"The brewery serves Detroit-style pizza, which is distinctive for its crispy cheese edges. I went for the Brussel Hustle, topped with brick cheese, roasted Brussels sprouts, bacon, garlic herb ricotta, house-made hot honey drizzle, and Parmesan. While I’m usually a Neapolitan or New York-style girlie, Detroit-style has a place in my heart — Lazy Days’ thick crust was fluffy with a springy chew and I loved this combination of ingredients, especially the perfectly charred Brussels." - Eater Staff

Nice quaint establishment. Very good pizza we had the og pizza and the big a** pretzel, and if you don't try the cheesy bread, you're missing out on some amazingly good stuff. The ranch is very good and has a garlic dill taste they pairs well with the pizza. Quality over quantity with the beer selection. They also have cocktails, whisky, and wine.

Google
I got the Paloma, Forager pizza, and the artichoke dip. 10/10. Don’t sleep on this spot! Hands down the best artichoke dip. Creamy, full of veggies, and so tasty. Pizza was awesome. I personally love Detroit style pizza but I’ve never had one with an oil instead of sauce on top. SOO good! The crust has a crunchy outside throughout which is sometimes not the case at other establishments. Paloma was top notch. Loved our first visit, can’t wait to come back.

Google
I had a strawberry milk cocktail. Their food was good I had the chicken dip and a pizza. The individual pizzas are very filling. I recommend the bbq chicken pizza. I had a nice dinner with my family.

Google
Very good pizza and beer. They have new outdoor seating. Great for a sunny day. The pretzel was large and delicious.

Google
Weekend brunch! I opted for the biscuits and mushroom gravy. Those are good for you right? And the tomato juice based beverage for a well-rounded start to the day ;)

Google
Had a wonderful experience with my first time dining here. We loved the spinach artichoke dip, it was so good! The meatballs and pizza were great as well. Staff was super nice and the service was great. We’ll be back!

Google
Food and beer are great. Especially the beer. Detroit style pizza and lots of vegetarian options-> kudos 👏 for being thoughtful :) Service was a bit slow, and hence the 4 star. Will highly recommend this place. Good meet up place for all the Portland suburbs and metro folks if you don't want to fight the downtown traffic.

Joel

Google
Pizza is the Detroit style type and was surprisingly lighter, and crispier than I expected. It wasn’t the belly bomb that you get from Chicago. Recommend you share 1 pizza with another person. Beer was good, but nothing to write home about. I would add a few rotating taps to the beer menu with "partner" breweries. There are so many great breweries in the area, why not have a few to complement the house beers.

Yelp
With family in town we were looking for a local brew pub with good food and beer, which in most cases you don't find the dual combo. Lazy Days Brewing in downtown Beaverton hit the spot. As you walk in you are greeted by friendly staff. They have a bar top with plenty of seating, or you can enjoy the various seating options within the brew pub. The ambiance is very chill, unlike the large brand name brewery feel. Great for families to individuals. The menu has many options of ( Detroit style) pizza. A large variety of appetizers and salads. We enjoyed the OG, pepperoni, cheese and the Smoking BBQ chicken. Great tasting pizzas, amazing deep dish crust and a lot of toppings, It's great to find a brewery that has great brew with great food options. Well worth the stop given the many breweries that surround Lazy Days.

Yelp
Super cool vibe super friendly and accommodating staff!!! Great variety of cocktails and beers on tap!! Enjoyed the square pizza!! Happy hour deal...$2 buckaroos off w/ one pint and pizza order!!

Yelp
Lazy Days brewing is the new Ex Novo (or at least, on the same spot). The vibe inside is mostly the same, which I actually think is pretty cool. Some booths and tables, with cool finishes. The one downside is that it can be pretty loud in there. We went for Happy Hour and it was Nacho Week! So we got this kickin' nachos that had sausage, cheese, red pepper, jalapeño, and green onion. Those were very good. We also had some drinks, and I had the NA Hopped Tea - it had good flavor and was very refreshing, I definitely recommend. Lastly, I will say the prices were reasonable for drinks and snacks! These days it feels like everything is $15 or more, but they had some good options under that marker. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a beer/pub/pizza scene.

