"Right across the street from BRIC on Fulton Street, this Mexican spot serves brunch, dinner, and Happy Hour specials on its expanded outdoor patio. I had a great experience at this restaurant. The decor was beautiful; it didn’t feel like I was in Brooklyn. Additionally customer service was superb. I visited this restaurant on a random Thursday and caught the happy hour. I found the food to be very delicious; especially the mushroom tacos and nachos. If your a mushroom lover I definitely would recommend giving them a try. Notable item was also the roasted poblano peppers w the corn.

This is my favorite place for Mexican food! Everything is so fresh and delicious and juicy! Took my family there and couldn’t be more happy! Coconut shrimp is my favorite and the ribeye steak! Highly recommend for group of people perfect to share

My friend and I came here for brunch post workout class and had the best time. The waitress was wonderful and went above and beyond in making our cafe drinks. They offer bottomless mimosas for a great price but we opted out that day. We will certainly be partaking next time though! The food was great and the portion sizes were superb. We ordered yuca fries, guacamole and chips, chilaquiles, and enchiladas off the brunch menu. I had a great experience and will absolutely be returning!

Google
Came here twice so far for their happy hour (once on Tuesday for taco Tuesday, too). It's a pretty decent place to get happy hour drinks from 4-6pm on weekdays. I would say their drinks are pretty strong and the food is not bad. The service is pretty good too. They are pretty attentive to you and will check back on you about drinks during happy hour. For food, I've tried the carne asada tacos, roasted mushroom tacos, nachos with chicken, and sweet plantains. The plantains are nothing special. I don't really taste much of the sauce or cheese. I would say the carne asada tacos are pretty good. There is a spicy peanut sauce they put on top that is amazing. It packs a good punch and has more flavor than the mushroom tacos. Having said that, the mushroom tacos were not half bad if you're a vegetarian. The chicken nachos were a good snack to share, but nothing too amazing again. My previous time here I've tried the guacamole and chips as well as what they call their Mexican pizza. The guac and chips were really small and not really enough to go around between 4 people and the pizza was underwhelming. Overall, it's a decent place for happy hour. Their tacos are not bad as well and would probably come back for some cheap drinks.

Didn’t come with much expectations but ended up enjoying the food here! Came for dinner on a Friday night as a party of three and we ordered the following: - Pollo Asado - Tacos Longaniza - Tacos Pescado - Esquites, Corn Off The Cob - Oxtail Birria Quesadillas - Huarache with Shrimp - Churros I personally liked the Pollo Asado with the corn tortillas. I’m not sure what kind of corn tortillas they use here, but I loved it and think it made a great difference on the food. I’ve had corn tortillas that are more rough and grainy, which weren’t to my taste, but this was soft enough but not to the point where it would break super easily. My ideal kind of corn tortilla! The Tacos Longaniza consisting of sausage was surprisingly very good and was the reddish kind of sausage, which was not what I was expecting. I liked this more than the fish tacos (Tacos Pescado) since it had more flavor and isn’t a kind of taco you can find anywhere. They each come in three per order. The Esquites were good, though came much smaller than I had expected. It came in a small round bowl that felt like it’d be gone after a few bites. I also liked the Huarache with Shrimp on flatbread. Make sure to get it with the shrimp - it definitely made a difference. The Oxtail Birria Quesadillas were just decent, nothing too special about them. Lastly, wasn’t a fan of the Churros. It comes with a chocolate dip, but the texture wasn’t what I was expecting so don’t really recommend getting.

Google
Such a great spot in Downtown Brooklyn! Loved the enviroment with the open kitchen! The coconut shrimp is a MUST, please order that, and we absolutely loved the skirt steak churrasco with yuca fries (OMG, so crispy!).

Google
Nice vibe, great location, good food, but service was terrible. It took a long time for our orders to be taken, and we spent the good part of 40 minutes for our mains to come out. To add insult to injury, the table beside us had their orders filled promptly and we were seated at the same time. To be fair, when we complained about the service, the manager gave us complimentary tequila shots. Nice gesture, but still. And guess what? Our bill was presented promptly. Why wasn’t I surprised?

