"If you’re interested in eating a Cuban reuben sandwich with house-smoked corn beef on the outdoor patio at this Jersey City spot, all you have to do is call 201-479-8432 and make a reservation. For now, Latham House opens at 4pm Wednesday through Sunday." - hannah albertine, nikko duren, matt tervooren

"Latham House is serving an abbreviated version of its American menu - with dishes like shrimp and corn cakes, and mac and cheese with four types of cheese - every day until 8:30pm. On weekends, they also offer their brunch menu for delivery and pickup until 4pm." - Matt Tervooren

"If you walk into Latham House and your view of the antler chandelier in the middle of the dining room is obscured by a cloud of smoke, don’t panic. This American spot smokes corn beef in house, and when you bite into the Cuban reuben - a sandwich packed with enough sweet, salty meat for three people to share - you won’t mind that the vent occasionally falls behind. This place is most popular at brunch, but also keep it in mind for Happy Hour drinks, especially because it’s only a few steps from the Grove Street Path station." - Matt Tervooren

"Latham House, a quick walk from the Grove Street PATH station, has generous portions and great homemade desserts. (Try not to stop at the Krispy Kreme first.) Also recommended: the cheeseburger at White Star and the turkey burger and crab cake at Luna." - Annie Fitzsimmons

Ordered takeout from Latham and greatly relished the food options. Each of the three dishes that we ordered (Breakfast Burrito with Tofu, Blueberry Buttermilk Pancakes, and Veggie Burger) were delicious even though some of the items didn't travel well (e.g. the Burrito got soggy and the Fries weren't as good in takeout). We look forward to visiting the restaurant in person and sharing an update!

Been here multiple times. It has outdoor seating as well. My favorite is the Latham house Benedict. I did order salmon Benedict this time and it was equally good. Their ridiculous sandwich is brilliant. Pair it with their spicy Latham bloody spicy Mary. Order a side of bacon and you have your perfect weekend brunch. They do not take reservation and it’s a first come first serve bases. Come early and enjoy the food. They have excellent dinner and lunch menus too with a decent wine and beer collection. It’s good for large groups and the staff is always smiling and helpful. Pictures are from the dinner menu at the end.

They have vegan options! The indoor ambiance during brunch was so nice- the sun shining in definitely got us some insta worthy pics!! Waiter was super knowledgeable on the vegan options which was so nice! We got the vegan breakfast burrito and the vegan burger. The first time they accidentally put cheese on it but after that they brought a new one out. The patty was HUGE i could barely fit a bite in my mouth. Although it was tasty, i’m not sure i necessarily enjoyed how big and dry it was. The fries were crispy and delicious! Vegan burrito sandwich was good, again portion was huge and the roasted potatoes on the side were a nice touch. Their drinks are very strong- great way to have a mimosa!! Dont know if i’ll return as a vegan, but great for a brunch with non vegan friends if you need options!

Delicious ! We had a wonderful dinner on the outside patio. Enjoyed food and friends with work colleagues. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Food & drinks were delicious !! The mother pucker was my favorite. Everyone ordered an assortment of food but I highly recommend the Mac & cheese and the chicken pot pie which was great to look at and even better to eat !!! Also ordered was burgers, steak, meatballs & the Asian chicken salad. We were definitely not disappointed! Wonderful meal & great atmosphere.. close enough to walk to dessert, drinks afterwards

I will gladly come back to try different food. The staffs were friendly and helpful. The place was always full so better to have a reservation. I recommend this place!

Good food and large portions. A little bit on the sweet side though. Got the ridiculous egg sandwich. Messy but tasty. Definitely very heavy for a brunch. My friends got other suggestions like the French toast and the Rabbi’s revenge. Both of very large portions and they didn’t finish. Tasty and filling. The wait was only 20 min though estimated to be half an hour. Good ambiance and service.

Went there for brunch in Christmas eve. Called them and they accommodated us last minute. Yummy brunch options. Coffee, mimosa, hot chocolate for drinks. LH Benedict, Huevos Rancheros, French Toast - everything was yummy. Seating is great and enough sunlight for brunch ambience. Highly recommended for brunch hours.

A good place for Brunch in Jersey city. Ambience and vibe of the restaurant is really good. Omlettes are very dry and thick. Totally loved their French toast and mimosas. Food is expensive as compared to the quantity. Giving 3 stars for food vs price money!
