Highlights

Established in January 2013, LauderAle is a small-batch, electric-fired brewery conveniently nestled in a secluded marine-industrial warehouse district between Port Everglades and Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport. Founded by Fort Lauderdale natives, LauderAle is the first nanobrewery in Southeast Florida. We pride ourselves on cultivating authentic ales centered on local culture and influence. Our beers range in a wide variety of rotating styles from blondes to imperial stouts along with seasonal and special-release beers.

"Generally, nuts to find and nestled somewhere between Port Everglades and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, LauderAle is always worth the adventure. Once you arrive, you’re greeted with 30 rotating taps, rotating food trucks, and weekly events spanning yoga (Sundays) to trivia (Wednesdays)." - Jesse Scott

Google
Beautiful little find not far from the airport where you will find plenty of nice shaded seating areas, great beers, and a great food truck! The chipotle guac was amazing! The torta was delicious! The beer selections were all good and had many different options!

Renee Divine

Google
Sought out LauderAle in the hopes of catching a glimpse of the vervet monkeys that have been known to hang out there. Unfortunately we had no such luck, however enjoyed the laid back tropical ambiance of this fun brewery tucked away near the airport. The La Niña has quite a kick with mango habanero but was probably the favorite. My husband and I were only in town for a few days, but would have returned for one of the upcoming live events. Definitely worth a visit!

Google
Thank you to LauderAle Brewery for a Fabulous 50th birthday! The staff, drinks, and ability to pick my food truck and band made for the most perfect evening!!! Highly recommend and will definitely book again! Thank you, Miranda! Cheers! 🥂

Google
What a gem. Beer made right there. Food trucks outside. I liked the fish sammie. Lyft / Uber recommended but overflow parking exists on the grass and also to the side. Regular parking can fill up quickly during peak times.

After a lot of research and careful consideration we chose LauderAle Brewery for our high school reunion and it was the absolute best choice! Kyle was so relaxed and easy to work with and quickly responded to any questions we had, big or small. The staff was lovely and we got compliments all night on the venue choice! Highly recommend! Perfect vibe, wonderful people and fair prices!

Google
This is our 448th brewery, so we have been to a few. First great spot, great vibe and they are doggie friendly!! Staff awesome and welcoming and can pick a beer that fits your wants/needs/likes. Beer is really good and they have a variety of styles to entice any style beer drinker. The hubs likes sours and he is happy!! They had a bonus of having an awesome pizza food truck. Being from NJ we know and love pizza!. So going to come back when we are in town for anything!

Google
@darius4thandgoal says , “ pretty sure ive seen this brewery on pub pass but i never made the trip. if i lived closer id probably visit more often. such a funky lil spot & cool popular choice for travelers. i see monkeys in other peoples reviews idk i might have to come back

Google
Great staff, great beer, lots of selection. (If you love German beers, this place is for you!) Family and dog friendly too. Taco truck was delicious while we there! Can’t wait to come back!

Yelp
I wouldn't have known this little awesome bar was there if I hadn't had friends invite me out. Hidden just outside of the Fort Lauderdale airport, if you've got a long layover, hit this place! If you're flying out and have time to spare, hit this place. If you're flying in and have time, hit this place! This place is literally hidden but our Uber driver found it--though he was...rough! There's plenty of seating. It was a Jeep night and as a Jeeper, it was cool to check out some of the local Jeeps. Open air and inside seating with plenty of screens to keep you entertained and the bar tenders were awesome! For grub, there's a little food truck outside and if I would've had a bigger appetite, I would've ordered everything but the wings hit the spot! Chill vibes, great beer, good people. Can't go wrong.

Francesca D.

Yelp
Hate to sound like a broken record - but this place is the definition of a HIDDEN GEM. Cool atmosphere, fun music playing, plenty on tap, very helpful bartenders. Great spot to relax and have a drink if you're dealing with flight delays.

Julissa J.

Yelp
Our company hosted an event at this business and it was a great experience! The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Our event was a success thanks to the support of Miranda and the entire team. We will definitely be back! And who knew pineapple beer was a thing? Highly recommended!

