The 12 Best Croissants In Paris - Paris - The Infatuation
"No other croissant in town matches the thunderous crunch of the one at Duchêne. It’s so intensely crispy that it feels like this place should be selling branded bibs to catch all those crumbs. Alongside the Japanese-accented pastries at the Butte-aux-Cailles bakery, these perfectly plump viennoiseries are surprisingly light, with a white interior that’s not excessively sweet. They’re buttery enough to be delicious, but not so much so that you’ll crash on your couch until dinner. Don’t sleep on the Délice Acidulé, a house creation for almond croissant fans who want things a touch less cloying." - emily monaco
Laurent Duchêne Review - 13th Arr. - Paris - The Infatuation

This place is absolutely amazing! My words cannot do it justice. The pictures help a little but these pastries, or better put, works af art are life changing.

Cannot describe in words. Products from this patisserie are delicious. I tried few, pictures are posted. Also did try their croissant and other food items too, but was busy eating and completely forgot to take pictures.
Must try!

The city life is intoxicating with so much to do and see. Chocolate croissant was better than expected. Worth a trek. Next door is a cafe where you can order a cappuccino and bask in the sunlight for a few.

We visited because Laurent Duchene was on several lists for the best croissant in Paris.
This was definitely NOT the case and Laurent Duchene was a huge disappointment. Their croissant is not buttery or flaky at all and tasted like a bread roll.
Not sure what happened but we either went on a bad day or their quality has fallen off drastically.
The croissants at my hotel's breakfast buffet are better than their croissants.
If taking the metro here and getting off at Convention station, there is a fabulous bakery right at the corner of Vaugirard and Alain Chartier - It does not show on Google Maps for some reason but the awning said "Artisan Boulanger". We had several items from here and they were all fantastic.

We had croissants here, it's said that it has the best croissants in Paris, so the expectations levels up. Though the croissants were good, it would be exaggeration to credit it as the best one in Paris.

Be prepared for a line or a slight wait. This bakery is in high demand! They bake sour dough bread which is pretty good. The paris Brest is super addictive, thé palmiers are slightly over cooked pretty much always but other than that it’s a good bakery