Google
Nice ambiance! Customer service was good. Price was somewhat elevated which serves canned beans with side of (rice and beans) which was on the salty side..Great presentation, Drinks are good. Salmon portion size was smaller than expected, definitely need an added side to feel just decent. If your hungry, Overall it was just ok. Wouldn't revisit

Yelp
My employer selected this establishment to cater for us after I recommended it. The rice and beans, guacamole, chicken, etc. was all delicious. Everything was made fresh and hot! The delivery was prompt, and the staff was professional when taking our large order.

Yelp
Went there for a friend's birthday dinner. It was Sunday evening. The place was pretty empty so no wait times then. The I got a well drink, tequila soda, house tequila. was pretty strong, so I enjoyed that. The location is really pretty! Very clean, dimly lit atmosphere. Honestly would make a nice place for a date as well. The food was good. I got the fish tacos at first but I didn't like it. They were very accommodating though, switching me out to the brisket tacos. I like the brisket better. I'm not sure what I didn't like a bout the fish, if it was the sauce or the batter. But the brisket didn't have the same sauce and it worked well. Overall everyone liked their food and I would def go back.

Yelp
So returned armed with my partner in July on a Taco Tuesday. No problems like before, and we even returned around 7 on a weeknight, this time for dinner at a table, of Nopales tacos, watermelon salad, and white sangria (me), steak fajitas (partner), and extra tortillas and flan (both). The waitress was excellent, and it made for a lovely evening. Had such a good time, I tried to exit out of the exit that isn't an exit.

Unicel F.

Yelp
Came here for lunch to enjoy some good food and good vibes and the place did not disappoint! Las Santas offered a "happy hour" menu, but quick tip from my friend - if you like to eat, then order from the regular menu. We ordered coconut shrimp, guacamole, queso fundido con longaniza for the table. I ordered the birria quesadillas for myself. You can see that the portions aren't as big (maybe I just like to eat lol) but what the food lacked in size made up in flavor. My favorite was the coconut shrimp! Highly recommend coming here - but again, come in with already some food in the belly lol

Joy Z.

Yelp
Had a great time here during their happy hour (4-7pm)! They have both regular and frozen margaritas for $10 during happy hour. The margaritas were strong but very tasty. We also ordered tacos for Taco Tuesday, which is $11 for any of the tacos. My favorite was the carne asada - the tortilla is cooked with crisped cheese and topped with a chili crisp oil, which was unexpected but tasted great. We sat in the front of the restaurant that was open to the street. Great vibes!

Samantha D.

Yelp
The best shrimp quesadilla i have ever had in the U.S.!! Las Santas quesadilla's and tacos blow so many places out of the water. The quesadilla's always have a rather generous amount of shrimp (or steak, chicken, etc) and the seasoning pairs perfectly with their unique blend of cheeses. I also always order a side of rice- perfect subtle hint of lime and lemon and goes nicely with quesadilla's or tacos. Cocktails are all great, I recommend getting a margarita and adding one of their flavors. Staff and service are phenomenal.

Yelp
HH REVIEW ONLY: Portions are tiny and prices aren't even that cheap (compared to the amount of food you get). So what exactly is the point of Happy Hour here? Slightly discounted food for already overpriced/mediocre Mexican food. The Frozen Margarita was ok ($12), Sangria was way too sweet ($10), Nachos ($18- added surcharge because we added Steak) were standard nachos and for $18 I'd rather go to Taco Bell, Taquitos ($10) and Empanadas ($10) were also ok but nothing to rave about. We also asked for extra hot sauce and was charged $2 for a teeny tiny amount of this. Will not be returning to Las Santas.

Andre O.

Yelp
Had a great time at Las Santas, had family visiting that wanted Mexican. We loved the nachos it was a good ratio of cheese, onions, salsa to chips. The chips were also very crunch which was great. The margaritas were all very good.

Jonathan L.

Yelp
This place was really good! We had the steak quesadilla which was delish! The birria quesadilla was good! But on the smaller side and also lacking a bit of flavor. The breakfast enchilada was very good! Drinks were yum! The mezcal mojito was definitely my fav! the place was huge and very cute and nice and quiet. It was very rainy so maybe that's why it didn't get going more. There is an option for bottomless brunch which is a cheap option. The service was ok. Slow and not much attention to our table and it was not too busy. But everyone was nice and pleasant. Would come back for sure.