Yelp
THERAGINGFORK.com Oct 28th 2023, went to a renaissance fair at Lauder-Ale brewery, first time here. Knights fighting and belly dancing while drinking cold craft beer brewed right on the property. The bar is kind of hidden behind port everglades, but when i got there i was impressed with the variety of the craft brews. All of the bartenders were dressed for the event and were happy. The bathrooms were cool inside with stickers everywhere but needed a little attention... Plenty of parking on the grass. 5 stars

Yelp
Really nice brewery located in the Fort Lauderdale airport area. Very lowkey and in the cut, but once you find it it's a gem. Service is amazing and staff is really nice. Beef is good tons of variety. I usually go for" Jenny with the Pot" Taco nights.

Mauricio B.

Yelp
Very cool brewery. It is located in a warehouse area next to Port Everglades. They have a great selection of beers, 26 taps with 4 core beers and the other ones are rotated on a regular basis. Beers flights are a great way to taste new beers, it is $15 for 4 5-oz beers. During this visit, my favorite one was an IPA called Liquid Sunshine (great orange flavor, full body and medium to high bitterness level). There is a good size inside seating area with a few large TVs, but the nicest part is the outside patio, eclectic decoration and a mix of picnic tables, couches and regular tables. As far as food, there is a food truck that has a small menu, but everything we tried was very tasty and service was very fast. If you have your boarding pass or ticket for a flight out of FLL airport, you get a 20% discount. Not a bad deal. Definitely a place to check out if you like creative beers and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Cheers!

Lexi Z.

Yelp
There's no food offered here, but the service is always exceptionally friendly and prompt! I enjoy the ambiance of the industrial and tropical environment. There's a huge indoor and outdoor area and the beers are always delicious. I am a huge sour and cider fan, and this brewery never disappoints! 10/10

Alba G.

Yelp
I really liked the outside and inside of this place. I didn't get to try any of what they had because I came here to eat from jenny with the pot here which I love their food. I played a card game with my friends and it was such a good time! I saw other people there doing fire dancing and it was a gathering of people just having a good time and cheering each other on. I also saw dogs because you can bring friendly dogs here. Really chill and relaxed place.

Josh E.

Yelp
Wife and I were in Fort Lauderdale for the weekend and were lucky to find time for this place. There is a reason it says "Hard to Find, but Easy to Drink," as its tucked away in an industrial area by the Port Everglades - if you keep patient and find the parking lot in the back, it's worth it. Josh provide great service in describing what beer suits your tastes and also recommended other breweries in the area. It was a nice lazy Saturday with plenty of space, calm setting and great music. A food truck arrived and there was a stage in the back so the night life is sure to be great as well.

Linh T.

Yelp
Pretty cool place, tucked quietly away. I would've never known about this brewery if I wasn't invited here for a wedding. Great vibes, and lots of locals. Pet friendly and they have food trucks for food. Good amount of beer selections and they also have wine! The staff members were amazing. Overall, a great experience here.

Marqus R.

Yelp
At LauderAle Brewery & Tap Room they have a saying: "Hard to find but great to drink," and indeed it is rather hard to find. It's sort of off the street, tucked in behind a graphic sales building, and because the roads in the area have been altered, older GPSs are of little use. However, finding it is well worth the effort as all of the beers and ales I tried were just great. LauderAle Brewery & Tap Room is a small-batch, electric-fired brewery, the first nano-brewery in Southeast Florida. Its ales are centered on local culture and influence and their beers range from blondes to imperial stouts. I had one of their Monkey Road Red Ales which had a depth of flavor along with a delightful light herbal-like finish. I also tried their German-style Hefeweizen beer, or Heisenberg, which I also found delightful in taste, flavor, balance, and overall finish. It's a rather outdoorsy place, and totally dog friendly. When I was there they had a convenient food wagon serving tacos, and to my surprise, ceviche. LauderAle Brewery is in my book one of the best nano breweries around with a perfect laid back relaxing atmosphere.

Christina F.

Yelp
Love this hidden gem in Fort Lauderdale. It's hard to find, located almost within Port Everglades. This is definitely a locals spot with a great vibe and great atmosphere. The outdoor patio area is the best part about it. They have local bands and musicians that perform and local food trucks daily, serving up some yummy food. They have a pretty good beer lineup, with something for every taste. I had the seasonal pumpkin, and it definitely did not disappoint. They also have a big screen TV inside perfect for Sunday football. Great way to spend an afternoon, watching a game and sipping some brews, with some live music and a nice outdoor hangout. They also hold a lot of events, be sure to check their website and social media to see what's going on.

