Las Margaritas

We only had drinks here. It’s a cute place with bar. Was decorated with Valentine’s Day theme today. Margarita was really good. Sangria was okay but I have has better . Would come back for margarita.

First time coming here. The atmosphere was good and you can tell they get busy as you get into the later evening/night time . The food was good as were the drinks. Service was quick and portions were generous. I would recommend this to anyone looking to try a new spot to eat in queens.

Very interesting local sport bar. We order the fish and bbq chicken salad. Very tasteful. Good music with service

Poor quality service. They took long to come and seat our party of three although they saw us standing in the front for a while. Then they took longer to come get our initial order of drinks. The waitress passed by on one occasion at full speed and her plate accidentally bumped into one of the people in our party causing the plate to fall and break. She looked back and gave him a nasty look and proceeded to aggressively push her hip into our table when making her way back. When coming to take our order she was passive aggressive and she was muttering something to her coworkers about us when she input the order. We were hungry and being very patient with the servers being that it was a weekend. The food was dry, we ordered the Carne asada and it lacked flavor. Would not go back and would NOT recommend. Worst of all she made sure to circle the tip amounts when we asked for the check and she was very quick to collect our payment. Very unprofessional.

Excellent place to join with the family, the bar, the food, and the service is great. There is only one thing about the plates, all the plates are served whit 2 starch french fries and rice, they don't give you an option for vegetables. They really need to fix those menus, and include more veggies. Please put more options, no every body like to eat rice and fries at the same time. For the rest I loved the place, and the food is very good. Thank you very much, I have a vegetable option in my order, this is the fourth time in this year, is one of my favorite restaurants, the music, the attention, the food, and the best drinks in Queens

Love this place and its food. My husband and I came for Valentine’s it was beautifully decorated. Good service and tasty flavors.

We came here to watch a game of the World Cup and get some lunch. We came on a Sunday at around 2 pm and got a nice table. Everyone was very nice and the service was also pretty quick. We got the Pasta Primavera and the Fettuccine Carbonara and they were both amazing. Both came with a side of toasted bread, shredded parmesan cheese, and a salad. I thought it was a bit expensive (about 20 bucks), but it was delicious and served two adults and a hungry baby well, with leftovers. The only downside was the milkshake (6 bucks), that was pretty watery. Sorry about the half-eaten pictures. If this was helpful, please indicate so!

Food was delicious, with great flavors. Drinks were strong and tasty. I ordered a mango margarita on the rocks then ended up switching to a frozen passion fruit margarita (my friend had that and it tasted better). The service was lacking, it wasn't overly busy for a Wednesday night, and we were never brought water to the table and it took a while before the waitress even came to take our orders or ask how everything was.

Las margaritas has got to get a new name, because if you can't even make an item mediocre that you've named yourself after, you're not worth staying in business. Never in my life have I had a margarita that was clear. I'm surprised the staff isn't embarrassed to work there.... Most staff members were speaking Spanish, yet were somehow ok serving such a margarita, guacamole that likely came from Costco and offering Tabasco when you ask for hot sauce..... For all the food variety in Jackson heights, there is no need to stop into las margaritas. You won't get a good drink, you won't get edible food, and staff unfortunately doesn't care.

As a flight attendant we don't always have a lot of time to explore the cities we're in so we order food. I ordered the birria tacos and I was disappointed to say the least. The tacos were mostly fat, so of course there wasn't much to eat at that point. What I could eat honestly lacked flavor. Pretty disappointing to spend money to not be able to eat. I'm giving two stars because the presentation and packaging were great.

We were all hungry so we came here since V is familiar with the place. I've passed by so many times but never thought of eating there. It wasn't packed but we were there really early around 5pm. I ordered a Cubano sandwich, L had a Bandeja, V got the grilled chicken, and D had the breaded chicken. The last two entrees includes rice, salad, option of fries or mashed potatoes. You can opt for beans also. The Cubano was pretty tasty but a bit salty for me. Bread was toasted nicely. I was full after a couple of bites so I took the rest home but L & D were both starving and pretty much ate all their food. Portions are enough for two if you're not too hungry. I tried a lil of L's Bandeja. The rice and beans were good but the carne asada was really dry and chewy. The chicharron was crispy, but I only had a bite. Didn't try the egg but I prefer a nice sunny side up instead of an overcooked one. D ordered a Honey Mojito which I took a sip. Totally not a fan of JD Honey or any whiskey with homey, perhaps the worst mojito I've ever had.. should've gotten a margarita instead.... V had a sangria which came in the smallest wine glass I've ever seen. Like I could've finished it in 2 sips.