Stephanie S.

Yelp
So happy to try Lazy Days again after the change of hands from Ex Novo. Love the variety of menu items and fun pizza choices. I tried the Brussel Hustle and I am not at all a Brussel sprout fan, this pizza had great balance with the hot honey drizzle, bacon, ricotta and was surprisingly delicious! Nice variety of taps but I especially love that I can get a craft cocktail here while my husband enjoys a beer. Come check it out for yourself, especially if you like deep dish pizza with brick cheese. Something about this cheesy crust is divine!

Yelp
Found this place during a pizza search. Had to wait about 10 mins to get seated but that wasn't bad on a Friday night. Nice place, not pretentious. The pretzel with beer cheese was amazing. Loved the Detroit style pizza. I'd love to take my husband and parents there.

Yelp
Forget the football frenzy! My husband and I were craving a quiet lunch on Superbowl Sunday and stumbled upon Lazy Days Brewing Company. Turns out, it was formerly Ex Novo (which I tried once and found deafeningly loud), so this was a delightful surprise. This was my first foray into Detroit-style pizza, and I'm officially a convert! The focaccia-like crust was light and airy, a textural dream paired with the generously loaded toppings. We shared the 8" Schmokin' BBQ Chicken, which lived up to its name - flavorful and smoky. I felt like a bit healthier option and opted for the Kale-ing Me Softly salad which was really delicious. We also indulged in their creative drinks. The Strawberry Pina cider by Portland Cider Company and the Pomegranate Spritz were both refreshing and unique, and adding a splash of Pineapple Rum to the Spritz took it to a whole new level.

Jasmine F.

Yelp
We had a big table and our server was amazing and very patient. The cider I got was good and pizza was so delicious I forgot to take a picture it was the lazy cat

L N.

Yelp
The open air space is really nice. Good selection of beers, and right in a great location of downtown Beaverton. I like the hatch chile influence/nod to Ex Novo. Big pretzel and beer cheese are delicious, as are the nachos. The service was pretty mediocre (long wait to put orders in, we were told food was out, only to later overhear it was back to rectify our order, wait staff seemed flustered with very few tables). I was excited about the Detroit style pizza, but am not a fan of the "crazy sauce" (which is basically spicy marinara sauce). I would have preferred some lighter style sauces with a Southwest influence. Overall I liked it, and will visit again.

Alden C.

Yelp
Ex Novo continues to impress, no doubt about it in the least. Their beers are so very tasty and they offer unique and experimental brews which is something I am always on the lookout for to try. The most recent beer I had from this brewery was the Septem, categorized as a Wild Ale this beer brought in a great variety of flavors to the table. There were flavor highlights of grapes(and other fruitiness), oak and a tartness that all came together so very well and made a highly enjoyable beer. Nothing about the beer made it too sweet and the balance to it was exceptional. Definitely one of the great breweries of the Portland area.

Yelp
Detroit style pizza?! I have never tried it before. But OMG was it good! It's like a pan pizza. Not so much crust but the sides are sooo crunchy. I ordered a cesar salad and the Buffalo chicken. The server was cool and nice, but messed up my order and instead of Cesar salad, I got cheese bread. My brother thought he was giving it to us on the house or something so we shrugged and shared it. But as time went on and I kept an eye out for my salad, it didn't come and that's when we figured that he didn't remember our order as perfectly as we had thought. Now don't get me wrong. The cheese bread was SO good. But it was almost like another pizza so we got SO full with it that none of us were able to finish the actual pizza we ordered. In addition, we all shared an artichoke dip (see why we couldn't finish our pizzas??) and that was delicious. I tried my brother's Lucky Cat pizza and it was good, but I have to say that the Buffalo chicken was better. I like blue cheese but I don't think it was strong at all in this pizza.