Yelp
Going to a show at Barclays, I made a reservation for 5:30pm on a Monday evening. I saw they had some happy hour prices. Monday's happy hour is 10$ margaritas. The spot is cute. Lots of TVs showing sports etc. The music playing is super loud. I couldn't hear my friend, I also could not hear the server. We ordered frozen margaritas: mine was passion fruit, my friend ordered the guava for the first round. Second round we both ordered a mango. The margaritas were good, strong. It seems theres a base and then they just add the flavoring on top. The passion fruit was super tart. I preferred the mango but both were good. They also were NOT 10$ once we got the bill. They came to 12$ each I believe. Not a huge deal, but they should mention that once you order one with flavors. We both ordered nachos: added shrimp to mine, my friend added chicken. We also both ordered a side of guacamole which is something they don't have on the menu. We were able to order the guacamole and chips; there is a smaller portion for happy hour that cost $11 (versus the $16 for the regular one). We didn't really want the additional chips but it was a good amount of guac for us to add to our nachos. The nachos were delicious. It was a good portion for dinner and I didn't feel hungry or that I needed anything extra. Also, didn't have to pack anything to go. Our server seemed a little new but he did have another employee come over and help us out. She cleared up the guacamole order and explained the non happy hour margaritas. She checked on us a few times as well. I say definitely stop in for margaritas and some food if you're in the area or seeing a show/sporting event at Barclays.

Yelp
Had a great experience at Las Santas, definitely recommend them for delicious Mexican food and great happy hour deals. I got to the restaurant early, so I had a beer at the bar to kill some time. As of December 2022, happy hour ran from 4-7pm on weeknights, and coronas were $6 per beer. And then Taco Tuesday had another great deal - $10 for three tacos. We tried the carne asada, which were fantastic. Perfect level of spice, and a birria-esque sauce with crispy cheese under the meat. Definitely stole the show. The fish tacos were also great, with guacamole and a zestier flavor to them. Granted, one plate of three tacos may not fill you up, but the food is definitely impressive and the Tuesday deals were a pleasant bonus. Even at full price, I'd come here again!

Nicole B.

Yelp
Came here for taco Tuesday and had a lovely time. I got there early before my friend so I waited at the large bar area in the front. The bartender was very good and he made an awesome margarita. The back was where the table seating is. Nice large space with open kitchen. They has a special for Tuesday so I order the 3 steak tacos with a side of elite. Let me say everything was very tasty, no complaints. I will be back because there are plenty of items on the menu I need to try. The wait staff was fast, polite, helpful and I did not feel rushed. I will be back!!

Yelp
Initial Reaction: We were looking for something good and not far from where we were going. Decided on Mexican and definitely made a great choice. The food: Astonishingly Good. We really didn't expect this place to be so good since we went on a whim. We had a bunch of different dishes. *Yucca Fries - very light and well fried. Loved the spicy Mayo. 5/5 *Coconut Shrimp - Sweet & spicy chilli sauce was awesome on top of the crisply fried shrimp. 5/5 *Pescado Tacos - This was executed well. The flavor profile worked great together. 5/5 *Camarones Tacos - The salsa & melted cheese were good, only thing I can say is the sauces kinda of made the taco a little soggy so it was breaking as you picked it up. 4.5/5 *Oxtail Birria Quesadillas - I really enjoyed it but he said he didn't like it. 4/5 **Tres Leches - We don't usually get desert but everything was such a hit, I figured why not. And again, we were pleasantly surprised! 4.5/5 The drinks: Drinks were good! The service: Bartender was awesome! And spoke highly of the food/chef!

Yelp
I would have loved to have posted a photo with my review, but unfortunately we weren't able to order. TLDR: the service here is nothing short of abysmal. We were seated and waited about 10 minutes before we were able to flag down someone to ask for water for the table. They brought us room temperature water and then left without taking our order. We waited about 15 more minutes but no one came to our table. I would have been more understanding if the restaurant had been packed, but they were completely empty -- they had us and 2 tables and the rest of the seats were empty. We saw several waiters walking around doing nothing and when we tried to wave them down, they just avoided eye contact. We left and were pretty disappointed because the menu for this place looked great and we were excited to try it. I don't recommend this place and I will not be back.

