The food was amazing everything we got. I never had such a good steak in any halal place before the best part is everything here is HALAL. Our server Morshed was amazing he was really friendly and respectful. Spicy mango drink was my favorite. We had Chicken tacos 10/10 Linguine pasta with steak 10/10 Ravioli positanese 10/10 Pizza lava rock 10/10 Chili chicken 9.5/10 Chicken fried rice 10/10 Beef kofta kabab 9.5/10 Polpettine miste 10/10 Spicy mango drink 10/10 Cinderella 9.5/10 (I personally don’t prefer sweet drink but my Niece says 10/10)

My new favorite spot in the BronxA Food is fresh and tasty. Atmosphere is warm and relaxing. The best part is the service. The staff go above and beyond, they check on you and do everything to ensure you have a pleasant experience. Special thanks to Morshed Bhai and Sara. They are truly amazing!

Tonight we tried lava rock kitchen in Bronx. It was an excellent experience. Servis was outstanding. by Shanker.(I think that was his name if I did not catch it wrong.) for starter we ordered calamari and lollipop chicken. Both were five star for drinks spicy mango was the winner in main entrée. We ordered chicken Parmesan, lamb chops, lamb shank and chili chicken. I would say everything was very good, only in Parmesan the sauce was a little watery. It could be better Quantity was satisfying. Overall, it was a good experience and I recommended to try at least once to judge it yourself.

Authentic flavors, cozy atmosphere, and top-notch service! The pizza perfectly baked, and the tiramisu heavenly. Highly recommend.

Starting of with the waiter, extremely friendly, kind and respectful. The atmosphere is pleasant, nothing too fancy. Nice please to sit, chat and eat. Food came out fresh and hot. Pasta was good and so was the chicken. The risotto could have been better. Risotto lacked in flavor. Needed some kick to it. Overall a nice halal restaurant with kind staff and the bathroom was very clean and beautiful. No parking so need to hunt for parking.

Lava Rock Kitchen is an absolute gem for anyone looking for a halal Italian dining experience. From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding — the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of. As a special treat, they even brought us complimentary mocktails to sample, which were delicious and refreshing. I ordered the bone-in ribeye, and it was cooked to perfection — incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The cozy atmosphere combined with the attentive service made the evening feel extra special. I can’t wait to come back and try even more from their amazing menu!

It was my first time at this place, and I wanted to try something different, and it was an excellent decision. It's the only elegant and sophisticated place in the neighborhood. The food was very good; our selections from the menu were pasta, pizza, and chicken wings; each dish was exquisite. The service was polite and courteous, especially from Morshed, who gave us great recommendations and explained the details of the dishes we chose. We'll be back soon…

Lava Rock Kitchen has quickly become one of my favorite spots. I’ve visited three times, and each time the food has blown me away. You can tell they care about quality, every dish is rich with flavor and beautifully presented. But beyond the food, the service is what keeps me coming back. The server is incredibly kind, patient, and always goes out of their way to make the experience comfortable and enjoyable. True hospitality!

Today me and my family went here for new year's day and honestly, we all thought it was amazing. Once you sit down at your table the waiter brings hot garlic bread and marinara sauce to your table. Besides that, the food and service is amazing, waiters are honest polite and caring. I ordered the t bone steak medium rare and it was delicious. Along with that my family order the lamb kebab with vegetables and rice and sesame chicken with chicken fried rice. Overall food was amazing 10/10 definitely will return again.

U can tell the pasta was homemade and al dente I was craving pesto didn't see it on the menu and they still hooked it up so the service is kind! And my cousin wanted penne instead of ravioli and they made it happen (we feel spoiled)the baby had a margherita pizza (of course we tasted def made from scratch sorry forgot to take the photo). The fries had a surprise of seasoning. We are satisfied. The virgin mango mojito and mango cooler was yummy and fresh and pretty I love when ppl make drinks pretty. The restaurant is beautiful modern and loving. Happy to have halal Italian food!

If you're looking to try an authentic Italian restaurant, check out this spot. Not only do they offer delicious Italian food, they also have Asian-inspired dishes. With their extensive menu with so many different flavor options, delicious mocktails, a beautiful dining area and ambiance is dimly lit, Lava Rock was definitely worth the visit. They do not have a set mocktail menu but the bartender/waitress suggested some great options and the drinks were good and refreshing. Note that parking is street parking only and it seemed to be a very busy area. So if You plan on dining here, definitely give yourself 10-15 mins prior to your reservation time to find parking. Staff was also very friendly. Here are all the dishes we tried: Appetizers: - Bread and sauce (complimentary) - bread was actually very good - Pan Fried Chicken Dumplings - I liked these paired with the chilli sauce. - Salmon tartare (chefs special of the day) - my favorite! Flavorful and fresh - Thai soup - this helped all of our sinuses. Really nice soup Entrees: - Costolette d'Agnello (lamb chops) - super tasty and cooked perfectly - Ossobuco d'Agnello (lamb shank) - a must try. - Penne alla Salsiccia in Salsa Rosa (penne alla 'vodka') - good - NY Strip Loin Steak - this was OK; the steak was too dry for me. It needed to be more juicy - Pollo Parmigiana (chicken parm) - pretty good - Cheese pizza - classic dish and perfect for children Desserts: - Chocolate Truffle Mousse - strong taste. It was okay - Cannoli - comes with a citrus fruit. Not my forte but if you like it with a citrus flavor then this is for you

I went here for a late lunch and I really enjoyed my meal! The complementary bread was so good! We got meatballs as appetizers and they were so tender and delicious! I got the lasagna as my main course and that was so tasty as well! The interior is very clean and modern. Servers are very attentive as well! I would definitely come back!

This is the best Italian eatery in Castle Hill/Parkchester. The meats are halal. The ingredients are fresh! No alcohol but they make mocktails. Family friendly. Staff and service are attentive and orderly.

Amazing food and the staff were sooo patient. Especially SARAH, she gave my 4 year old son so much love with her 5 star service. Highly recommend for a family friendly environment with excellent food. The steak and Bronzino were my personal favorite!

My family and I had a wonderful dinner here. The service and ambience were excellent. The food was wonderful, especially the Funghi Misti appetizer. The calamari was fresh as well. The steak was tender and nicely cooked. We will return here soon.

My family came here to celebrate my parents anniversary. When I tell you this place had THE BEST food I've ever had. The fish was amazing, the Thai soup was perfect and the pasta was divine. I wish I could come here more often. I wouldn't regret. Best part is that it is halal and even the drinks are cocktails. Everything was so good and the service was also amazing! The waiter came and explained the dishes to us and it felt very nice. The whole vibe of the place also felt great. Definitely would come here again! I would say the only ttj8ng is that there is a long wait for the food but we didn't mind that. Keep that in mind though!