Food was amazing. The service was great. The ambiance was good. Would definitely go back again.

The skirt steak was super thin and not cooked the way we asked, it also took forever to get our food. They probably forgot about us. The tacos were mid. The drinks were good at least.

I'm so done with this dump! I have only myself to blame. When you go somewhere without checking the Yelp reviews you get what you deserve. We have friends that live a couple blocks from there. So, it's a quick walk for them and became the place we'd go for Bdays, etc. Food was ok. Drinks were ok. Absolutely nothing special. The 3 stars that I now see the place is rated. Went yesterday. Same ok food and drink. But ohhhh my goodness! Worst service I've seen somewhere in over 20 years. 70 minutes and NINE requests to get a glass of water. Frozen drinks (which obviously have to be made) no problem. So, things that add to the check (and potentially the tip) come easily. But things like water and napkins, good luck! It was painfully difficult to order food, too. Maybe they think if you wait forever for your food, you'll have more drinks? The environment is awful. They blast the music so you have to scream just to have a conversation. You yell to be heard above the music. Then, the next table has to be heard above the music and you. Then, I have to try to be heard above the music and 2 tables of screaming people. It's so stressful and unpleasant. For only the 5th time in my whole life, I didn't leave a tip. There's just nothing to recommend this place. With average food and drinks, high prices, bad service and unpleasant atmosphere, there are way too many choices in the neighborhood to go to this place.

This place has become a good low key hang out spot for my family and I. Food is usually good for a bar/restaurant kind of place. Drinks are amazing. Let me tell you, i love frozen margaritas, this has become my number 2 spot. Music is always a vibe- a good ole salsa, vallenato, some bad bunny here and there but when RBD played there one time, i was sold. Convenience I was at home! Rating this place a 5 because of my previous experiences. But coming here for mother's day was tortured.. table were on top of tables.. it was busy alright. I come from the hospitality industry myself and I first hand understand holidays are not the best times to go to a restaurant. You get served Mediocre food and mediocre service. Just to say I had a drink spilled on me, the service was not good. Felt the server was to present almost undesirable to enjoy the vibe. i will say the host on mother's day was very nice... again i should know better... cant say i wont be coming back because I am but hopefully they can take my review with positive intent. They have a good thing going

the place is clean and big. the food is good. however it used to be better when we got the food it was cold especially the rice, the portions are also smaller now. We have came to this restaurant a good amt of times now. the chicharron didnt taste good either.

Well I'm sitting in the bar and the bartender with the blonde hair and the pony tail is not very nice, she's just doing a job, she doesn't make you feel welcome. I'm asking for the check and I'm heading out!!

Met up with some friends at las margaritas before we headed to the stadium in queens. This is authentic Colombian / Latin American cuisine. This place is known for their margaritas (hence the name) and their great food. We enjoyed two appetizers, the chicken quesadilla and the picadellas, chicharron with salchicha and tostones. Then i decided to order the bandeja tipica. Picture included. I underestimated how much food was included in this meal but i don't always eat Colombian so i had to order it. It came with white rice, beans, steak, pork belly, corn cake, Maduro, avocado. It was very filling and could barley finish it. I was very full when i done and definitely had the Food coma. The food was great and service was great as well. The servers gave everyone time to make their order and didn't rush us out. I would definitely go back to when in the area.

On happy hour, I ordered a glass of pinto Grigio and some rice and garlic shrimp. The garlic shrimp tastes great but the rice was too hard as a rock. The most disappointing part was the glass of pinto Grigio, they forgot to wash it because it left a lipstick stain on. I told the waiter to change it to a cleaner glass and he did. The ambient of the restaurant was good for a happy hour and for sporting events along with some salsa and reggaetón music! But I'm not coming to this place to watch the upcoming World Cup because the food was not that great except for the garlic shrimp and they gave me a dirty glass of white wine! Ooops! I almost forgot, they gave me an unopened ketchup bottle for my fries (the fries were ok), they supposed to open it before serving to the customers!