Samantha L.

Yelp
Food gets a 3, but the service was outstanding so I'll say overall 3.5. For my group of five, we all agreed that the food was average and that nothing really wow-ed us. The guacamole and yucca fries tasted just like you'd expect them to. I wasn't a fan of the fried peppers, but the corn off the cob was pretty good with plentiful sauce. My fish tacos were good, but nothing crazy memorable to mention about them. The service was excellent. Our waitress was so welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately, I don't see myself craving to come back especially because it's a little farther from me. But I would be willing to give it a second chance if I was in the area and a friend wanted to check it out!

Yelp
I came here for an early birthday celebration and enjoyed every moment of it! The environment is such a vibe and PERFECT for a date night. Our waitress was really sweet. On to the food and drinks! Drinks : Cosmorita and Piña Coloda. Both were amazing! We ended our night with 4 frozen mango margaritas which were also amazing. The drinks are strong and definitely worth it! Food: -THE SHRIMP FAJITA....freaking delicious. The shrimp were so big and seasoned extremely well. The presentation was also very nice! -Steak fajita was tasty. It has fried cheese which we loved ! -my friend had the fish tacos which she said were okay. -Caesar salad: SUPER fresh. I really enjoyed the croutons too. -chicken quesadilla: I ordered one to go because I just had to try it! Lol and it was very tasty Since we were celebrating my birthday my friend asked them to sing and bring a candle. Our waiter gave the idea of bringing a candle with my frozen Margarita since I didn't want a dessert. Overall I can definitely see myself returning here! The ambience was so relaxing and we never felt rushed at any point. It also wasn't a busy night so it worked out well.

Carolyn W.

Yelp
I had an OK experience at Las Santas when I came for a Saturday night dinner a few weeks ago. We were craving tacos and margaritas while in the area, so decided to stop by Las Santas for dinner. We sat inside and it was not too busy. Our server was friendly and attentive - no complaints there. The food is where disappointment sank in. One of my friends got the Carne Asada con Queso tacos, and the steak tasted burnt and overly salty. The Pescado tacos I had were just fine - it was nothing remarkable for a $16 taco dish. The classic Margarita was decent and fresh, which I enjoyed. I don't think I'll be coming back here unfortunately.

Mei H.

Yelp
Came here with a group of colleagues for lunch during workday at around 12pm. We made a reservation however it was empty at 12pm. I got here earlier but the staff was friendly and let us in before business hours. Interior design was pretty pretty and classy. This was my second time here, last time I came here for dinner and I had a great impression. Came here again and ordered the oxtail quesadillas. The meat was soft, juicy and not over cooked. They marinated pretty well. However, didn't know the serving size was this small, only two small pieces compared to other regular quesadillas. I wasn't full after the two small pieces, wish they indicated how small/how many pieces the order came with on the menu so I could order more next time. However, I recommend this restaurant!

Natalie P.

Yelp
Food is always great here, I had the chilaqueles for brunch and we had the unlimited mimosa option. The chilaquiles were really good, I just wish there was a little more steak in there but that could just be me being greedy--bc overall it was a nice portion. The service was great and the ambiance was nice but it was dimly lit, so that threw me off and I wanted to take a nap at the end lol. When we left it was still so bright out so the dim inside threw me way off. It was a great brunch though, everyone was very friendly and will definitely be back! Only thing I can say is that I wish there were a couple more brunch options.

Nicole O.

Yelp
As of 12/29/23, there seems to be a new restaurant at that location. Grateful and appreciate the times I visited. It was pleasant and I felt welcomed (with the previously mentioned manager)

Sasha B.

