Yelp
Las Rosas is located on the border of Allapatah and Wynwood. This is a 20 somethings hangout.
Owned by the owner of Wood Tavern.
I used to go to this bar often, however over time I have seen the bar change, and its time to move on.
There's plenty of street parking that is not so secure because I have had my passenger window smashed for no reason at all, and I am not the only one. They also have a parking lot located at the back of the bar, which is not guarded, so you park at your own risk.
Walking in... there is a man at the door that searches you, who never seems friendly.
There's a large flat screen television on the wall, an oval looping bar, with comfortable bar stools around the curved bar. There's one pool table in the corner, and 3 tables against the wall with seating.
The atmosphere is engulfed in reds, with a large lit rose behind the bar.
There's a "Touch tone" juke box as you enter the bar that allows you to pick songs you want to hear with a huge selection. (You can download the APP through Itunes and you can choose songs through the app).
There is an adjacent bar which is next to the stage area that hosts local and bands from all over the country. Almost every night they have different bands, with no entrance fee, which is refreshing.
On Wednesday nights they have "Words and Wine open mic", which features local talent and many times there's an open jam playing outside on the open patio area.
The bathrooms are no so clean, and are fast down spiraling similar to the bathrooms at Churchills.
The drinks are cheap.
The bartenders are nice except for maybe one who seems angry all the time and chooses who he wants to serve.
Attitudes run rife here. Some of the patrons seem to be out of their minds, others seem to be on other planets, and some just seem to be as normal as you and I.
Rapidly becoming part of Allapatah fast.