Service was great, the salad was delicious and the ambiance was great. The chicken was grilled to perfection and HUGE portion. Definitely will come back. Great for large groups. This place will be around forever hopefully.

I have been here before and have always loved their margaritas. It is my only recommendation for this place. I came here recently and ordered a maracuya martini and had to return it because it was very watery. I ordered a coconut margarita on the rocks and it was delicious and the food was good. However, I ordered arroz con leche and after 3 spoonfuls we noticed a long, thick piece of hair deep in it. I told the waiter and he had the audacity to ask if it was really there. I was taken aback from his response. He looked at me as if I was lying. That isn't the response you give when you're in the hospitality business. I hope this doesn't happen to any one else.

Food was okay, waitress was fine. Bathroom needed fixing up. $70 bill and we were charged for to-go boxes for our leftovers. Next time we'll spend our time and money elsewhere.

Margaritas are good and strong I came here for a small birthday party, COVID style. Outside on the sidewalk, being solicited to buy flowers and everything else. But all jokes aside. The food was great, waiter was attentive and made sure everything was fine. The guacamole was good, I had some veggie tacos, with the green sauce was good! All in all a nice spot to get some good food and drinks. I would go back!

Truly amazing experience the food, ambiance, staff were all amazing! They made you feel more like family than a customer, they were attentive to our parties needs. Highly recommended.

I'm not sure why so many people rave about this place, it's below average. The margaritas have no flavor, it's pure rubbing alcohol. I could not even drink it. I ordered a chicken filet with cream of mushroom, it comes with a mini salad (some sour vinaigrette), rice and french fries. The dish was pretty basic but for $20, I could have gotten a better meal somewhere else. The waiter never served us water, and when we asked for water, he forgot so we had to ask again. At least, they thoroughly check your vaccine card and ID.

Came here with my family in law , and had such a good time. The ambience was great , music was not too loud but a nice background noise so that once my family in law And I stopped talking it wasn't completely silent and awkward. The food was honestly above my expectation it was delightful and I definitely recommend anyone to come. The honey Mojito was new to me but I really really loved it that will be my go to drink when I go there. There are also TVs in this restaurant so if you want to go out for brunch or lunch with your friends you can go and watch a soccer game at the same time.

My friend brought me here to try the margaritas and I was hooked on the maracuya, it was delicious!!! The services was very professional and the variety of music make the ambiance much better. I would definitely recommend this place. I didn't try the food since before we came I had a big dinner somewhere else but next time I will

I heard really good things about this place, from their food to their margaritas. Honestly, i didn't see the hype of it AT ALL. There are so many other places to eat in Jackson Heights. I came on a weekday and it was so packed and so many people celebrating birthday, which means the place is good right? We all ordered a found or margaritas on the rocks, and you could barley taste the alcohol.. there was also like two grains of salt around the rim. Pretty disappointing. There dishes are OKAY, it's very mediocre. Like I mentioned, there are many other places in the area that are better. The staff was great, super attentive and friendly. The place itself was clean and very nice decorated. Would I give them another shot? Probably not, but hey if your in the area and craving a margarita then why not!

This is 1 of my go to restaurants in my neighborhood. I've been a regular customer for over 10yrs. Their prices are very reasonable . I'm unemployed at the moment so I have to be budget conscious when I want to treat myself to dinner. The staff is always accommodating & I am so happy this restaurant survived the pandemic . The ambiance is also fun. Plenty of good music & TVs for the sport buffs . Enjoy ‍

The music is way to loud, The food takes to long and is still cold, and shortly after bringing your food they bring your check and barley give you any time to eat.

