"During the day, Lazarus is a great spot to grab a shot of espresso and a couple of tacos. And by night, it’s a great spot to grab a pint of beer and a couple of tacos. We like most of the core beers here, but the rotational releases are what keep us coming back. They’re also what allows you to pair those carnitas tacos with everything from Belgian barleywines to black rice lagers. "When Lazarus first opened its doors on East Sixth Street in late 2016, it took the world (or at least a small block of East Austin) by storm. It became, and remains to this day, a buzzy spot for good coffee, solid beers, great tacos, and a spacious patio. And the newer space on Airport Boulevard takes things to another level. Much like the original location, there’s a large list of beers brewed in-house, plus espresso-based drinks, tacos, and tortas. Here, though, you’ll have access to a larger, expanded menu with dishes like sizzling carne asada and enchiladas.
