The 15 Best Spanish Restaurants In Miami - Miami - The Infatuation

"A good rule for ordering from Rosa's gigantic Spanish menu is: if it’s stewy or saucy, it’s delicious. The Little Havana restaurant is a bit deceiving. The entrance looks like a small market, but there are two dining rooms past the wall of tinned fish where you can sit and eat oxtail stew. That’s our favorite dish here. The meat is covered in a thick red wine sauce and surrounded by salty potatoes. But if you're a fan of tripe, order the callos a la madrileña. Pieces of tripe you barely have to chew mingle with bits of sausage in a hearty stew you can soak up with free bread. This food makes us wish Miami was colder." - virginia otazo, mariana trabanino, ryan pfeffer

Google
When you enter this restaurant Jose & Paco welcomes you in a very authentic Spanish style. But to be honest, if you are looking for the best Dubai Chocolate Cake in Miami this is the real one, the big deal!!! An amazing soft intense chocolate cake filled with chocolate cream and pistachio cream. The best of the best. For the rest, be yourself the judge: incredible paella, huevos estrellados, pincho de tortilla, lamb, and the best Sangria ever. This wonderful restaurant has 2 dining areas, including a formal one. I think this place is perfect for corporate events and parties. Their authentic Spanish gastronomy with a real taste is unique. Their wine market is also very well organized with great offers and a good selection of wines from all over Spain. The service and atmosphere are perfect. Let me insist: this is the home of the best Dubai Chocolate Cake, you can't miss it. You won't find it anywhere else. Bring your family and friends and enjoy a wonderful journey

If you want to feel like you’re in Spain, this is the place to be! I didn’t have high expectations, but as soon as I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and their excellent selection of Spanish wines. We ordered Sangria and gambas for appetizers, and their freshly baked hot bread was amazing—especially when dipped in the garlic oil from the gambas. We instantly fell in love with this place. I highly recommend it!

Google
Great experience and the food was amazing. Paco was very good with his service. This is a hidden gem in Miami. Definitely coming back for more.

Alejandro Barreda

Google
We came for a mid week dinner with a couple of friends and found this Spanish gem next to Brickell. The food was really good by itself and even more in relationship to the price, the service was really friendly and the atmosphere good enough to catch up, relax, and just enjoy the dinner. We'll definitely come back!

Google
Always available to help you explore a place with Spanish atmosphere and cuisine in a corner of Miami. 💯 Fantastic staff (Paco and José)

Google
I don’t know if i'll leave my comment in English or Spanish, the fact is, this is the most authentic Spanish restaurant that I met In Miami until today. Excellent choice to have a bottle of wine, btw very good price, you can have a Rioja Federico Paternina for 30 dollars. Amazing tapas selection. Try shrimp in garlic oil, octopus a la gallega, chistorra in red wine. The paella looks good as well. This is a hidden place in litter Havana with a very good prices and very good food quality.

Google
Seems like a hole in the wall, but the food is incredible. Classic Spanish dishes, great place for paella. Perfectly cooked octopus and great Spanish wine selection (sangria is pretty great, too). Absolutely stop by here at all cost 😀.

Elena Baldanova

Google
We found this place by chance and felt so fortunate. All the dishes were absolutely scrumptious, and what a wonderful selection of wines! Our server Monica was fabulous:)

Yelp
The place is very cool, they have a great vibe. Servers were very helpful and friendly, they were fast in the beginning, but after serving, they took very long for the to go I ordered in the beginning and to bring the check, but they are really friendly, do not worry about it! Sangria was just ok. Bread was warm and crispy. Tortilla espanola very good. The croquetes were delicious (bacalao, ham, and cheese). The oxtail was very good. The small fishes with fried eggs on top, was good, the idea is nice, but very oily.

Yelp
WHAT ON EARTH HAPPENED TO THIS ONCE GREAT SPOT. I will get right to the point!!! The prices at Las Tapas de Rosa have almost tripled in under three years. When they reopened during Covid, a lentil soup was $5 a serving. Today, that same soup is $14. Not to mention all the other outlandish price hikes!! If Rosa is a real person and still around, I don't think she is very happy! NEVER AGAIN!!!! MY PARTY SAT DOWN AND IMMEDIATELY WALKED OUT
google avatar

Yelp
One word say it all, WOW! What an absolute and amazing surprise especially from such an unassuming location. You walk in and your in Spain. Then you glance at the wine selection and you're immediately taken by the wonderful variety and selection. Then you proceed to the actual meal and prepare yourself to be transported to a small village outside of Cordoba or Granada because the food is spectacular. What an absolutely wonderful meal. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Roberto V.