Yelp
Las Santa's can take all my coins A new addition to the Forte Green area, this is the Mexican restaurant I hat gives you resort in Mexico vibes. Ambiance: the space is huge but with a warm and cozy feel that's to the well curated curved seating spaces that allow you to feel cozy to those sitting with. The space serves a deeply tropical feel with lots of lush plants and greenery. The lighting isn't abrasive and the music isn't over powering. Careful control does it. Space: the venue is huge. You enter off the street with outdoor seating right off the sidewalk (without feeling dangerous) and flows seamlessly into the bar which wraps around and easily seats about 10. Screens allow for tv watching making it ideal for sports fans without the obtrusive sports bar feel. There is a front and back dining room separated by beautiful decor and more lush plants. Food : last but certainly not least are the dishes. This is why you're here. Every single dish I've had has not disappointed. On my first visit for brunch I had juevos rancheros. I damn dear licked my plate. Second visit I started off with guac and chips. This is not your average Chipotle guac and chips. This is top tier like make you want to slap your mama good. Next, I had the fish tacos. Baby, when I tell you they were a chefs kiss. I'm talking they snatched the fish from the ocean, seasoned it with love and made these tacos. It came with an order of (3) for $16. Sis ate one and had to tap out. You know it took the other two to go. Drinks: my drink which was a pineapple Fresca was nothing special nor was the Red or white Sangria. When the red failed me, I sent tor tor the white. Even more uneventful. Drinks def was not giving what they were supposed to. I had no room for desert but I'll def be back for that. Overall: go for the food. It won't miss and is worth every penny. P.S. the executive chef is also fine as heck. Good food + eye candy = win win

Yelp
Grabbed dinner with my friend Heidi after being in the live audience at BAM for the Jimmy Kimmel show earlier this week. Ate outdoors at Las Santas in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, not far from the Barclay Center. Think of this 2 year old restaurant as modern upscale Mexican. They've got indoor and outdoor dining. Outdoor, we did open air, but they've got the entire bar area opened up on nice days so you can get HVAC and plenty of ventilation. Had the best chicken mole I've ever had. Came with a whole avocado, rice, and beans. Unusually sweet for mole. Very large portion. Ordered am alcoholic spicy drink with tamarind. So tasty! Staff full of smiles and very attentive. We enjoyed it and can't wait to go back. I've been here 3x.

Lakisha A.

Yelp
When my friend recommended this place for Cinco de Mayo, I don't realize I had just been here. I forgot the pictures of the fish tacos, coconut shrimp and quesadillas. Once again, they did not disappoint!

Jeannine M.

Yelp
We had a great server! The margaritas were good and the ceviche was excellent and fresh.

Elisha B.

Yelp
Visiting from out of town for a work trip. This spot was walking distance of Ace Hotel Brooklyn. We went on Taco Tuesday and it was a delicious treat. We made reservations and had some flight delays. They were kind enough to push it back 30 minutes for us. We had team members from Canada and different parts of the US coming in. The waiter was super fast, the food was amazing and hot when it came out. You could tell their food runners were paying attention to what was coming to the window. The Sangria is really good as well. We had a great table outside. Plenty of people out on the patio. My only complaint is they were too pet friendly. I am used to dogs not be able to walk around the patio on their leash. They let them walk on the leash here, so we had two different dogs at our feet while eating. But overall really great and would recommend and will go back when in town!

Diane D.

Yelp
Great margaritas. Very good chips and guacamole. Try the steak-very good, served with a fresh tomato salad. The chicken enchiladas and quesadillas were delicious as well. Service was good. Food came out very quickly. Ambiance was average-good. Would definitely return.

Christine H.

Yelp
Great place by Fort Greene Good and friendly service Outdoor and indoor seating available Spacious and well decorated Tropical inspired decor Date night ambiance or drinks with a friend too Open kitchen concept Taco Tuesday specials Delicious crispy fish tacos and yucca fries Good portions for the price Yummy churros Drinks could be better. I felt like the margaritas were too tart had to ask for simple syrup on both my orders. Needs to be more balanced in flavor Would definitely recommend if you are in Brooklyn Parking is definitely better after 6pm

Chelsea A.

