My absolute favorite coffee shop in Bushwick. The service is always friendly and top notch, the drinks are delicious and made with love, and the pastries never disappoint. The music is consistently great and the overall ambiance is perfect for just chilling and reading or a quality work session. Add to that a consistent showcase of locally made candles, products, and apparel and you've got a staple of the community that is always worth a visit.

I’m sorry to be that person, but i have to say it: this place is not good. I came three times and got three different drinks: Latte- i got a latte, and it was quite sour. This probably means the grind on the espresso beans was wrong, making it taste weird. Matcha- i got an unsweetened matcha here, and it was also not good. I think the matcha was low quality, making it taste quite bad without sweetener. Drip- this is the worst offender- pleaaassee remake your drip coffee is every 4 hours or so!! If you dont, it gets old and tastes funky. Very simple fix, big difference. A lot of these things are not noticeable on sweet drinks. Please have your baristas try the drinks throughout the day to adjust the espresso grind and to remake the drip coffee. It gets an extra star for a nice atmosphere and quantity of seating

it’s a real gem of Bushwick! A huge space with European style and hipster vibe of Amsterdam lives here in NY. Special love to their merch and art on the wall. Coffee is good, Servers and cashiers - above and beyond 🔥love it there because of the ppl who works at Suzy✨❤️ You should come and feel this space and energy all around.

Lazy Suzy is an awesome spot to work for hours, with tons of seating, outlets, free fast WiFi and a futuristic, clean, open and minimal design. Huge backyard open all the time for taking calls and getting some fresh air. The coffee is solid, but the food offerings could be better. Add food and this would easily be one of the best places to hang out all day in bushwick.

Really nice coffeeshop. Great interior, ambiance, wifi, outlets.If I lived nearby, I would come often. Rose cardamom almond milk latte was very good.

I had a lavander matcha latte that tasted like froot loops here. Idk it was amazing to me. I heard the coffee is good too. Didn't seem to have much food options which was a bummer but did have a lot of space for people inside.

Some of the staff is very mean and indifferent. They made me a drip coffee that was so hot I can barely hold the cup. A female staff suggested to give another two cups as cushion but the male staff merely shrugged it off, saying it’s already double cupped so it should be good. Excuse me? Why don’t you try holding the cup for two seconds and see it for yourself? Or is your skin so thick you can’t feel the temperature? Fine, I decided to take the coffee to the side counter to put on the lid and some loose cup sleeves, but it was burning hot, I ended up spilling some coffee on my hands and on the counter. Nobody cared if I had burned. I even wiped the coffee off the counter myself. I will never come to this cafe again.

In my never ending quest to find an ideal coffee shop to work from, I came across Lazy Suzy, and I'd say it ranks among some of the better places I've parked myself and my laptop at. For one, it's large, and there are plenty of seats with tables along the walls and windows, and a large communal table in the middle. It's pretty popular though, with every seat filled when I first got there. Lucky for me that by the time I ordered, paid, and retrieved my latte a seat had opened up for me. I tried both a cafe latte with rose petals and matcha latte with rose petals, both lightly sweetened. Pretty solid, with standard expensive NYC prices to match. I like the minimal decor, natural light filled space and even the music. Their flavored latte menu is robust, with anything from pistachio lattes to lavender matcha on offer. The wifi was fast enough for the tasks I needed to complete and they offer the rarest of amenities-- outlets! I think that signals a friendly "you can stay as long as you'd like" vibe. Of course proper coffee shop etiquette means buying a drink for every hour-ish that you're there. Would totally recommend.

A wonderful spot to work from, plentiful seating with lots of outlets near by, great natural light, friendly staff, and great coffee! I can't wait to come back.

This is my new favorite place to study! There's lots of seats and plugs available and it's very spacious! I'm not the biggest fan of matcha lattes yes I'm a strange Asian but this place's rose matcha latte is INSANE. The ambiance is so peaceful and chill it's not loud at all and the music plays quietly in the background. When I come here early in the morning, I spend a solid hour unproductively just basking in the sunlight that drenches the whole cafe. Places like this make me want to live in Brooklyn forever.

This place is a place to lookout for ya'll, it's a quaint, simplistic approach showcasing an open floor design & High end service. I fell in love with the amount of light that flows within & throughout this creative space.

