Lavomatique

It was not just a dinner, but an amazing experience. The highlight of our trip to Nice. We were very lucky to seat exactly in front of the kitchen and watch everything being prepared in front of us - it was a whole show, which we were not expecting. The food was super good - highlights go to the cauliflower and beef fillet, but everything was great. Wish we have had space to try the desserts that also looked impeccable. Make sure to make d reservation. It's the type of restaurant to go in couple or small groups because it's small.

Our visit to Lavomatique was exceptional! We made a lunch reservation during our honeymoon to Nice and it was one of the best meals we had all trip! Everything we ordered was so fresh and we loved seeing it being made right in front of us. The homemade chocolate ice cream for dessert was perfect to end the meal - highly recommend this restaurant for an all around lovely meal and experience!

My partner invited me to Lavomatique for dinner - and I can tell you it was absolutely amazing. At first, I was a bit skeptical about sitting at the counter, however, it turned out to be much more immersive and entertaining there. Food was top notch, we had 4 plates to share and a lemon tart for desert. Each dish was perfection - my favourites were she shrimps and pork rib - out of this world. Would go back any time!!!

So very good, every dish made right in front of you in the open kitchen — allowing you to engage and see the chefs at work. The pork ribs were so tender and had a nice balance of savory and tartness from the sauce. The eggplants were perfect, with a very interesting suzu and coffee flavor. The chicken was perfect cooked and so moist. The only dish that didn’t shine very much was the courgette, would definitely come back

By far my favorite dining experience in Nice and some of the best food I’ve ever had. Every dish was a 10/10. Having an open kitchen concept and being able to see the chefs prepare the food right in front of you is also a wonderful and inviting experience. Definitely coming back

We had such a fab time at Lavomatique! Great atmosphere & the food was inventive and tasty, some really great flavour combinations. Our favourite was the roasted cauliflower with peanut sauce! The staff were also amazing, super kind and attentive, we felt really spoiled. A great change from the usual, more traditional old town restaurants, if you feel like trying something different this is the place!

One of our favorite dining experiences in Nice. Each dish was exceptional. Watching the chefs work from the counter, uniquely wonderful. The tone of the restaurant; casual sophistication. Top of my list of restaurants to return to.

Delicious and innovative food. Small and intimate. Excellent wine pairing if you trust. I went three times now to experience much of the menu and still want to return. Asparagus and eggplant were seasonal and the most delicious I’ve had. (Reservations a must!)