Drinks, appetizers was great, food was not great at all. Server was quite bossy, you don't get a chance to actually enjoy anything or have a chit chat

The food was good, and the drinks were decent. The problem is the people. Our waiter, Cristian, was not great. The service was good, but he questioned us about the curly hair found, deep, in our rice pudding. Then, we were overcharged for one drink, and it became an issue where he had to call the manager over, and the manager walked away in the middle of the conversation. Honestly, if you gotta deal with this stuff, is not worth the food. I've had much better, and much more friendlier places.

This is the best place to eat and have drinks. My waiter was Daniel and he was so nice and respectful. He was always attentive and happy. Thank You so much for everything.

How is this place always full on the weekends? Maybe the good staff comes on weekends? Maybe people just go for the drinks? Went for a birthday dinner on a weeknight and it was absolutely not worth it. We're seated and our server brings appetizers with no utensils and goes off to talk with a friend and play with their friends baby. We have to call someone over to please give us cutlery and they get annoyed we had to call someone over. We should've just left there. We ordered drinks and several dishes and honestly the only enjoyable thing was the sausage and french fries. Everything else was overcooked and hard. Maybe on purpose? Everyone there just looked to be annoyed and unhappy to be working there. The vibe there was just so negative. Just go to Barriles, love their servers, food and drinks.

Drinks strong had frozen mango margarita. Food also good especially the grilled pork chops.

Every aspect of this restaurant is terrible Went out with a bunch of teachers to celebrate the years end and was sorry I selected this establishment Two of us got our food first and the other three people got nothing we certainly weren't going to eat until everyone's meals were served so we waited .... and waited ..., and waited. Forget about trying to get your servers attention - they simply disappear Finally the other girls meals come and out were cold We asked to have them reheated and the waitress was less than thrilled Horrible service. Horrible decor horrible food. A true disappointment for what was supposed to be a fun afternoon - ruined

I usually order the chicken and shrimp scampi with rice and French fries on the side when I come here because of how juicy the shrimp and the chicken is! I suggest you try this is you like a nice garlic taste with seafood and chicken! The service itself is okay; nothing crazy like rude waiters or anything. But one tip of advice is to not order delivery because the food is not the same as eating it at the restaurant. The food is more fresh if you eat it there!

I entered the restaurant to order takeout and waited and waited but no one took my order. They didn't even greet me or notice that I was there. I have been to this restaurant many times and no one ever smiles while they take your order. And once they bring your food to the table, they never return to ask you how your food is or if you want anything else. Then when I want to pay for my food, I always have to look for my server because they disappear for 5 minutes. Although the food and drinks are good, the service is horrible and it never improves. If you want great food and excellent service, go to Uncle Peters.

This place supposedly advertises itself for Mexican food however it seems not once you arrive and go inside and look at the menu. The food offering seems to provide many any other Latin food such as: typical platter, steak, pork chop, and others. The food seems ordinary, nothing special that would make me come back to this place again in the future...

The service, each costumer it's important. The waiter has to be on top of the tables, all of the tables, no just the big ones; I remember that when he walk that day through the hall, he didn't even look the tables, I had to ask to a waitress that she was walking and looking the tables. The customer service in order to make happy all the customers, has to be impecable, has to be with cordiality, amiability, that makes a good waiter.

The food never disappoints. The drinks are great! Coconut margarita frozen, tequila sunrise,Heradura coco sunrise are among the few. Atmosphere is inviting and service is superb. Get crowded every day of the week.

Was in the neighborhood, decided to stop for quick bit and a few drinks. The name itself won me over, I live for margaritas never the less at happy hour price...Winning!!! I ordered a passion fruit margarita and my mother ordered a passion fruit mojito!! Both were perfectly made with the right amount of kick. For starters we ordered chicharron, house salad, and Buffalo wings.. house salad was old and dry... which made me notice all the garnishes (fruits for drinks) were old too ... not cool guys!! I ordered another passion fruit margarita but this time frozen. Placed our entree orders (Arroz con Mariscos and Chuletas parrilla) Lets just say I'll be back to enjoy happy hour drinks and wings ... other food not so much!! My server was extremely attentive and friendly as were the other employees I came in contact with. The restaurant itself was clean and dimly lite.

The portions are fantastic for the price, but I felt like my food was a little bland. The drinks on the other hand were made very well!!! My favorite was the Besito.