Anycia V.

Yelp
Been here a ton, I like the low key chill aspect of the place. The only thing I wish is that the beer was colder. It is often a bit on the room temperature side which for the sours and stouts can be a bit rough.

Amya H.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this brewery! I came to enjoy some of the hottest Birria Tacos in town from @JennyWithThePot on Instagram and wound up in such a beautiful space I didn't even know existed! For starters, you must pay attention to the signs that guide you along the road to Lauderdale Brewery or you might easily miss it. Upon turning in, there's a nice little oasis with lights, benches and couches for everyone to enjoy and even has a dog friendly area with free water bowls and treats offered. I ordered two Beef Birria Tacos from the JennyWithThePot food truck and they were absolutely amazing! I don't think any restaurant in South Florida could top them, and I've had PLENTY of tacos. Hopefully they open a permanent location soon for everyone to enjoy, but for right now, keep up with their pop up locations on instagram! I ordered a Porter beer from the brewery which was dark, coconutty and an absolute perfect pair with my tacos. I am not the most knowledgeable on beer, but I will say that their craft beers were worth the price and I can't wait to try more! The staff is very helpful with understanding the different flavors offered and you can also sample to discover your desired brew. Overall, a 10/10 and I will definitely be back for more tacos and beer!

Yelp
Service is absolutely amazing. We have a extremely long layover here in fort Lauderdale so we figured why not let's check our a couple breweries and make it fun. With that being said, we mentioned that to the guy and he gave us 20% if we can show our boarding pass! Amazing! DOG FRIENDLY! The ambiance is beautiful, huge outdoor patio with fans and tons of seating. There is also a ton of parking as well so if you rent a car or of course like the typical person drive here, you shouldn't have an issue with parking. Unfortunately we weren't able to try any food because we stopped at a couple places before. But if it's any thorn like the beer, I'm sure it wouldn't disappoint. They also have red and white sangrias!

TJ H.

Yelp
Great brewery, close to the airport (FLL) stop by, I will definitely stop after a long flight, and maybe even before a long flight? Lots of brews and plenty of seating. Enjoyed the food from the food truck, wife said some of the best guacamole she's had

Liliana A.

Yelp
Very nice place. Kyle was awesome, his assistance with the event was super helpful. People had a great time with beer and games.

Steve H.

Yelp
This place is awesome!!!! Ig you are in Ft Lauderdale definitely try to find thus place. The house brews are amazing! I usually have the Lauderale Lite...don't laugh, it's really good!! When you walk in, you know your in an active brewery. The atmosphere is really nice. An old warehouse, with tables, high tops and bar seating, and there is always a food truck available. Just a great place with an amazing staff and seriously well crafted beers. Stop reading....go....

Monique L.

Yelp
Cool place! Hidden little gem in Fort Lauderdale by the airport. Really cool outdoor seating along with indoor. Lots of beer options for any kind of beer drinker. Great place to get together with friends, have drinks and just have a good time. Check it out!

Christina O.

Yelp
Excellent brewery - great selection of beers and welcoming hospitality! We've enjoyed several afternoons and evenings here. Highly recommend!

Nicole V.

Yelp
Super cute place, but a bit of sketchy location. They are located right next to port of Everglades/FTL airport next to train tracks and where the big containers are by. I had a friend visiting from out of the country and we only had this one night to hang out so decided to take her here on a Thursday night. They had a food truck right outside and had a good amount of beer selection. There was a stage area indoors which makes me believe, they do shows on weekends on their peak times. Super cute and spacious brewery. Great after long tiring flight as it's right next door.

Bernie L.

Yelp
This brewery is in a big spacious warehouse and the outside area is beautiful too. They have a wide assortment of brews to pick from. I thoroughly enjoyed the flight of brews I tried. It's nicely tucked away by the rail road and the airport, you'd almost never know it was there but I'm glad I found it. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy breweries. They also have food trucks outside in the front of the warehouse.

Kristen N.

