order. She was unwelcoming and not helpful when we asked her about the breads in the case. To top it off she short changed us. Too many other places to go for Colombian snacks and breads, pass on this place due to bad service.

They have snacks in the back also besides the bakery items. I have tried their chorizo, chicharron and empanadas. The food is only okay. I would not go out of my way but since I used to work nearby and since there was not much of a choice around, I came here. The bakery items in the case look yummy! They also have daily food specials. Yummy!

I've been reading the reviews and decided to still stop by. I'm not sure what waitresses they had but everyone was super friendly and pleasant and the food was great. I think it's always worth to take a risk rather than go by someone else's word. And prices are decent.

The lunch specials are delicious! $7-$8 for a nicely portioned meal. Their grilled chicken is sooo tender and flavorful. The grilled beef is great as well. Their white rice is the best rice I've ever had (sorry mom!). Credit minimum is $10. Metered street parking available right outside. Only downside is that the soups have absolutely no flavor at all. A little salt goes a long way. Also, the service sucks. The women here need an attitude adjustment!

Also they take a loooooong time to cook & serve you your food, I think the last two times I was there I waited 45 minutes for about 3 plates and there were only two other parties in the resturaunt. That's not acceptable. I've also gotten some attitude from the cashiers and waitresses and that is just something I don't stand for. Treat your customers with respect or get out of the food industry!

Good colombian food a little busy in the mornings but afternoon a very good spot to eat lunch. Service was fast and good every time i come to eat here dont have a problem waiting to get my order in and the food prep time is also not bad.

Slow Service, Food is decent. Prices are reasonable. They like opening the door in front of the restaurant facing college point boulevard, When you are eating your food the flies are feasting on your food too. Discusting, They dont bother turning on the AC and its like an oven inside the restaurant with constant annoyance of many flies touching down on your head and food. CLOSE the DOOR and turn on the AC. Flies are are extremely unsanitary...

Went here for Breakfast. Wasn't expecting too much but was very pleasantly surprised. The arepas with fried eggs are delicious. So is the empanada and the green plantain soup. The service is very friendly as well.

I'm just over them already. I come and order in all the time but their quality of food has gone down. Their chicharrones are always over fried and hard. I order bread chicken "pollo empanisado" and it was hard and over fried. I tried to speak with them but hey get defensive so just order from pollos marios the service and food is better

Nice food and good price, one of the best prices I've seen so far. Good service and decent speed. A few different tables and no reservation ever needed. Some nice pastries and milkshakes, delivery is fine too. Food isn't hot but isn't too cold either everytime I get it. Just warm and it's tasty. Everything is good, although, the rice is not at fresh (tastes good and not unhealthy at all it's perfectly fine) but some would stick together like a chuck on rice (didn't become hard or anything) but you can tell it's a ready made batch. The rice already have salt in it and tastes quite nice and I love the beans and plantains. The steak is a bit dry and with how thin it is and with the beans ifs still good. The pork rind however is a bit over dry and hard compared to many places I've had. The meat is nice alright but the skin itself is so hard to chew and not crispy at all it's a bit disappointing to be honest. The meat was crispy though but the pork skin wasn't, but that's like the best part so hopefully that can change.