My favorite spot to get coffee!! Lazy Suzy has a wide range of drinks on their menu, unlike a lot of other coffee shops. I usually get a pistachio latte, a rose matcha, or their seasonal mocha, which are always amazing, and can be made with a milk of your choice. I also love that Lazy Suzy is a great place to get some work done. There are plenty of tables or seats at the communal table, as well as outlets to charge any of your devices. On weekdays, the place fills up completely from about 9:45am until noon. Lastly, the baristas here are the sweetest and I love that Lazy Suzy supports local art, businesses, and community. They have a community board to add flyers or info to, they have folks' art out which you can purchase, and they host book clubs and markets at least once a month.

GREEEEAAAT space to work! Fast wifi, great drinks and pastries. I appreciate that they didn't pack this place full with seats so that video conferencing is not a nightmare. They even have a printer! Saw other people use it and thought that it's a pretty nifty service if you live around here. Highly recommend!!

I've been on a matcha latte kick lately and wanted to find a good concoction in the hood. Yelp did not disappoint. It was a quick 10-minute walk and I wanted to get there before close at 3pm on a Sunday. I was surprised to see how spacious and airy the cafe was with a huge community table, along with more circular tables lining the inner walls and high seats at the windows. I would definitely come here during the work week or weekend for a few hours to change up the scenery. My rose matcha latte was delicious with the perfect frothiness that I love, add in the cute rose art that the barista fashioned. I would love to try all their matcha drinks in the near future.

So I got the rose cardamom iced latte with oat milk and omg it was honestly one of the best lattes I've ever had. The bottom has this rosy syrup and the espresso to milk ratio was spot on. I came here to do some work and honestly it was a great place to work although seating was difficult to find. I was sitting by the window and I saw decent amount of outlets and the wifi was pretty quick. Definitely a place where you want to treat yourself since that drink cost me close to $8 Also the barista wasn't the sweetest but I'll give her a pass for that because maybe she had a bad day

this place does such cute lattes its worth the trip! popped in on a Friday afternoon and every table was taken when I arrived. The space is very open and bright and neutral colors of the interior are super calming. it was apparent that they were mindful for those who work remotely because they even have a printer! i opted for the valentines day special latte which was too adorable with the little heart sprinkles. when it came to taste, i don't know if i can say i was a huge fan (it was very sweetened and may have even had rose syrup or some other floral thing) and i generally stay away from that with my coffee. i anticipate coming back to wfc (work from coffee shop) and try a classic coffee in the near future tho!

Ordered the iced LMAO and an iced americano before lunch on DD. -1 the way it was packaged was just terrible. caused so much spillage that our coffees were only 75% full by the time they arrived to my door. i would suggest stickers on the lids so that there's less spillage! i thought the latte was good, but the lavender could've been more prominent. it was definitely more tea-y then coffee-y. Would've appreciated more coffee flavor as well. Didn't think the matcha was prominent either. next time i'll be trying the rose matcha in hopes the floral flavor comes out more. for the price of these coffees, i would want flavors to be present as advertised in drinks.

This place was just ok. I really enjoyed my coffee, but the place is overpriced. The croissant I had tasted like it was from Starbucks or another fast food chain, definitely obvious they're not making them themselves. The service is very fast, though. There's a lot of seating but it's almost always packed. They have a lot of art work up, books available, as well as local art and jewelry for sale.

Oh my goodness... I can't even believe how close this is to my apartment, and it's taken me so long to walk down. It's just not really in a direction that I normally frequent in the neighborhood, but I am so glad that I did on this day. It is bright and very open inside with a lot of seating. I'm not one to actually bring my laptop and work in public spaces, but I might consider this spot going forward. First of all, let me state that the two baristas that were behind the counter that assisted me were so cute and so personable. We had great conversation about other places in the neighborhood that I like to frequent and why. I actually ordered an iced lavender latte and a ham and cheese croissant, and I have to say the latte was delicious. Lavender can be a tricky flavor. Theirs is made in-house, and it's quite tasty without being overly floral or tasting like cleaning products. I look forward to going back and trying some other latte options and maybe a different treat this time. Maybe even try working a few hours and see how that goes.