Yelp
Always wonder why this place is not always super full Food is great, service is very good and prices are more than fair. It feels like being invited to the Rosa's home in Spain. Rosa sold some time ago but the new owners kept her spirit.

Yelp
Great Spanish Tasca style place. Rosa is super friendly!

Leida G.

Yelp
If you're ready to wait for the best food then go. But service is super slow. We were there for late lunch around 4pm and left past 6pm. But again, food is superb!
google avatar

Yelp
Riquísimo!!!! Desde el pan hasta el postre para chaparse los dedos!!! Gambas al ajillo favorito! La atención súper amigable!

Yelp
This restaurant calls for an authentic Spanish restaurant with a mercadito in it. It is divided into three sections, the main entrance, with a selection of products and wine to buy, a second room, where all the fun happens, im guessing...and a third room, a little bit more modern with a bar, they all have very different decorations and vibes, even though they are located inside the same space. When we got there we were sited in the last room, there was no one else there, giving us a sensation of being left inattentive and the feeling of an empty restaurant, it was kind of an unpleasant experience, the other room on the other hand still had a few empty tables left, but we were thrown in there alone lol. They only have two ladies that wait on the tables and do the cashier...least to say service was very very very slow and since they have so many to do they are not the most friendly either. We ordered croquetas, and Entrecot con patatas fritas o verduras a la plancha, the croquetas were good, the Filet came out over cooked, i told the waitress it was almost well done and she argued it was not. This place has potential but for the price they charge there are plenty of other better options than this restaurants.

Yelp
The best Spanish restaurant in Miami. The only Spanish restaurant where I feel like home. It really tastes like Spain in this place. Check the daily specials. As authentic as it can be.

Andre R.

Yelp
Good place to eat and drink wine The paella is good and also the tapas. We enjoy our time there

Yelp
Finding an authentic Spanish restaurant outside Spain, is impossible but in Miami, this place is the closes i have been to it. This is a stables place that has been here for many year and they know what they are doing. I can not pick one particular dish to recommend but i would try the paella and fabada or the Calgo Gallego. Their wine selection is very good and very affordable. So come by and you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Las Tapas de Rosa, what an experience! First don't get intimidated by the location. An unassuming street mall, and the outside doesn't reflect what's inside. A cool and cozy restaurant with just great food, and a super friendly staff. The tortilla with chorizo, the grilled octopus, or the callos a la madrileña were all amazing. This place deserves a second, third, and all visits you want. You won't be disappointed. Kudos to Monica, our waitress. Amazing!
google avatar

Mario V.

Yelp
I came here for lunch and I was left speechless of how amazingly great the food was! We tried rabo, croquetas, morcillas, chistoras, garbanzos with chorizo, ensalada rusa, and crema Catalana to finish it off. This place is a hole in a wall and you'll never guess how incredible and the great taste of the food! I definitely recommend this place to anyone that is a foody.
google avatar

Yelp
Again, I am here at this restaurant. This time, I tried the "Black rice with seafood and calamari ink". They use great quality ingredients and a knowledgeable art cousins chef. The restaurant updated the Spanish wine list. Great wines at prices you will not see anywhere, Why? There are no intermediaries. A great place for family, friends, and business reunions. Buen provecho!
google avatar

Yelp
Really a waste of time and money. I had good expectations about this restaurant and went with my family but all of us came out with disappointing experiences. Service was ok but food was really nothing of what I expected. Will not visot again. Many other Spanish choices in the area

Rafael V.

