How to Watch the Race, Dine With Celebrities, and Blow a Lot of Money During Formula One | Eater Vegas

"Sit trackside in general grandstand seating to hear the engines and watch cars blast down the Koval Straightaway while enjoying stadium-style catering that ranges from a farro Mediterranean bowl and mushroom tinga tacos to fried chicken, pressed burgers and an apple pie taquito drizzled with maple caramel sauce." - Ryan Slattery

The Las Vegas Strip circuit for Formula 1 Grand Prix is a thrilling experience for F1 enthusiasts. We attended the 2025 Las Vegas GP practice and qualifying sessions from the Heineken pavilion which is within walking distance from Horseshoe monorail station. It's important to note that most major sites around the circuit like the MGM, Planet Hollywood or Caesar Palace have entry blocked for pedestrian and cars during the race so taking monorail is a good option. Beer (including alcohol-free version) and water were complimentary at the Heineken pavilion as well a variety of food options were offered. Outside the grandstands there are many activities typical with F1 and warming up towers as it can get cold in November when the event takes place. In 2025 rain during qualifying caused a thrilling experience but also challenging for both drivers and attendees so please be prepared with ponchos and warm clothing as umbrellas are not allowed. All in all, this event is highly recommended for a thrilling experience of night racing on the iconic Vegas strip, one of the fastest circuits in F1!!

The experience is nothing short of amazing. The best incentive is the free race assimilation to start things off. The VIP experience package provides what seemed like 10 rooms that took you through a journey. I was able to make you get to enter the Formula 1 Hall of Fame with Trophy’s, uniforms and more. I took my niece and nephew, whom are big fans and in one room they were able to change out a real tire like the pit crew does. They time you 3x and we were able to get it down to 10 seconds(real time is 2 seconds). We were also able to design our own Formula 1 car. There’s a theater they sit you in where the chairs move like you’re the driver. If you pay a little extra you can race in a Kart experience! It was exhilarating! We also got to meet someone named Ben who was very nice and accommodating. Very awesome, I recommend it for every fan.

F1 ruins the Vegas experience. Not smart to host on the Vegas strip terrible management decision. Vegas Hotels on the strip will lose millions of tourists. My wife and I came during the end of the F1 and it was still disturbing the strip with the construction and road closures.

Ok the fan zone viewing experience is awful - the Caesar’s specifically. You basically get to stand in a parking lot and watch the race on a tv. Ticketmaster scams you be not telling you it’s general admission it shows seats and rows but the only seating is on a curb or wall. You get a maybe 40ft section of the track you can see but because or the barriers on the track you see the rear wing and that’s it. Awful over priced a few bar tables that people camp at the whole time what a disgrace and disappointment from F1 to even list this donky on their website

was lucky enough to check out the new F1 Experience in Las Vegas, and it was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, the whole setup is polished, high-energy, and really gives you a taste of the Formula 1 world. 🚦🏎️💨 The interactive elements are so well done—you can actually feel like part of the pit crew, test your reflexes, and even get up close with some really impressive displays. It’s not just a quick walk-through; you actually learn, engage, and leave with that “wow” factor. Whether you’re a racing fan or just want a unique Vegas experience, I definitely recommend it. It’s exciting, modern, and one of those attractions that makes you feel like you’re part of something special.

Definitely the most boring F1 race on the circuit. I have attended the event since it started 3 years years ago and the race itself is disappointing as the track is poorly designed due to the fact that the dummies who now run Las Vegas insist it must be run through the streets on the strip. Miami and Austin are a much better experience. I’m certain F1 Vegas will end in Las Vegas in a couple years. I hope so! It’s embarrassing!! Don’t waste your money on F1 Vegas.

Vegas is a cool area people moving around 24/7it's like a city that never stops.. reminds me of New Orleans. It's just a vibe.