Yelp
What a chill way to spend a few hours! This is my go-to when out of town visitors are heading back to the airport and have a some time to wind down before their flight. In fact, if you show a FLL boarding pass, you get a 20% discount!! Remember that! You can watch the flights as they take off, not right overhead, but close enough. My friend ordered a beer at first, but for our second round, we both got their Florida Water from the tap; a hard seltzer that isn't too sparkly. Its a different product than the traditional hard seltzers, and hey, why not try something original? They were trying out a new flavor when I was there- Strawberry. It was really good! Not too intense and definitely not sweet. They had a catering tent (I'm not going to call it a food truck, but it was like a food truck without the truck) which I understand happens regularly (there's a schedule on their website with the food trucks). There is indoor and outdoor seating areas, a lot of shade, and cool artwork. Very dog friendly, in fact there's even a little hook on the wine barrel table where we sat that probably could hold a dog leash. For the non-beer drinkers, other than Florida Water, there's a few guest ciders on tap, plus wine, prosecco, and a house made sangria. They have special events some times too, so definitely check the website before you go. Bottle releases, bands, vendors, etc. The only downside of this place is getting there (before you've been drinking, lol!). I have been there about 8 times and every single time, I get lost. Even my Ubers got lots. Google maps doesn't match the signage very well, so all I can say is be careful.

Claire S.

Yelp
Dog friendly indoor and outdoor brewery--what could be better? They consistently have a great food truck there, as the brewery itself doesn't have a kitchen. They also have one decent sized TV inside to watch sports, I'd that's your thing. I tried a few different beers and enjoyed them all. I'll definitely be returning!

Dalia V.

Yelp
Tuesday night and what else to do but go to get some IPA"s with some music and some laughs "comedian" night. Another great time in Florida for some time out and enjoy the flavors of Florida. Get out and enjoy!

Chris K.

Yelp
Great space, location, staff. The ceiling fans are a bonus for SoFlo heat. Huge number of diverse taps. The lighting is bad. Everyone was using their cell phone lights to read anything. Annoying but not a deal breaker. Easy fix if they want to. BUT THE BEER WAS WARM. I had 4 different beers and they were all the same barely cool temperature. I actually called a friend to talk about it and he said he had the same experience there recently. Warm beer is not good. Please fix this.

Josie R.

Yelp
Cute place hidden from the tourists. Great beer selection. We went on a Friday early evening and they had a band playing and a jerk food truck. The food was delicious and the music was great. We'll be back!

Cyndi C.

Yelp
One of my favorite places in Ft. Lauderdale. The Coconut Porter keeps me going back. Laid back atmosphere.

Lauren S.

Yelp
This was our second or third visit here. Our first visit was for a fundraiser for doggies. This time we decided last minute after hubby landed at the airport. We have sat outside every time because the inside is not breezy enough. The doors are always open so there is no air conditioning. I believe our first or second time visiting was for a Dog benefit and we brought our corgi along. It was a muggy day, like most days in south FL, and we sat outside. Dogs were allowed inside but it was crowded that day with dogs, people, and venders. We did go inside to browse, use the restroom, and get our beers. Outside usually has a food truck and about ten picnic tables to sit at. We tried a variety of styles. I tend to go for the dark beers and pilsners while my hubs goes with the lighter ales. The beers were okay but not memorable. Considering it is a brewery and they server their beers, I would imagine the prices should be more reasonable. I would say the average is $8 for a beer and that adds up. We have visited another time when I picked up my husband from the airport. It is really close to FLL and not difficult to get to. We did not realize this until we closed out our check but if you show your airline ticket, you receive 10% off your check.

Jason N.

Yelp
Always a great place to grab a beer when at the Port! We always enjoy the food trucks and outdoor seating area. A great spot for dogs and kids. Yesterday we had the pleasure of someone buying my whole family their lunch too! Favorite beer: Indigenous Bastard (West Coast IPA)

Betty J.