Yelp
Was pleasantly surprised how great everything was! We came on a Thursday night and it was super chill and calm. Luckily we came in time for our happy hour where we got sangria and two apps (the shrimp and crab empanadas and the guac) Both very good, but wish we got a bit more chips with the guacamole. For dinner, we both got the birria quesadilla and while smaller than a normal quesadilla (which our waitress did give us the heads up about) it was still very flavorful and filling. Some of the best birria I've had recently. I also got a side of the corn off the cob which was soooo good! Love when it's in a bowl vs having to eat off the cob. Overall great food, everything came out in a timely manner, kind waitress. Would love to come back for brunch or taco Tuesdays.

Maxine C.

Yelp
Myself and some friends were looking for a quick bite in the area and we came across La Santa's the outdoor dinning and ambiance instantly caught our interest and I'm glad we stopped by. We were able to take advantage of the Tuesday promo they were having for tacos, in which we tried the chicken, shrimp and fish tacos. The tacos were flavorful but small and the drinks were also pretty good. Will visit again to check out the other menu items.

Harley S.

Yelp
Before the pandemic, Las Santas served one of the best roasted whole fish anywhere. Now they've trimmed back the menu to a simpler selection of tacos, fajitas, quesadillas and enchiladas. It's a shame, but the food is still good, the drinks are still strong, and the atmosphere is still great. Among the mini tacos plates, avoid the pedestrian fried fish tacos on flour tortillas and opt instead for the rich carnitas or mushroom (yes, mushroom) tacos that are much more interesting, flavorful, rich and filling. The outdoor seating is a big bonus here. This isn't just sone benches on the street like so many NY restaurants added during the pandemic. The Las Santas bar opens to an expanded outdoor seating area with real tables and chairs, so you can be at the bar and still be outside.

Katie N.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! Went with a friend two weeks ago. They have deals on drinks everyday. Will be back!

Alisha C.

Yelp
This was my second time coming to this restaurant and it was just as delicious as the 1st time. My friend and I shared and enjoyed the pork, steak and fish tacos with a side of fresh chips and guacamole. I'm a sucker for frozen drinks so I ordered the Prickly Pear frozen margarita and it was delicious while my friend ordered the Rompe Corazon which he enjoyed. I definitely recommend giving this restaurant a go. The atmosphere and vibes are nice trust me you'll enjoy it.

Maliyka M.

Yelp
First time here but it won't be my last time here. While the guac was okay, I loved my burrito bowl and the way they made the sweet plantains. The sorrel and pineapple Fresca was tasty. Not to sweet but could have been a tad bit sweeter. We sat outside but there is indoor seating. Our waitress was such a sweetheart. Very attentive to the table. I had my little and she was thoughtful when it came to letting me know something would be spicy. I want to try their brunch. They have French toast. They also had an oxtail quesadilla. I didn't taste but I heard it was good.

Justin W.

Yelp
Hotel restaurant with beautiful decor and kind staff. Looks like they have a great happy hour, must be seated at the bar for that. The drink menu is huge and they have a variety of tacos and some apps. The food and drinks were nowhere authentic. The flavors were not there, did not hit the spot. Tasted bland for the most part. The tacos themselves felt like soft tissue paper and easily fell apart. We got the carne asada, Al pastor and mushroom tacos. 3 come in an order. Out of the 3, skip the Al pastor if you'd like to try this place out. And this is not to say it's completely bad it's just not authentic and that's okay for some folks! Ambiance is lovely!

Mackenna F.

Yelp
Service at this place is incredible, the Bartender I think his name was Angel was so attentive and full of recommendations that matched our palettes to perfection. If you're ever in Brooklyn this place is a must! The Oxtail Quesadillas are out of this world. The street views from the bar are also a 10/10. Will be returning!

Arielle D.

Yelp
If I had to describe the food at Las Santas in two words, it would be basic and underwhelming. I was hoping the dishes would be more authentic and flavorful. The dishes seemed to be more of an American-Mexican fusion. Don't get me wrong the food wasn't horrible it just wasn't anything to rave about so I was a bit disappointed. Usually when you go to brunch on an empty stomach everything is good lol -- that wasn't my experience. I ordered the skirt steak tacos and chicken nachos, the food was presented well and the service was really good. I enjoyed the ambiance and cocktails. The Hibiscus and Grapefruit spritzers were delightful. I would definitely visit again for cocktails, definitely not for the food. I like the fact that the bar is separate from the restaurant and the music is pretty good. Looking forward to visiting for happy hour.