Ploy N.

Yelp
Huge modern space with many large bench seatings. I like the dimly lit interior, making for a cozy atmosphere. We only dropped by for some drinks and snacks so didn't get to try their famous detroit pizza. But, their beer selection was good and the cocktail prices were decent as well. We shared a plate of the Chicken Buffalo Dip which came in a cute cast iron skillet, piping hot. Eventhough I'm usually not a huge fan of buffalo sauce, I enjoyed the dip and liked how creamy it was. Love that you get to dip little pretzel bites in the dip too. All in all, a solid spot to have drinks and hangout.

Soni B.

Yelp
If you like deep dish, this is the place for you. I was very surprised by how good this place is! The food is 10/10. The service is 10/10. And the drinks are 10/10. We got the large lucky cat to share, and I had the peach cider. The pizza had so much flavor, and two slices were definitely filling. I will be back to try some other pizzas.

Rose D.

Yelp
I will preface this by saying I'm not a fan of the crust with a Detroit-style pizza in general (too thick & bready for my taste), but overall the pizza was good. We came here with a friend and shared an order of cheesy bread, which was so yummy we devoured it, and then we each got a different 6" individual pizza. Their menu is some appetizers, a couple salads, their pizzas- which come in 6" or 8", some kids options & a few desserts. For the pizzas they have vegan cheese available for a $2 - $3up charge. They have a good selection of their beers on tap, too, along with liquor/cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages. Our servers were very nice, and also were very sweet to our friends dog. They have seating both inside and s handful of tables outside along the sidewalk/road.

Artemis P.

Yelp
So fast, the service was fast cocktail selection was amazing. The building was very. Old with a new twist on it loved it great little spot to start the night

Robin S.

Yelp
Located in an area of town that seems vibrant. - Ex Novo offers several nice varieties of beer. Portland/Beaverton is a beer Mecca but Ex Novo holds its own. - Food choices are not expansive. Seems to be a pizza joint mostly. Salad and spinach-artichoke dip were good. - Service is top notch. - Music is way too loud if you want to have a conversation. I wanted to sit at the bar but I couldn't hear myself think.

Mark S.

Yelp
I was an infrequent regular (it's an oxymoronic thing) for lunchtime at Ex Novo, pre-Covid. Then Ex Novo stopped their lunchtime service, and Loyal Legion opened across the street with lunch service. That was a major fork in the road in regards to my downtown Beaverton business behavior (alliteration!). Today, I returned to the now renamed (yet, still, familiar) location. It's Lazy Days, and it is great. Great beer. Great pizza. Great service. I re-recommend this new, old place. Sunset Highway (west coast IPA) is extra recommended.

Darren Y.

Yelp
Solid pizza but sadly they don't make shakes anymore. Food is still solid though. 6inch was a good amount of food

Travis T.

Yelp
4.5, rounding down because of the cost. Very good Detroit-style pizza. While it's not the best I've had, I really like their unique toppings. I've had the OG (pepperoni), Querque Derk, and The Forager. I liked all three, but my favorite is probably the Querque Derk. The Italian sausage and green chiles were delicious. I plan on trying several of their other pizzas in the future. The only con is the cost. ~$20 for 4 slices makes it the most expensive Detroit-style pizza in town.

Jez V.

Yelp
I went here for the very first time and was really excited to try their pizza cause I've heard good things. It did not disappoint! It was also my first time trying Detroit style pizza and it was so good. We got the motor city and everything about it was a 10/10. The restaurant space was pretty solid in the heart of downtown Beaverton. Our server was super helpful and always made sure to check in with us every now and then. I also got a pomegranate mocktail and that was delicious as well. I'll have to come back to try their cider flights and other drinks!

Jafari C.

Yelp
Food was fantastic!! Service was very good, and the place was very chill. Definitely will be going back. Oh, if you like pretzels, get it!!!

Morgan H.