Yelp
Had a great time yesterday at the 5th anniversary party..., Congratulations! Thank you to the nice guy who opened the gate for us to park! That was so sweet my friend and I were driving around looking for parking and someone cane opened a gate and said park in here Now that's great customer service so I came in my 2nd time here and signed up for the Captains Club. I'm looking forward to coming back soon! The beers were awesome I planned to have 2, however some nice people bought me 2 more so I had a great sampling! The beer-tenders are all amazing! I told them what kind of beer I don't like and every choice was in the right direction they know what they are doing! The place is cute, very industrial & casual laid back atmosphere which I really like! People can bring their dogs there were lots of them last night and they were all well behaved ... kudos to the owners! There is no AC but plenty of fans sit indoors or out just wear comfortable clothes or it can get hot... it's like being in someone's back yard for a BBQ at least that's how we felt relaxed and comfortable and welcomed by all! Although I've been here before I still got lost on the way ( And that being the name of a beer I had to try it) IDK why WAZE nor Google maps can get this right but they need to up third game and stop sending people to do countless U turns to nowhere! If your looking directly at Park & Go it's to the right of that my maps kept taking me past make a U turn and come back ... I was like I know this isn't right so WTF

Liz L.

Yelp
Finally got the chance to come here and I was not disappointed. If you are looking for a chill, outdoor/indoor, dog friendly and just overall good vibes, this is your place. They have great beer selections and awesome food trucks where you can grab a quick bite, while drinking some beer or wine. The staff was also so friendly and attentive.

Jaclyn K.

Yelp
LauderAle opened a few years back, and since then it has become a local staple. They've renovated the inside and made it a fresh, open, warehouse space. They serve their own brews as well as some ciders, wines, and sake. They usually have events going on, like trivia on Wednesday or Beer Yoga on Sunday. In addition to the inside seating, they have an outdoor patio with space for food trucks, cornhole, and picnic tables. LauderAle is a great place to go, especially if you're just in Ft Lauderdale for a bit--it's right near the Park and Ride airport parking in the warehouse district.

Chris P.

Yelp
Really fantastic place to throw a party! The outside courtyard is beautiful and the people are so easy to work with. Miranda and Kyle hooked us up with the very talented local band NeverSayNever and a delicious selection of food catered by Sebastien from GlowBowl, and of course, the best micro brews around. We're eternally greatfull that LauderAle made my wife's 50th bday the best we could imagine. We could not be happier!

Shannon D.

Yelp
This is our fave local hangout. Great beers and great atmosphere. BUT THE STAFF!! greatest people ever. Going on our second year being Captains Club members. Just a great local place to be. The only place we frequent.

Stephen D.

Yelp
The beer was good, the outdoor area was great. However, it didn't live up to the hype I had heard before going here. It also doesn't match up against other breweries in Ft Lauderdale which has an excellent beer scene. I couldn't give this place 3 stars but 4 is also a bit high.

Mimi S.

Yelp
Aside from their amazing selection of beers, hard seltzers and friendly staff- this place also occasionally has food trucks, live music, and other fun recreational things. This is a super chill hole in the wall where you simply can't have a bad time. Love this place

Art V.

Yelp
Very nice brewery with an excellent selection of beer, and very friendly staff. The taco food truck that was there when we went was an added plus. We will be back.

Catherine R.

Yelp
excellent customer service! enjoyable atmosphere. groovy music. good beer. i like mexican beer they have one.

Mike C.

Yelp
Very nice place with an excellent selection of house brews. I went there for a home brewing competition and had a great time. They don't have food but they usually have a food truck outside. Looking forward to come back!

Vivian V.

Yelp
I really enjoy this place! Awesome people, Dog friendly and a lot of funny activities during the week. I had the pleasure to meet Miranda , she is awesome , gave me the whole tour about the Weekly specials I tried a Blonde Ale, very refreshing. Becoming a regular here is sooo easy!

Clyde L.

Yelp
Of all the local breweries, I believe LauderAle is my favorite. They have fabulous Craft Beers at tremendous prices. The beer is always ice-cold. It sounds like a cliché, but many local breweries offer their beers to you luke-warm. I love LauderAle! I have been to a few parties there and a few times with Diane, just for a night out. They have a nice Happy Hour from 3-6PM. There are many benches and tables to sit at and enjoy your selections. My only criticism is that Lauderale doesn't serve my favorite beer in the whole world--Coors Light! Nor do they serve any other light beers. This is not unusual among breweries. In fact almost all of them discriminate against the light beer lovers among us. How difficult would it be to just have one light draft beer or even light bottled beer? I suppose it is just not considered hip to imbibe light beers. Anyway, the wonderful staff steers me to a nice medium strength Lager. I can't say I don't love them, too. But it would be fantastic to mix in a Coors Light among my selections. Now that I got that off my chest, I can tell you that LauderAle is a wonderful brewery. It's just a little hard to find. But when you arrive, you won't be sorry! It's a great, fun place!