Yelp
First time here and definitely not the last. Service was exceptional. Very friendly and attentive. The decor is simple and traditional to Spain. I felt as if I was going to receive a home cooked meal and that's exactly what I feel I received. The food was fantastic. We ordered pulpo a la gallega (10/10), chistorra, huevos rotos and gambas al ajillo. For the main course I ordered a solomillo cooked medium and it was cooked to perfection. There is also a small market filled with products imported from Spain at the entrance. I can't wait to go back.
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
A little bit overpriced. I would say that service has a lot of room to improve. Our octopus "A la gallega" was very disappointing... $22.00? It's a big "No, no." The smell inside of the dining room was weird but yet strong... Like the AC filter was dirty. A good point about this restaurant is wine! I had a glass of Ribera del Duero for $7.5 at lunch.
google avatar

Yelp
Last Sunday we decided to try this place that we have been recommended so much. I have delayed the visit since my husband is allergic to seafood and the best of Spanish cuisine is about that, right? I finally convinced him talking about what I saw on the menu through Yelp: the potatoes with alioli sauce, the anchovies with vinegar, stuffed peppers, chistorras, garlic mushrooms, Serrano ham and Manchego, which were indeed spectacular! I really recommend them. In the end I ordered a half portion of paella to not leave without tasting it and I was also delighted with its flavor. This place has a family atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Some dishes seemed a bit expensive, but I think it's all worth it.
google avatar

Michelle L.

Yelp
This was my first time visiting Las Tapas de Rosa. This little unsuspecting restaurant offers amazing food at a very affordable price. I heard great things about it from friends so we had to check it out. The tapas were delicious! This is a must try!

Vanessa F.

Yelp
Literally ever dish was magic. Full of flavor and you could tell it was quality ingredients. Try the cheese-stuffed peppers, you won't regret it. The croquetas were absolutely to die for. Service was top notch and the bathroom facilities pristine. Looking forward to eating here again!

Yelp
Three stars is about right, since my experience is somewhere between the godawful one stars and the "Ole'" 4 and 5 stars. This spot seems to have potential, and maybe I just went on an off night..ojala! I saw a couple of friends bookmark it and when I had to make a delivery in Brickell (legitimate, an engineer with a car multitasking as a courier :) I stopped by. The initial greeting was warm, and I asked for a menu to check out. A couple of dishes caught my eye, and I was seated in the smaller dining area by the entrance (they have a larger area next door.) The Huevos Estrellados (fried eggs, regular fries and a choice of Serrano ham, chorizo or chistorra; I picked Bachelorette #1 - the Serrano) caught my eye and I ordered that along with a manchego plate. My Serrano ham was salty and the eggs runny enough. The manchego had the right firmness and smooth taste. Service was where it loses some stars. When I ordered my creme Brulee, there was a little bit of a wait. The hostess only mentioned that it would take a while because they Brulee it with iron instead of the blowtorch when she saw me on Yelp Mobile writing a review for another spot! Previous experience has been when a dish takes longer to make, the waiter mentions it when you order. Small detail, but I'm picky like that. The crust also wasn't as crispy as I like it.

Yelp
Spectacular authentic Spanish food with the most amazing staff. The food is just prepared with so much love and the presentation is always on point. The staff makes you feel as if your truly family. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner any night of the week

Yelp
google avatar

Yesy C.

Yelp
Fantastic. My boyfriend and I are always looking for Spanish restaurants and this place is a winner!! We've been to almost every single Spanish restaurant in Miami and this one is leading the charts! GREAT GREAT service, thank you Monica! And food was stupendous. The Paella Valenciana was to perfection!
google avatar

Joe B.

Yelp
Excellent food outrageous service and a great selection of wines. We went there many times a month before the Pandemic and twice when they partially re-open and they maintain there same quality. We now order to go for our office most Fridays.
google avatar

Raquel P.

Yelp
What a great place to gather with friends, good background music and ambiance. Monica our server was very pleasant, funny and professional. We arrived at 830pm and unfortunately they were out of Gazpacho and also of Boquerones. We did enjoy drinking Estrella de Galicia and eating a good portion of Ensalada Rusa, just fried Croquetas mixtas de Bacalao, Chorizo, Jamon y Queso and an Entremes of various meats with the best, freshest and most delicious Queso Manchego we have had outside of Spain. We did notice that the prices and selections are different than what the menu online shows so if you are going on a budget double those prices mentioned.
google avatar

Alejandra T.

Yelp
Beautiful low key hole in the wall but very picturesque inside. While table cloths and romantic Spanish music. The restaurant had a cute store inside as well with imported from Spain. Yum.

Leonardo H.

Yelp
This is not a restaurant that you go for the ambiance but it has Good food, good service. However, the food took too long & Im Not happy that they added 18% tip to bill. I'm not saying that they didn't deserve it. But what I tip is my way to show what I thought about the experience. Not cool to choose for me. And then, they asked for additional tipping on the bill. Really? Tipping is getting out of hand at most food places.