Yelp
Popped in for pizza and beer post-moving and it was great! The deep dish pizza is delicious and there's lots of interesting/unqiue flavors. Had the cactus sour and BBQ chickne pizza and both were great! All the live plants inside add a lot of personality to the space, but it does feel fairly cavernous and oddly empty despite not being room for more tables. We luckily scooted in right before the rush, but did have a long wait to get both our beer and pizza. Recommend getting a reservation and preparing to wait a bit.

Yvette H.

Yelp
Ok, sandwiches. Go for pizza. Cocktails are ok. Beer is good.we had to buffalo chicken dip and it was great!! Pass on the Enter the Dragon cocktail.

Cristina C.

Yelp
This place was recommended by a friend. The service was great. Friendly, attentive, able to make good recommendations, and knowledgeable about their product. The pizza is good, too bready for my taste. I wasn't able to taste the smoked mozzarella l, which disappointed me a little. I'd be down to come again, but likely won't be a regular. I recommend making a reservation, they're busy and only had a couple seats available.

Greg V.

Yelp
Along the Turkey Day visit, my son recently relocated up this way and told me of a "great place" he had to take me to. After finishing off the errands for my parents (see China Town Restaurant review), I told him I'd meet him and his new lady at Ex Novo. Not knowing what I was in for, I got there a little early, bellied up to the bar and started my reconnaissance. It's a microbrewery and it has some good selections. I'm a red ale guy, which they didn't have, so I went with a lighter choice, the Watery Grave. It was very nice. The kid and friend showed up, so we grabbed a table. I asked him what he liked here and he said, "The pizza is crazy good here". Okay, sounded good to me. I chose a couple of pizzas, both veggie pizzas The Forager and Phillip the Black, which I also added artichoke hearts too. Thinking we'd go family style, they chose the Lucky Cat and we did just that. Pizza crust is Chicago pan style, so it's big and fluffy. Toppings were delicious and I was surprised at how good the mushroom pizza was. Phillip The Black was also excellent but I added a little ranch and it was perfection. A couple more beers and a couple more slices and we were FULL. Very filling and very tasty. The bar also had a great whisky selection which since coming back from Ireland and Scotland, have become very fond of. Not your typical selection because they had some not normally seen at a restaurant type whisky's. I recommend the Ohan 14. Delish! Good spot, good location right on the corner and good food and drink. I recommend it if you're in the mood for some good pizza and drinks. Big bar and good seating.

Steve L.

Yelp
Was pretty excited to go to this place after a baseball game this last week. Thought we might have a tough time getting a seat for 10 people, but we were able to be seated immediately. Wait staff was attentive, table was nice and clean, it was a little dark, but I feel like that was just the ambiance of the place. I ordered a Mezcal Mule and it was delicious, I'm typically a whiskey or bourbon guy, (mezcal is smoky and another favorite of mine). I also ordered the Motor City, which was good, but not amazing (hence the 4/5). I would definitely go back and eat there again, my son LOVED his pizza, maybe the next pizza and having nice enough weather to sit outside will be what bumps this to a 5 *

Jim W.

Yelp
The pizza is amazing. Thick, crunchy crust with oozing cheese and an amazing sauce. The sauce is what does it for me. Very friendly staff, beer was mixed, I'd rate the beer a 3.75 but with that pizza, it's totally worth a trip!

Jessica R.

Yelp
The Detroit style pizza is 10/10 would recommend Thick, cheesy, fresh, just like me!

Sharon N.

Yelp
Great beer & Great pizza! Service was good too, we sat at the bar, because we didn't have reservations, there was a 20 minute wait. So we sat at the bar & got served right away. They serve Detroit style pizza, thick crust, what I really love about the pizza is the outer crust with the burnt cheese!

Carol T.

Yelp
Lazy Days 'Detroit style pizza' is SO Good. We love the crunchy crust. 'Phillip the Black' is our pizza choice. AND we like Lazy Days beers!! Servers are friendly and helpful with menu choices. Atmosphere is welcoming. Service is great. We've been with just two of us and with a big group. Just writing this review I'm getting hungry. Wish I was there now.