Lazy Suzy is such a cute little coffee shop in the Bushwick / Brooklyn area! This would be the perfect place to do work and focus. The interior is so well lit and decorated and has such a nice ambiance. I came to grab an afternoon coffee and ordered my usual Iced Almond Milk Latte. While it did taste good, it didn't blow my mind.. but what did was how pricey my drink was at $6+ for a pretty small size. I'm no stranger to paying exorbitant prices for coffee, especially in New York, but it shook me quite a bit that it was that expensive. My friend ordered their LMAO (Lavendar Matcha Oat Milk Latte) and while we thought it was good, the matcha flavor was lacking. It basically just tasted like sweetened oat milk and the lavender syrup made it taste like leftover cereal milk, like fruit loops?? There were also matcha clumps. I would give this spot a 3 based on the taste / price of the drinks but the place is cute and I can't speak for the quality of their other menu offerings so I'll round up to 4~

This is my favorite cafe in brooklyn! If you need a place to work from home, this is your best bet. It's huge with lots of great seating & fast wifi. The friendly baristas make the best drinks and the croissants are tasty.

I've been gone from Bushwick since before the pandemic, so I was excited to walk around the old hood and see what had changed for better or for worse. Gentrification in the 'wick has always been pretty in your face. The class discrepancies being especially highlighted on a short walk. As every block offers a different window into what developers have either managed to do, or what the community has managed to prevent from happening. Working from home I'm always looking for a good coffee shop to tuck into for the day. A quick search had be headed to Lazy Suzy. Located in the pinnacle of what is to come as far as housing goes is this shop Ie you turn a corner and feel like you're in California or made exclusively for Airbnb community. Very Sim like. You know the vibe. The coffee shop itself is a huge open space. Super clean and minimalistic with lots of tables for working at. Sleek like a WeWork. Now maybe to be expected but I was still surprised that they are card only. This neighborhood is full of bartenders, baristas, and other locals where the exchange of cash is simply how it goes. It's not only classist, but a bad business model to not accept cash. Yes I'm aware it makes bookkeeping easier, and the chances of till theft go away, but you are also particularly excluding patrons and for what? What was even more odd is that there was a tip jar out (as there should be!), which means someone, somewhere fully understands that cash is in fact highly desirable. I have no doubts that the coffee and goods are worth it, but shouldn't everyone have access?

Hidden Gem!!!! I don't usually venture out of Lower Manhattan or far from Brooklyn, but my friend recommended me Lazy Suzy cafe and I'm glad she did!! Lazy Suzy just opened in the heart of Bushwick. The coffee shop is pretty close to central ave stop. The location was a bit weird as it's in the middle of the block, and a bit sketchy. However, I definitely noticed modern apartments being built, so I'm sure it'll get better. The space is super aesthetically nice. The place is super big!! There are plenty of tables, workstations and outlets. I'll be surprise if you can't find a place to work out of. The baristas were super friendly and nice. Coffee was pretty good as I ordered two different drinks within 2 hours. I'll recommend this place if you're nearby!

Passed by this coffee shop in BK and wanted to give it a try. Matcha was not as strong as I thought it would be. But the cafe is very pretty and cozy

Love the aesthetic and drink choices here! We got a pistachio chai latte and a rose cardamom latte. Both were so yummy! The chai latte was perfectly spiced and had a good pistachio flavor. It's a very spacious location with lots of room for working or studying. The employees were super nice and helpful :)

This is such a great coffee shop! I discovered this place on my quest to get coffee one morning and this spot is in between the block (pay attention for the name when looking for it). First off this is a really large indoor venue for a coffee shop and was quite spacious and covid certified. You can definitely come here with your laptop and work done type of space. The staff is friendly and the barista made our drinks really well. Will definitely stop by. They also have a punch card so if you are likely to get coffee often you can get a free one towards every 10 cups.

When walking in you definitely get hit with the chill focused on the computer working vibe which I loved. I went in thinking it was just a cafe with coffee but a great spot to sip some coffee and get some work done on your computer . DIDNT BRING A COMPUTER CHARGER ? Not to worry ! They have plugs everywhere ! Usually located by your feet. The drinks are amazinggggggg! I had the iced lavender coffee. 10/10! The place is very clean and even has pillows to keep you nice and comfy . ENJoy!