Yelp
Departing Miami, I needed to reach one of the goals that was to eat paella since that is not an easy to prepare dish or easily available in Texas. Searching I found this location and the pictures screamed Spain and home cooking. The location is found in a tiny strip mall with hardly any parking. If you're driving a big vehicle it's going to be challenging. As you enter, you walk into a deli counter walkway. The establishment has 2 main seating sections one that has a traditional aura and the next formal seating. Our server was nice and explained the menu. We received complimentary bread and cheese. The boys had basic chicken and potatoes. Wife and I ordered paella for 2 mixed seafood and chicken. The one problem is that paella is made from scratch so expect 50 minutes for it to be served. In the meantime we ate the chorizo appetizer. The final product arrived and the ambrosia from the cooking gods hit the table. The true intertwined flavors explode on your mouth. The fresh sea food taste was present yet not overwhelming to cancel the seasoned chicken. This place is highly recommend and a plus if you appreciate this plate. This is not an inexpensive dish at $20 per person so it was close to $90 yet well worth each bite.

Yelp
I am so happy to have discovered this Spanish restaurant. The owner is from Madrid and you can clearly made the difference with the so-called Spanish restaurant of Miami. The waitress was extremely nice The tapas were excellent, especially the anchovies, the octopus and the calamari ! Cannot wait to go back!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I drove by Las Tapas de Rosa on our way to La Baguette and chose to give them a try instead since we were in the mood to re-live some of our culinary encounters with Spanish food while in Spain. My boyfriend ordered the bocadillo paco and we also ordered patatas bravas and croquetas de jamón y pollo. Ever since our most recent trip to Spain throughout which we had patatas bravas many, many times, we've become devout fans of the dish. There's just something about crispy french fries with savory and spicy sauce dripping all over them. Unfortunately, the patatas bravas at Las Tapas de Rosa were unlike any patatas bravas we'd ever had. These were mushy and undercooked, and the sauce was a gross vomit color that tasted nothing like what it's supposed to taste like. I don't cook and even I could have churned out a better version. These folks should be ashamed for even daring to call that dish patatas bravas. I couldn't believe how bad it was. Sadly, the croquetas weren't much better. They were tasteless. What's the point of eating fried stuff sans the yummy flavor that's supposed to accompany it. I would have preferred Publix croquetas over these any day. My boyfriend said his sandwich "wasn't bad," but with prices like Rosa's and with La Baguette right next door, "not bad" just isn't good enough. Although he did finish his sandwich, the "patatas bravas" and croquetas ended up in the garbage. While looking at the menu before we ordering, we'd decided that the food was pricey but as always we were willing to pay for good food. However, the pricey food ended up in the garbage; therefore, it really isn't worth the price or the calories. I will not EVER even THINK about going back to this place, and wouldn't wish such a bad experience on anyone.

Matt B.

Yelp
If you go here, you definitely need to get the Pata Negra/jamon iberica. It's very good and at a good price. The bread was also exceptional (the baguette that is). Like the best of restaurants, Rosa runs this herself and she is as capable a host as she is as a chef. Keep on doing what you do!
google avatar

Yelp
My family and I dine here often. It's one of our favs for home-style Spanish food. One of my favorite dishes is the Huevos Estrellados but truly I have never had a bad meal here. Good food, the service is professional but friendly and the restaurant is cozy and welcoming. They have a nice selection of moderately priced Spanish wines and the house wines are good as well. A lot of the clientele is from Spain so you know it's good and authentic!
google avatar

Stephany R.

Yelp
Bravo! Delicious authentic Spanish food. Highly recommended to people who simply want to sit down and enjoy good Spanish grub with a nice glass of wine.
google avatar

Jordan N.

Yelp
I've only been here once, but from what I've had - tortilla and sausage, as well as sangria, they were all good. I'll have to come back to update my review with more details. There's a small Spanish market on site, and it is a nice, well-kept tapas restaurant managed by Rosa Rodriguez, a woman from Madrid. They have ensalada rusa, seafood-mix plate, croquetas, fried chick peas, peppers, sandwiches, soups and more of the traditional Madrileno-styled tapas.

Neo C.

Yelp
Wow! Amazing place. Staff was phenomenal. Very low key great atmosphere. The food was authentic and served fresh.
google avatar

Alice I.