Zandra G.

Yelp
Love this place! Nestled in downtown Beaverton, great selection of beer but that deep dish pizza is exquisite! I mean it's finger licking good! It doesn't give you that bar feel at least maybe because we strolled in on a Saturday afternoon. Great for Kids :)

Czarina A.

Yelp
Came in right when they opened and the server was super nice and welcoming. By looking at the pictures I knew I wanted to try the Jimmy Presto and the OG because of the "crazy sauce" they put on top. Both were really good and I've never tried Detroit style pizza before. Will definitely come back whenever we're in town!

Keith M.

Yelp
Stopped in w wife before a summer baseball game over @ Beaverton HS! Powered down a couple of delicious Lagers. The strawberry salad had fresh ingredients, and topped w chicken was best salad I can remember. Wife had a fresh strawberry salad w meatballs in side. Yummy! Wait staff brought by a cup of the beer cheese soup & chips, felt like Germany!! Stylish atmosphere. Folks need to eat here!!

Ali H.

Yelp
Happy Father's Day! These guys totally saved face today! We came in at the end of the day and learned they had ran out of their famous crazy red sauce and only had 6" pizzas left (busy day!) and everything was still so freaking amazing! If you are a regular here and want to mix it up, I suggest trying "all of the lights" with pesto! It was surprisingly delicious! And cheese bread was still amazing! :) great service again as well. Thanks guys!

Cathy S.

Yelp
This place is nice and cozy with amazing beer - perfect date night spot! Hubby and I came here for our first date night since having a baby (also for his early birthday dinner since pizza and beer are his favorite) and it did not disappoint! If you are a beer and pizza lover - definitely check this place out! We didn't order any cocktails but I feel like if you came here for drinks for a date, this is a pretty perfect place for that! The drinks: I got the sour beer called Marryin Berries and my word it was so delicious and tasted like juice!! (Very dangerous lol) Hubby got the more award-winning IPA Threat Level: Turquoise and I can definitely see why!! It was light and refreshing and sooooo fragrant! Must-try if you are an IPA lover or honestly just a beer lover! The food: There were big chucks of artichoke in the spinach artichoke dip and very creamy. I'm personally not a huge fan of Detroit-style pizza as it's mostly just bread but the Hubby loved it and the sauce and topping were flavorful with a crispy bottoM. The location is prime in Downtown Beaverton (a corner spot) so parking could be a little challenging but it's worth it! Make sure you make a reservation on Resy through their website!

Mitch C.

Yelp
Nacho week! It all started out very tasty. Nice slices of meat and plenty of cheese. After the top layer it was mostly just chips. Also, the acoustics are horrible. Echo chamber with everyone talking so loud because everyone at the every table that was talking loud trying to talk over each other we can hardly hear each other across the table.

Niki S.

Yelp
Oooh la la, they had an apple cinnamon smash swirly frozen drink thingy that won me over! The beer was good too :) Stopped in and had a drink (fine, I had two) while waiting for my takeout order. Service was friendly and prompt. I sat at the bar. For drinks, I got the black currant cider which was really good, but slightly on the "too sweet" side for me but I also try to not eat or drink sugary stuff. I then also had one of the aforementioned frozen-drink-drinks that I was told changes frequently. It wasn't super sweet. It tasted more like cinnamon and spices than it did of booze or bad decisions. I only wished I could have ordered the second drink in a half size. Getting another full serving of a frozen drink was a lot to consume from a frozen-bev perspective. It wasn't booze heavy or anything, just a lot of slushie to drink. Could have had worse problems. Speaking of problems, I did have a slight issue with my order. I ordered a meatzza pizza, some meatballs, and a large house salad. The hot food came out and I asked where the salad was and after a few minutes, the salad in it's box appears, huzzah. I didn't think to actually open and inspect the food while there. I got home, opened the salad, and saw it was just some greens with a few pieces of pickled onion. I figured maybe I overlooked everything the salad should have had on it, but it felt like a rip off to pay twelve dollars for a box of salad greens, basically. I looked online again at the menu and confirmed it was missing artichoke hearts and Parmesan. Mistakes happen but it would have been cool if someone would have spot checked the food prior to it leaving the pass and coming to me, just didn't leave me with a "WOO" impression. The other issue, granted very minor, is the disjointed information for finding their online menu. I had to click on the website, then click enter website, then I scrolled down to see some drinks and a few apps listed, but I had to then click on order takeout, just to see the full menu that lists more items on it. If you are looking for the full menu be sure to double check which/where you are looking at. Solid pizza that is like a workout chewing it, great brews from the ones I tried, just with some minor quality checks to improve moving forward. I don't know if I would be back for anything beyond Pizza and to check the latest brews.