Sterile, depressing aura in this cafe. The baristas were cold, didn't say "hello", and barely stopped a conversation between each other to take my order. The drip coffee was okay. Everyone inside was spread out and plugged into their individual laptops and phones. Upsides-- quiet, lots of outlets, and free wifi. If you come to cafe's to be alone or to study, this is a good spot for you. I'll probably give Lazy Suzy another shot when I need to get out of the house to study.

The best coffee in the area hands down. Never disappointed. The space is great and baristas are always nice. Get there before 11am if you want a seat though. It gets packed in there.

I'm so into this coffee shop. I came here with my laptop to get work done, and it's very comfortable. It's spacious and a very modern place. Even the restrooms are beautiful lol. The people here are very chill, getting their work done too. The windows are large, so there's lots of natural sunlight. There's plenty of places to sit. I got a brown sugar latte and probably the best almond croissant I've ever had. My only minor complaints are that the coffee & pastries are ridiculously overpriced, but something's gotta pay for this giant space right? Also, the barista was not the most friendly, but I've learned to keep my expectations low in Bushwick when it comes to customer service haha. But overall, I'm a fan. I can see this being a place where I come back to work remotely or just hang out with a komucha or coffee to read.

Really modern but cozy coffee shop. I popped in to get some work done and it's honestly a great spot! Parking was easy to find on a weekday and it was full but still have plenty of seating available. I only wish the center, communal table had extension cord/outlets. I had the super tasty almond croissant and the rose matcha latte. Both worth the rave! I hear there's a nice outdoor space and I can't wait to check it out in the summer. I have a feeling this place will become one of my preferred coffee shops.

My favorite to get drinks and work in Bushwick. The baristas are chill and friendly. The place is always clean and has outlet for you to charge your laptop and etc. my go to drinks are matcha and cold brew here. It's definitely becoming my second home lol

Lazy Suzy is a fairly new cafe in Brooklyn with the most amazing open space concept. Extremely spacious and tons of natural light, unlike most cramped smaller cafes in NYC. If you like clean, minimalistic decor, the aesthetic of this store is enough to make you happy. Good variety of the standard espresso drinks and they also have some more unique items like turmeric lattes. They have non dairy options like oat milk. I think they have almond too but I always get oat anyways. Coffee here tastes great and baristas are very friendly and take pride in making their beverages. TIP-- if you are staying there ask for a glass / mason jar to reduce waste !! They have some vegan pastries- last time I went they had vegan banana bread ! Overall a beautiful cafe with great coffee. Great place to enjoy your cuppa in a serene and peaceful environment.

Love the atmosphere here, such a great place for quiet reading or working. Bathrooms are super modern and there's two of them. I tried the Rose Matcha Latte with almond milk and it did have a subtle rose flavor. It was a good drink and the sweetness level was just right. I definitely see myself coming here again! The music isn't too loud either so it's quite peaceful.

Love this spot in Bushwick! Super spacious and great for doing work while social distancing. Staff is both friendly and welcoming. Their specialty drinks are fun and so far I've tried: The LMAO (lavender matcha oat latte) caught my eye and was what I needed to start the day. (note: It's on the sweeter side) The Brown Sugar Latte was delicious and a good blend of espresso and brown sugar. The Rose Matcha was floral and creamy with lil dried flowers sprinkled on top (I got it with Oat milk) They also have vegan pastries to snack on that pair well with their drinks. I love the lemon matcha - such a great combo! Definitely will be back to try their Horchata!

I love this shop!! The drinks are always delicious and made with care. Lots of drink options for vegans (matcha, tea, chai, etc.) as well as vegan loafs from Dank. Their barista Maggie is always so friendly and seriously makes the best drinks. Before COVID, I used to come work in the shop a lot. The perfect environment to focus on getting stuff done. Clean and minimal aesthetic with great music. Definitely check this place out!!

Got the LMAO latte today which surprised me a lot!! It's oat latte with matcha and lavender. As a lover of matcha, it will be my to go drink.