Yelp
This hole in the wall is a treasure!!! Real authentic Spanish cuisine in a lovely setting. This gem made me feel at home. The service was great and the food was phenomenal! I highly recommend: - Crema de queso cabrales (Cream of cabrales cheese) - Ensaladilla Rusa (Potato salad with vegetables, tuna & mayo) It tasted just like my mother's! - And the HUEVOS ESTRELLADOS acompañado de chorizo (2 fried eggs over french fries, accompanied by chorizo sausage). The fries are homemade and perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and tasty on the inside. The food truly reflects the owner's passion for cooking.

Omar S.

Yelp
As usual. The best Spanish restaurant in Florida. Rosa and her daughter had found the perfect way to transplant a piece of Madrid to Pequeña Havana. The only thing missing would be a bar top serving Mahou on tap and some fellow playing mus. Food is authentic and delicious, wine is fair priced. We had cod croquetas which were average, tuna stuffed piquillo peppers: delicious and pulpo a la gallega (galician octopus), great too. Gulped down with a fine Albariño wine. The ladies had Roscon de Reyes and crema catalana for dessert. They said it was top notch. Will be back for sure!
google avatar

Ramiro R.

Yelp
Quality vs price and ambient, one of the best Spanish restaurant in Miami. Get there early or the kitchen and service get slow..

bernat m.

Yelp
The food and service here is amazing. Authentic Spanish tapas with a great atmosphere.
google avatar

Myriam L.

Yelp
Riquísimo!! First visit of many! Try the croquetas, patatas bravas, gambas al ajillo and pretty much anything on the menu! Service is great and food superb!!

Ricardo V.

Yelp
I am from Spain and I can say that this restaurant is The best Spanish Restaurant in Miami I have eaten in. The food tastes like authentic Spanish food, most Spanish Restaurants in Miami taste like Latin American Food. Congrats to the owners that keeps this place authentic. You can buy Nocilla and Cola Cao in the small shop! Very friendly!
google avatar

Manuel C.

Yelp
This is a legit place. Amazing taste, definitely felt like visiting Spain. The cheese and chorizo are amazing. All croquetas are great as well. Definitely a great place to enjoy some real tapas.
google avatar

Yelp
great restraunt. the serving lady is very kind. Paella is very salty though. probably its always like this

Facundo B.

Yelp
After 1 year of not going to Las Tapas De Rosa, I still affirm that by far it is still the restaurant that perfectly reflects Spanish homemade food. everything tastes delicious, fresh. It is a place where you can see the cleanliness in every corner. They have a very good and inexpensive wine list. Wines that somewhere can charge $ 120, such as Valduero Reserva, here they sell just a little more than half. SUPER RECOMMENDED

Kaylan G.

Yelp
Authentic Spanish tapas experience! I used to live in Spain and I almost teared up at how perfect the place was. We were told the restaurant was changing hands but they were planning to keep it very similar in the future. I'd recommend the pulpo a la gallega but to be honest, everything looked almost exactly as it did in Spain so you can't go wrong if you know what you like. ¡Olé las Tapas de Rosa! Wish we lived in Miami because if so, I'd be a frequent customer.

Yelp
I LOVE this place. It's a family affair. On Saturday night, a kid (grandson?) was at a front table when we arrived, watching a video on a tablet, being served a meal by a waitress who admonished him (in Spanish) to say thank you when he didn't on his own. The food makes you feel like you're in Spain, and the prices are great. I had chorizo cold (a LOT of slices), pimientos relleno (stuffed peppers with a great sauce) and garlic shrimp (like five or six of them). DC had gazpacho, a tortilla with onions and a creamed cheese spread (hot) with bread. Glasses of wine were generous pours for $6.95 each. Whole meal was $65.70 with tip. Every time we go there I think we should come more often. Only reason we don't is that it's something of a drive from our place, but any time we're in the area, this is our No. 1 restaurant.

Isabella E.

Yelp
Delicious food and nice ambiance. I gave them 4 stars because they need to put some work on the service. Our server was nice and polite but took too long to take our order and payment. The gambas and the pimientos de piquillo are incredible tasty and delicious, the fried calamari were just ok. Will be definitely going back.

Julia D.

Yelp
Best Spanish food in town! High quality, home made amazing tapas. Great customer service and consistency. A must go!