Yelp
I've been an Ex Novo fan for several years! Drink Beer Do Good! This location is great. Had to park a few blocks away, it was a pleasant stroll in a lively part of town. Initially it didn't start off very well, the hostess was so engaged with her friend or whatever we stood there for a few before the bartender came over and helped us. Lucky we ended up sitting in his section & he was great. Food was good, (loved the meatless and gluten free options) drinks were good, bought a jacket I am beyond thrilled to have! I'd totally come back here!! I think it would be a great few blocks to explore further!

Jodi M.

Yelp
Great spot in downtown Beaverton. What a festive atmosphere there is on those few blocks with lights and bars and restaurants and live music. Ex Novo is a bar and pizza place that serves it local beer and so much more. There are specialty cocktails and wine and yummy appetizers not to mention the burgers and the Detroit style pizza. We were super happy with a hot artichoke dip that was full of garlic and flavor and served with chips. Second appy was a potato cheesy concoction that was so worthy. For dinner we shared a Caesar salad and pizza. Plenty of food for three hungry people and yummy beer choices.

Jonathan G.

Yelp
Had the forager 8" pizza. We were really excited about this pizza - with the different types of mushrooms and truffle oil... The good: - it was big enough for 2 of us - the edges were tasty and crispy - good bread texture The bad: - aside from the edges, the pizza actually didn't have much taste at all. It was very bland...was hoping for a lot more given the ingredients, but sadly, it just wasn't there Might try a different one another time..we'll see

Gabi K.

Yelp
Some of the better Detroit style pizza I've had. Very cheesy, very good. The edges are nice and crispy, and the cheese is delicious! Great selection of beers, cocktails, and even a few ciders. Lucky Cat Pizza: Delicious! The smoked sausage and the crispy bacon flavors and embedded in the cheese. Very good. Would love to come to try some of their pizzas. House Salad: Such a simple salad yet, packed with so much flavor. Highly recommend Blue Cheese Fondue w roasted veggies: Didn't know what to expect from the fondue but it was very good. Came in a small bowl, but was plenty. The roasted veggies were also very yummy. I recommend trying them.

Lucero G.

Yelp
High ceilings, big tables and amazing crust and pizza! Attention to our table was great, and the food came out with great timing. Some of us had beer, they had so many selections to choose from. AC was not on they gad it just a little stuffy.

Grace C.