Carol L.

Yelp
Delicious food at pretty high prices TBH. The upside is that the interior is beautiful (especially the "outdoor" indoor patio outside the restaurant, and no one else was inside the restaurant the entire time we were there... (we ate at 5 pm on a Friday evening)... The cocktails were strong, which was a plus. They did forget one of our items (an app), however they caught the error themselves and asked if we still wanted it served prior to removing it from our check, which was gracious of them. Overall, probably won't be back, but a solid choice in the Fulton St area.

Santiago C.

Yelp
It's very rare I go back to a restaurant after ripping out its carcasses and picking at my teeth with the bones (I don't take pride in this, but I had to be honest). I have seen some of my friends posting more about this place and since 2021, I can still remember that sad excuse of a quesadilla that was brought to my table, but the past is the past. I want to talk about the future, what used to look like a dull ambiance has now been transformed in to a romantic/ambivalent setting. Where you can feel the warmth of dining with friends and family. I believe Jay was the new managers name (I hope I got that right), he was very warm and gracious, the staff was friendly and welcoming. I felt like I was in a scene of punk'd where I expected the food to take me down memory lane, end up pissed off and walk away dissatisfied. To my surprise, every single meal was exquisite. The dishes had a perfect balance of flavor and texture. I asked for my steak Medium and it was cooked to perfection. The salad of avocado and tomatos blended with the yucca fries was just what the doctor ordered. I tried every dish and what stood out the most to me was the delicious cornbread paired with the ribs... UFFFF. Here are some images that will last longer in your head, if you are on Fulton, you have to try it. The flavors are innovative, very different from my last visit. My only suggestion here is to give that slaw that comes with the ribs a little more flavor or spice. Something is missing there, otherwise, I will be back because this place really dazzled. I'm proud of your growth, my family really loved the food.

Yelp
We've been to Las Santas twice now, and won't go back. The first time we went we thought it was good but way too expensive. You normally expect Mexican food to be a value, but $37 for steak skirt fajitas is way too much. We went back because we were close by on a cold night. I had a chicken quesadilla for $24 and my wife had shrimp quesadilla for $26. Both were good, but not great. I've had much better for less money. But what really soured us was when we we asked for chips and salsa before the entrees. Most Mexican restaurants bring those out for free - right? Not in this case - it was TEN DOLLARS. My bad I suppose for not asking. Worse yet, the chips tasted like they came from the grocery store (at best) and the salsa wasn't very good. Again this restaurant isn't terrible, but it is way overpriced and there are many better choices close by.

Yelp
Came for brunch with a friend and there's a brunch menu but their dinner menu is available all day which is why I got fish tacos! I also appreciate their mocktails selection which had actual pineapple fruit in the drink. Overall, it was great enjoying the food and their outdoor space is great!!

Yelp
It's hard for me to rate this place, because I'd probably be happier if I went with a different entree. I had the "mole de oaxaca" enchiladas. The mole sauce was so smoky and there was so much of it that it completely overwhelmed the dish. I found it hard to eat. The drinks & ambiance were great as was the service. I heard the fajitas were good. I'd give this place another try.

Yelp
Stopped here while visiting BK for work. This food was a happy ending to a very long day. It's a very intimate restaurant but it easily accommodated our large group of 15. My recommendations: -Guac -Steak tacos -Queso -Churros -Mezcalita cocktail. BEST margarita I've ever had.

Yelp
Anna is amazing! We've been there many times, but Anna made this visit special! Her professionalism and kind and lighthearted interaction while making sure we had everything we needed was the very reason we wanted to be there, stay there and return. If you don't believe me, come see for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Made a trip over here on a sunny Saturday afternoon to take advantage of the outdoor seating and favorable brunch menu. Most of the crowd was outside when we arrived, however they were still able to sit us both without any wait. Their current brunch deal is a 30% discount on drinks when ordering an entrée. Decided on the Bloody Mary ($9 with the offer) to go along with a plate of Huevos Rancheros ($17). Drink arrives first - not as strong as I would have liked but there is the spicy kick that helped when the meal arrived. Huevos rancheros is a stacked offering of crispy tortilla, marinated pork, another crispy tortilla, bean puree, and sunny side up eggs in that order. Aside from being messy to eat, the flavor combination is great, especially with the pork tenders. Went well with my drink as no extra hot sauce was necessary. Service started off particularly slow, then picked up when ordering the food. Only the brunch menu was available during the daytime, so would like to try their larger offerings for dinner.

