L'Aubépine

Excellent experience and meal. A great twist on a tasting menu - personalised. Incredibly this seems to be delivered by 2 people ?! It was an unplanned visit and so we didn’t know what to expect. The concept of a slight personalisation of a surprise / tasting menu seemed like a bit of a contrivance at first but in fact it worked really well. In an area with a lot of competition , L’Aubepine really stands out. Only (very) minor issue is that it got quite warm inside on a late July evening, there was no draught to relieve the heat. Don’t let that stop you trying this place out !

A lovely quiet place with an outstandind kitchen and very nice service. All the plates where very interesting, made out of fresh products and well composed. I loved the dessert made of wild beeries, mousse au chocolat and olive oil. Best quality/price ratio!

Manu and Lauriane are the very friendly owners of L'Aubépine. Manu is working as the Chef and always puts consistent high quality gourmet food on the table. Lauriane is working as Maître in the restaurant and is always serving you with a smile. Ask her about the wines that can accompany your food, she can help you out terrifically. Every time we are in the Ardèche region we go to this restaurant for the amazing food at a very good price. I would certainly recommend it.

Un restaurant que nous avions très hâte de testé étant donné qu’il correspond à nos valeurs et nos façons de cuisiner. Une cuisine fraîche et locale était promise, c’était le cas. Merci pour ce délicieux moment, nous nous sommes régalés ! À très bientôt !

En vacances à Aubenas pendant quelques jours avec mon épouse et ma fille de 11 ans. Nous avons vécu une superbe expérience dans le restaurant l'Aubépine. Ça nous a tellement plu que nous y avons mangé 2 fois en 3 jours ! Le restaurant est tenu par un jeune couple aidé d'une personne au service. Accueil chaleureux et sympathique, cuisine raffinée et délicieuse (mention spéciale pour le joli travail sur les légumes) et service super. Les tarifs sont incroyablement doux par rapport à la qualité de l'expérience proposée. Une information qui me tient à cœur : une belle carte des vins qui offre de très jolies références. Nous avons choisi la cuvée Saponaire du domaine Ogereau pour accompagner notre cabillaud. Un régal 🤩 Les prix sur la carte des vins sont très corrects. Nous reviendrons avec un très grand plaisir. Hâte de discuter à nouveau de vins avec le chef 😉