This is the perfect cafe for studying/ working! Lots of beautiful light & tons of seating + there was a good amount of outlets & free WiFi. Everyone else there also seemed to be working so it was just the right amount of background noise without being bothersome. I also really enjoyed my drink (brown sugar latte)! Would definitely recommend coming a bit earlier in the day though because it can get crowded later on.

I love this place so much!!! The drinks are delicious. The staff couldn't be kinder. Before the pandemic, they hosted awesome events (adoption with Korean K9, Artisan Market) to support the community and bring people together. They really care about their customers here Noodles (my dog) wasn't allowed inside, but they always had a little water bowl outside for him!!! OH the LMAO Latte with Oat Milk is also BOMBBBBBBBBB

I really enjoyed this cafe! So much seating, good WiFi, and outlets at every table. It's nice to have a place to work where I don't have to worry about not having anywhere to sit! And I felt comfortable being there for a long time. Tasty iced latte too!

Lazy suzy is such a little gem of a coffee shop! Its tucked in a little side street in Bushwick but is such a great haven for studying, catching up with friends, or just enjoying some great coffee. The decor is lovely--modern and open-concept and light--and makes this a perfect study spot even on the rainiest of days. They also have pastries and bottled drinks like Kombucha available. Overall, they've nailing the coffee basics as well as fun quirky drinks like Rose Matcha Latte. They have a whole host of milk substitutes as well, from oat to almond to soy. Wifi can be a little spotty in places but overall, this cafe is a dream

This is my go to coffee shop whenever I'm in the Bushwick area. The service is very friendly and they also have a large open space so that it doesn't feel congested at all. The music playlists they have are great, which is crucial when finding a nice coffee shop to meet with friends or to do work in! I ordered a peach iced tea which was tart and not too sweet and I would definitely get it again. I've also tried their lattes which are amazing as well! Whether I need to grab a quick coffee or need a place to do work, Lazy Suzy is on the top of my list!

Lazy Suzy is such a fantastic (not so) little cafe that I almost don't even want to write this review in fear of everyone knowing about my new favorite spot. Kind of like a teenager finding a new band and not wanting to tell anyone else about it because it no longer will be their special thing when everyone starts loving it. But Lazy Suzy is deserving of all the attention and the love because it is so rare to find a coffee shop this vibrant and big in Bushwick. Their outdoor space is huge, their coffee selection is awesome (they have matcha friggin yakult!!! The drink of my childhood!!! Like what?!), and their pastries are delicious. I love the chic scandanavian decor and I love that your elbows aren't touching the elbows of the person at the table next to yours. Hoping for a slightly bigger pastry/lighter fare assortment down the line but very content with what they've got right now :)

What a great addition to the Bushwick! I stumbled upon this cute cafe after seeing that they were hosting a dog adoption event. It's definitely a good place to study and meet up with friends. There are a good amount of tables and it's super spacious. I ordered the iced matcha yakult, where definitely taste both flavors. It's nice that they actually whisk the matcha instead of pouring matcha out of a cardboard carton. Can't wait to see the future events that Lazy Suzy brings!

What a great addition to the Bushwick neighborhood! Though it's hidden away in a side street, Lazy Suzy is the perfect place to get work done or to catch up with friends. They're brewing Stumptown and feature several local vendors for baked good and bottled drinks. Their menu is simple and straightforward. They offer all the basics but do them well. Their cold brew is on point and their freshly squeezed orange juice is actually freshly squeezed to order. The interior is modern, bright, and zen. There's lots of seating and outlets making it the best "work from home" spot. The owners and baristas are super welcoming and hospitable. If you live in the area, Lazy Suzy will definitely become your second home.

Ambiance, coffee, mini pastries, and pet friendly! The atmosphere surrounds you with an abundance of natural lighting. It was the perfect place for my friends and I to get together. Their combination of wooden furniture and concrete floors made the best representation of zen within the city. As I sipped my oat milk - iced latte, I felt the need to really take a few deep breaths and enjoy just being in the moment; that's the kind of place this is.

Amazing coffee and service! Love this cute cafe in Bushwick. Their rose matcha latte is delicious along with their other baked goodies. I appreciate how they're always hosting community events (prior to COVID) for adoption centers and local art fairs. Cafe is very clean and hopefully we can get back to gathering inside for more events!