Yelp
Fun ambiance, great service, and delicious drinks! The food was just ok. The carne asada tacos were very cheesy but the steak was overcooked. The mole sauce was overwhelmingly smokey.

Yelp
I just came to Las Santas on Saturday after reading some good reviews. I was NOT disappointed. This place is awesome! Situated on Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn, it's crazy easy to get to. It's a few blocks away from the Dekalb train station where several trains stop. There are also tons of bus routes right on Fulton that leave you within a block of the restaurant. The space is pretty big. Right on the corner. They have plenty of outdoor seating. The bar is also halfway in/out. On a beautiful day, you can have such a good experience eating outside. We chose to eat inside. It's so clean, pretty and designed well. Everything is crisp and modern. With Mexican aesthetics throughout. Well had reservations, but we probably didn't need them. We started off with the unlimited Mimosa's for brunch which is $27 per person and the whole table has to participate. They didn't skimp on the Prosecco. It was strong! They brought the carafe to our table and the waitress kept coming over to fill our glasses up when they were almost empty. Very on top of that. For starters we had the Guacamole. Let me say that I've had guacamole from hundreds of different places. Some terrible. Some good. Some great. The guacamole from Las Santas was the BEST guacamole that I've EVER had. Oh my gosh, it was so freaking good. I don't know what they do to it but it's perfectly made and seasoned. You get a pretty big bowl of it too for the price! The chips weren't greasy and not overly salted. Just perfection. I had the Steak and Eggs for $26. It's kind of not much for $26 but it was absolutely delicious. 2 sunny side up eggs(they ask if that's okay so I'm assuming you can change the egg style), yucca fries with tender and yummy adobo marinated steak on top with a chimichurri sauce and avocado also. Everything went together so well and complimented each other. For me, it was the perfect brunch meal! Towards the bathroom you'll find a little corner that is made for taking pictures. Perfect for group or solo shots on Instagram or whatever the young folks use now. They have 3 single, gender neutral bathrooms that are spotless and well stocked. Service was so friendly, attentive and welcoming. We left feeling full, satisfied and looking forward to our next trip to Las Santas.

Yelp
Ambiance was chefs kiss, the food was ehhhhh. One word flavorless. With this intimate, rich setting I was hoping to receive the same warmth as I walked in with my cuisine. Unfortunately that wasn't the case, though presentation was nice the food was pretty cold on Taco Tuesday and lacked the umami and spice I love from Mexican cuisine. I'm not sure if it was a bad day. I'll give it more shot but it for certain is not my go to for Mexican. On the upside drinks were an A++

Yelp
Very spacious and hip place, fitting for a date night. We started out with camarones al pastor. Their tacos came in sets of three. Shrimp marinated with adobo, smoked bacon and roasted pineapple. Great appetizer! The star of the show was their fajita. We went for the combo dish made of New York strip steak and grilled shrimp. It came sizzling on a bed of grilled onions and peppers. Also arrived with a rice and beans, 4 soft flour tortillas (to build your own taco). Side plate with sauces included guacamole, salsa verde, pico de gallo, and peanut oro negro sauce. Really enjoyed the steak which was soft and flavorful. In retrospect, we could have done without the shrimp since we already had it as an appetizer. Definitely a lot of portions. Took home for lunch the next day.

Yelp
Really delicious Mexican spot. Check in on Yelp for a complimentary drink. Bowl was really good. Not overwhelming heat but delicious flavors. They have a hot sauce which had a smokey chipotle flavor. I really enjoyed it. Nachos were really good (got the happy hour portion. Which was the perfect size for 2.) And the tres leches was really unique. The cream felt different to me. I wasn't used to it. But I really liked it. The margarita was very pretty and a great addition to the meal. Service was prompt and polite. Great spot.