Very below average food. Service was very good though. Just didn't taste seasoned at all and they were missing multiple items on the menu.

1. It's not a Mexican restaurant. They serve from tacos to bandeja paisa and everything in between. Fajitas (chicken and shrimp) The fajitas were bland. Within 5 minutes the food was cold. The veggies in the fajitas looked like they were chopped by a 10 year old, there were huge chunks of veggies and again bland. The rice that comes with the dish tasted like the box rice you microwave which was probably the case. Guacamole OMG BLAND! There was nothing good about it we had to add lime and salt to give it some type of flavor. Soup of the day (fish soup) There was fish bones in the soup fish soup and again huge chucks of potatoes and carrots. Passion fruit mojito was okay, I've definitely had better Maybe I should've had a margarita since that's the name of the place.

I had lunch here yesterday with my boyfriend. The place says Mexican restaurant/ sports bar. But they serve all types of cuisine. We wound up ordering typical Colombian food. Of course it wound up being way too much food to consume at once but we had leftovers for later. The service was fast and the waitress was very nice and eager to please. I ordered churrasco chicken. Which is basically a grilled chicken breast it came with rice, salad and fries but I substituted fries for tostones. I didn't like the texture of the chicken in some parts it was mushy and had no flavor. Rice was fine, tostones were two huge pieces, mushy as well. I added chimuchrri sauce and salsa verde which wasn't spicy at all. My bf ordered the bandeja it comes with rice, beans, grilled steak, chicharron, arepa, fried egg, avocado and sweet plantain all for 15.50. I tasted his and it was ok We also ordered guacamole and a soup of the day which happened to be beef rib soup. I didn't try it but my bf said it was good. The guacamole was ok but needed a little heat, salt & lime juice. Overall their food was bland and the menu was overwhelming. It claims a Mexican place but they have cuisine from several different Latin American countries, perhaps they're trying to cater to the diverse population. It's better to be a place that does a few extremely good dishes than to try to do too much and it becoming sub par.

LOL. Not coming back here again. We picked this spot on impulse while looking for some solid Mexican food and it was just a flop. On their menu is says Tex Mex but when we looked over the menu it was not that at all. It seemed like a mix of Portuguese and Spanish food. The menu was just whatever. Very bland it all seemed. I ordered beef tacos and when they came I was equally surprised and let down. Instead of ground beef it was chunks of dry ass meat tossed in the center of a tortilla. How do you serve tacos with no sauce or greens in it? Solid 3/10. Our server was extremely slow.....EXTREMELY. Things were also sort of getting lost in translation. I really can't recommend this place. The prices were too expensive for what the food actually was. The tacos were just bad. The menu was not as the restaurant perceived it to be and the service sucked.

I love this place for a hangout. They have good drinks and it's affordable. What really make it perfect is the music and the vibe. I come here all the time with my best friends and just drink.

This place is one of my go too places in the Jackson heights area . Service here is always great , servers remember me and are always welcoming. Very friendly and the manager or owner always makes sure to say hello. Awesome customer service . Food is good , average Colombian style food with a mix of some Mexican and American dishes as well. They are very generous with the size of the skirt steak for the price this dishes feeds two hungry adults easily. The chefs salad is my personal favorite very simple but it's always a hit in my books. Last but not least there frozen margaritas are great !!! All types of flavors , passion fruit , mango , strawberry , coconut and of course lime . They have some good deals on drinks . Only thing I would recommend is having some type of lunch specials as most of the other restaurants in the area have food lunch deals .

Please don't waste your time or money. Came here to order a few margaritas to go and they were awful. The margaritas tasted like pure triple sec. I asked the bartender if she could fix this and she simply ignored me. The manager then came and rude told me that the margaritas had sufficient liquor. However my problem wasn't the liquor it was that it had way too much triple sec. She refused to fix the margaritas and instead just added some liquor. I also ordered empanadas which barely had an meat. They were filled with nuts potatoes

We orders buffalo wings and Costa Mesa is delicious! It's come with bbq sauce and blue cheese. So yummy filter fish with mushrooms sauce is very big! Carbonara bacon is ok is big too we order 2 but that's a lot of food for 3 people and service is good too I will come back again