Robert P.

Yelp
Always a great choice before or after airport Cold beer Good service Great selection Handicap accessible Good bathrooms Good food truck Clean

Lina S.

Yelp
This a very cool place . Has games , lots of different kind of beers , a lot space , you can bring kids and your pets but service sucks it takes a while for you to get a drink , no ice for you water either but this can be fix. . Their bartenders get 2 stars ) Prices are not bad . There is a food truck outside . Service is awesome the same as their food . All the 4 starts to them . We had burgers , tacos , French fries and Brussels sprouts all so good and everyone working there the nicest . I would have given then more but since the service at the bar wasn't good I couldn't . There is plenty of parking . Little tricky to get here .

Alejandra M.

Yelp
Must visit!!!! After visiting many places here in South Florida and having rude waitresses and bartender this place is definitely a breath of fresh air. Being from Cali our beertenders are always hospitable and welcoming just like the ladies here at Lauder Ale! There's nothing bad I can find to say about this place and just hope to visit again soon.

Ali P.

Yelp
Lauderale is my go to brewery! They have the best beers! One beer and you're buzzed lol! They're so unique and the bartenders are awesome! They let you try beers and also have different food trucks each day which are so yummy! Hidden gem in Fort Lauderdale near the airport, don't want to miss out!

Kerry B.

Yelp
Lauderale is not the easiest place to find. You are going to need good GPS if you haven't been here before. It is in an industrial warehouse district near the ft lauderdale airport. I love that the inside has an industrial feel. You walk in right through an open garage door into the brewing area where they have a bar with about 14 stool, 7 park style benches and plenty of outdoor seating. Lauderale has a lot of character and a lot of characters. I have been here more than a few times when they were both slammed and slow and the service was just as good. I also love that unlike some of the breweries which I used to like but am disappointed in, LauderAle always has enough of a GREAT BEER SELECTION to keep me happy. As far as food goes, they have a food truck which is pretty standard now for breweries. And I think they change from time to time. This Saturday afternoon while I was making this review and having a flight of some super scrumptious beer, they had Bae's food truck. They also have an air conditioned area near the restrooms which has couches chairs and tv. Kinda like a small living room or den. LauderAle has a great selection of good beer from IPAs, doubles, belgians, and ales to gose and sours. Plus Sundays they have Yoga, live jazz and a farmer's market from time to time.

Natasha P.

Yelp
I have been going to this brewery for a couple years, ever since I moved here. My husband is a HUGE fan of Lauderale. Love the beers and I like that they have sour beers on tap. We take anyone new to this brewery. They never disappoint. Also everyone that works there are so friendly and they remember you so makes you feel so welcoming.

Sergio F.

Yelp
For a place to be a truly dog friendly bar, they should have Bowser Beer on tap (yes, there's such a thing as beer for dogs). That being said, LauderAle comes pretty close to a spot where my 4-legged child can have her adventures in the south Florida bar scene! I took Luna here for the doggie birthday party of one of her four-legged pals (and furchild of a good friend). Located "Catty"corner and speakeasyish to I-595 and hidden in the warehouse district near the port, LauderAle has a nice little patio where to enjoy and invibe. When we went, there was also a food truck (though I didn't try). What's cool is that our group was allowed to set up a table with food and party favors. The soundtrack was light alt-rockish, giving it the feel of my college years. The bar itself is inside, and the menu is heavy toward IPA's and some ciders. The lightly sweet, pear Original Sin Cider was a great afternoon refreshment. Bar staff was also really friendly!

Sarah S.

Yelp
Cute place, but no AC? It was warm inside so we went outside looking for a breeze. Our beer and cider weren't cold either, add a few minutes in the sun and it wasn't drinkable. The food truck had a sign showing good food but everything was marked "N/A". Otherwise, friendly staff.