Yelp
Hello PDX! Hubby and I were visiting the area. Got off the plane, got the rental car, did a quick stop at Jubitz for pressing pennies (just a touristy thing we do), picked up some necessities, got to our Vrbo, unpacked a little bit, and we were then ready for a meal. I was getting soooo hangry, and picked this place since a beer and carbs sounded good. Came by on a Sunday evening, found street parking (I can't tell on how easy or difficult street parking is normally, but we found a parking space pretty quickly), and moseyed on over to Ex Novo. We were warmly greeted, and told that we could sit down anywhere we want, There was a QR code on the wall for us to scan for the menu. We ended up getting one OG pizza (6", small), one mother of all cheesebreads, a large cesar salad, a pint of one of their pilsners, and iced tea. Hubby asked for all of the food at once (instead of whenever they're ready), so I was beyond hungry by the time the food came out. That being said, hunger makes food taste amazing, and we did polish basically everything except for two sticks of the cheesebread. Great ingredients across the board for all of the items. These weren't cheap ingredients, and you can tell that they weren't using cheap ingredients. Food came out piping hot if it came out of the oven, and the pilsner and iced tea were cold. The caesar salad had homemade croutons, and was tossed very well; you got great flavors with every bite. This place was thorough and consistent on their food performance. Nothing was burnt, nothing tasted off, sauces were up to the edge, crust was crunchy throughout, dressing was tossed throughout.... We thoroughly enjoyed the food here. And, of course, gotta give a shoutout to the staff. Everyone was polite, professional, and helpful. They stayed safe and wore masks, and provided hand sanitizer at the tables. Great place!

Brian Z.

Yelp
My wife and I stopped in for lunch - and are very glad we did! Being NM natives, anytime we see green chile on a menu, we get excited! Green Chile Beer Cheese soup was delicious, and we split the 'querque derk pizza. Service was great, and food was great.

Sam C.

Yelp
I love the vibe of this place, the people are so friendly, the beer is amazing, the cocktails are perfectly crafted, and the pizza is really yummy!

Jina H.

Yelp
Ordered to go at the restaurant and great service and once we got the food, it was a filling meal! We got a 2 appetizers- spinach artichoke dip with crostini and virginia's pearls (meatballs) and 2 pizzas- 6 inch Phillip the Black and 8 inch OG. Waited about 20 minutes and food was still warm when we got home. The 6 inch is a great size for a personal pizza or to share and the 8 inch can be good for 2+ people. The dough was chewy and not as crispy, but still good. Both pizzas were satisfying. The meatballs were good on their own, and the sauce gave some added depth, a little surprised on the small portion. The spinach artichoke dip was enjoyed though the crostini was a little too hard and it wasn't as consistently mixed as we were used to- The inside and vibe was casual and just fun! Dine In menu seems to be done by QR code. Staff was great and we definitely felt welcomed even if it was a to go order, as it was our first time our questions were answered as well. Love that there is a sign to wait for the host or hostess upon arrival too. Outdoor seating does seem available and staff wearing masks. Can definitely see myself coming back for some drinks and food!

Scott H.

Yelp
There used to be a place in Milwaukie that served Detroit style pizza. It was delicious but they ran the business into the ground. I was excited to hear of ex novo. The pizza was really good. I think I want a little more sauce. The og was good but way too salty. We also got the veggie pizza. It was such a perfect combo of flavors. There's not enough goat cheese on pizzas these days. We got the Buffalo chicken potatoes. Cheesy potato goodness. Little salty again but a unique treat. The meatballs were pretty good. Again I wanted a little more sauce. But they had good flavor and not too dry. The artichoke dip is definitely garlicky. I would avoid if you are sensitive. But very delicious. The pizza doesn't reheat awesome. It might be wise to under order and get lots of sides.

Yelp
Great drinks, best Pizza in Beaverton and awesome service! Sean and his team at Ex Novo have brought a truly great brewpub and authentic Detroit-style Pizza to the Westside of Portland. If you like the Detroit style, you have to try Ex Novo. For the vegetarian focused, ask for the Portland Pearl impossible meat balls! Kid and group Friendly. It does get busy, but there's a reason why.

Yelp
What yummy pizza! Go to the location and eat in, so much better then door dash. Sauce has got some zing which is great. Cesar is fresh and good flavor. Beers... enough said.

Yelp
I wasn't expecting to find another great pizza place in Beaverton, but after trying Ex Novo, they're my second favorite. The crust is fluffy and magical. The toppings are fresh and delicious. They are generous with the sauce. We tried Philip the Black and liked it a lot.
