"In this verdant setting in a small wood close to the Vienne River, tuck into meticulous cuisine attuned to the seasons. The inspector was a fan of the organic confit egg, creamy parsnip purée, Cantal cheese shavings and ham crisps, as well as the lovely terrace with a view of the lake. Two spaces: restaurant and bistro." - Michelin Inspector

A lovely venue with an excellent selection front the menu of either the Bistro or the Restaurant (both offering a choice of a selected menu or à la Càrte), the food prices were as expected for a Restaurant of this standard and the wine list had an enormous selection. We visited on a Thursday evening soon after opening and although not very busy the tables were filling up and I would definitely advise booking in advance. The service we received was excellent with both French and English spoken by the waiting staff.

Everything was amazing. The staff are knowledgeable about gluten and celiac, there are also vegetarian options. They made special gluten free bread for us, we had to reserve a table for this though. The food is delicious and the staff is very attentive. They speak English and French Thank you for a lovely evening!

OMG! Everything is so nice, so relaxing, such welcoming hosts. It is lovely to just stay, relax, eat quitely, almost in the forest, in a such a calm, beatiful place. I would have given 10 out of 5 if possible. Excellent food and wine (sorry, but it was too good to take pictures after the entrée)!

Great food, fantastic choice of wines, whiskeys and other drinks. Friendly staff and the locations is great, especially if you have the chance to sit outside! We will definitely visit again if we have the chance

A lovely welcome and a good menu du jour for 19€95 which is suitable for pescatarians. The service was brisk with each course brought out immediately after the other.

The wine was far too expensive at 5 times the normal price for a bottle, and the Champagne was 15 euros à glass, when it was for sale at the local supermarket for 18 euros a bottle. 3 euros 90 for coffee, and the Earl Grey l ordered was tasteless - l left it. Despite having warned the restaurant beforehand, when booking the meal, that l am extremely allergic to mustard, and reminding the waiting staff on arrival, l was reassured twice that there was no mustard in any of the food, even when l asked about the curry sauce. I was told the chef made his own curry and it contained no mustard. It was only when l asked à third time that it was checked and l was told that there was actually mustard in the sauce and not to eat it. No alternative (nor apology!) was offered. The whole experience, including the meal was mediocre. We won't be going back.

Good friendly service, beautiful location and very good menu. We ate in the restaurant rather than the bistro, however the bistro menu du jour also looked good.
